The bed was comfy and the room served all my purposes. The shampoo and conditioner smelled good; I forgot my products and was grateful to have them. The water was hard but I think that's just Houston!
• Wilkinson (9/5): Not so great - The staff was very friendly and understanding. I had a room that my two little ones and I had to stay in where the air wasn’t working and refrigerator went out. We end up getting sick. Instead of them giving us another day free I end up having to pay for another room. I didn’t get a refund for the first room and I felt like the price was too high for it not to be a Marriott or even a motel six. I still have not received my refund back 200 deposit back either that I had to pay on arrival and for booking another room.

Curtains had holes in it moths had ate it. Birds out side or in wall was making noise all night but quiet in the morning. Did not sleep at all. Door has cracks around door needs to repair. Curtains had holes from moths eating it or just old . Birds outside on roof or in wall , made noise all night but not in the morning , it was quiet. Just it was not like the pictures that I booked the room .

• Steve (7/5): Clean, decent rooms that would benefit from a renovation. - Good-sized room that was presented in a clean condition. Responsive receptionist. Bus stops on both sides of the road within a couple of minutes' walk. Rooms are starting to look a little tired and are ready for renovation.

• Teresa (4/5): - The room smelled amazing. The cleaning girl was so sweet. The toilet flooded the bathroom when it was flushed. The outside trash cans never got emptied the whole time I was there. There was a loud disturbance from a guest that spilled outside.

I did a walk thru and immediately wrote booking and walked back to office where I received no response so I l - Nothing at all it was horrible not as advertised I didn’t like the bad condition the room was in starting with entering the room with cigarette smoke slapping me in the face also with a mold aroma the beds were not made with stain sheets the floor looked like it had not been mopped the door to the room and bathroom were in bad condition broken wood and not to mention the bathroom by far the worst with a stain that looked the poop and mold buildup it was horrible I was there 10 mins

• khalid (4/5): I don’t like it - The employee’s behavior was completely unacceptable. I asked him about the room rate, and he gave me a ridiculously inflated price, even though I found the same room online for 30% less. When I questioned why he wouldn’t match the online rate, he refused and suddenly changed his attitude, speaking to us in a rude and unprofessional manner. He initially refused to let me in just because I didn’t have my passport on me, even though I provided my driver’s license as a valid ID. I had to travel a long distance to bring my passport, and when I returned, he still refused to check me in, claiming he hadn’t received the confirmation message from Booking.com — something completely outside my control and not a valid excuse to deny entry.

The only plug in outlet that worked was the one by the door that the microwave was plugged into. Every single one of the other plugs did not work. I had to sit at the table to do my hair while looking into the mirror clear across the room.
• Raquel (1/5): - Nothing If the government wants to shut things down, they need to start with this place! Immediately! It was bad with a dirty B! I had to book a last-minute room to come and get my passport renewed, so I arrived at midnight and had to deal with it. It was filthy! I was nervous about sleeping on the bed. One of the beds smelled and looked like someone had been sleeping in it. There was trash in the one trash can in the room. The refrigerator and the microwave were dirty, as expected. There was urine on the toilet seat! 🤢 Thankfully, I had antibacterial wipes in my car, so I could wipe everything down and not feel so disgusting. The shower looked like it had never been cleaned, so yes, my wipe was dirty when I was done cleaning. Of course, I used half the container. The shower curtain was filthy. I did not want it anywhere near me. I booked a non-smoking room. It reeked of cigarette smoke. I would not stay here again if they paid me to. DISGUSTING!!!

• Nichole (1/5): - Nothing Front desk let someone up to my room, gave them a key and did even call or ask me. I had to have my room changed in the middle of the night.
• Adeyeye (9/5): - Comfortable, Privacy After staying for 25 days, I wasn't given the grace to stay for about 5 extra hours after my checkout time to catch my flight at 6 pm. When I pleaded I was told to pay for a night.

• Issachar (6/5): - The room itself was nice, AC was off when I got there so I had to sit in a stuffy room for a bit but that’s more of a minor mistake. Mostly clean, drawers definitely could’ve been cleaned more but wasn’t a bother for me since I was only staying one night. Area itself was okay, not much to do in the immediate vicinity, and some of the other people staying there seemed a little off but that isn’t really the location’s fault!

Might've needed to sweep and mop also. Floors were kinda filthy. Other than that, it was fine. No bugs, the refrigerator worked and the a/c worked pretty good.

• Michelle (4/5): - The property appears quite old but that wasn’t the issue for me. When I first stepped into the room, I was greeted by a faint smell of cigarette smoke, which was unpleasant at first but not unbearable. Upon initial inspection, I found several small brown stains on my bedsheet. I asked front desk if changing the sheets would be possible and they decided to change my room instead. Upon entering the second room, I was hit by the smell of mold along with the cigarette smell from before. Thankfully, I quickly got used to it and the smell only really bothered me every time I would step into the room after being away. The bedsheets in the new room were cleaner, but I still noticed a faint red stain. I decided to keep this room, however, as I figured they would all be slightly dirty in this way. However, multiple of the towels were visibly dirty and 2 of the 3 pillows provided had various debris and someone else’s hair stuck on them. Thankfully there was one pillow with only minor debris that I was able to use. The sheets smelled of course. The AC worked but was quite loud so it could be hard to sleep. Finally, the hair dryer plugged into the wall didn’t work (outlet’s fault I think), but admin was able to give me a different hairdryer which I could plug in somewhere else. Overall, I would pay a bit more for a better accommodation next time I visit Houston, as I just could not feel comfortable with the lack of cleanliness. 2 stars rather than one because service was good.

• Michael (8/5): - This motel was located right off the interstate and was conveniently really close, one mile, from Baylor Medical School, where I was having a doc appointment at. Staff were really friendly and very helpful. Hotel is located close to a good variety of restaurants within 10 min drive in most directions. Also was within a 10 min drive of NRG stadium. Only down side is that it is located on a major road, which can have heavy traffic at times. This may make it difficult to drive around and get to various things depending on the time of day and other happenings in town. But Houston traffic is notoriously bad, so I just expected it and was pleasantly surprised when I was able to get around town relatively easily.
