• Charlotte (8/5): - La vue était incroyable et la plage agréable. Le personnel nous a énormément aidé. Ils sont venu nous chercher au ferry et on organisé un lit en plus pour mon fils de 4 dans la chambre climatisée. Petit problème de santé et ils nous ont aidé à aller au centre médical en scooter, vraiment le côté humain rien à redire. Le petit déjeuner est bon mais assez limité donc 3 jours la même chose c’était un peu redondant. Des singes dans la jungle à côté et des Bernard L’hermite sur la plage, trop cool. On a marché jusque l’autre côté de l’île 30 min environs et restaurant / bar vraiment sympa. Café à 2 min de l’hôtel super bon. - Une altercation avec un couple de Suisse qui nous ont insulté en arrivant pour le dîner le premier soir uniquement car… nous avions des enfants.. ils n’avaient même pas encore fini de monter les escaliers. Nous étions les seuls sur la terrasse et nous mangions tranquillement. Le personnel n’a rien fait/dit. Nous nous sommes senti mal les deux autres soirs à cause de ça et n’avons plus manger la bas excepté le petit déjeuner. Je peux entendre que des enfants qui passent leur temps à hurler puisse déranger mais pour le coup nos enfants à ce moment étaient calmes et mangeaient simplement. - Nous n’avons pas pu utiliser la piscine car le PH était bas.

• Liliane (5/5): nicht empfehlenswert! - freundliches Personal, Abholservice vom Pier, Frühstück und Mittag-/Abendessen waren geschmacklich sehr gut, direkt am Strand, sauber Die Bungalows weisen einige Spalten auf, durch welche Insekten und kleine Tiere leicht reinkommen. So hatten wir große Kakerlaken, sonstige Insekten und kleine Eidechsen im Zimmer. Durch diese Spalten wurde es, trotz Klima, nicht wirklich kalt bzw hat es Stunden gedauert bis es einigermaßen erträglich war. Der Pool bleicht das Gewand extrem aus und ruiniert Silberschmuck. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt leider gar nicht! Die angebotenen Speisen im Restaurant sind recht teuer und die Portionen dafür sehr klein. Alles in allem würden wir nicht erneut wiederkommen.

Dishes we tried here would be suited to a very sophisticated restaurant in Bangkok, possibly even a Micheline star one, and we know what we are talking about my husband is a chef :) Some light fittings around the gardens need to be updated

• brendan (10/5): - What a stunning location with a private clean sandy beach and excellent sunset view, truly fantastic staff team, they couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. We had dinner at the onsite restaurant the three nights we stayed, it was that good! This was our third trip to beautiful, peaceful Koh Jum and hopefully if we get an opportunity to return we won't be staying anywhere else except Banyan Bay Villas. Having to leave at the end of our stay.
• Pelletant (10/5): - Nous sommes restés 4 nuits à Banyan Bay Villas et au moment de partir nous nous sommes dit que nous aurions pu facilement rester deux fois plus longtemps tant nous avons apprécié notre séjour. Avant même d'arriver sur place, il est important de noter la communication absolument parfaite avec les équipes quant à la coordination de notre arrivée, avec toujours la volonté de trouver les meilleures solutions ! Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par le propriétaire des lieux qui est parfaitement francophone de surcroît :) Notre bungalow était spacieux, joliment décoré, propre, un lit avait installé spécialement pour notre fille de 6.5 ans. L'environnement direct est magnifique et l'espace entre les bungalows assure une vraie tranquillité. Une jolie plage est accessible facilement ainsi qu'une piscine très agréable. Que dire de la qualité du personnel ? En tout point remarquable ; gracieux, efficace et proactif. L'établissement nous a de plus organisé une sortie snorkeling parfaite. Une journée exclusive sur un bateau conduit par un excellent connaisseur des lieux. Une journée inoubliable. L'ile possède un grand nombre de restaurants mais dîner sur place est aussi une opportunité de se régaler ! C'est important de le noter car ce n'est pas toujours le cas en Thaïlande. 10/10 pour les équipes en cuisine (idem pour les petits déjeuners généreux) Bref. Nous reviendrons certainement lors d'un futur voyage en Thaïlande ! Merci. Être restés 4 jours seulement :)

• Daphne (10/5): Warm friendly staff and gorgeous view - The owner Kitima and her staff were incredibly warm and hospitable. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable. Kitima even cut aloe for my daughter's heat rash. They also helped us book a scooter for the day and gave good advice on where to go. The room was gorgeous (very spacious) and the photos do not do this place justice. The view was incredible, we were right on the beach, and had so many amenities like the pool and kayaks just steps away. The outdoor bath was also a nice luxurious addition. We also loved that this place has few guests and it felt like a quiet, remote getaway. Food was also incredible The bonus is that there were cute dogs ! Highly recommend.

Det finns bara 7 bungalows vilket gör det hemtrevligt! Poolen var superbra. Fina skuggiga viloplatser och fin strand. Ta badskor med för lite stenigt vid stranden. Vattnet härligt och klart. Maten! Bästa maten vi fått någonsin i Thailand! Vill man ha lugn och ro, varva ner utan sus o dus då är detta stället perfekt! Det är backigt så kanske inte lämpligt för folk som har svårt att gå. Vi kommer gärna åter och kommer rekommendera er till alla! Inget.

• Nigel (10/5): Gorgeous bungalows... - Gorgeous place. The bungalows are excellent, big, and well-equipped. The food was excellent (breakfast included & was lovely). It has its own little beach with deck chairs & bean bags. The pool is also nice. The bedroom had a mosquito net over the bed. Really nice place to stay.

Beneden een gezellige ruimte waar we samen konden zijn en verder ieder z’n eigen slaapkamer en badkamer boven. De ligging was heerlijk, het personeel super vriendelijk. • James (10/5): It was a true escape, into a peaceful, relaxed sanctuary of authentic Thai Island life. - This is another one of those instances..... you don't REALLY want to tell anyone else about this hidden gem, but it wouldn't be fair on the fabulous owners/staff to not share the positive feedback. Everything that has been written by the previous happy guests is 100% true. The warm welcome, spacious accommodation, delicious food, stunning location, very attentive Thai & Burmese staff etc.... it's all hospitality of the highest order. The Thai Lady owner, Kitima is so helpful and appears genuinely interested in making sure that everything about your stay is exactly as you'd hope. Leaving?

• Isabelle (10/5): Es hat uns ausserordentlich gut gefallen! - Super Team, speziell Khun Kwan! Alles war perfekt: Frühstück, Abendessen, Stimmung - toll! Unser Bungalow befand sich nur wenige Meter vom Meer entfernt, und es war wunderbar, morgens aufzuwachen und gleich das Meer zu sehen.

• Sabrina (9/5): - Die Villen bieten einen tollen Block auf das Meer. Sie sind ausgestattet mit einem Wasserkocher, Tee, Kaffee, Kühlschrank und Klimaanlage. Eine Filteranlage sorgt für dauerhaft verfügbares Trinkwasser. Kleine Glasflaschen zum befüllen findet man ebenfalls in den Zimmern. Das Frühstück erfolgt nicht in Buffetform, was eine nette Abwechslung ist. Im Hotel kann man direkt Roller mieten um die Insel zu erkunden. Am Strand ist es steinig, aber mit Badeschuhe durchaus machbar. Es stehen Kajaks und SUP kostenlos zur Verfügung. Auch Affen kann man von den Terrassen aus beobachten. Diese kommen sogar bis auf die Villendächer. Weiterhin ist zu erwähnen, dass wir einen tag vor Anreise angeschrieben worden, wann wir am Pier ankommen, damit man uns abholen könne. Alles in allem ein gelungener Aufenthalt. Der Pool bietet eine angenehme Abkühlung. Allerdings ist er stark geclort. Es gibt keinen Überlauf und auch keine sichtbare Pumpe. Morgens wird er von Blattwerk und Insekten befreit.

Maden var noget af det bedste mad vi har smagt i Thailand. Lidt dyrere end andre steder men alle pengene værd. Vi spiste de fleste af vores måltider på hotellet. Personalet er enormt søde og meget hjælpsomme. Flere talte fint engelsk. To søde hunde som vores børn elskede at lege med.

• raphael (9/5): Hôtel paisible, reposant , chaleureux et qui a du charme. Très bon restaurant sur place - Très bel hôtel et personnel vraiment très accueillant et chaleureux. L'endroit est très paisible , beau et reposant donnant sur une magnifique baie ( possibilité de se baigner et convient très bien aux familles avec enfants du coup) Le restaurant de l'hôtel est top, très bonne cuisine. Un peu loin des belles plages mais il faut juste louer un scooter ou prendre un taxi ( pas cher ) pour passer une partie de la journée sur ces plages puis revenir profiter ensuite de l'hôtel et de la piscine. Toutes ces belles prestations font que l'hôtel est forcement du coup sur un budget un peu plus élevé que la moyenne pour la Thaïlande, mais normal à mon avis.

• Thomas (10/5): Fantastische Unterkunft auf extrem entspannter Insel - Wunderschöne Anlage in einer einsamen Bucht, hervorragendes Essen, das freundlichste und hilfsbereiteste Personal, das wir in Thailand erlebt haben (und wir haben sehr, sehr viele freundliche Menschen erlebt). Motorrad- und Tuktuk Verleih vor Ort, gute Massage am Pool mit Blick aufs Meer. Unglaublich liebe Hunde Die ganze Insel und auch das Hotel sind nicht für Partytiger geeignet, sondern für Naturliebhaber (Dschungel, Affen, Hunde, Katzen,…) und für Ruhesuchende ein Paradies. Wir waren mit unseren beiden Kindern dort und das war perfekt. Es sind aber sehr viele, tlw steile Stufen dort, was für Menschen mit Gehbehinderung schwierig ist. Bei Ebbe sind in der Bucht viele Steine, stört aber (und zumindest) gar nicht, man kommt sehr schnell zu anderen Stränden, wenn man will!
• Melissa (10/5): Wunderschöne Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage - Diese Unterkunft ist perfekt! Sie ist ganz schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Der Zugang direkt zum Strand ist toll und man kann sich dort Kajaks oder SUPs ausleihen und die Gegend erkunden. Das Service ist auch super - alle Mitarbeitende sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und lecker! Vom Pier aus sind es 15 Minuten mit Taxi/ Motorbike. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und würden es zu 100% weiterempfehlen und wiederkommen :)
• Sara (10/5): We can’t wait to come back to Banyan Bay Villas as it is so beautiful in an idyllic setting with great staff, a private - Banyan Bay Villas was absolutely stunning in a great quiet location at the top of the island in Koh Pu. It has its own private beach and we often felt like we had it to ourselves as even though there are 8 villas, there is so much space and privacy. There are free paddle boards and kayaks to use and we hired a scooter from the resort to get around. The villa was beautifully furnished and had a wonderfully luxurious feel with the best shower ever and a comfortable bed. We were right on the beach and spent a lot of time on our veranda as the setting was so idyllic. All of the staff were fabulous and we had a wonderful welcome from Bastian on arrival - everyone at Banyan is so kind and helpful. There are three gorgeous dogs, several cats and even an otter living at the resort!! We had monkeys all n the woods nearby who occasionally made an appearance but no trouble. Koh Jum is a magical island full of beautiful people who welcome you with open arms and make you feel you never want to leave. Nothing… it was perfect.
• Matt1985ch (7/5): Schöner Aufenthalt mit Potenzial nach Oben - Freundliches, stets bemühtes Personal. 3h früherer check-in, sowie 4h späterer check-out. Preisgünstiger Rollerverleih direkt vor Ort. Tolle ruehigerer Lage. Schöner, fast Menschenleerer Strand. Kayaks und Subs zur freien Verfügung. Gratis Trinkwasser zum selber auffüllen. Massagen direkt vor Ort möglich. Nette Restaurants nicht weit entfernt direkt am Strand. Fast kein Wasserdruck in der Dusche nur 2 Stufen: feuerheiss oder eiskalt. Hunde, Katzen und sogar ein Otter können frei in die Küche, und werden teils sogar dort gefüttert, während die Gäste des Restaurants bekocht werden. Ausch ist die Poolbar geschlossen, da sich dort der Otter eingenistet hat. Dies führt dazu, dass es rund um den Pool bestialisch stinkt. Leider nicht so schön und daher besser ins Meer gehen.

It is a place in the jungle, so be aware of lots of animals (monkeys, lizards, bees, mosquitoes) The house we stayed in was beautiful and very big! But with a lot of holes to the outside, so we were very happy with the mosquito net. The dogs and the cats they have are very lovely and make sure the monkeys do not come to close.

Maden var rigtig god og personalet var så søde og hjælpsomme. Det var perfekt med baby, da vi kunne sidde på terrassen i skygge og lege hele dagen. God kaffe savnede vi lidt.

The lady who runs the hotel has 3 dogs (golden retrievers and pomeranian) and the property has 2 cats, turtles and a sea otter. Make sure to meet them while you're there. The island itself is pristine with beautiful beaches and amazing sunsets. Food is great!
• Sean (9/5): Escape away from the chaos - It was a quiet little resort on a fairly quiet little island. The food was great, the staff were great, the excursions were awesome, the room was nice with a comfortable bed. Its remote and only an hour and a half from Krabi Airport. 45 minutes drive and 45 minute boat ride. The staff helped arrange transportation to make everything easy. Bikes and motorbikes to rent for the day. Very chill and relaxing but kayaks, paddle boards, and excursions if need to be active. This resort is in nature. You have to be okay with that. We didn't have any issues in our room but as you walk around you will find lizards, spiders, hermit crabs, and maybe a monkey. The resort did have friendly dogs to keep the monkeys away and a few cats to help with critters.

• Lisa-Marie (7/5): Schöne Unterkunft mit Abstrichen - Die Lage und die Aussicht waren wunderschön. Den Strand, der direkt an der Unterkunft war, hatten wir praktisch nur für uns. Das Personal war super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Auch bei Unverträglichkeiten beim Essen konnten wir uns an sie wenden und sie haben das sehr ernst genommen und uns weitergeholfen, sodass wir sowohl beim Frühstück als auch beim Abendessen etwas essen konnten. Die Hütten waren grundsätzlich schön und hatten diesen Strandhütten Charme mit Blick direkt auf das Meer. Im Zimmer gab es einen Safe zum Verstauen der Wertsachen. Die Klimaanlage hat sehr gut funktioniert. Beim Frühstück gab es viel Auswahl und es war sehr lecker. Das Abendessen war ebenfalls super lecker - etwas teuer, aber in Ordnung. Im Zimmer gibt es einen Trinkwasserhahn der das Leitungswasser filtert. Kajaks und Stand Up Paddle konnten kostenlos genutzt werden. Die Hütten sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und man sollte damit rechnen, dass Insekten ins Zimmer kommen können, durch das offene Bad und Spalten im Fußboden, Decke, Wände etc. Das Mückennetz über dem Bett war schon sehr abgenutzt, hatte Löcher und war schlecht positioniert, sodass sich nicht das ganze Bett abdecken ließ. Es sollte einem außerdem bewusst sein, dass das Hotel sehr abseits gelegen ist, wenn man Ruhe sucht aber perfekt. Die Englischkenntnisse vom Personal könnten verbessert werden. Im Zimmer war es zwar grundsätzlich augenscheinlich sauber, aber es lag viel Staub herum. Leider ist uns in der letzten Nacht aufgefallen, dass die Kissen unter dem Bezug bereits schimmeln, wahrscheinlich dem Klima geschuldet, dennoch hätte das auffallen müssen, wenn die Bezüge gewechselt werden. Allen neuen Besuchern würden wir empfehlen, die Kissen zu prüfen und ggf. zu beanstanden. Das hat unser Erlebnis in der Unterkunft etwas kaputt gemacht, da das doch sehr eklig war.

It’s not only an oasis of beauty and tranquility, but you’re treated like family. The restaurant also serves fantastic food with an amazing view. It’s a very calm location (do your research prior to booking as this is not a party location). If you’re after rest and relaxation, this is absolutely perfect. Everything was perfect.

The staff was incredible, led by the wonderful owner and her son Bastien, whose warmth and kindness made our stay truly special. The care and love, especially towards our child, were beyond anything we’ve experienced while traveling. Every wish was met with a smile, the food was outstanding, and the atmosphere unforgettable. We missed this place the moment we left and wished we could come back right away. Truly one of a kind, hard to find anything better.

• jolie (10/5): Dreamy and can’t fault it - The property really is lovely and in such a secluded spot - also the size of the beach for the property makes you feel you have it to yourself. Pool was fab - bigger than it looks on the pictures. We loved our room which was the hexagonal one and they are both beach front and the views when you wake from the bed are just beautiful. The staff are so lovely and Wan was great at looking after us. Our 5 year old loved it and there is a very special pet Heng the Otter who is such a character. Loved the kayaks and paddle boards to use for free. Nothing but be aware you probably need a bike to get to anywhere else. There is a superb small restaurant on the street up the road called Simple Life… some of the best Thai food we ate and also Ganesh restaurant further along the road around 25 min walk on the beach - incredible food.

Free stuff for the beach like SUP or kayak. We ate everyday at the restaurant and everything was delicious. Breakfast included is a la carte, you can choose from the menu. Amazing view from the terrace and from the room. Wi fi works great. They helped us even with the transfer from Krabi Airport and Ao Nang. Don’t be afraid to choose it. .
• Michelle (10/5): Gorgeous beachfront resort - highly recommend. - A gorgeous resort right on the beach. We had Lotus Villa which is about 10m from the sea at high tide and you can hear the waves at night. Pool was lovely!! Villa was spacious and clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Shower amazing!! Staff cleaned the room whilst we had breakfast. Restaurant overlooks the sea and you get stunning views of the sun going down. Kwan and her team do an amazing job making sure their guests have everything they need, especially the two young men that tend the property all day and then serve in the restaurant all evening. Food is all delicious. WiFi great. Free paddle boards and kayaks to use which are brilliant for going out in the bay. Deckchairs and hammocks dotted along the shoreline. Motorbikes available for rent. We loved everything.

• Thomas (8/5): Dejligt og afslappet med god mad og enormt venligt personale. - Banyan Bay Villas er et fantastisk sted med meget sødt personale. Selve Koh Jum er en meget stille ø med fantastisk natur. Desværre var myggenettet ikke rigtig godt. Det passede simpelthen ikke til sengen. Derudover var der en del hunde (ikke vilde hunde) og katte. Kattene var meget nærgående og den ene hund en smule hidsig.

Ein absolutes Juwel, das man am liebsten für sich behalten möchte. Es ist preislich etwas gehoben, aber letztlich jeden Baht wert.
• Vincent (7/5): Séjour sympa mais déçu de l’île - Nous avons aimé son emplacement et la plage. La dame est très gentille. Malheureusement il n’y a que ça de bien sûr cette île… Ce que je n’ai pas aimé ce sont les prix. Sachant qu’il n’y avait rien sur l’île a part des lieux abandonnés ou jonchés de déchets. Nous avons été obligé de manger au restaurant midi et soir et à la fin l’addition est salée. Enfin, au début du séjour on me montre un frigo avec des bouteilles d’eau et des bières. Et à la fin du séjour, on me fait payer le minibar… en me disant que j’a consommé 7 bières alors que pas du tout. Je veux bien payer mais il suffirai de mettre un panneau dans la chambre en disant que les bières au frigo sont payantes. Dans ce cas là je ne les aurait pas bu.
• Sanaé (10/5): absolutely amazing - My best friend and I came to spend about 4 days in Banyan Bay Villas. It was the best moment of our trip ! First of all, the place looks like heaven : the view from the restaurant on the sea and the sunset is breathtaking. It was so nice to have breakfast and diner here everyday. Our house was very pretty, the bed were confortable. The view from our little terrace was great : beautiful plants, the pool, the beach… It was really great to have a private beach : we went snorkeling (we only saw starfishes but still), we did some paddle… the beach itself is great : it was really funny and entertaining to see the shells moving on the sand, the crabs running… there were so many ! We even saw lots of shells on the way to our house, some shells eating in the cat bowl… The sea was very quiet and calm, this was great to bathe. The pool is very nice. We even had the chance to saw some monkeys coming near our house ! Now, let’s talk about the food : it was the best we had here in Thailand (on our roadtrip from Bangkok to Phuket). I highly recommend the pineapple fried rice, it was absolutely delicious. But most importantly, the people working here were so nice to us. We were extremely well welcomed : people here were so friendly and nice. It was a pleasure to see them every morning and evening. It might seem difficult to come to Koh Jum, but it is actually quite simple to come with a boat (ask directly for a boat to take you there instead of booking it on 12go.asia because it’s cheaper), and it is so worth it. 
We had a wonderful stay, and want to thank the whole team of Banyan Bay Village for the great moment we had here. nothing. everything was really great.

• Ron (9/5): Pareltje om te verblijven op Koh Jum - Heerlijk rustig op Koh Jum, personeel ontzettend aardig en service gericht. Eten erg goed, ontbijt wordt extra bij geserveerd waar nodig en kwaliteit is erg goed. Ook diner is super wat hier uit de keuken komt. Huisdieren op deze locatie wat onze kinderen erg leuk vonden. Samen met de huis otter en de vele apen die we hebben gezien een prachtige laatste bestemming die wij iedereen zouden aanraden. Ook de excursie naar de Phi Phi eilanden erg goed geregeld vanuit de accomodatie. Niets, prachtig verblijf.

• Basile (10/5): Exceptional - We had a great stay at Banyan Bay Villas. The island itself is beautiful, with a long quiet beaches, authentic villages, and relatively few tourists. The hotel has its own private beach, which looks especially beautiful during high tide, this is the best time for swimming, as the water is quite far out during low tide. There's also a pool right by the beach, which is a good alternative when the tide is low. The hotel’s restaurant offers a stunning view over the sea and beach, and the food was excellent throughout our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the two friendly dogs added to the relaxed atmosphere. Our room was spacious and the terrace directly on the beach was definitely a highlight. We really enjoyed our time here! If I had to mention something, the room wasn’t spotless, but it was still clean enough and didn’t affect our overall comfort.

• Helen (9/5): A week in paradise! - The location was fantastic. The island is peaceful and very clean. Banyan Vllas is right on the beach with a small but well maintained and clean pool. The beach is pebbly but we were supplied with complimentary dive shoes which were essential. Everyone is so warm and welcoming and they cant do enough for you! Organisation of transfers and trips is exceptional. You are very close to nature in the rooms which has its pros but also its down side if you dont like the occassional bug 😀

The island has very few cars and we were able to rent a motorbike with side rickshaw from Banyan Bay Villas, allowing the three of us to visit the rest of the island and discover local restaurants since the hotel is located in the quieter northern part of the island. The owner was present each day, has excellent language skills and was very helpful. It was a beautiful traditional style 2 bedroomed villa with lots of gaps for air to circulate around the doors and windows and although we worried about mosquitos, we were not bitten overnight

• Sophia (10/5): Relaxing, indulgent and peaceful - All of the staff were wonderful, helpful and welcoming. The ladies in the kitchen/reception made such a fuss of our little boy which he absolutely loved! Language barrier was not an issue for us at all. There is a staff member who speaks English, French and Thai but we got on just fine when he wasn’t around. The food in the restaurant was delicious especially to Tom Yum soup and breakfast omelette. The view from the bedroom was amazing and I liked the little touches like the mini bar being restocked, the beach shoes we were given and the box of toys and floats available for our son.
