• JANE (8/5): Lovely little guest house - Very easy to check in. Great communication from the hosts. Shared bathroom was extremely clean stayed 2 nights and cleaner had come in to clean Fridge in room stocked with water Lovely breakfast selection (continental) felt very safe as lone traveller Smell of marijuana in the property on second night was not nice Appreciate this was not hosts problem but did give me a sense of ill ease

Quick response by staff when the heating didn’t work on the first day. Furniture all a bit wobbly, but did the trick. Very possible to hear noisy neighbours, but lucky they were only there the first night.

• John (8/5): - Close to where I wanted to be which was the town Would of loved a coffee in the morning or just toast with all the facilities there
• Isaac (1/5): - Booking was made by a minor suffering severe mental health issues with the intention of ending their life in the property. This was discovered by the parent within a few hours of the booking and the booking was cancelled. The parent contacted the property to explain the situation and to request that they no longer accept bookings from this minor. It was made very clear that the minor intended to take their own life in the property. The owners refused repeated requests to refund the booking, despite the booking being exempt from their policy as the minor being under 18. Furthermore, they contacted the minor on the day of the booking to ask what time they would be arriving and how they to access the property. The people who run his property are absolutely disgusting. Any decent human would respond with this sympathy, be grateful they were informed so they would not have to deal with the suicide of a teenager in their property and immediately refund. They chose the opposite.
• Mr George (9/5): Comfortable and efficient - Very good value for money and the cleaner was brilliant. Very clean and warm and easily accessible with clear instructions on how to get in and out of the property. I would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to rest their head on a trip to London. Not the proprietors fault, but the other guests were very loud on my second day. Other than that, nothing too bad at all.

• Michelle (7/5): - Venue was very easy to find, and located next to the bus stops. Lots of shops and food places nearby. Staff were contactable at any time we needed them. Staff were very approachable and friendly. The bedding was worn including the sheets and duvet covers. The towels as well as the bedding had holes in them. Room 5 was a three quarter bed not a double that we were expecting. The bed was very uncomfortable and made a lot of noise when tossing and turning which could be heard from downstairs.

Jestem już w pewnym wieku i nie "obejmuję" problemów z obsługą elektroniczną przez telefon. Tym bardziej że posiadam 25 letni telefon bez tych wsztstkich "bajerów". • Sara (4/5): Basic. Own room men’s hostel vibes. Beds really need improving. - The bathrooms were clean and fine. Instructions on how to get in were clear and easy to follow. Bed was old and impossibly creaky and pillows blankets not too nice. Breakfast was unwelcoming and very basic.

The person I spoke to said I look like I was on drugs but I was having treatment in hospital and got locked out and they said I should of left you outside when I told them was dirty room. Bath water was not hot Where it was

Bedding marked & bathroom was clean when we got there ! But did,nt last long other guest users left sink dirty with tissue & fixodent & toilet dirty with poo even though there was a brush to clean the toilet .

Bedding had old washed in stains and was limp. Had to switch fridge off at wall because of loud whirring noise. Could hear scrabbling in the walls that sounded like rodents. Severe road noise - slept with ear plugs. Didn't feel very safe or comfortable as a solo female traveler.

• Evans (3/5): - Proximity to where I had my meeting, otherwise the pictures online are quite deceptive. I didn't know this was not a hotel, rather a house share where people share bathrooms and toilets. The beddings were so old, lots of stains and dirty. The laundry at the backyard was an eyesore. I wouldn't have laid down on those if I had seen the condition at which they were kept or washed. Totally disappointed with my stay. Strangers were talking so loud in the next room where three men were staying.

• Andy (6/5): Ok for a nights stay. - Firstly the location was ideal. We were attending a friend’s party in Enfield. Easy walk in and easy to park. You won’t see the host at the lodgings. Everything is done via key boxes. There are lots of notes telling you of the rules and fines if you don’t meet them. The building is functional but a bit tired. Bear in mind that if the people ninth room next door hog the bathroom you’ll need to cross your legs or drop down to the next floor 😂. The pictures suggest that there’s continental breakfast included. However apparently at weekends there’s not. This you find out on arrival. It should be clearer in the booking process.

• Innes (5/5): Below average due to the above - It was very basic but comfortable The back garden was horrific considering that they charge for a garden facing view. There was a beeping sensor in our room that we had to sort out. We enquired about early checkin and on the day we were asked to pay 15pounds / hour which is excessive since there was nobody on our floor. The armchairs looked worn.

• Jennifer (8/5): - We stayed here for the imagine dragons loom tour which was held at Tottenham hotspur fc. The location was just 0.4 miles walk from the local Enfield Town over ground station and 4 stops on the train from white hart lane. The ground was a very short walk down one street. The accommodation was basic but clean. Couldn’t done with a few more electrical sockets than the extension lead provided in one corner. The room had a fridge and tea coffee facilities. No breakfast provided on a weekend though. There was parking at the front for two cars. The bathroom was shared but opposite our room. Overall for the price of our triple room we would stay again if a concert was in the area. The cleaner was knocking on doors at 9.25 reminding people check out was 10.30. I’m sure I booked late checkout in my original booking but it didn’t appear on the booking and wasn’t required anyway. All in all a great concert and a good experience at Kathleen house.

• Michael (8/5): - The Enfield weather was awful, heavy driving rain when arrived on foot at Kathleen. I kept pressing the locked front door bell to gain entry without a response from within. A contact number was displayed in the front window.i rang the numbers several times getting response number not recognised Being drenched by the rain, I contacted Expedia online and left a message explaining my predicament. I then tried the window same number again answered by lady named April. She was able to run through the key access procedure. I told her in a panic I had just contacted Expedia thinking the property may have been vacated. I apologised to her over my wrong suspicion. My booking was for one night only. I encountered no other guest or member of staff, which felt a bit eerie. On the plus side I was happy with the room and bathroom facilities with no complaints at all. The breakfast was ok considering the budge price stay. Finally the close location to the town centre shops was a bonus.

Nicely presented good sized room, great communication, lovely friendly staff. The bed was super comfy, best nights sleep I've had in years. Large spacious bathroom. Would defo recommend and stay again 🙂
