• Sagamoredad (6/5): Highs and Lows - Let's start with the good - great staff (front desk, breakfast and housekeeping) thank you! Crazy spacious room, well equipped kitchen, super cool AC and large laundry facility for guests ...which sadly, was filthy. Now the bad, MAINTENANCE. Urine stains on the toilet seats like you's expect to see in a train station. Our showers were covered in mold, the sink and shower drains were worse than slow, hot water takes way too long (funny to ask us to re-use towels when it takes 5-7 mins of running water to get heat.) Walls, floors and trim really beat-up with two huge floor tiles in the living area desperate for replacement - room 218. What was worse? The cost, a 2-room suite cost $2,200 for three nights. that's $733/night. We moved to the Hilton Metropole, double room, 3x as nice for half the cost. Yes, I agreed to the cost in advance so fool me once shame on me. For the rest of you, shame on you if you stay in this poorly maintained hotel for the same ridiculous cost. This was likely a really nice place when newer so it's really unfortunate to see it so run down.

Het was er erg warm, het raam kon maar een klein stukje open en in de achterste slaapkamer was geen enkele ventilatie mogelijk. Ook de ventilatie in de badkamer zonder raam werkte niet. Het dichtstbijzijnde metrostation was 16 minuten lopen.

• Agnieszka (2/5): Słabe warunki, świetna lokalizacja - Świetna lokalizacja przy ulicy pełnej punktów gastronomicznych, 10 minut spacerem do stacji London Bridge, z której są dogodne połączenie kolejowe i metro. Pleśń w łazience i zdarta armatura. Niewygodne łóżko. Brak okna w części sypialnianej, więc koszmarnie duszno. Okna otwierają się na 10 centymetrów. Klima ma tylko tryb na maksa, więc w pokoju może być albo zimno albo duszno. Śniadania fatalne, nigdy nie widziałam takiego ograniczonego wyboru w 4*, a nawet 3* hotelu. Jajka pojawiły się tylko 1 raz w ciągu tygodnia, warzyw i owoców jak na lekarstwo, brak ciemnego pieczywa (brak nawet noża do krojenia pieczywa), notorycznie czegoś brakowało - i z jedzenia, i ze sztućców, dystrybutor z wodą przestał działać i nawet niczym go nie zastąpiono. Stoły stoją brudne. Plus kolejki na śniadanie, jeśli było się później niż o 8. Obsługa niezbyt pomocna, raczej oschła. Na pewno nie wrócimy.

Bardzo mała odległość od krawędzi łóżka do ściany. Bardzo mała łazienka. Odklejają się silikon przy kabinie prysznicowej. W dniu zameldowania było bardzo ciepło, a pojemnik z wodą przy recepcji był pusty.

• Andras (8/5): Hotel with a good location - Staff is really friendly. The location is quite good. A lot of good restaurants is available nearby. The hotel is quite close to the train station and to many critical bus stops to the city center. The beds were quite uncomfortable especially the sofa bed. The floor was broken in the bathroom and the toilet was leaking after every flush. This should be monitored regularly by the staff after each bookings or periodically by following a strict checklist and it should not be the responsibility of the guest to report such a fault in the room.

• Stefanie (10/5): Would come back again. - The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. From greeting us at check in to Bianca helping me navigate the breakfast buffet for gluten free items. The place was very clean and comfortable. We were very close to 2 tube stations making it easy to get to and from Stansted Airport. Also the area itself had lots to see and do. The bathroom was quite small. I had hit my hand on the wall while trying to dry my hair and my knees grazed the wall while on the toilet, its that small in the bathroom. Also smelt a bit damp in there as well making me think the fan doesn't work or shower area not sealed in.

• 650dahliae (10/5): A hidden Gem by Marriott at London Tower Bridge area. - I had a wonderful stay at Residence Inn by Marriott Bermondsey in October 2025, travelled with my mother and twin sister. Initially, my sister had booked a double room as I wasn’t planning to join, but when I did, the reception team kindly accommodated all three of us at the same rate. This thoughtful gesture made a positive impression on us. The hotel features a modern interior design, while the building itself feels as though it may have been renovated from an older structure, though I’m not certain, it was just my impression and this adds a unique charm to the overall atmosphere. Cleanliness was consistently excellent, and the rooms, dining area and reception were always well maintained. The only minor drawback was that the rooms are somewhat small with low ceilings, which felt a bit uncomfortable at first until we got used to it. However, the reception team kindly accommodated us in an accessible room, which provided a bit more space and made our stay more comfortable. The hotel’s location is excellent, within walking distance of many of London’s iconic attractions including Tower of London, Tower Bridge, London Bridge, Borough Market, Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, and St Paul’s Cathedral. The hotel has also uniquely placed a map above the vending machine highlighting these landmarks (please refer to the photos). It’s also very convenient for transport, being about a 10-minute walk from London Bridge station and around 7 minutes from Bermondsey station. During our stay, the hotel had a Halloween-themed décor, which added a fun and festive touch. Breakfast was served daily with a good variety including cheeses, pastries, jams, yogurt, eggs, nuts, fruits, fresh juices, and hot beverages. It was also a nice touch to have pastries and fruits available at reception throughout the day along with vending machines for drinks. There is also a small convenience market within the hotel reception, and both Sainsbury’s and Tesco are conveniently located within a 10-minute walk. • Davide (10/5): Ottimo tutto! Grazie! - La posizione è comoda per visitare la "City" ed il Tower Bridge. La metro è a 10 minuti di camminata, noi siamo rimastio soddisfatti della locazion. A me è piaciuto tutto, al momento, onestamente, non cambierei niente. Il personale è stato gentilissimo, la qualità della colazione era ottima e ben fornita, la camera era pulita e c'era tutto quello che serviva per passare qualche giorno in relax.

• Maria (8/5): Tolle Lage, guter Preis! - Die Lage ist sehr gut. Ein tolles Viertel und man ist in ein paar Minuten mitten im Geschehen. Das Zimmer war wie ein Apartment mit voll eingerichteter Küchenzeile. Das Frühstück war gut und mehr als ausreichend. Für Londoner Verhältnisse ein gutes Hotel zu einem guten Preis. Die Schlafcouch war etwas unbequem und für drei Leute war das Zimmer dann aufgrund der Vollausstattung doch etwas klein.

• Kristina (9/5): super Kurz-Trip in einem tollen Hotel - Die gebuchte Suite ist zwar ziemlich klein, und das separate Schlafzimmer hatte keine Fenster, aber es hat uns nicht sehr gestört, da wir hier eh nur übernachtet haben. Da das Hotel nicht direkt auf der großen Straße liegt, sondern im Hof, war es schön ruhig. Das Bett im Schlafzimmer war super bequem, ich habe nur mein ergonomisches Kissen vermisst :D. Das Schlafsofa hingegen war schon etwas durchgelegen, aber für ein paar Nächte noch durchaus in Ordnung. Alles ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und in der Küche ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Nespresso Kaffeemaschine ist an sich ein großes Plus, wenn man viel/gerne Kaffee trinkt. Bei unserer Ankunft war schon alles vorbereitet, und auch alles sauber. Wir hatten ein Problem mit der Heizung/Klimaanlage, da aus dieser mehr oder weniger direkt nach dem einschalten nur noch kalte Luft (also Klima und das Anfang April!) kam und man konnte sie garnicht mehr ausschalten. Nachdem wir es bei der Rezeption gemeldet haben, haben die sich aber echt schnell darum gekümmert. Sie war wohl kaputt und sie mussten sie komplett abstellen. Dafür haben sie uns aber direkt eine mobile Heizung mitgebracht - vielen Dank dafür! Das Frühstück war sehr gut mit allem, was man für einen gelungenen Start in den Tag gebrauchen kann - ich fand vor allem die tagesfrischen Croissants und den Kaffee super :)! Wir waren echt froh, das Zimmer inkl. Frühstück gebucht zu haben! Das Hotel befindet sich in der Nähe einer großen Straße (Bermondsey), auf der man allerlei Restaurants und Bars findet. Über diese Straße gelangt man in ca. 15min Fußweg zur Metro-Station London Bridge, von dort aus kommt man sehr schnell in die City und zu den bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Tower Bridge ist zu Fuß in nur 10min zu erreichen. Alles in Allem waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt mehr als zufrieden und sollten wir wieder London besuchen, würden wir uns wohl wieder für dieses Hotel entscheiden :)! Das mit der Heizung - da sie sich aber schnell darum gekümmert haben, fanden wir es nicht wirklich schlimm :)

• Sanna (10/5): - Todella ihana paikka mukavan kadun varrella. Aamupala oli oikein hyvä ja saimme myös kirjautua sisään aiemmin. Huoneessa oli kaikki tarvittava, jääkaappi ja (mikro)uuni olivat mukavia lisiä. Hieman kävelymatkaa juna-asemalle, mutta ei liikaa. Bussit taas menevät ihan läheltä.

The building was under reparation with no access to the stairs for a good part of the entire week I stayed, nothing was said about this when I booked. Too expensive for an hotel under construction / reparation. With this knowledge I could have book the sister hotel nearby. Plus problem of noises in the bathroom ventilation that were fix simply by cancelling the ventilation, which is not a sustainable fix for a full week

Asukoht on väga hea – umbes 10 minuti kaugusel Tower Bridge’ist. Such hotel standards do not ask room numbers anymore), checkin was done by unprofessional staff (arrived early hoping for a room available so my 1year old son can nap, staff informed still cleaning which is ok but never clearly stated to come back at 3pm which created our hope waiting for 1hour min, then arrived at 3pm staff seemed lost with my room asking if we want sofa bed, after said no, we got the room with a sofa bed prepared, and the baby cot was not ready in room, checkin was horrible experience)

• sga279 (2/5): Dirty hotel and callous, unkind experience - What started as a great experience has become absolutely terrible till now - we reached in the morning (tired and jetlagged) and were assigned an available accessible room (this is the great part). Unfortunately the accessible room was pretty dirty - feels it doesn’t get used or cleaned often - it started with a blocked washbasin, turned out the plug was at the bottom of the sink. But then noticed the very dirty pot (see pic, apologize for posting something that filthy but it’s the truth) - this was totally unacceptable and I requested the room change immediately cos it became pretty evident that this hasn’t been cleaned in a while; what was very disappointing is that the supervisor in the front desk responded that he couldn’t say whether this was dirty when we checked in or it was because of us! And couldn’t change the room until the next night.. that was very callous and unkind. Personally very let down and considering the attitude, I felt it is important for anyone staying here to be aware how the management (axiom hospitality) reacts. Thankfully he at least sent the maintenance to clean (pic posted as well) but this is the state of hotel and team representing room priced at $250+; does this feel worth it to you?
