Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (6/5): Incomodidades durante estadía - Aunque la anfitriona tiene un trato amable, pero tiene un perro muy ruidoso, no me dieron el último desayuno, todo porque "se quedó dormida"
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Room was large and location was good, close to shops and restaurants. Should make travellers aware that they have a dog before booking. No laundry facilities as stated on site and kitchen access was only to fridge and microwave.
- Andrew (10/5): Friendly hosts and awesome location - Very friendly hosts, great location, and stellar service. We walked from the hotel down to the main ocean strip and it was lovely! Couldn't be happier! We'll be returning again for another night later on during our trip. Thanks for the great stay!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The manager is very professional. A lot of common space
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The host, Ismale, was very helpful, with check in and introduction of the place. He lend us one of his public transport cards for us to use, and even washed our own sheet that we brought with us when a bug was found and killed on it. The Casa is located in a quiet and nice area, close to the seashore and to Kennedy Park, nice walking distance.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - it is nice, quiet and clean, It is close (walk-able) to many interest points in Lima,
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This property was a little tricky to find as it looks like a normal house from the outside (no sign or anything) but it's in a great area on a quiet residential street very close to the grocery store and other shops.
The front gate and door keep the place secure.
Our room was spacious and nice and the showers worked perfectly.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Carlos was very helpful. My bank blocked my credit card and he let me use his laptop to get home. It is also a very clean and comfortable place.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Great experience- friendly host, great location and very accommodating.
- Robert (10/5): - Very good hotel. Comfortable beds and a friendly welcome.
- Walter (8/5): Outstanding stay - Overall satisfied with my stay. I would stay again if in the area
- Amanda (10/5): Worth the Stay! - The hotel staff is really nice and very helpful with directions, and maps, and an excellent breakfast that they prep for you when you are ready. They have netflix in each room and the common room so you can watch your favorite shows at any time. They give you several keys, which can be tricky at first, but you figure it out in order to get in/out of the hotel for safety. The neighborhood is nice and easily accessible. There is safety patrol in the area at night. We stayed in the first room, and it was spacious, had hot water for the shower, and was very clean. At night you can hear the traffic passing by (not sure about in other rooms). The one thing to know is that this hotel does NOT take credit cards. So if you book through hotels.com, either pay ahead through Hotels.com or have the money readily available. We didn't know this ahead of time. But they were VERY nice and said, at some point today, go to the bank, and we can worry about it then. Very hospitable, and both English and Spanish are spoke fluently for easy communication. I definitely recommend.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Stay in Miraflores - Great location close to all amenities. The staff were very friendly and shared lots of good tips for seeing Peru. Weather you would like to stay on the trail or find some quieter paths they are there to help. Basic accommodations at a decent price.
- Doria (10/5): - We had a lovely time at Khallma Casa.
The room was clean, Claudia and her brother are absolutely lovely.
Only hiccup was that our bus to town was late and we couldn't find the bell, but she came out as she heard us bickering outside.
The area is a bit loud and might take some getting used to if you are used to quiet.
The breakfast was tasty, the room was pristine, the bed firm and super comfy, we would definitely stay there again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Claudia was super friendly and helpful
- Kayla (10/5): Great Place to Stay! - Very nice place to stay, friendly staff and secure location. Bathrooms are very nice and wifi works well.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The service was excellent and I felt very welcome. The hotel was in a good location. For the price, I don't think you will find anything better in Lima.
- RedKoat Yankee (8/5): Very safe location. Very friendly staff - I arrived at around 11pm to start a 50 day trip around south America. Be sure to give the host Claudia accurate arrival time and update her via what's app if you can of delays. Initially a little hard to fine as no outward display of a hotel/hostel sign.but trustomer in building number and street sign. About 35-40s in a cab from LIM but Airport Express will get you there for 8s, provide a map and drop you on Jose Prado about 3-4 blocks away (5 min), any easy and safe walk even at night. Excellent wifi making Ubers easy to hail. Great kitchen facilities. Top floor rooms can get a little warm in summer months but other than that, a perfect location for a traveller on a budget.
- Siobhan (6/5): - Lovely staff, would have liked a tv in room and prefer no fitted carpet, no creaking floor boards and a shower that's always hot.
- Ashley (10/5): Secure Area, Cozy and Comfy! - This is a privately owned 7 bedroom duplex home with clean comfy rooms with a quiet peaceful living room, it also has a dining room and kitchen. Breakfast is served at fixed times and is communicated by the host Claudia. It included, bread which was better than the light ones offered all over Peru, one egg, coffee or tea and juice. Extra bread and some fruits would have made it even better.
There are 4 rooms on the first level with a brand new shared bathroom, I would recommend these rooms, 3 rooms are located upstairs with a very tiny bathroom and not so good water pressure. Rooms are comfy, towels and body wash are provided.
The Casa(House) is located in a very quiet, secure area of Miraflores not far from Ave Pardo, about a 15min walk to Parque Kennedy. It is easy to get American fast food within a few hindred feet of the Casa and more local options are 5min away. The airport Express bus stop at Boulevard Hotel is a 6-7min walk(very convenient)
No guests are allowed and one needs to unlock 3 gates/doors before you can get in. The host Claudia is welcoming and accommodating. Bear in mind this is not a party place. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful and homey stay in Lima, this is the place for You. Wifi is good and available in all areas of the Casa.
