Begane grond. Met overkapping, zitje en buitenbad. Perfecte badkamer ook. 👌🏻en een zeer uitgebreid ontbijt. Ook avonds kun je er goed eten. En vergeet de fantastische ijsjes bij het café op de hoek niet. Zou het niet weten 🤷‍♀️
• Cillian (10/5): Hidden gem! Loved it - La Tavernetta was even better than the photos. If you're looking for a spot to really switch off, this is it. The view was breathtaking. You can see the sea from literally everywhere: the breakfast room, reception, garden, and so on. Everyone working there is super chill and welcoming. They really make you feel at home, which I appreciated. The hotel also has this amazing garden where it’s super quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was top-notch, with plenty of local specialties to try. Definitely recommended! Nothing!

The staff is super nice, they make you feel right at home with how welcoming they are. There’s also a very well-kept and peaceful garden. Breakfast was great with fresh food, really tasty. We'll definitely be back! No issues at all, everything was perfect.

La chambre familiale pour 4 est petite même si très bien agencée. La salle de bains vraiment exiguë (une cabine de douche modeste + sanitaires) et les enfants devraient également avoir droit à un peignoir et des mules pour un 4 étoiles. Le parking n'est pas à proximité immédiate et mal éclairé.

Und der Blick vom Bellevue ist atemberaubend – der Name passt wirklich perfekt! Ein besonderes Lob geht an das Restaurant: die Gerichte sind authentisch und einfach köstlich. • Michel (9/5): Romantic and elegant family-run hotel in cozy Scopello - This is an elegant, romantic family-run hotel located right in the middle of the little town of Scopello, its within a very short walk to the nice town square with the restaurants and you can walk from here up to the Scopello tower and Tonnara. IGNORE the reviews complaining about the parking being far away or the lack of an elevator and so on, so ridiculous, these people should book Dubai as their next destination! This is a classic family run hotel consisting of old buildings being part of an old village, that is part of the amazing experience staying here! From the moment you check-in and during your stay the staff is very friendly and welcoming. You can park your car close to the hotel to offload your luggage and then park it at a private carpark within a few minutes walk. The rooms are very big and have absolutely all you could possibly need during your stay. We had a room with a jacuzzi in the room, this added to our romantic experience. It is very quiet at night and the bed is very comfortable. The airco was very well positioned. The grounds and the garden of this hotel are magnificent with its beautiful pool and amazing view over the bay. The garden and the outside hotel bar outside are a perfect destination to relax all day and have a very nice lunch overlooking the bay. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and delicious. Every day fresh pastries and all sorts of Italian delicacies. The bar/restaurant in the garden serves very nice Italian lunch dishes and serves great cocktails. Stay here during your stay in Scopello! The only 2 small annoying points; the payment process via Booking is a bit clumsy, we had to do a bank transfer to the hotel which caused some slightly worrying automatic emails from Booking. And nothing the hotel can do about, but Scopello and also this hotel attracts many Americans (the loud and obnoxious ones) who suddenly feel their Italian roots and swamp this village as if they own the place, they are mainly there for the overrated Tonnara where there are many American weddings held. Just ignore them and you will have an amazing stay here!

• Sterre (9/5): Heerlijke nazomer in Scopello bij La Tavernetta, met prachtig uitzicht en lekker eten. - De faciliteiten, het vriendelijke personeel en de mooie uitzichten. Het apartment was gelegen aan het plein en niet in het hotel, daardoor moest je eerst over het plein lopen om bijvoorbeeld bij het zwembad te komen. Beetje ongemakkelijk.

Il y a une vue de rêve et quand vous prenez votre petit-déjeuner au restaurant, vous avez l'impression d'être face à un véritable tableau de la baie de Scopello. La chambre est spacieuse et aménagée avec goût. L'hôtel est situé au cœur du village et c'est un vrai atout! Cet hôtel aurait pu avoir la note de 12/10 si l'insonorisation de la chambre avait été de qualité. Malheureusement, cela n'est pas le cas et nous avons eu la sensation de vivre avec le voisin de la chambre d'à côté. On entend tout, même les bruits de la cuisine du restaurant car nous étions dans la chambre juste au dessus. C'est vraiment dommage car sinon, tout était parfait!

(8/5): Heerlijk voor een korte stop - Het boekingsproces verliep chaotisch: op de website stond een korting van 10% bij directe boeking, maar dit bleek telefonisch alleen op de tweede nacht te gelden. De communicatie hierover en de houding van de telefoniste waren niet prettig. Ook een reservering voor het restaurant kon pas drie dagen vooraf gemaakt worden, wat onhandig was. Gelukkig was de ervaring ter plaatse fantastisch: we werden hartelijk ontvangen, de tuin en het zwembad zijn prachtig, en het uitzicht is werkelijk adembenemend. Het restaurant is een absolute aanrader – heerlijk eten, uitstekende bediening en dezelfde geweldige omgeving. De kamers zijn comfortabel, maar wat gehorig: wij werden ’s nachts gewekt door buren die laat thuiskwamen. Conclusie: ondanks de onhandige boeking en kleine minpunten, was ons verblijf uitstekend en zeker de moeite waard! Gehorig, minder klantvriendelijk bij het boeken Helaas is het strand “Cala Mazzo di Sciacca Beach” zeer regelmatig niet toegankelijk vanwege feesten en bruiloften, wellicht het uitzoeken waard alvorens het hotel te boeken.

Il giardino un paradiso dove perdere la dimensione del tempo. Tutto lo staff super gentile, professionale e attento a tutte le nostre esigenze. Colazione molto varia e abbondante, il cibo del ristorante interno eccellente. Il bistrot annesso alla struttura fa una pizza super! In ultimo i proprietari, gentilissimi, simpatici e soprattutto pieni di passione per il proprio lavoro. Super consigliato!

• Petra (7/5): - The breakfast was delicious, with typical sicilian dishes and continental dishes also. The coffe was also very good. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean. There was amazing view from the garden of the resort, the garden and the pool was olso amazing. The beaches were far from the hotel. The closest beach was Tonnara di Scopello, were you should pay 25 euro for the entry. Another beach is Cala Mazzo di Sciacca, but it is 1,6 km far from the hotel. There is free entry, but you have to pay for the parking place. The neighborhood of the hotel was noisy at night.

Check in process was a bit tricky. We hadn’t been warned about a car free zone near the hotel which we entered by mistake (and hopefully will not be fined for!) and it would have been helpful if the hotel had given us more help with finding their car park.

The staff were incredibly caring and went out of their way to help me with a few issues during my trip — I truly appreciated their support. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a Smart TV and a beautiful sea view from the window, which made my stay even more special. The hotel’s restaurant also deserves a special mention — the food was excellent, and the staff were exceptionally professional and attentive. Highly recommended for a relaxing and worry-free stay! • Monica (10/5): So glad we stayed here to experience rural Sicily! - Scopello is such a quaint and beautiful village with friendly people. Situated on the top of a hill, It’s an ideal area to walk or simply relax around the pool. A small village but there’s plenty of choice of places to eat and the food is delicious! The local beach was well worth the climb up & down the hill as the water was clear, clean and pebbled - ideal for a refreshing swim. Walking to the nearest town of Castellammare del Golfe isn’t a safe option as there’s only the one mountain road! So you rely on taxi or car hire as public transport is very infrequent (and doesn’t run the whole holiday season either!)

• Karl (10/5): An absolute gem of a hotel - This hotel is an absolute gem: comfortable and modern rooms, breathtaking views, helpful staff, spotlessly clean, and comfortable parking facilities. The breakfast is a mix of local delicacies. The hotel’s garden (with pool) is a wonder. Also not to be missed is the hotel’s restaurant. We usually don’t dine in the hotel we’re staying but ended up dining there almost everyday after we took dinner on our first day - the food is Mediterranean cuisine at its very very best.

Great location, great food at breakfast, super easy to relax by the pool or fall asleep under the olive trees. Our view overlooking the garden and ocean was amazing. ALL the staff were very welcoming and the owner's are great hosts. When we go back to Scopello we will be staying here again!
• Beth (10/5): Beautiful stay in a traditional Sicilian town, perfect! - The location, aesthetics and facilities were all excellent. Great breakfast and lovely little pool bar/restaurant. The pool was a good size and lots of loungers. Would highly recommend the main resturant for dinner, stunning views and gorgeous food. Right in the middle of Scopello village which has everything you need! Would also recommend visiting the famous Tonnara close by (make sure you get there early!) and Castellammare del Golfo for the afternoon/evening. Was all excellent!
