- Terry (10/5): Great stay awesome vibe must stay - Very retro walking distance to fine dining and treats. Putt putt on property as well as shuffle board ping ping and nice pool. Rooms were very comfortable and updated. No elevator, walls thin. Not a lot of non fancy dining near by.

- Brian (10/5): Super Amazing - I love the modern Escentric look and vibe there pool is open and is super pretty and clean. There rooms are spotless and cozy with a street view and pool view if you get double room. Popcorn and lemonade in lobby and a grab and go type style breakfast. Employees are down to earth and this property have 24hr check in if you arrive early or late. Safety is one of a kind and the breeze is truly amazing. I guess due to off season the complimentary breakfast was not stocked and didn't have anything in bread case, nor did the refrigerator have any items but the waffles are always great

I am not a retro type of person but all my co-workers were staying at Mother Earth so I decided to do the same. Wow, so clean and nice and comfortable! The sheets were so nice and the room did not smell like cleaning products- but it was spotless! The staff was so nice and helpful. They didnt make you feel like they were being put out by any questions. I wont stay anywhere else in Kinston, NC. There was nothing I didnt like.

- Janette (7/5): QUITE AN EXPERIENCE - It was pet friendly. Room was clean. The staff were very friendly and polite. Steep hard stairs. So much confusion in locating the rooms. Need better directions. We nearly walked around the entire 2nd floor to find our room. No microwave in room. We cut our stay short. Didn’t entertain breakfast because of the inconvenience of getting around.

- KevShawnn (10/5): A magical place to stay! - I have stayed at the Mother Earth Motor Lodge several times, and I am always thrilled to return! It is a truly unique experience. The retro feel of the hotel reminds me of a time when life was simpler. The staff members are always wonderful. The rooms are very clean. Great bathrooms. And the pool is amazing! So beautiful and relaxing. Can’t wait to return again! Even though I’m usually here on business, it’s like a mini vacation just being at the hotel. If you’re looking to get away for a couple relaxing nights, this is the place!

- Mom45 (10/5): Loved the Mother Earth Motor Lodge - We made last minute reservations at the Mother Earth Motor Lodge for a Monday night. The hotel is clean, welcoming, fun and a true value. There are popcorn and cookies in the lobby and a nice continental breakfast included in your stay. The pool is beautiful! We stayed in a king courtyard suite and we had a large mini fridge, keurig and microwave in our room. Options for restaurants in walking distance even on a Monday night. Don’t miss the Mother Earth brewery nearby if you are up for a beer/adult beverage.

We really enjoyed the outdoor seating space upstairs, which felt like an extra bonus during our stay. The location is great, with plenty of restaurants and light shopping within walking distance. The breakfast was especially impressive for a non-chain hotel, with a wide variety of options that really stood out. The staff was outstanding, welcoming, and truly made us feel cared for. The entire property was spotless, and our room was spacious and an excellent value for the price. We will definitely be coming back to this area specifically to stay at this hotel again. Truly nothing stood out that we didn't like about the hotel.

Daniel and Mark were the guys and I can not say enough about them and the pool was great the rooms great will stay there again in a heart beat!!!!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!! BUT what I would love to see is a deposit on the paddles or golf clubs instead of charging to play the games you have which I think its great you have them but going on vacation is so expensive to add that to a family is tough a deposit to make sure you get the things back is good but to pay to play is a bit much, even charge a bit less would help. but i loved this place and the two guys were great!!!

Loved the attention to detail on the decor; particularly the hanging chairs and painted mural of the town of Kinston on the lobby wall. The ambience was great and we enjoyed a late night swim in the pool on a warm summer evening. The hotel staff was helpful and responded to our needs. My only con is that the bed pillows were a little flat so I would bring my own next time. Overall, it was a great time spent at the Mother Earth Motor Lodge :)

- Luke (10/5): - The Inn is so unique and attracts a wide diversity of guests. It’s always nice to have a simple, yet nice breakfast and meet others from different corners of the country. Housekeeping is outstanding! I’ve stayed in chain hotels that were suppose to be at the upper end and their housekeeping and guest services fell short compared to Mother Earth. Good secured facility with awesome pool and decor.
