Guest Reviews
- Cara (10/5): We had a lovely stay . I recommend it - It was a pretty setting and very comfortable place to stay. We had a very good breakfast and friendly hostess. It did get a bit cold at night but the bedding was snuggly.
- Eleanor (10/5): A cozy little stay! - We absolutely loved our stay. A very comfortable cozy room! Having breakfast in our room while it was raining outside was heaven. We felt so looked after the weekend before our wedding! Thank you Chris!
- Lydia (9/5): a lovely stay with a beautifullycooked breakfast ! Chris is lovely:) - Its very conveniently located, walking distance to nearby shop and food .

- Ben (10/5): A delightful well catered for 2-night stopover on a long trip. - Beautifully quiet retreat and Chris looked after us royally - those breakfasts!! Could not have been better for an anniversary break. Good old-fashioned B&B that left nothing to be desired. Would definitely go back next time in Macedon. There was nothing not to like!
- Phoebe (10/5): -
- Tom (10/5): Good old fashioned country charm - Chris, the property owner, was absolutely delightful and honestly made our stay. We loved the warm country welcome, the big king bed with electric blanket, the tranquil environment, the peace and quiet, and of course the delicious breakfast which Chris delivered to our room at the time we requested.
Thank you Chris!
- Merran (10/5): - Gorgeous location, the room.was spacious and comfortable. The host is very friendly and cooks a mean breakfast!
If you are coming to Macedon, stay here!
- Barb (10/5): Was a lovely base to return to, in a lovely community. - Beautifully and tastefully decorated. Spacious and comfortable. Real milk in a jug! Amazing breakfast.
- Kristy (9/5): Ten place was in an absolute beautiful spot. The room we stayed in was gorgeous and loved hearing the birds in the morni - What I liked about the property was that it felt so far away from everything but its little cafes and stores where a 5 minute walk away. Was very secluded but absolutely beautiful. The only thing I could fault is the dust and spider webs hanging from the ceiling.
- John (8/5): Chris was very welcoming and provided a beautiful breakfast - Clean, homely
- Jemma (10/5): Relaxing stay with friendly host and great breakfast - Lovely, friendly host Chris - she cooked us a delicious big breakfast in the morning which was great! Big room with a very comfortable bed, big bathroom with a bath as well. Great stay. We were just in and out for a wedding nearby but we had a relaxing time at Hollyhock. nothing!

- Paul (10/5): We were welcomed by our lovely hostess Chris who made sure everything, including the hot breakfast, was perfect. - Comfortable, convenient, secluded Freezing wet weather in middle of October!
- Russell (9/5): Loved it ! - It is a very unique property and room in a good location in Macedon. The gardens are lovely. Chris is so hospitable making us feel really at home and made us a lovely breakfast. The bed is very comfortable and bedding all pristine and there is a great selection of DVDs to watch ! There were quite a few dead insects around the window sills and in the bathroom. Given the location with a lot of vegetation it probably is quite a challenge to stay on top of this, but a quick last minute hoover would probably help. Other than that nothing at all.
- Bruce (9/5): -
