Jeffrey (7/5): - Nice looking on the approach. We got a room on the side. The exterior was worn. Might of helped if the outdoor area was swept. The room was very clean The beds were very uncomfortable. Walls very thin but people were quiet during sleep hours.
Bernard (10/5): Great location, comfortable bed and warm room. - A quirky lodge to stay in-eg and old fashioned telephone! Shiloh restaurant opposite served an excellent breakfast and the Forest street pub, an easy 10 minute walk away, served a delicious meal. It has an outside pool and a hot tub, which we didn’t try, and a games room. We drove through the White mountains nearby, which looked beautiful with a light dusting of snow. The proprietor was unenthusiastic about the mountains, but we loved them, the roads were good (ok plenty of potholes) and easy to navigate.

Hugh (7/5): Room met expectations, but the overnight experience in the room was sub-par. - What breakfast? Nobody informed us that breakfast was available. The HVAC system was very noisy—and disturbed sleep. Even with door open, heat didn’t reach bathroom, which was frigid. Dog in next room barked constantly at dawn as neighbors prepared to depart.

The jacuzzi tub in our room was WAYYYY more smaller then in the pictures. More suitable for one person. The public jacuzzi had dirt at the bottom of it and looked like no one had cleaned it in quite awhile.

Was close to our motorcycle course as well as a Walmart to get anything we needed. Price was a bit much for a one-night stay for one person (approx. $150) considering the rural location and there was nothing going on (fairs, events etc.) to cause a pricier stay for such little needed accommodations.

Susan (10/5): Feels like home away from home! - I’m afraid to tell the world about this gem I found. It’s the perfect place to stay at. Everyone is so nice, our rooms have always been SO clean. The beds are comfortable. I absolutely love staying here. This was our 4th visit. I never wrote a review before,for this Diamond in the ruff. It’s log cabin feel can stand side by side any Hilton . The location is quiet but so easy to find. Absolutely everything. From the log building to the people that keep up this charming getaway.

Pasamos una noche ya que estábamos de paso haciendo ruta y todo estuvo correcto. Un punto importante es que hay un gran supermercado Walmart al lado al que se puede ir caminando para comprar cualquier cosa que se necesite desde ropa, comida, material electrónico etc a muy buen precio. Si estás en las habitaciones a pie de calle, se oye mucho los ruidos de los huéspedes que están encima ya que los suelos son de madera.

Kim (10/5): Awesome place and would totally stay again! - Just the cutest mom & pop motel with great rooms, and an excellent location not far from Franconia and our destination of Polly's Pancake Parlor the next morning. Check in was quick, easy, and friendly! They had every amenity you could think of: tea, coffee, and hot chocolate downstairs, computer & printer in the lobby, outdoor group seating, a propane grill, microwave/fridge in room, balconies & cathedral ceilings in upstairs rooms, hot tub, seasonal pool, perfect location for leaf peeping, hiking, small town/village shopping, and skiing, and it was SUPER clean!!! Walmart is around the corner in case you need to pick up anything you forgot to bring. Walls were a bit thin, mattresses could use an update as well as seat cushions on room chairs, front desk clerk was super nice, but the cigarette smoke smell was very off-putting at check in.

This is probably the best moderately priced one. - The location, setting, fall decor, abundance of furniture to sit in the evening and to arrange your stuff for a multiple day stay. Everything was just thin and worn. Two of the chairs were wooden boxes with cushions that were not cushions anymore and towels and sheets could use updating.

Kyle (10/5): - As a dad traveling with my 8-year-old daughter, I can highly recommend this hotel. We stayed in a single king room, and it was surprisingly huge, giving us plenty of space. Both of us agreed the bed was incredibly comfortable and soft. The room's highlight was the jetted tub, which my daughter absolutely loved! The hotel's amenities were fantastic; we had a blast playing air hockey and pool and relaxing in the jacuzzi. Beyond the great facilities, the entire property was impeccably clean, and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming.
Don (8/5): - It was a pleasantly rustic. Large and clean rooms. Nice pool and yard area and cute tuck away area for the hot tub and gym. The property grounds were inviting. A microwave and a refrigerator in the room however no coffee in room. Coffee in a common area at the hotel. we stay there again. Good value for the price.

Nathan (10/5): - The lady who checked us in was extremely friendly and offered good travel information. Also brochures were available for local info. Room was very clean & spacious with lots of amenities. It had a cozy/warm atmosphere and we loved the cabin atmosphere. Lots of great parking!

Mike Sternad (7/5): Nice view out the back, and comfortable easy chair make up for other missing pieces. - Nice sized room, with plush bed, and a desk. Big picture window out the back to the woods. Best thing was a comfortable easy chair - you hardly every find those these days. Nice restaurant a short walk away. No coffee maker in the room. Not only no hanging closet, but also no hooks to hang anything. There are 10 units that look like the picture, the rest are regular hotel rooms with small seating on the walkway to the rooms. The gym and hot tub were disappointing.

Alissa (6/5): Cute looking place - We live bed the ambiance, the hot tub room was cute and comfortable. The biggest problem was the bed were older and have back neck issues and the bed was an old mattress, no memory foam or even a pillow top, way back, plain mattress that was kinda firm kinda sag. Pillows seem to be a problem in most places. So I slept as well as I could. We just got up and went in the morning didn't think about any photos- room 11. Maybe we'll sleep tonight thenon the plane, we have an all night flight tonight

Cruiser42231728957 (8/5): Time to upgrade tv system! - Every thing was acceptable, the shower was hot and the ac was good. The bed was comfortable. The only suggestions would be a coffee maker and a better tv streaming service and a tv with sleep timer.

Has all the accommodations one could need, town has all anyone needs for a weekend away, so incredibly close to the white mountains! I’ve been coming to the Nootka Lodge for years and it’s truly my favourite place, my dog loves it too!
Staci (8/5): Enjoyed a long, relaxing weekend at the lodge. - It was a great location and a beautiful spot to stay for the weekend. Had several stores and restaurants nearby and convenient to the hotel. We had a nice weekend away from home. The hot tub was on the small side but still made for an excellent relaxing experience. The weather wasn’t warm enough to use the outside pool, but it looked wonderful and very inviting. There was no room cleaning during our stay, but we were able to request needed items - like clean towels - from the front desk.

Kayla (10/5): - We loved this lodge! We stayed 2 nights here, and the lodge was great. It was clean, cozy, and we loved the amenities including the hot tub and pool. It had such a great vibe, it was quiet and the wood themed gave it such a cozy vibe. Would definitely stay here again!

GrandTour21767371531 (8/5): Family gatherings - Clean and very cozy place. Front desk was very helpful with everything needed. Housekeeping was doing their jobs cleaning and restocking necessities. The little town of Woodsville is a little walk away The stores like Walmart, cumberland, shaws, dollars store, DD and job Lots are at convenient locations.
