Elisabeta-Lucia (5/5): Disappointed - The location is very beautiful that's why we choose it in the first place and didn't disappoint. The pictures you see on Booking.com are not consistent with what you find there. The living room does not have a sofa that you can sit on during the day (at least that's the case in apartment 6), from the pictures displayed on the site you get the impression that all apartments have a terrace or balcony which is not true (it was my mistake that I did not look very carefully but that does not excuse the deception with the pictures presented). The kitchen and the utensils in the kitchen are dirty, the dishwasher is full of rust and dirty, the glasses were actually stuck to the cupboard, the water has no pressure in the bathtub and the washing machine makes such loud noises that you cannot sit in the apartment when it is turned on. Overall, just for the location of the apartment which is beautiful, it is not worth 620 euros for 3 nights.

Yulin (5/5): I was not satisfied with this stay. Not a good place to stay for the family with small kids. - The location is great. I probably got the worst room of this property. Most the pictures on the Booking.com look so nice and cozy. In the room I got, there is no couch or something that we could sit on comfortably, which it was really difficult for my kids. The showerhead is not working so well, so it is impossible to wash hair. The plates and the pot are not clean. One of the pleated blinds is broken. We asked the company to fix it, but they didn't come.

Inoltre le comunicazioni tramite booking dei gestori sono molto dettagliate e precise (informazioni su check-in / check-out, codici delle chiavi, eccetera. Niente in particolare, l'unico consiglio è di rinnovare la foto dell'entrata principale che inviano per spiegare come si entra. L'entrata è stata rinnovata e non è più attuale.

Vanuit het appartement mooi zicht op het grote reuzenrad De temperatuur in het appartement was niet te regelen, waardoor het geen comfortabele temperatuur was (koud). Dit mede omdat er veel koud langs de ramen naar binnen kwam.

Kath (10/5): No 1 Appartment - We loved appartment 1 .It had 2 large bedrooms with 3 single beds in each.The kitchen was in the corridor between the bedrooms .Not much room but wasn't a problem as we only used the toaster. No air con which was a bit of a problem as yesterday hit 30 degrees. Lovely large bathroom with bath and shower. The appartments are in a great location on the old town square but the noise may cause some concern with guests. Also one little thing no hairdryer in the room

Franziska (5/5): Extremer Lärm, dunkel, minimale Ausstattung - Die Lage war an sich gut, Ausstattung war in Ordnung aber extrem minimal kaum Tageslicht, da im Innenhof und Erdgeschoss, war nicht so wie auf den Bildern dargestellt, kein Blick auf den Fluss. Extremer Lärm aufgrund der nahen Diskotheken, der Bass lässt das gesamte Appartement vibrieren und das bis 4 uhr morgens. Auf den Wänden waren auch zerquetschte Insekten der Vormieter, die beim Putzen niemand entfernt hat.

I would have gone to another location if i knew. Also, the door was extremely difficult to open. After spending over 15 minutes trying, a neighbor showed us how to do it. Instructions would be good

Diana (6/5): Great location but had its issues. - Location Broken sliding doors, toilet lock broken, didn't match picture, why only beds in living room? No frying pan or wooden spoon, lots of noise in building, broken shower door replaced with an encroaching shower curtain.
Borremans (8/5): Above average location in the middle of Old Town for a very reasonable price. - Location in Old Town for a very reasonable price. Curtains are in bad shape. Could not properly be closed and cannot very well keep out daylight in the morning.

We were forced to make several phone calls which went to voicemail, we sent a message and eventually got a response and obtained the codes verbally. Whilst this was going on it was raining And as we had no access to the building we were forced to wait a long time in the rain and cold with our luggage. Which was a very bad start. 2. The Sliding doors did not work /slide all broken, 3. The main bedroom was dangerous as it’s falling off its hinges. Despite our repeated messages the door was not fixed in the entirety of our stay, so therefore no privacy at all for 7 days and nights we are 3 different families! 4.Sliding door to bathroom not fixed either in entirety of stay. 5. Shower filter not fixed in shower. 6. We had confirmation from you before we arrived that all doors would be fixed as we saw many reviews saying doors all broken, therefore we requested in advance you confirmed it would be fixed and it wasn’t! 7. TV not working for 4 days wok man fixed it Friday. 8. Toilet extractor not working not acceptable! 9. Plug in bathroom sink filter missing Workman in apartment on Friday afternoon. 10. Big mirror in bathroom Broken away in bottom left hand corner. 11. Radiator in front room not working, freezing cold apartment! 12. The hot water in the kitchen was intermittent at first no water for several days! There was no plug for the kitchen sink. 13. No side light by beds in lounge. Unpractical! 14. There was Nowhere to sit in evening as no sofa or comfy seating. 15. Nowhere to hang clothes or drawers for clothes we lived out of suitcase. 16. Main room light flickering and no side light for beds in main room. 17. The pillow in the main bedroom is yellow and the sheets not clean! 18. There were Bed bugs in bed, dirty bedding, found some blood on sheet! 19. Beds undersized for adults! 20. We had workmen in and out and still no doors fixed just the plug in bathr

Not for more than 4 guests. - Excellent location: Situated in the heart of Düsseldorf old town, close to shops, restaurants, and public transportation. Convenient check-in: Clear information provided prior to the stay. Well-equipped kitchen: Includes essential appliances like a toaster, microwave, and coffee maker. Inadequate dishware and cutlery despite a large kitchen space. Bedroom issues: First bedroom: Four single beds are cramped in a small space with two steps down. There’s no room for luggage or even a proper walkway for four people. Second bedroom: Three single beds with tiny bedside tables and lamps, but no outlets. The mattresses seem old and sag, causing discomfort and the feeling of sliding off the bed. The small bed size makes sleeping difficult. Limited amenities: Only one small wardrobe for seven guests. Bathroom: Combined bathroom and toilet with a small elevated shower, which is unsuitable for elderly guests. Sharing one bathroom with seven people would be a significant challenge. Dining area: The dining table with eight chairs is comfortable but cramped against the kitchen wall. The TV is positioned directly above the inner seats, making it easy to bump into when standing up. The TV is non-functional, with no internet connection or working channels. Rack of communal relaxation space like living room with sofa.

Paul (7/5): Great Location, great value for money - Fantastic location, property was cleaned and reasonably well equipped. No AC but not an issue with the weather we had! There was no hairdryer which was a real problem for a travelling lady! The Sliding doors are on their last legs and potentailly dangerous, there is no lift and its four flights of stairs which may be an issue to some. There was no sofa so the TV was kinda pointless.

楷庭 (4/5): Probably not going back again - Good location The first room they gave us has a couple of problems 1. The dishwasher smells bad. 2. The floor in the room is not clean and there is a lot of dust. 3. Found the drink left by the previous guest. 4.the television isn’t working 5. The tabletop and kitchen are very clean, and there is garbage in the drainage holes. 6. The bread machine and water heater are dirty. 7.There is quite a difference between the actual room and the photos on Booking. Therefore they offer us a room switch with some upgrading charge,so we got a better room. And it’s quite inconvenient for those who have huge luggage,they don’t have a elevator.

Mohamad (3/5): I would say 4/10 for the location, otherwise would have been 1/10. - The location in central, but at the same time it’s very loud and there is no sound isolation in the apartment, in addition to that one of the windows couldn’t be closed for the whole stay. The apartment is not thermally isolated, so we were cold in the first day due to inadequate heating, thank god the weather got better in the other days and we didn’t heating anymore, but still was not comfortable. There is a gap between the floor and the bathroom door, so there is no enough privacy in the bathroom. The door handles are very loose and there fell on the ground repeatedly waking up the people who were sleeping at that time. The beds and pillows were ok at maximum. The apartment was not really clean as we arrived.

Michael (10/5): When I return to Dusseldorf in future I would like to stay here again. Very impressed. - Location was fantastic. Perfect for Altstadt and the river area. Very safe and very close to all the bars and restaurants. Apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Comms with the hosts were great, they let us know check-in details the day before we arrived, and instructions for check in were simple and easy. Nothing to dislike. I was very impressed.

Heather (1/5): I would not recommend reserving any properties from Tolstov. - Only thing we liked about this property was the location. Apartment was on the 4th floor with no elevator-I don’t recall reading this in the description. Rented a 2-room apartment with 1-large double and 2nd-3 twins, and a seating/living room. When we arrived we ended up in a one bedroom apartment with 1-room (2-twins), 2nd room was 3 twins but it was 3 twins set up in the living room with a tv and small side table that was open with the kitchen. I did call and question however they suggested we move the two twins together to make the double (we did this and the the beds were to different heights), and they stated the pictures on the booking show several apartments. They also proceeded to state that none of the apartments have a large double even though the deluxe (this is what I rented) states otherwise. My opinion is that the listing is misleading and/or dishonest. I would also mention that the apartment was dirty, the shower head fell from the wall (they did offer for someone to come fix it right away) and we couldn’t shut the window to buffer the noise from the street due to the way it was installed.
Jolene (8/5): Bring ear plugs and you’ll have an amazing stay :) - The beds were comfortable, apartment was small but clean and had everything you need. 5 min walk from the train station & lots of bars and restaurants around! It was extremely loud at night (cause of all the night life I guess) and made it impossible to sleep without ear plugs :(
Dom (8/5): Excellent apartment - perfect for the Old Town. - I was traveling alone and wanted an place in the Old Town so this apartment was just what I was looking for as the location is excelelnt for the river, the Old Town and it is about a 5-8 minute walk from the underground and about a 30-40 minute walk to the train station (I don't walk very fast). The apartment has two bedrooms, one with four single beds and one with two single beds and a sofa. There is a nice kitchen, I only used the kettle so I can't comment on anything else. There is a table and some chairs in the kitchen. The bathroom was fine with a good shower. Despite it's location it was very quiet. As a solo traveler looking for a place to sleep in the Old Town there is nothing to not like.

We had no problems while we stayed here. just a little noisy outside, but it was a busy time of the year (Christmas) so we were expecting it.

Amanda (10/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the convenience for Shops and places to eat was great - The location of the apartment was excellent, it is situated in the Old Town and met our needs brilliantly, The apartment was spacious and the beds were really comfy, the instructions given to access we really good and we found the property no problem in the dark. An apartment manual with how to use the central heating system would have been handy, however we did work it out in the end after locating the thermostat, we did arrive really late and it was cold.
