• Gabriela (10/5): - It was clean and affordable . The owners were extremely nice and accommodating . Adjust expectations since this is just a budget motel but it is very clean. Even though I had a non smoking room I guess the air ducts make some odors travel and the room had a bit of some odor.
• Keith (8/5): Value for Money, and surprisingly clean. - We had checked the reviews and had seen that we needed to be away from the "Reception Door" which can apparently slam as people come and go during the night. We slept very well for 4 nights (King size room), regardless of the background Street hum. A room to sleep in - NOT hang out in. Very basic, but that was quite acceptable / realistic for the value. The nearest Airbnb (we have stayed in a year before) was double the price. We were surprised to see our room had an exceptionally clean carpet; the fixtures and fittings had also been properly cleaned. It may be an old building, but it was obvious the family who now runs it has made a serious effort to get it (or at least our room) into the best of shape. We would definitely go back there if we visit the area again. First night had very strong cleaning smell, but at least it was cleaned! Aircon / Heating unit was loud. We found we could run it hot for 20 min (heating) before going to bed, which then kept the room pretty warm till morning.

• Chelsea (8/5): Good for 1 night stay - Booked because it was recommended for 1 night stays. It was okay. Staff was super friendly and nice! Beds were clean but not super comfortable. AC was spotty- half the room was hot half the room was cold. For 1 night it was worth it. AC unit, windows did not lock (was on the second floor but still made me feel a tad uneasy), beds and pillows were not very comfortable

A large older motel but rooms have been renovated. Bathroom was modern upgrade with large tile shower enclosure. Fridge & microwave. Everything worked and everything was clean. I was able to park right in front of my first-floor room. A nice place at a reasonable price.

The room was exceptionally clean. Especially liked the tiled shower. No breakfast, but a good reasonable restaurant nearby. Would stay here again.
• David (4/5): Roach Motel - I was awaked in the middle of the night by something crawling on me and it was a roach! I jumped up and then went to the bathroom where I turned on the light and many more were scattering all over the place. Of course, after that, I couldn't fall back to sleep.My room was right next to the office.

• Dave (4/5): - Expectations at this budget hotel need to be low. It's very unusual in that they had done some renovations like the bathroom which was very small but ok. But the main room needed a lot of work and one of my pet peeves is sticky carpeting. I'm glad I brought my disposable slippers. Otherwise, I suppose it was okay for a cheap night stay.

• Kim (4/5): - I don’t know how this motel received very good rating. Yes, they had the refrigerator & microwave, which I wanted. The room was so dark, not enough lamps and dirty windows. The sheets were clean and no bed bugs, this is the kind of place that I looked for this. Kind of depressing to be in the room. Would not recommend and would not stay there again. I checked the photos on the Expedia site and our room did not look like any of the photos. Bathtub time was full of mildew.

We were there to visit the Toledo Zoo and to attend a concert and the hotel was just a short drive from both of them. Many restaurants and a Starbucks near by. I would definitely stay again!

The moment I checked in the middle-aged Indian man who was running the desk counter at midnight on Saturday, May 31, 2025 was extremely rude to me immediately upon interacting with him. His English was poor, and I mean really poor like I had to ask him what he said regarding each individual sentence almost 4 or five times each time, so that one paragraph worth of conversation back-and-forth took almost 10 minutes… at first, I thought he was asking me a simple question regarding the check in process, but I quickly realized that he was almost interrogating me even though I had just shown up on the property 30 seconds before that… This Motel is not in a terrible part of town, but for some reason it attracts a really rough crowd, prostitutes, drug dealers, what seem to me to be criminal minded individuals, party crowd, alcoholics, addicts, etc. there are syringe caps and empty cheap liquor bottles in the parking lot, less than attractive, provocatively, dressed women in conventional, cheap hooker, clothing hanging out on the railings on the second floor yelling at people as they walk into the office, and what I perceived to be “dope boys“ at the bottom of the stairs etc… so regarding this rough crowd, I got the feeling that he maybe had just gotten done dealing with some unruly individuals or something of the sort because his demeanor was extremely unprofessional, accusatory, strange to say the least, and again this is considering that I literally just walked into check in initially and hadn’t been on the property at all up until that very moment… I almost got the feeling like he was mistaking me for someone else, I honestly don’t care, I wasn’t gonna say anything but booking.com sent me the email so I’m just being honest. I will never go back. The bathroom, as is typical in older motels, was small but completely renovated with tile walk-in shower and all new fixtures. Wifi was adequate, parking was easy right outside my door. I would stay here again.

Turned on the water in the bathroom sink and the water was initially black. Looked like it was full of black sand. Didn’t use the shower due to this. Used bottled water to brush my teeth. Window mounted heater/AC just plain sucked. Small 30” tv mounted almost on the ceiling. Neighborhood is sketch. Only post point was Mr. Panda Buffet down the street. Pay an extra $20 and stay anywhere else.

• Rob (10/5): Definitely a diamond in the rough. - The hotel is older, but has been kept up well. The room was clean and comfortable. It has a compact, simple layout that suits my wife and I perfectly. The owners and their staff are always friendly and helpful, and they are part of the reason that we keep coming back. The location is convenient, providing us easy access to any part of Toledo or the surrounding area that we require. There is an excellent Lebanese restaurant across the road and an equally good Mexican restaurant less than a block from the hotel. Overall, it is our favorite place to stay while in Toldedo.

We stayed for two nights and the room was cleaned and we received fresh towels after the first night. The mini fridge and a/c in the room worked fine. The area of town where the motel is located is a bit depressed. The motel itself is also older, but considering the affordable price and cleanliness you really can’t complain!

Including staff, even after I asked for them to fix it, they did for a few hours only, then back to slamming 8:30 am -1pm I Do NOT Recommend!! Bar people show up 2-3am & party loudly, music blaring all nite then door slamming, both nites/days! Door was shot up & window has bullet hole! There's a gap at door frame as it was busted down & no trim put backup so it's like a window opened & hear busy street noise 24/7! Office guy was nice but only got partiers to slightly lower music volumn. Then office calls & wakes you up when you finally fall asleep at 11:30am?? Both days! It's Absurd! Don't go here!!

• Kendrick (2/5): Bed bugs everywhere - Good price, nice people. I've been here before and had a good experience. I have never been so upset. I woke up with 32 bed bug bites on my chest and back. I'm still itching. The MGR didn't seem to care about me. He said they would look at the room and bed but what about me. I feel like he should've offered my money back. This is a horrible disgusting feeling.

• Leslie (10/5): Absolutely delighted with clean and restful visit - I had requested a first floor room at this motel due to my recent knee surgery and pulled in to check in. The gentlemen from the office were standing in a parking spot next to the office and stepped aside so I could pull in. I went in and identified myself and they had my reservation ready--I was assigned the room next to the office where they had, in effect, been saving my parking spot! Very kind people and a wonderful room where I had an exceptional night's sleep. Everything worked although the wifi was a bit slow. I was sad to leave this place but when I did, management was outside greeting guests and thanking them for their visit. Quite a high standard of comfort and hospitality here--I will make a point of returning whenever I'm in the area.

NO outlet on one side of bed (wife needed outlet for CPac machine, I needed one for radio & phone charger.

No frills, but that's what I expected. The downside is that we could hear airplanes, trains, and street traffic pretty clearly all night, so maybe not for you if you're a light sleeper. Also, the mattress and pillows were super firm, so this will be better for those with that preference.

• Jennifer (10/5): Hidden Gem - I always worry when I find a non-chain motel with incredibly low rates. However, I decided to give this one a try. What a wonderful hidden gem! The service was wonderful. We got in late and there were no issues checking in at 11 pm. The room was very clean, the mattress was extremely comfortable, and the shower was amazing! The location was perfect. I felt completely safe in the area. We were within 15 minutes of downtown and pretty much anywhere else we went. We are booked again for a trip to Toledo next month.

The staff removed it, however 2 days later, when I checked out the room was still strongly "perfumed" with the air freshner. Maybe they can find a more neutral airfreshner.

• Kyle (5/5): Passable - The bathroom had a used washcloth from previous guest hanging in the shower as well as a moth. The rooms are all smoking rooms and there's a ridiculous surcharge for non-smoking.
• Theresa (10/5): - Room was small, but very clean and staff was grea!
• Kim (5/5): There's good and bad with this property. - The staff was very nice, the property was in a good location and there were shops and restaurants very close by. The room was exceptionally clean and the area was quiet at night. The pillows were VERY hard. I could not get the TV remote to work. The shampoo was in packets that were impossible to open with wet hands. There was only one hanger. There was a strange guy hanging around the parking lot. When I checked out, he took the card key from the front desk and went into my room to take the tip I left for the housekeeping person. When confronted, he gave the tip to her.
• Leslie (10/5): we will be back - everything. the rooms were clean and orderly. staff is absolutely wonderful. we will definitely be coming back. stores and restaurants close by. I loved everything. amazing service and place to stay. definitely worth the food.

• Chris (8/5): - Well, it was 1/3 the price of where the rest of the team stayed 2 miles away. And we slept just as well. For someone like us just needing a place to sleep, it worked well. Clean, functional and didn’t miss anything

• Linda (10/5): Mother - It was good stay clean,well kept and nice owner's we would go back there if we ever had to stay again the only down fall was we like coffee in the morning wish there was coffee pot in room's and trash can in bathroom but i would recommend this place to anyone that needs to stay in that area !
