- Susan (10/5): - The comfort of a nice clean home and bedroom made my stay fabulous. Breakfast was different every morning and delicious. I could smell the food cooking. Each morning started with a delicious fresh, fruit cup.
Outdoors is a fire pit with a number of chairs and a corn hole game,

- Raphael (10/5): A very special B&B for a perfect vacation - A very special B&B in an old renovated house. Tracy and Jim are great hosts. Breakfast was amazing, different one every morning made by Tracy with much love and care. We had a great time Nothing
- Merita (10/5): - Growing up in an historic town, we appreciated the special building. Inn Keepers met us at the door, I did call ahead to inform them as to “hopeful” arrival time. Delightful, Inn keeper during the brief call. Outstanding home made breakfast. We loved our stay in this historic building, but more importantly, the Inn Keepers were welcoming, kind, and made us comfortable . We’ll be back for sure!
- NP (10/5): Perfect little stay. - Location was perfect as a 5 minute drive to the quaint town of Plymouth. The host was super friendly and her breakfast was really really good! The B&B had lots of things that you could do in the place - books and games and stocked fridge for drinks and snacks and coffee/tea/hot chocolate.
Note to host: when my husband picked up his pants that he had hanging on the towel rack he accidentally came home with the little makeup towel. So sorry.
- Heather (10/5): - Our 2 night stay was amazing. The location was perfect for exploring the vast trails and all the area has to offer. The room was great-beds were so comfortable. The breakfasts were so yummy! Tracey and Jim were so friendly and we enjoyed meeting Cooper as well! We will be back!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great hostess and delicious breakfast!
- Margaret (9/5): We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was great. The owners are new so I am sure they will put their own stamp on the pr - It was very convenient to Thornton where we attended a wedding. I loved the old inn and the owners were very nice! The stairs going upstairs were very step and were a bit difficult for my husband who has some Parkinsonian symtoms. I also thought the landing by the front door needed to be strengthened because the boards were a bit wobbly.
- Blair (10/5): - Great property enjoyed breakfast and meting Cooper!

- Jeff (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay here was awesome!! The host David is great!! Helped us on where to dine on two great not to far from the Inn. Our room was very clean! It’s a perfect place to stay if you’re going to go to either to the Ice Castles or polar caves or both. The breakfast were out of this world!! Compliments to the chef!! Worth the stay just for the breakfast alone! Lol!! We even met a couple that was from the same town that we live in. We will definitely be staying there again in the near future!

- Dmitry (7/5): Good - Breakfast with a view was amazing. Separate guests woke us up from our sleep when they entered their room. We can hear every word and heard them brush their teeth and use the bathroom. It was very uncomfortable.
- Emily (10/5): - This is a totally unique property- a beautifully restored antique with amazing service and exceptional home cooked, gourmet breakfast. Don’t miss this if you are in the area.

Many restaurants to pick from including The Common Man in several locations with its varied and very good menu.

- Renee (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable stay with nice owner. Great breakfast !
- Kenneth (10/5): - We had a lovely stay while in the area for a friend's wedding. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the hosts were excellent, the history of the property was fascinating, and we felt so much more relaxed than if we had stayed at a "business hotel". The host greeted us when we returned each evening to ask how our day was and confirm what time we wanted breakfast the next day. Absolutely lovely experience, and we plan on returning.
- john (10/5): - I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The Inn reminds me of the original bed and breakfasts my husband and I used to visit back in the day. Cozy and charming with a gourmet breakfast. David and Trevon are such wonderful hosts. They even made me amazing vegan adaptations for breakfast
- Cherine (9/5): Superb - hospitality 10/10, breakfast 10/10! We had the whole place to ourselves, chilled in the living room, watched a movie on the smart TV... would 100% recommend this cosy B&B!
- George (8/5): Very good -
- Patricia (10/5): We enjoyed the great hospitality and the breakfast was delicious - The breakfast was delicious! Served by David was the greatest host! He, also, was very helpful in helping us with our baggage etc because I use a cane and really appreciated the help. Very nice place. There was no tv! And if they had a downstairs bedroom only because I don’t do well with stairs!
- Alana (10/5): Excellent breakfast - David met us right away and showed us around made us feel right at home. He also recommend a Greek restaurant that was to die for. Would love to go back again soon.
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - Entire experience was exceptional Nothing

- Eloise (8/5): - The innkeepers made our stay so enjoyable.
- Mark (10/5): - A delightful and authentic property in a semi-rural area. Auto required to access dining, shopping, hiking trails, and entertainment area. Gracious innkeepers, creative, delicious breakfasts. Only drawback is rooms tend to be chilly when weather turns cold.

The Inn is so charming and David is just so warm and welcoming! Our room was exactly as described and the entire place is beautiful and just so comfortable. Our daily breakfasts were DELICIOUS and the baked treats and candies left out were such a thoughtful touch.
I would certainly recommend staying, and my boyfriend and I already want to return. The town is lovely too, just an overall quaint little place and we absolutely loved it!
- David (10/5): - A beautiful and quaint B&B in a lovely part of New Hampshire. Stay here for the breakfasts; host David is basically a gourmet chef and is doing some serious cooking with his scratch-made breakfasts that are different every day.
- joy (10/5): Exceeded high expectations! - Rarely have we felt so pampered. David and Trevon were attentive but not intrusive. The breakfast was 5 star and memorable. The perfect ending to a wonderful wedding down the road.
- Kenneth (10/5): Cute and Homey B&B - Quaint 18th century house with an excellent host , comfy rooms and a great host (David)
- Cindy (9/5): Superb - Loved the building itself, the period decor, the comfortable room and atmosphere, and most especially the breakfast! My biggest complaint is more on me than the property, but those back stairs to our room were killer. Not a game changer, I would still stay again and recommend this inn. The stairs were the only reason I didn't give it a solid 10.
- Dolores (10/5): Historic building with a great host - Great host, he obviously enjoys what he does and makes everyone feel very welcome. We had a great stay and would love to return in the future.
- Karen (9/5): Lovely historic B&B with charming host and out standing gourmet breakfast in the sunroom. - Gourmet breakfast was outstanding. Didn't realize it was a traditional b & b so there was a shared living room and fridge. Stairs to our room were narrow and steep but host carried our bags.
- Cantwell (10/5): Exceptional - Love that David has such an embrace for the unique Early American History of the house! So glad to share with him an appreciation for the tales he imparted of the building's direct correlation to the founding of,this Nation of possibilities.
Breakfast was a delight. Came to the area to participate in a local wedding, and captivated my family with pictures of the breakfast scenes.
What a precious treat it was!
- Adria (10/5): It was peaceful and calming! - Everything!
- Gutierrez (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This is a 260 year old home and it shows. The hosts make a great effort and generally they succeed, but the property has not really been updated adequately and the amenities - bedding, towels, toiletries etc. - are second rate. Otherwise, a nice enough place to stay.
- Anonymous (9/5): Nice quiet getaway - Historic property, comfortable bed, kind hosts, great coffee and breakfast
- Cecile (10/5): - Fabulous innkeepers! Breakfasts were wonderful. Inn was so quiet- we loved our stay abd would definitely come again and recommend to others without hesitation!
- Theodore (10/5): lovely historical inn with top notch service and food - Location was perfect, and the breakfast was absolutely first rate.
- Orsborne (9/5): Wonderful - Hosts couldn’t be nicer. Breakfast was first rate!!
- Felix (10/5): Exceptional - Nice location and a wonderful breakfast!
- Samantha Jordan (10/5): - The owners were very accommodating and the homemade breakfast in the morning is the best comfort. The outdoor fire pit is very relaxing, just an overall great experience!
- Igor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kayo (10/5): Beautiful historical house with lots of charm! - The property has a history and owner knows it. I enjoyed talking to the owner about it!
- Jennifer (10/5): loved it there, very central location and superb breakfast every day - exceptional hosts and the best ever breakfast every day stairs to our room
- Walter (10/5): Laconia Bike Week - Everything from checking in the staying there having breakfast sleeping was up to par. I will return the owners make you feel right at home.
- Melissa (9/5): Fun Stay at an Old Inn with a lot of Character - The two breakfasts we had were excellent. Everything was homemade and truly special. The innkeeper, David, was an excellent host. He made and served breakfast, and he gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. There was no air conditioning (which was probably in the description, but we made a fairly last minute booking snd may not have read everything carefully). We had no trouble without air conditioning, but it may be a factor in the middle of summer. It's a very old inn which is definitely part of its charm, but guests should be aware that the floors creak.
- Julie (10/5): Wonderful BnB - This is not a top of the line facility as it is a two hundred some odd year old house, but that said, if that's what you're looking for, this is it. Wonderful place, full of character, charming, great landscaping, and great location. The caretakers are delightful, attentive, and provide a wonderful breakfast each day. You will feel welcomed and cared for here.
- Laurie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paula (9/5): Superb -
- Elizabeth (10/5): - unbelievably good breakfast! Our host is deeply involved in the community, so I felt like part of things, just on a 1-night stay. Beautiful setting
- Nick (9/5): Top Notch - Combination of a charming old building with a very charming host made it a very memorable stay Nothing
- Andrew (10/5): relaxing, comfortable, unique - the food was amazing. The Inn is beautiful and quaint. a true hidden gem.
- Charlene (5/5): The stay was pleasant but I wouldn't recommend it due to the poor mattress. - I liked the location and the setting. The grounds were very nice. The host was friendly. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable resulting in back pain. The owner was a little too pushy regarding serving breakfast which we didn't have.
- Stella (10/5): - Beautiful, comfortable and peaceful inn. Host is very accommodating. Delicious breakfast!
- Deirdre (9/5): lovely - everything on the chilly side. but it is winter!
- Anonymous (10/5): Fabulous stay! - Dave was a fabulous host, the room was clean, cozy and breakfast amazing. Will definitely recommend, hope to visit during summer.
- Kathleen (10/5): - Room was comfortable and clean. Host were very pleasant and the breakfast was very good.
- Michael (10/5): As Arnold would say, "I'll be back!" - So nice to see that the original 18th-century wide-plank floorboards and fireplaces were kept to retain the authenticity of this quaint lodging venue! Hosts David and Trevan were very accommodating in every respect which made our stay with another couple here quite memorable. The breakfasts served daily could have been taken right from the cover of Bon Appétit Magazine! How about casserole-baked eggs in butter and cream, seasoned with herbs de Provence accompanied by pastry-dough strips, spiraled around bacon and cheese, sprinkled with sesame seeds, and baked to fluffy perfection? Fresh fruit and pastry started off each morning... If I HAD to come up with something for this review category, it would probably be that our particular room had a relatively small shower stall. HOWEVER, the superb water pressure combined with the well-matched shower head made for quite an invigorating dunk!
