lucy (10/5): Lovely clean, comfortable and quite - The room was very very clean was really pleased. Right in the centre of town near everything you could need. Shower was amazing after wild camping, hiking and the one day of rain. The reception could have told me on arrival you had to book breakfast the day before and the rules etc about your room etc as would have been helpful as it was my first time staying in a hostel so I didn't know what to expect.
Florence (9/5): Propre, calme et très confortable - Lit très confortable et mention spéciale pour la fourniture de couvertures chaudes et moelleuses avec les draps doux et propres. La salle de bain dans le dortoir (filles) était très propre. Il y a beaucoup de matériel de cuisine à disposition et de la place dans les frigos. L’auberge est extrêmement bien tenue.

Kees (7/5): Budgetalternatief voor idiote Sky-prijzen, maar het is wel behelpen. - Mooie locatie, erg rustig. Nette kamer en goede ontvangst. Goede (betaalde) parkeergelegenheid en dichtbij centrum Ontbijt is wel heel erg simpel, de zitkamer erg ongezellig. Haakjes om iets op te hangen ontbreken grotendeels. Een schuivende toiletbril is net erg prettig

Walter (8/5): - Gute Lage, nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß in den pittoresken Hafen. Großer öffentlicher Parkplatz direkt vor der Haustür. Das Zimmer war geräumig, das Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Betten sind gut. Es ist ziemlich hellhörig.

S. (8/5): Leuk hostel met wasmachines - We deelden een badkamer met de kamergenoten. Ging allemaal prima. Het werd ook tussendoor schoongemaakt.Grote keuken voor algemeen gebruik en ruimte in de koelkast is prima. De motoren mstonden op betaald parkeren eneden op de parking. Was een prima plek voor 6 pond per dag. Verder op het plein boven in het dorp mocht je gratis parkeren maar dan moesst je trappen lopen met je bagage. Vanuit het hostel hadden we goed zich op de motoren. Bovendien keken we vanuit de lounge uit over zee en een prachtig uitzicht. Eigenlijk niets.

Luciana (10/5): - Em Skye existem dois hostels (um ao lado do outro). Tive a oportunidade de me hospedar nos dois. Se houver disponibilidade, escolha o Portree. Os quartos e banheiros sao otimos, a cama e confortavel e limpeza e excelente. A localizacao tambem e otima!
Nicolas (8/5): Auberge à recommander sur l'île de Skye - L'emplacement est idéal car un grand parking est juste en face et la vue sur le Loch Portree est magnifique. La chambre était propre et confortable et les pièces communes agréables et bien équipées. Faire étape à Portree est aussi très pratique pour faire les très belles randonnées du nord de l'île (15 min du parking d'Old Man of Storr par exemple)
zingarabis (8/5): Un Hostel muy completo. - El recibimiento, porque nos dio toda la información necesaria sobre el Hostel a la llegada. Las habitación era muy espaciosa y calentita y tenía vistas al mar (os dejo foto) Nosotros estuvimos en una habitación con 2 literas y baño privado, que incluía las toallas. Tenía una cocina para uso común.de los huéspedes toda en acero inoxidable, y muy limpia, y zona de comedor y estar. Lo que no me gustó fue el precio. Ya se que es Skye, pero el precio me parece muy elevado, porque sólo son 2 literas y, además, antes de irte tienes que dejar las fundas de almohadas y edredones retirados.
Benjamin (9/5): Perfect for a stop-over on the Isle of Sky - Wir hatten ein "Vier-Bett-Zimmer" mit eigenem Bad, was absolut gut war für einen Pistop oder sogar länger. Innerhalb des Hostels herrschte eine ruhige und gemütliche Atmosphäre. Der Blick aus dem Fenster auf das Meer/Hafen war sehr schön. Die Kommunikation sowie Empfang waren ausgezeichnet. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen. Wir würden hier definitiv wieder einkehren.

Dado&Silvia (8/5): Bello, ma con qualche cosa da sistemare... - L'ostello si trova in città a Portree che è un'ottima base per visitare tutto. Il prezzo per una camera privata con bagno (considerati i prezzi folli dell'isola di Skye) è abbastanza buono. Gli spazi comuni come la cucina e la sala relax/pranzo sono puliti, curati e ordinati, offrono anche una bella vista mare. La stanza era pulita e dotata dell'occorrente per farsi un caffè. Il personale è gentile. Nonostante in precedenti commenti altri clienti abbiano scritto che la finestra della stanza non si chiudeva il problema permane, perché è successo anche a noi. L abbiamo segnalato, ma ovviamente lì per lì non è che si possa risolvere sul momento, mi auguro che in futuro venga sistemata la finestra rotta prima di riassegnare la stanza, perché nevicava quando ci siamo stati noi e non faceva molto caldo, inoltre la finestra guarda sulla strada principale piuttosto trafficata e molto rumorosa, perciò non poter chiudere è un problema. Il parcheggio esiste solo a pagamento come detto da altri, mettetelo in conto nei costi, ma comunque Skye è carissima ovunque perciò... Alcune stanze sono separate dagli spazi comuni, se piove può risultare un pochino scomodo, tenetelo presente.

Mi è particolarmente piaciuto l'aver trovato tantissimi fascicoli super dettagliati sui trekking da fare sull'isola di skye. La disposizione delle camere con la sala comune e cucina. Bisognava uscire fisicamente da una struttura, fare due rampe di scale totalmente all'esterno per cambiare ambiente. Non comodo nella stagione invernale considerato il freddo e la pioggia.

Les bruits de pas provenant de l’étage supérieur sont très présents et peuvent rapidement devenir gênants, surtout lorsque les occupants marchent lourdement. Ubicació cèntrica.En el cas de la meva habitació, era espaiosa i el bany molt correcte.Ambient tranquil i agradable. Personal molt amable. Tot i que les instal·lacions m'han fet sentir molt còmode la insonorització de les habitacions per poder descansar és nul·la. En el meu cas, tenia una habitació a sobre i cada vegada que algú caminava semblava que fos un hipopòtam. Se sentien tots els sorolls.

MariaRM24 (7/5): - Las instalaciones están muy bien, cocina comunal increíble con todo lo necesario, sala común para comer y tomar un café con unas vistas bonitas, las camas eran lo más incómodo. Además las habitaciones no están en el complejo de las instalaciones, por lo que si te haces la cena y está lloviendo tienes que mojarte mientras te la llevas a la habitación.

Isi (4/5): Schimmel, hellhörig und Zigarettengeruch - Sehr gute Lage direkt in Porter und vom Essensraum konnte man sogar aufs Wasser gucken. Die Küche war recht sauber. Im Bad war Schimmel und der Wasserhahn hat getropft. Am Fenster war auch Schimmel. Außerdem hat es trotz Rauchverbot im Zimmer nach Zigarette gerochen und man konnte schlecht lüften. Es war extrem hellhörig, man hat vom Flur und aus den anderen Zimmern alles gehört. Das Bett war extrem durchgelegen und man hat die Drähte im Rücken gespürt. Das männliche Personal war sehr grummelig.
