• Gys (4/5): It was bearable but we would not use it again - The location suited my needs. The bed was comfortable and bedding room was clean. As a native from Bethlehem I expected it to be on the same standard it was when I was living there. The pictures on the site did not match the reality and the breakfast and coffee was cold. To such an extend that we did not even eat the second morning. The booking is advertised with secure parking which they have but is very uncomfortable for bigger vehicles like double cabs. The once available, eventhough not comfortable, requires shuttling to the inconvenience of other guests.

• Ruben vw (7/5): Fun experience for a price that fits the stay - The ambiance is lovely, back in time. The staff is really really friendly, the survice fantastic. Beds were really small. The bath was leaking, but they gave as another room! Kidcot not available, what we would have expected from a hotel. The indicated roomsize is incorrect, they must have included the bathroom (which is relatively large).

• Peter (1/5): Shocking. - Sadly, this is an honest report not to damage the reputation of this institution but to encourage them to upgrade the facility. Obviously they can do nothing about the location but it is not in a desirable area😞 The receptionist Joyce was unfriendly uncooperative. Did not even have eye contact when speaking to us. There was NO assistance to help carry our baggage up 2 flights of stairs and we are in our 70's! We had to ask a car guard from the street to assist us. There was not even a jug of water in the room . The bedroom door was unsafe and unsecured. The lighting in the bathroom is shocking! Our main reason for booking at this institution was the access to " delicious" food and we were told at 2pm that we could not order dinner or lunch as the restaurant was closed. Also NO options were offered for dinner, not even a cup of tea! We will not be recommending this accommodation to anyone😞 Refer to the above.!!!!

• Heston (3/5): Unhappy - Booked through bookings.com and breakfast was included however next morning reception insisted that breakfast was not included. I was on a business trip and it caused an inconvenience as I now had to find an alternate place for breakfast. Quite disappointing and annoying. Incompetent workers and bad communication through bookings.com and the hotel. Attached is the screenshot showing breakfast included.

• Petra (8/5): Prima locatie, eenvoudige kamers, goed en gezellig restaurant. - De locatie is perfect en het personeel prima. De kamer is heel eenvoudig. Het restaurant is mooi en gezellig. Je kunt zien dat het een oud hotel is, vergane glorie wat de kamer betreft.
• Ntokozo (5/5): fair but can still improve - the room was okay. the food was good and location perfect the bathroom, the bathtub was too small, when we checked in around 5am in the morning, we went straight to sleep as my fiancé had a work commitment at 8am. when i came back to the hotel after dropping her off at work, the front desk lady said we did not pay and i am not allowed inside, but i have a key with me, i had to disturb my fiancé at work to send me proof of payment before i could get in, i waited +-20 minute to enter just because whoever helped us to check-in did not enter our details in the system. that was a 0/10 for me

• Lindile (7/5): Other than the squicky sounds of the floor, Our stay was superb 👌 - The Breakfast was amazing! And Beyond our expectations, considering the we paid for the accommodation we really didn't expect so much Breakfast... The hotel is in perfect location, at the centre of the town, even the shopping mall is not that far from it The laminate floor has a squicky sound, I would wake up every time when there's a person walking in the corridor or nearby rooms.

There's only a few of them. A small fridge in the rooms will come in handy in a hot weather to keep the drinking water cold.

• Julaetor (5/5): Staff was mostly friendly they know their job and have lovely respect towards guests, i love them - I only liked staff friendliness that's all the bed was way mush old very disappointing of them even the floor was so creaking when you walk on them. i think they really need to renovate their rooms the is a lot that is needed to be done in their place i wont recommend it to anyone if they don't fix it. the other disappointing thing is breakfast was written including breakfast but as soon you order their breakfast is so small is like for a four year old kid.
