- Alyshia (8/5): It was WONDERFUL!!!!! - I didn't try the breakfast but the staff is always very nice and helpful. The rooms are very sound proof you cant hear anything inside of your room. Check-in is very easy and so is check-out. The location is great you have any type of food you want and can have it delivered walmart is very close and so is Ingles. We go down there just to stay and have a break from the house for a night or two. We will definitely will be back!!! I honestly can't think of anything that I didn't like. They do need to update somethings like TV's bathtubs and maybe put a toaster in the room or a coffee pot!

- Victor (5/5): Winter Trxan traveler - The bed was very comfortable. Had hot water for our shower and tub. The drains were very slow. Toilet didn't flush unless you held it down. Carpet bad .You get what you pay for as you don't know until you check in.

Rather worn but clean. Bed very soft, no support. The only food provided for breakfast other than what was in a vending machine, was Twinkies :-)

- kathaleen (2/5): Worst hotel in my life - This hotel is in desperate need of a remodel and new furnishings. Mold in drawers and on carpet also holes in carpet. Air conditioner vents also had mold on them. Owners were very disrespectful of customers. No cover on bathroom vent open electrical wire in bathroom. Were told that we were given a remodeled room. Would expect some kind of refund as this room wasnt worth 5 dollars a night . We spent 250 per night. There description on your site is a lie! Towels were basically rags couldnt even get ice. We also had to vacuum the room before we stayed. Pretty pathetic. Also cleaned the ac vents. Also used 2 cans of disinfectant spray to be able stand the smell in the room

- Free (8/5): - The room was actually very clean, except for the carpet which was really nasty, so bad that we had to wash our feet before getting in the bed. The hair dryer didn't work and we couldn't figure out how to to operate the TV. Overall, we we enjoyed our stay.
- Lana (3/5): At least there weren't bugs! - There were no bugs and the pool was very nice. First of all it's not a pet friendly hotel, it is a hotel with pet friendly rooms. The room we wanted was not available to stay in with my pet. They don't tell you this until you show up. Then, every piece of bedding in the smoking room had cigarette burns. Also the carpet was sticky. And the staff was kinda methed up - from check in to check out to housekeeping. Housekeeping started knocking on my door 45 minutes before check out and barged in after my husband left and I was still packing up to start stripping the bed. All of the staff were jittery and methy, moving around and talking a lot but not getting much done, ya know. This was an impromptu stay on a spur of the moment road trip - just a step or 2 above sleeping in my car. Didn't expect much based on the pics and price but still felt wildly ripped off.

The only thing I could say was that the laundry room and ice machine were not working properly during this stay but that's not a huge deal.

- Clemens (2/5): A Dump from the past. - nothing. Room stank from old, old carpet. Linens had cigarette holes in them and were not clean. We also found pubic hair on the bed. Chair had a mold stain on it and furniture was worn. Please don‘t stay there if you can help it.
- Jessica (9/5): For the price and location it's ExcellenT. - The room was very big, with all the necessities and our bathroom door got stuck and the guy basically ran down and fixed it immediately. The room was clean and so was the pool. Also very convenient to be somewhere new and be right in the center of town near everything. The room did smell a little musty, like damp basement but it has carpet and a pool so I believe that's all it was.

- Wanda (9/5): Superb - Newly renovated room at Traveler's Inn. Fresh, clean. King Room is spacious with 2 sinks, refrigerator and micro. Near grocery store, restaurants, Sycamore Shoals Park and Roan Mtn. Bed was comfortable. Plan to return again to Elizabethton and would stay here again. A/c kept the room comfortable in our summer heat. Front desk check in wss easy and manager was friendly. Clothes hangers would be nice.

- Dock (4/5): Welcome to the 70’s rooms - The pictures on the website did not match the rooms. I ordered 3 rooms. The front desk clerk would not look me in the eye and appeared fidgety. The ice machine was broken and breakfast was not served at 6 like the website says. The door remained locked. Was told it was at 7 am. This was on a Sunday morning at 6:15. All of the rooms were as follows: It was decorated in the 70’s which is cool. Looked as if the paint inside the rooms were good. Newer windows and on the exterior around the windows, the tape hadn’t been removed all the way. The beds were clean and comfortable. Bathtub was dirty and with hair. Has a musky smell. No bedbugs. My room did not have an extra bolt but the other 2 did. One of the rooms had the refrigerator on the floor with the carpet cut out in the shape of the refrigerator and you can see the floor was wet and rotted. The people that was hanging around appeared shady.

- Leslie (3/5): Booked room unavailable, I paid for a different room, got $20 back as a refund for Jacuzzi room paym - I booked this place specifically for the Jacuzzi suite. I paid online the day before we were to arrive. I didn't get free cancellation because it was the next day. Long story short, Jacuzzi room was out of order, couldn't be used. I paid for another room. Bookings com gave $20 back for the cancellation that wasn't my fault. Why let me book that room if it's not available then blame customer for a cancellation. If the room I booked through the Bookings. com not be available then don't take the money I paid, give me the full amount I paid.

- WARREN (4/5): - We stayed for four nights. Towel, wash clothes only changed out once. We went to the local Walmart and bought additional towels. The toilet would not flush. The chain from the flush handle to the to the rubber flapper was not attached as the chain hook had rusted out. The tv remote did not work. Pulled the cover off the remote to find corroded batteries. The room overall was very dirty looking with the carpet and general condition very "tired".

- Snow (4/5): Disappointing - I like the location, the staff was kind, and the price is exceptional. The property itself is immaculate. There's a nice pool that's very clean. A lot of locals live here. The rooms are filthy. The tub/shower doesn't drain, The floor is filthy stained carpet. The sink where you wash your face and brush your teeth was dirty, stained, and also didn't drain. The bed had stains in the sheets. I pulled back the cover to look at the mattress and it's old and dirty. I would not stay here again. They need some serious upgrades. I felt like I needed a bath after I left.

It was nasty, it smelled horrible just walking in the door. there was hair in the bathtub, & the sheets were stained, there was holes in the bathroom door & a hole in the bathroom ceiling where the fan or light fixture was missing. The bed was dirty, & had cigarette burns on the covers. I had to go out & buy clean sheets & a mattress protector to keep from laying in the filthy bed & had to buy bleach & Lysol cleaners to sanitize & disinfect the room.

- Teresa O (10/5): We love this place! - We stayed here because we had no electricity or water at our home in Roan Mountain. But I will say that this has not been our first stay at Travelers Inn. We stay here a lot and we love it! Front desk people and housekeeping are so wonderful extremely Pleasant and helpful. The rooms are clean but they are dated but you can't beat the price!

No other hotel we have ever stayed at has EVER been so courteous, especially during a time when so many people are looking for a place to stay due to the recent Northeast Tennessee Flooding. We greatly appreciate their hospitality. The room was surprisingly big, and had a wonderful layout. Some modern/cosmetic upgrades, and it could be such a beautiful place. Our only concern was the cleanliness of the room. You could clearly see that it had not been cleaned very well, and it would have been nice if they had of used bleach on the linens & towels so they would smell better. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay, and the bed was more comfortable than most other hotels we have stayed at. We would definitely consider staying there again in the future. We thank the Travelers Inn for their kindness.
- Rhonda (1/5): Worst experience ever - Absolutely nothing My check in date was September 30th at 3pm today is October 2nd no maid service at all will not provide more towels unless you carry your dirty ones down from the day i checked in they were beyond awful i couldn't understand and more i couldn't get what she was saying now this is check in the lady at the front desk got meaner and meaner they were asked at least for towels and toilet paper and they said they could not provide any of that also trash bag's until today i had to go out and buy my own toilet paper for almost a $300 for only 3 nights and i had to walk back to the office today and finally got toilet paper i asked for towels again and i was informed if i would bring my dirty towels back down they would give me clean towels i then stated i do not work here and i also asked for maid service and i was told they were busy and they would get to me oh it's getting better no maid service the whole time here only have towels when you check in and they have been asked twice counting today and all i got was a roll of toilet paper no maid service no towels i guess until i bring the dirty one's down that she said to do so i can receive more towels and im very upset kinda trying to explain without sounding unappreciated but when i checked in i was shaking like a leaf barely kept it together until i could get out the door with a room key 🗝 and it took me a little while to collect myself after that the room is disgusting 🤢 i do not believe anything was cleaned in this room bedding included do you get my frustration so recap check in was beyond awful coming in the room it was just getting worse no maid service no clean towels if that's what you want to call them i have bag's of trash in my room because i do not know where the dumpster is the and im going to have to walk down at 7:33pm on October 2nd with my dirty towels from check in i don't know about you but i like to bath everyday and i absolutely upset and i have been sending emails since...
