Important Information

Full payment for all bookings will be charged at the time of booking. All major credit & debit cards are accepted excluding American Express. All bookings will include a temporary membership fee per person per night. (Full, existing members of Hosteling Scotland and HI using these channels are not entitled to a membership refund). Individual reservations (Up to 9 people) - can cancel free of charge until 3 days before the arrival date. If canceled within the 3 days before the arrival 100 percent of the total price will be charged. Groups reservations (more than 9 people) - different policies and additional supplements will apply. More than 8 weeks (57 days or more) 20% of total cost. 8 – 4 weeks (56- 29 days) 55% of total cost. 4 – 0 weeks (28 - 0 day) 100% of total cost. No stag or hen parties are permitted at any youth hostel. Should guests be entitled to a refund or part refund please note that these are processed by Hosteling Scotland National Office, Stirling. It may take 7 to 10 working days from the date of cancelation request for the refund to be processed back onto the original card used. From the age of 12 to 15 years, young people must be accompanied by a parent or guardian of the same gender when booking a bed within shared accommodations. Parties with children under 12 years will only be accommodated in private rooms, where available. Hosteling Scotland advise that additional notice be given to the destination youth hostel when traveling with children, to ensure that suitable accommodations is available. There is no capacity for extra beds or cots. Check-in from 16:30 until 22:00. Check-out before 10:00. Late check-in is available if arranged in advance. The hostel normally has limited daytime access between 10:00 and 16:30.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Please note that the full amount of the reservation is due before arrival. will send a confirmation with detailed payment information. After full payment is taken, the property's details, including the address and where to pick up the keys, will be sent to you by email. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

The location is excellent, close to everything, with beautiful surroundings that make it an ideal base for exploring the area. Everything was perfectly clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. There’s also a nice common area with sofa to relax after a long day. I would highly recommend this place!

Rooms were spacious with plenty of lockers hangers etc and the kitchen facilities were outstanding! Location and views are right on sea front, beautiful! I feel they have everything covered

Joanna Vadenbring (10/5): Lovely hostel with excellent facilities - This hostel is situated right on the seafront and you've got a spectacular view from most dorms and the common room. The hostel itself has comfy and clean beds, very nice toilets and shower rooms and a decent kitchen. It's close to the ferries and buses but also to the river and hills. Very friendly staff. I'd been hoping to wash my stuff but the tumble dryer was broken.

R (10/5): A superbly maintained hostel on seafront SUPER STAFF - Exceptionally well maintained and cleaned hostel right on the sea front. The staff were superb and could not be more helpful. A well equipped kitchen meant that any meal one desired to cook was perfectly feasible and agin the kitchen was kept scrupulously clean by an enthusiastic staff. Comfortable areas to relax and overall a great hostel. Salt in the kitchen as one of those things you tend to forget when travelling....everything else was available in abundance

La única sugerencia que tengo es poner ganchos para colgar la ropa y bolsos. Había dos ganchos en la puerta, pero no eran suficientes. Muchas gracias.

Great kitchen facilities, drying room, dining and lounge area. Smooth check in by Aga. Fiona the manager was greatly accommodating by allowing the use of the facilities due to high winds and rain on morning of checkout. Travelling by motorbike it would have been unsafe so much appreciated. Even though there was an 4 gang extension socket, for a 6 bed room I feel this was not sufficient (I personally have 4 electronic devices to charge) so could be doing with more

Katarina (9/5): Prijetno s super razgledom - Lokacija ob morju poleg promenade, odlično za večerni sprehod. Ustrežljivo osebje, ki vse lepo razloži in odgovori na vsa vprašanja, ter predlaga tudi dobre lokacije za večerjo. Prijeten lounge od vhodu, knjige na voljo (to sem res izkoristila), tudi skupni prostori in jedilnica so čisti in prijetni.

Corridor doors bang and some guests not very considerate in opening/closing them quietly during the night and early morning!
