• Tony (7/5): - Great location in city centre. Breakfast was good. Room was warm in cold winter. My room was non-smoking but it smelled like cigarettes. The walls are thin and you can hear everything from neighbour rooms, hotel lobby and outside to your room.

• Marcus (8/5): Lovely base to explore the pretty town and also visit Ani - The hotel was in a great location with lots of on street parking just outside. The historic centre of Kars was about 5 minutes walk and the area was clean and quiet. Our check in was lovely, polite and helpful and the room was a good size with a desk to work at and even a kettle. Breakfast was ok with lots of items to choose from but nothing was labelled so, as a European, I had no idea what things were. The hotel itself was very clean and quiet and the wifi worked well.
• Kathryn (8/5): Great location and very friendly, helpful staff. - Excellent location, staff very helpful and friendly. It was very hot the day we arrived and there are no fans or aircon but the window did open fully. Obviously they prepare for cold weather.

• Susan (7/5): Comfortable hotel in a quiet location - Comfortable beds. Nice room. Great location. The bus for Ani just around the corner. The breakfast. I asked the Staff where the bus to Ani was and they said no bus get a taxi. When the bus left from just around the corner. Probably the only reason travellers stop in Kars.

• Gabriel (9/5): Superb - The staff were super helpful with organising a trip to Ani for me, even though it was very short notice and I arrived late in the evening. It was the highlight of my time in Turkey.
• Alan (9/5): Ideal location for visiting historical sites. - Ideal location for the city facilities. Breakfast needs catered for. Very clean and comfortable room and bathroom. No on site parking. No evening meal available.
• David (9/5): Superb - This is a good hotel. I had a nice, clean, big room that did not smell of cigarette smoke. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is in a good central location, easy walking distance from the train station and the sites of Kars. It is just around the corner from where the bus goes to Ani ruins. Breakfast was a classic Turkish assortment. I enjoyed my stay here.
• Shyam (7/5): Comfortable rooms at a decent price - Warm and comfortable room with decent breakfast and located close to most major attractions. Most of the staff couldn't speak basic English which made arranging for tours difficult.

• Onur (6/5): - The products used in breakfast was not fresh. I just ate cornflakes. Bathroom was not clean. Way overpriced. I would recommend either staying at a better hotel by paying a little bit more, or saving the money and choosing any other hotel. It won't be worse.

• Matt (2/5): - DO NOT BELIEVE THE PICS ONLINE FOR THIS HOTEL. Do not stay here - we checked in to a dirty room; the hotel is full of smoke (the lobby and the rooms included); hygiene standards are very low. Our sheets were dirty and had not been changed. The bathroom (again dirty) was disgusting to the point of not being operable. Every room is engulfed in smoke. We elected not to stay and left opting to pay for another room as the hotel was so filthy we couldn’t stay.
• talar (8/5): Güzel bir otel... - Otel çarşı-pazara, kaleye yakın konumda. Caddeye cephesi yok. Binaların arka bloğunda. Ancak güzel bir görüntüsü var genel olarak. Odaları da temiz ve konforlu. Otele giriş yaparken, ertesi sabah erken çıkış yapacağımızı ve bize kahvaltılık bir şeyler ayarlamalarını rica ettik. Olumlu yanıt almamıza rağmen, sabah orada bulunan çalışanlar , kahvaltı hazır olmasına rağmen ısrarla bizi yemekhaneye almadılar. Otelin hizmeti ile ilgili tüm güzel izlenimlerimi yok etti

• Verified traveler (4/5): Kötü bir deneyim - Bad Experience - Arkadaşımın oda tuvaletindeki sorun edeniyle çok fazla gürültü vardı. Bu nedenle sorun yaşadık ve dinlenemedik. Kahvaltı açık büfeydi fakat biraz lezzet eksikliği vardı. My friend's room has a problem in bathroom. There was so much noise. We couldn't enjoy the stay. Breakfast was open buffet but the products were not much delicious.

• Marilla (10/5): - This was an excellent boutique hotel that I definitely would recommend to friends. Our room on the second floor was newly renovated, spacious, extremely clean and the bed was really comfortable. The furniture were beautiful and we slept really well. The breakfast was good, although more fresh stuff to put on your bread would have been great (tomatoes, cucumber etc.) but this is not that usual in Turkey anyway. The location is in the middle of everything and you can easily walk to the castle and see all the beautiful Balcan architecture on the way.
