- JOHN (1/5): Watch out for unclean blankets - bring your own cheese - Very good location I selected this hotel because of its location. Other than that, there was nothing exceptional at all about the hotel. When we arrived, there was a visible stain mark that closely resembled dried sperm on our blanket. We called the front desk and the room service removed the blanket (with a smile) and never brought back a replacement. After spending the night freezing, we requested the front desk send up a replacement blanket – and nothing happened. On the third day we again requested a blanked (after another cold night) and still nothing. Finally, I spoke with the “manager” who really is not empowered to do anything at all. She said the hotel does not have any spare blankets and the proceeded to question me how I knew it was sperm of the original blanket. I advised her that as a 61 year old male, I know what dried sperm looks like. Perhaps the 20 year old that they employ there does not. Moving on, after several more calls and threats a blanket (or perhaps it was a set of folded curtains) did arrive at the room. The hotel also what appears to be a beautiful spa for their guests to enjoy. What potential guest should know, however, is that the spa is limited to only 30 minutes per stay (not per night) and you must first make an appointment to use it. Once you arrive, prepare for a chilly adventure because they do not heat the spa water to any reasonable temperature. As an avid swimmer I would estimate that the spa temperature was 78 degrees Fahrenheit which is PERFECT for lap swimming, but given the pool length of about 10 feet, not exactly appropriate. It was clear the hotel was not interested in heating the spa water for their guest – perhaps a cost saving measure? If you want a hot spa, go to another hotel. Finally, the hotel bragged about their complimentary wine and cheese gathering for guests. Now, on our floor I counted 17 rooms, and the hotel had 4 floors. Assuming 1.5 guests on average per room, that makes for about 102 guests (I assume the hot

Lo staff è stato molto efficace e gentile e ci ha cambiato stanza dove abbiamo trovato una doccia col vetro. Nel futuro, tornerei ma specificherei di non trovarmi in una stanza con la doccia senza vetro.

- Júlia (10/5): Yurbban is here for you to relax - Location for me was 10 out of 10, but really, with Yurbban you get the best of the Sightseeing world: It's right at the junction of El Born, the Gothic quarter and Eixample districts. You can reach the most famous Gaudi houses, Arc the Triomf, and the Born and Gothic alleys or Placa Catalunya on foot; and you still get the quiet for the night. Plus, the entire hotel has a fantastic calming vibe. The scents and decorations, the natural materials used, the music and moody lighting slows you down and already sets up a great ambiance, but the staff really completes it. Everyone I encountered had a slow radiance and positivity. Breakfast is nice quality and variety, totally recommended. My room was super clean with a huge and comfortable bed and a spatious shower, and daily housekeeping did a wonderful job. The spa in the basement is small but nice if you can get it for yourself (slippers and bathrobes come with the room). Do yourself a favour and indulge in a spa treatment. I had a really efficient massage combined with an amazing facial (thanks Cristina!). The rooftop terrace is also great for lounging, with the complimentary wine hour you can stay in and enjoy the views. The rooftop pool is pretty shallow, children can maybe use it for swimming, but it's more for a cool dip in the hot summer months. The shower control has a bit of a learning curve: pull the lever first or you get the rain immediately. Not much of an inconvenience though.

A relaxing interior, phenomenal breakfast, beautiful view from the roof terrace and the discovery of daily wine o'clock...what more do you need? Loved the quirky touches...even when we checked out we were welcome to use all facilities until we left 8 hours later. Thank you to everyone there for a wonderful time.

Blumen in der Lobby, feiner Raumduft. Frühstücksbuffet hätte variabler sein können (Z.B. Iberico Schinken), Semmeln teilweise trocken, Kaffee nespresso und Milch in Thermoskanne (Milch war häufig nicht warm) - Automat mit Cappuccino wäre komfortabler. Spabereich ohne Duschgel und Shampoo (Hygiene!!), Wasser im Pool war nicht sauber.

- Minh Hau (10/5): Une bel hôtel, une expérience très agréable - Hôtel bien placé à moins de 8 minutes à pied de Pl. Catalunya dans le quartier El born. Le cadre est beau, l'accueil est très agréable et professionnel. Tout fonctionnait très bien. Gros plus pour le Spa et la piscine. On peut réserver un créneau de 30 min par jour mais s'il y a de place, le personnel nous laisse profiter des lieux. La vue du rooftop est très sympa. Les environs sont calmes mais j'étais là hors saison. Rien à redire. S'il y avait eu une touche plus locale au petit déjeuner, je l'aurais peut-être pris à l'hôtel.

L’hôtel est très bien situé : à deux minutes à pied de l’arrêt de métro d’Urquinanoa. La salle douche était affreuse. Rien à voir avec les photos. Je suis vraiment déçue .

Every staff member we encountered during our 6 night stay from Luca who checked us in on arrival, to housekeepers, bartenders and servers were kind and informative. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We enjoyed use of the spa, though were disappointed the steam room wasn’t working properly when we there. The sauna was good and hot though. We took advantage of the complimentary bikes for exploring beautiful Barcelona. And we really enjoyed the photo booth and shuffleboard in the evenings. Many reviews said the rooms were small but we found ours to be comfortable (inside room no balcony). We did utilize background noise on iPhone for sleep due to noise from hallway outside room. With this we slept well and found beds to be comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel.

Nie mam żadnych zastrzeżeń jeżeli chodzi o czystość, a jestem pod tym względem naprawdę wymagająca, pokoje były wspaniale przygotowane :) udało na się naprawdę odpocząć i z przyjemnością spędzaliśmy czas w hotelu. Lokalizacja pod kątem zwiedzania Barcelony również rewelacyjna, praktycznie wszędzie chodziliśmy spacerem, a tuż pod nosem była stacja metra i większe węzły komunikacyjne autobusowe. Na pewno będziemy polecać hotel, a jak będziemy wracać do Barcelony to właśnie tu :) Nic :))
- Beate (7/5): Hotel eigentlich ganz schön, wir waren viel unterwegs in Barcelona, deshalb waren die kleinen Mängel für uns nicht so sc - Die Dachterasse war sehr schön, der Pool sehr klein, aber sehr ruhig, das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück war auch gut. Gefallen hat uns nicht, dass das Waschbecken im Flur war, im Bad gab es nur die Toilette und eine Dusche. Es gab viel zu wenig Möglichkeiten etwas aufzuhängen, es fehlten Haken im Bad und auch im Flur. Der Wellnessbereich war leider ein Witz, wenn man Saunagänger ist, ist das nicht der richtige Ort. Es gab insgesamt 6 Plätze im WellnessBereich, keinen Ruheraum, 1 Mini Dampfsauna und eine Mini finnische Sauna. Nach 40 min wurden wir gebeten zu gehen, da die nächsten Gäste schon warten.

Emplacement de l'hôtel parfait, nous avons tout fait à pieds. Pour le prix nous aurions aimé avoir un petit extérieur (balcon). Problème de douche qui a été résolu le 2ème jour.

- 720bryang (10/5): Very friendly and welcoming! - Very friendly and local hotel with an extremely welcoming team. We came in early, jet lagged, and they were extremely helpful. The location is fantastic and you can just wander and explore the old parts of Barcelona.
