I went downstairs to the desk at 4:45 and they called the room but it didn't help at all. So needless to say,I wasn't pleased. The desk said they couldn't comp me because I booked through booking. • Aamna Omar (4/5): - Dear Senior Management, I am writing to formally escalate a serious matter concerning my family’s recent stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Flagstaff East, which involved prolonged check-in delays, refusal to coordinate with the booking partner, unauthorized duplicate charges, and the complete absence of a finalized bill or written resolution. Check-in Date: January 3, 2026 Property: Hampton Inn & Suites Flagstaff East Upon arrival for check-in on January 3, we were made to wait approximately three hours because our confirmed reservation was not appearing in the Hilton Honors system. Despite the issue being administrative and verifiable, the supervisor on duty failed to resolve it in a timely manner. Because the reservation was made through a third-party platform, the front desk staff repeatedly avoided responding to Booking.com’s verification calls. When we ourselves contacted Booking.com, the front desk held the call for nearly 15 minutes and only engaged after insistence. The reservation was ultimately confirmed and validated by Booking.com, despite the hotel’s initial reluctance to cooperate. On the following day, after returning from a long and exhausting day, our room key was deactivated. We were informed that payment had allegedly not been received, even though Booking.com had already charged us in full in advance for the entire stay. At the front desk, a staff member took my credit card under the explicit representation that it was required only for incidental authorization. Contrary to that representation, the card was charged again for the full stay, resulting in a duplicate payment. This constitutes a serious billing irregularity. During check-out, while attempting to resolve this issue, my entire family was left waiting in the car for approximately one hour, causing unnecessary distress. Despite repeated requests, no corrected invoice, receipt, or written clarification has been provided to date.

Finally found it and they were all rude to me. Gave me poor directions to my room in relation to the stairs. The shower had low pressure and the shower head was installed too high. There is a correct ht and lay out for showers and this one was terrible. Grab bar in the wrong place. they do not have a cork screw to loan. Ac was noisy
• Samantha (8/5): - he staff was very friendly, and the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I especially loved the blackout shades — they made it easy to get a good night’s sleep. The only downside was that the pool wasn’t heated, so the water was pretty cold. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

Theres small store inside if you wanted some microwaveable food, chips, beer and wine. I always go here when in Flagstaff.

• Fearless27513476328 (8/5): Almost perfect. - Only negative thing was our door was knocked on by housekeeping in the morning despite having the sleeping tag on the knob. Reeeeeeally wish they wouldn't do that. Other than that, great place.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Below average - The room was average. The bed was not comfortable, and there was a banging sound from about 3 am to 4:30 am. The shade on the window was broken. Went to breakfast at 8:30 and some of the hot choices were gone, asked the attendant, she was not friendly at all and said it would be at least 15 minutes. Will look for a different hotel next time we are in Flagstaff.

• kwf47 (6/5): Our Western Trip 2025 - We had no choice but to book this hotel at a very high rate for memorial day. I would not be as upset if it had been up to the standards of other Hampton Inns I have stayed at. The room needed some TLC, the food service in the morning couldn't keep up with the number of people and it was just plan bland. The room was not as clean as we expected , the shower area needs to be attended to and the room had a lot of dusty areas. We defiantly overpaid for what we received. Not up to Standards

The little basket fit half of the 5 year olds needs. 4 things can hang in the mini closet. We were told if we wanted to stay more than a night or two that we should have gone for a different ling stay hotel. We stayed 4 nights. Didnt get a room clean until we asked at day 3. One of the gals at the front desk should not be in customer interaction.

She definitely made us feel welcome We will definitely consider staying here again when we visit Flagstaff.
• Trip663598 (8/5): Nice hotel. No reason to charge for parking. - The room and beds were excellent. Hotel is clean and staff friendly. The rating would have been 5 stars except for the parking. They charged 7.50 a night to park in an open area lot! This appears to be the newest way to make more money. However, the lot isn't well lit, there's no security patrol, trucks with trailers tale up 3-4 spaces. My wife had a homeless person come up trying to bum cigarettes while I checking in and she was unloading. If you're going to charge for parking you better provide some security.

• Lori (7/5): For the $180 charge, it was not a great stay. Probably won't stay there again. - We got checked in quick. The beds were decent. The room was quiet. Breakfast was average. Not one of the USB ports in the room worked. Called to front desk and they said no one was available to look at them. So we had to spend $20 at the gas station to get USB adapter plugs to plug into the wall sockets.
• n0rind0 (2/5): I was charged $800 for damage I didn’t cause - Absolutely unacceptable experience. I was shocked to find a $800 charge on my credit card for “TV damage”—which I did not cause. The TV was already has lines running through it when I just entered the room. I saw it because it was turn on saying welcome. I notified front desk and she didn’t say anything. I was naive because I didn’t do anything. So I was surprised to see the $800 charged a week later, and no one from the hotel contacted me before charging my card. I’ve tried reaching out to resolve this, but the staff has been unhelpful and dismissive. This feels like a scam, and I’ll never stay here again. Travelers beware—take photos of everything or risk being charged for damage you didn’t do.

Indoor pool was a nice touch and staff were friendly. Good value if you’re looking for a hotel in the Flagstaff area that is up-to-date and welcoming.

You are a well respected chain in f hotels and if you need the extra money we feel you should just raise the cost per night in that amount. Charging a fee for parking is tacky.
• lr2522 (4/5): Not Worthy of Current Ranking - Not sure where to start - almost every aspect of our recent overnight stay was a disappointment. Dirty bathroom, stained sheet, lumpy foam pillows, and extra small, thin, and stringy towels. Did I mention they charge for parking, even though their website currently says complimentary parking?
