Desde el primer momento nos hemos sentido muy a gusto: el lugar es realmente acogedor y transmite una tranquilidad especial. Nuestra habitación tenía unas vistas preciosas a la montaña y al río, lo que hacía la experiencia aún más especial. Despertar allí ha sido, sin duda, uno de los grandes recuerdos del viaje. El desayuno merece una mención aparte: todo recién hecho, con productos de gran calidad, muchos de ellos cultivados por los propios anfitriones, incluido el café. Se nota el cuidado y el cariño en cada detalle. Los propietarios, un matrimonio encantador, han sido excepcionales con nosotros. Muy atentos en todo momento, nos recomendaron rutas por la zona menos turísticas e incluso se ofrecieron a facilitarnos el transporte. Sin duda, es un lugar totalmente recomendable. De hecho, nuestra experiencia fue tan positiva que decidimos ampliar nuestra estancia dos noches más. Si volvemos a Ollantaytambo, repetiríamos aquí sin pensarlo. Recomendamos además contactar directamente con el hospedaje para organizar la estancia.
• Diana (10/5): - We stayed here two times, before and after our trip to Machu Picchu and we felt very welcome! The staff was very kind and they were so careful tending to our needs. The property is run by a lovely couple and it felt like a family stay at times. The breakfast was great and it was more than enough to start our day. They let us store our luggage during our trip to Machu Picchu and it made a great difference not having to carry heavy backpacks around. Nothing! :)

Ollantaytambo is ook een prachtige plek om te bezoeken en de toer van Stein naar Moray, Maras en Chincero was ook prachtig om te doen. Dat ik al weer weg moest, de tijd vloog om :)

• Simon (10/5): Gorgeous Lodge in Ollantaytambo - The hosts Edith and Stign (Stan) made us extremely welcome. We wanted to stay in a more rustic, original type of accommodation and this ticked all the boxes. I requested a room overlooking the river which was very relaxing with the water at night. The shower pressure and heat was superb. The beds were really comfortable with lots of bedding (if you felt cold) The property may be a little far to walk for the unfit ( we are mid 60s ) but little 3 wheel taxis are in abundance from the square ( 15 mins walk ) Stan organised a taxi for us on our trip to Machu Picchu to the train station ( 7-8mins ). We did walk back at night. The breakfast consisted of a gorgeous fresh fruit salad, finished off with a little flower. Scrambled eggs and flatbreads. With juice and coffee. We would quite happily stay here again. Give it a go.

Me surpreendeu positivamente. Possuem uma gestão muito profissional e humana do Lodge. Fluentes em vários idiomas, produzem um chocolate maravilhoso tipo Belga. Roupas de cama equivalente a qualquer hotel de 4 ou 5 estrelas. Sinceramente não me recordo de nada.
• Charlotte (10/5): Amazing stay - Amazing Accommodation! My room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. I only got the bread but they have fruit salad, eggs and coffee. The view was incredible too. I could see the archaeological site from my window. It’s only a 7min walk to the plaza so that means it’s quiet compared to the center. Very friendly owners and staff i felt really welcome here. Would 100% recommend this place to solo travelers and people travelling in group!

• Eric (10/5): Beautiful hotel amazing staff friendly and very welcomeing. - This is a family Run Hotel that really cares about the overall stay from its guests. Stan and his lovely family made a huge effort to make us feel comfortable. The breakfest is cooked with love and care each morning and is as good as it gets. We highly recommend this hotel and its location. It’s a short 10 min walk to the main square and far enough away you can have peace and quiet in the lovely seating area just outside the front entrance. The price is great and we highly recommend this hotel. I cannot say anything bad it’s perfect

• Matthew (9/5): 2 nights in Ollantaytambo - Comfortable room with a powerful and hot shower. Breakfast was great and one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had in Peru, and we also got a packed breakfast when we had an early start one morning. The hostel let us store our bags for free when arriving early and after checking out which was a real help. Hostel is well located for exploring all the town has to offer and a good base for excursions further afield. Could have done with some side lights by the bed and there wasn't many plug sockets

Um dos motivos de termos escolhido o hotel foi a vista, vimos ele em um vídeo na Internet, e mesmo que com o rio seco isso não seria um problema para nós, pois gostaríamos de ficar na varanda e ver a vista, mas quando chegamos o endereço, entrada e a varanda que tinhamos visto não ficavam no mesmo lugar que nos hospedamos. O restante das instalações como os quartos eram idênticos, a quebra na expectativa foi que o motivo que escolhemos o hotel não estava lá.

L'unico suggerimento: mettere delle tende un pochino più oscuranti perché quelle che ci sono sono molto chiare

What made this hotel exceptional is the hosts Edith and Stan, you will not find a warmer welcome anywhere on your travels. Edith was so helpful arranging a transfer from Cusco airport, sorting out a tuk tuk to take us to the rail station, and arranging a return to Cusco and somewhere to store our bags while we looked around. We were only here a few days but felt like we were staying with friends. Superb. N/A

No drinking water or bottle water were provided and we had to purchase. No assistance with luggage. This place doesn’t meet many criteria for being listed on Expedia.
• Chris (8/5): - Nice friendly staff, a comfy bed, a good breakfast. The accommodation is listed as having a balcony. It's not a balcony. It's an outdoor corridor that leads to rooms. There are no seats to use and even if there was there wouldn't be the room. Bathroom drains were smelly. Plug points in very odd places....one 5 foot off the ground another in the middle of your pillows.

Even the coffee they had grown themselves. The owners were incredibly nice and chatty. Upon departure they even shared some chocolate from their own garden with us. Cleanliness could maybe have improved slightly. There were several insects in the bathroom when we arrived. Also the check-in was a little bit messy and they didn't seem to be too aware of our booking initially.

• Joshua (10/5): - They have two lodges, we stayed in both. See if you can get in #1, it has a balcony and views of the valley, and the archeological site. Stan and his wife are very helpful, and he was always asking how things were, like “Enough hot water?” Nice breakfast and eating area.
• Paula (10/5): Great place to stay in Ollaytaytambo - The staff were absolutely wonderful, helpful amd accommodating. Beds were very comfortable.

• Hans (7/5): Mooie eerste kennismaking met Peru. Volop genoten. - Ontbijt was prima. Goed verzorgd met vers fruit etc. Accomodatie sober, doelmatig. Deed wat het moest doen maar ook niet meer.
• Brodelle Agnes (10/5): - très bon rapport qualité-prix. très bon petit déjeuner. emplacement un peu loin de la gare, mais au calme dans la ville authentique. Belle chambre familiale. eau chaude faible et difficile à régler.
• Alain (10/5): très agréable d'autant plus que le site d'Ollantaytambo est splendide ! - établissement tenu par un couple belgo-péruvien (donc polyglotte) situé à 500 m du centre ville, donc, éloigné de l'agitation de la Plaza, donc au calme, mais facilement & rapidement accessible via la rue pavée parallèle à la route ; avons apprécié de pouvoir prendre le petit déjeuner, copieux par ailleurs (thé, café, omelette, salade de fruits) dehors (terrasse). Serviabilité de la patronne & du personnel (jeune) pour nous être agréable, le patron s'assurant de notre bien-être. Mais surtout je les remercie d'avoir pu assister à la cérémonie (avec musique & chicha) d'"échange de service" (coupe des eucalyptus envahissant la rivière) entre familles, chez les parents de la patronne. RAS (je ne peux pas leur en vouloir d'accueillir des jeunes, même s'ils sont un peu bruyants!)

• Paula (6/5): Bona dutxa! - Bones vistes. Dutxa molt agradable i aigua calenta! A la recepció mai hi ha ningú i has de trucar-los perquè vinguin, això és poc pràctic. Esmorzar molt fluix.
• Samantha (8/5): - Clean and good food for breakfast. The only room had no heater so it was cold at night but the bed is warm. Thin walls and windows so it can be loud.

• Elaine (9/5): New, clean rooms in beautiful location, easy drop off/pick up - We really like the location of this property. It is right outside the old city, just across the street. Our room was right over the river with a view of the archaeological site. Breakfast was decent - coffee, scrambled eggs, fruit cup, bread. The beds were very warm and comfortable. Plenty of hot water. The owners, Edith and her husband, are super friendly and secured rides for us to various places around ollantaytambo. This was a minor annoyance for me as a 5’4” woman. My husband, 5’9”, had no trouble avoiding getting soaked. To turn on the shower you must step into the area where the shower water falls. It’s a rude, cold awakening since the first water that comes out is cold. Some sort of long stick would be helpful for turning it on. Once it runs for a minute or two the water is nice and HOT.
• Marleen (9/5): Heerlijke uitvalsbasis voor bezoek aan Ollantaytambo en Machu Picchu! - De locatie is rustig gelegen op korte loopafstand van het centrum. Ontvangst en personeel zijn heel vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam. De kamers zijn rustig gelegen. De bedden slapen goed en hebben echt heerlijk dikke dekbedden. Het ontbijt is ook een verrassing met verse producten uit tuin en verse eitjes van eigen kippen. Prima uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Ollantaytambo en Machu Picchu. Wij hebben genoten van een heerlijk verblijf.
• Aurelie (9/5): Excellent rapport qualité- prix - La gentillesse et l’accueil des hôtes, la localisation, le petit déjeuner (avec la possibilité d’avoir un petit-dej à emporter si départ avant 7h) et la propreté. Après 2 semaines de voyage, c’était le meilleur logement pour nous. Rien !
