• Chew (9/5): Best staffing, especially Soumi. Very sweet, accommodating, above and beyond. Very nice riad. - Beautiful boutique riad. Our room has high ceiling with beds upstairs for the kids. Soumi was incredibly accommodating to all our needs, above and beyond. Quiet location. Nice rooftop views of Fes. The location is just inside one of the Medina gates. Not too far to walk, but you may need a porter if you have big luggage.

• Dario (10/5): Wonderful holiday family in Fes - Very nice place, excellent booking experience and very easy communication with the owner. Special thank to Ayoub, a fantastic guy! He took care about us from breakfast till late night, always available to provide us whatever we needed, including escorting us from the Riad to another restourant when we had the need. I strongly recommend Riad Batchisarai. We will definitely be back there next time we will visit Fes I cannot think about anything at all

Notre chambre était parfaite , grande, spacieuse, la décoration sublime, raffinée, et il y avait de petites attentions dans la salle de bain tels que le coton démaquillant et les cotons tiges. Le manque d'insonorisation et l'absence de miel au petit déjeuner.

We had a room right at the top - many stairs for children - so better with families in the lower rooms. Our shower had some issues and slight smell of damp in the room.

Dominique organisierte den Transfer vom Bahnhof und schickte Hassan, der uns zum Hotel begleitete und uns mit dem Gepäck half. Er vermittelte uns auch eine wunderbare Reiseführerin, Karima, die  fließend Deutsch sprach und uns durch das Labyrinth der Medina von Fes führte. Das Riad selbst ist wunderschön eingerichtet, sehr elegant und stilvoll. Unser Zimmer war stets sauber, das Bett komfortabel und das Frühstück, das in dem wunderschönen Ambiente serviert wurde, köstlich. Dominique und das gesamte Personal waren unglaublich freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Wir empfehlen den Riad Batchisarai vom Herzen und werden ihn bestimmt noch besuchen.

• Amy (10/5): Magnificent riad with an awesome staff - We received communication prior to our stay and responses were prompt. We were greeted very warmly by Soumaya with tea and cookies. She went over the map with us and showed us around the riad. The riad is very beautiful and the courtyard is magnificent. We met the owner, Dominick, who was very friendly and helpful. They prepared an early breakfast for us for our morning excursion. When our guide to the souk did not pan out, they helped us find another guide. They also provided us with a porter to bring our luggage to the taxi. I highly recommend this Riad and would definitely stay here again. No complaints!

Jawad in particular went above and beyond to make sure our stay was excellent. The Riad itself was beautiful, breakfast was delightful, the rooms were some of the largest I stayed in during my trip. Pretty large rooms for a Riad. I can't say it enough, we had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. I disliked nothing.

• Youssef (9/5): Calm and elegant Riad with wonderful staff! - Beautiful Riad. Located near the main street of the Medina (Talaa Kbira). Medrasa attarine, Alkaraouiyyine (oldest university in the world) and saffarine square were a walking distance from the Riad. The Riad itself is beautiful. The host and staff are friendly, welcoming and go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The cooking class with Fadoua was a beautiful experience. The rooftop was open but did not seem to be prepared. Perhaps because of the few raining moments. The view from the rooftop is amazing.

• TwoFGCrew (10/5): Perfect Fes stay - The Riad itself was stunning. Recently renovated with a fabulous eye for detail. The room was exceptionally comfortable with a good shower. The staff were lovely. Very happy to help, answer any question and ensure the stay went smoothly. They are a good team with lots of smiles and laughter that give the Riad a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The location was perfect a 6 min walk from one of the gates, in a quiet area but within 4min walk of the bustling areas of the madina and restaurants. There is even a nice roof terrace to relax and enjoy the sun and views across the medina. Highly recommend this Riad run expertly by Dominique and his lovely team. Nothing
• Alexander (9/5): Hervorragendes Riad in Fes - absolute Empfehlung - Sehr freundliches und bemühtes Personal, auch der Besitzer des Riads selbst kümmert sich hingebungsvoll um seine Gäste. Das Zimmer ist großzügig und gut ausgestattet (Heizlüfter für kältere Tage). Frühstück war sehr gut, Honig haben wir auf Nachfrage sofort bekommen. Von der Lage her ist das Riad am äußeren Rand der Medina ruhig gelegen, man kann sich aber auch schnell in den Trubel der engen Gassen stürzen. Das Riad organisiert auch Führungen und Taxis. Letzteres hat bei uns im Falle des Transfers zum Flughafen leider nicht geklappt, da der Taxifahrer einen familiären Notfall hatte. Die 25€ für den Transfer haben wir aber sofort zurückbekommen. Alles bestens😊

Quant à Mouad,, il a été d'une extraordinaire gentillesse , plein d'attentions et de bons conseils toute la durée de notre séjour. C'est grâce à lui que nous avons apprécié pleinement notre séjour à Fez. Merci encore! Fonctionnement constamment défaillant du thermostat de la douche!
• Anastasiia (10/5): I'd be happy to recommend this riad to my friends! - Everything was great! The riad is located near a huge public parking lot. The breakfast is very tasty, and all the staff are nice and hospitable! The room is clean and beautifully decorated. It's not critical, but there was no hot water in the bathroom sink, although there was in the shower.
• Paulo Freitas (10/5): Wonderful, but showering is problematic - The decoration. The riad is wonderful, you feel like you are in a 13th century madrassa. Way more beautiful than the pictures. The staff is also nice and Dominique, the owner, receives you with a warm wellcome and explain the main atractions in Fes. The bathrrom. There is no door in the shower box, so the floor gets floded after the shower. Water temperature is also inconsistent. Once I finished my shower with cold water. In general, I would deduct 1 or 2 points for such problems, but the riad is so beautiful that I kept a 10.
• Gayathri (10/5): - Riad Batchisarai was a wonderful place to stay. The staff were incredibly accommodating and communicated very well with us throughout our stay. They were also very helpful in recommending places to visit, which made our experience even better. The riad itself was very clean, including the bathroom, and it came with plenty of amenities. Batchisarai is also beautifully designed, with a very aesthetic feel and stunning rooftop views that really added to the charm of the stay. Mahmood and Jaoud were both wonderful hosts—kind, attentive, and welcoming. Payment is made at the accommodation, either by cash, PayPal, or bank transfer, which worked perfectly fine for us. Highly recommended!

Ein ganz besonderes Lob gilt dem Gastgeber Dominique: Er war außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und immer hilfsbereit. Man hat sich sofort willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Bei Fragen oder Anliegen war er jederzeit erreichbar und hat sich wirklich Mühe gegeben, meinen Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Mais ce qui fait vraiment la différence, c'est l'accueil. L'endroit est donc très calme et la décoration magnifique. Notre hôte et toute l'équipe est très accueillante et prête à donner des conseils. Jolie terrasse avec une belle vue sur la médina. Le petit déjeuner est servi dans le patio intérieur du Riad.

Appena arrivati Dominique ci è venuto a prendere alla porta della Medina. Arrivati nel Riad ci ha offerto acqua, tè e biscotti mentre ci ha spiegato nel dettaglio tutte le attrazioni principali e la storia di Fes, appuntando tutto su una mappa fantastica che ci ha regalato. La colazione molto buona, varia e abbondante, gustata nella terrazza con una magnifica vista. Sia il proprietario che il personale sono stati sempre disponibili e cordiali, rispondendo a qualsiasi nostra richiesta o domanda. La camera splendida con bagno spazioso e aria condizionata funzionante. Consigliamo vivamente il soggiorno in questo Riad.

• Christopher (10/5): A must go to - Jouad was the best hotel worker I have every met. He helped us get our bags to and from the taxi (15 min walk), the hotel made us a home cooked breakfast, gave us great recommendations on places to go and we was struggling to get train tickets we was going to just get them there but he helped us out with the tickets at 10 at night. This hotel from start to end was amazing and thank you guys for everything.

He also helped us book an oficial guide to do a tour of the medina and jewish quarters, which was very nice. Also, the breakfast was delicious and filling, served in the terrace of the riad, with a wonderful view of Fes.

Ils ont été parfait à tout point de vue. Nous les remercions chaleureusement. Le riad est très bien placé pour se déplacer dans la médina et donne sur une rue très calme pour se reposer. Il est également bien situé si vous êtes véhiculé puisqu'un parking est à 5 mn de marche. Il est également aisé d'aller dans la ville nouvelle en taxi depuis le riad si vous n'avez pas envie de conduire. La chambre était magique. Nous n'avions jamais séjourné dans un endroit si charmant avec tout le confort nécessaire. La propreté est irréprochable. C'est certain que si on a la chance de revenir à Fès, on reviendra ici. It’s a beautifully renovated riad located on the edge of the Medina, which we found to be the perfect balance—close enough to experience the charm of the old city, but far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. If you're driving, it’s just a 5-minute walk from the nearest parking lot, which made things really convenient for us. Like anywhere in the Medina, the alleyways might feel a little intimidating at first, but we always felt completely safe. Once inside, the riad is truly stunning—you can really see the love and care that went into every detail of the renovation. Dominique was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even more special. Breakfast was always delicious and a lovely way to start each day. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would absolutely recommend this beautiful spot to anyone visiting Fez.

The riad is located close to Rue Tala’a Kebira and we found our way easily. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

• Jia (10/5): One of the best Riads not just in Fes, in Morocco! - This Riad is absolutely beautiful! It’s one of the best Riads we stayed in Morocco, very well kept, better than the average standard. We had the best room with lots of windows, spacious. We can tell they are very thoughtful people as they put a large electric radiator in the room and a small fan heater in the bathroom which is life saving if you come visit Fes in spring with chilly weather in the evening, there is also air conditioning, but we didn’t use it. It was cosy and warm. An extra large bed would be better as the room has enough space. There was no duvet for the single bed, only a thick blanket. That’s not a problem as the room is very warm. Delicious breakfast, very freshly squeezed orange juice, all kind of pancakes, cakes, eggs and fruits, of course the Morocco mint tea. Very quiet Riad with good location. Two male staffs are very friendly and professional. Beautiful view from the rooftop terrace. This is definitely a high standard accommodation in Morocco. Highly recommended and would definitely come back to stay again.

• Jonas (10/5): Beautiful Riad with warm and friendly staff - I really liked the facility with its beautiful ornaments and general look. The rooms are warm and the beds are very comfy and make you really feel at home. Our room had a heater, which was really welcoming during the cold nights in Fes! It’s really an unique feature, not every Riad offers. Most importantly I was surprised by the warm welcome and service Mahmoud gave us, he really is a friendly and responsible person and made our stay one I will never forget. Looking forward to our next visit!
