Third,it is spotless clean and is cleaned every day,there is everything you could need to cook,eat etc,the bed is comfortable with high qualty mattress and pillows.But most of all, Maria made our stay unforgettable with her generosity and hospitality, starting from the way se organised and paid for our transfer from the airport,providing home made sweets for us every day,shealso lef everything you need for breakfast and snacks for all days, great coffe,sweet tasty bottle of wine and plenty of drinks and gifts. She even let us use her fat for the lastday until 18.00 when our ferry left. Overall, amazing,brilliant,unforgettable,thank you Maria for everything. Nothing,everything was perfect.

• Maria (10/5): - Είναι πραγματικά ένα πολύ καλό κατάλυμα και προσεγμένο. Η οικοδέσποινα ήταν καταπληκτική. Κάθε μέρα μας παρείχε και από ένα χειροποίητο γλυκό, μας είχε ένα δίσκο με διάφορα εδέσματα για πρωινό, καφέδες, μαρμελάδες κλπ. Το δωμάτιο είχε μια πανέμορφη θέα στο λιμάνι και είχε ότι χρειάζεται για να μην έχεις έγνοιες κατά τη διαμονή σου. Η καθαριότητα ήταν καθημερινή και ήταν εξαιρετική επίσης. Η κυρία Μαίρη ήταν διαθέσιμη για οποιαδήποτε απορία και πρόθυμη να σε κατατοπίσει για το πού να πας και τι επιλογές υπάρχουν για το νησί. Δεν υπήρχε κάτι που να μη μας αρεσε!
• ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΑ (10/5): - Όλα ήταν τέλεια!! Καταπληκτική οικοδέσποινα με πραγματικό ενδιαφέρον για τους επισκέπτες!! Μας άφηνε στο δωματιο σπιτικα γλυκάκια που ήταν υπέροχα καθώς και εναν δισκο γεματο καλούδια! Το δωμάτιο ήταν πάρα πολύ καθαρό, ευρύχωρο, υπήρχε καθημερινό καθάρισμα και όλα όσα θα χρειαστεί κανείς για μια άνετη και ευχάριστη διαμονή! Το κατάλυμα είναι σε πολύ βολικό σημείο, κοντά στο λιμάνι, 10 λεπτά με τα πόδια από τη Χώρα και πολυ κοντά σε στάση λεωφορείου! Το συστήνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!!!!

• Katie (10/5): The best hospitality and amazing value - I booked a studio category and we were given a lovely 1 bedroom apartment upstairs with a lovely balcony with views of both the Barbour and hora. We were given lots of treats throughout our stay and the host even paid for our taxi to the airport. She was a sweetheart. The apartment was very well equipped, and immaculate. AC in both the living area and bedroom. We said we did not need bedding/towel changes but she insisted. Really outstanding hospitality Nothing

• Dora (10/5): A sparkling clean comfortable accommodation run by a professional, warm, polite hostess - This was the second time staying at Stampalia Luxury Suits and everything was fantastic once again; the rooms, kitchen and bathroom were sparkling clean, comfortable mattresses, powerful shower, great location within walking distance to all restaurants and the Chora. Balconies overlooking the church bell and the castle with great panoramic views of the sea. Yet again, the highlight of the stay is the hostess Maria; with her warm smile, kindness, openness, generosity elevates the experience to another level that makes you want to come to this place again and again. Allin all, one more exceptional stay at this wonderful place run by the beautiful Maria of our soul.
• Jan (10/5): The best place we have stayed in Greece and we recommend it totally. - The property is tastefully furnished with quality furniture, bed and kitchen appliances. It is well situated a short distance above the port with harbour view. The covered outside area has a small table and chairs plus suspended egg shaped chairs at the front to enjoy the view. The air conditioning works perfectly plus there is good natural air flow. Comfy lounge and the bed is extra large with quality linen. Serviced daily and very clean and fresh smelling. The owner Maria is an absolute gem. Friendly, generous and answers queries promptly and helpfully. She makes fantastic sweets and snacks daily which we loved. A truly wonderful host. Loved everything

It's incredibly well-organized, with windows in every room and a fantastic terrace that's perfect for enjoying any time of day. The kitchen is so well-equipped that you can make coffee in any flavor you can imagine. Every single detail of the studio has been thoughtfully designed to ensure guest comfort. Maria was incredibly helpful and attentive, fulfilling all of our requests upon arrival and communicating with us in a friendly and welcoming manner. She was incredibly kind to us, and we hope to return soon! We were at the end of our vacation, so unfortunately, we couldn't stay longer at the studio.

A bit of a walk up to the chora but this didn’t bother us as we got a car for a couple of the days we were there. Nothing! Maria is a truly wonderful host who thought of everything for our stay and was always on hand to answer any questions. She is the epitome of Greek hospitality.

• Anonymous (10/5): Stampalia is perfect in every respect. - For close to fifty years my wife and I have enjoyed many wonderful holidays in Greece. Recently, at Stampalia in Astypalaia, we enjoyed several perfect days which surpass everything we have hitherto experienced. All Stampalia reviews attest to the hospitality, kindness, generosity and hard work of an amazing host - Maria. We firmly endorse all those positive comments. In common with everyone, we also very much appreciated the comfortable, modern and spotlessly clean accommodation. Moreover, we were also especially touched by Maria’s gestures of kindness, on a daily basis - the lovely cakes and other assorted tasty treats etc. As others have commented, this is not intrusive, by any means, but acts of kindness from a host whose heart is in the right place and simply wants to ‘go that extra mile’. She is most definitely a ‘people person’ who is genuinely enthusiastic about providing the best possible experience for those under her roof. At Stampalia, Maria has set ‘the bar’ very high indeed for providing quality accommodation and hospitality. As with many other visitors, we look forward to returning at the earliest possible opportunity.
• Merdan (10/5): Amazing holiday experience in Maria’s house . - I’ve travelled all Europe, including many places in Greece , and this was the best experience i’ve ever had . Maria is an amazing host, you must meet her , otherwise you can not understand. We stayed in a 2 floor house , at the bade floor there is a kitchen includes everything that you need for cooking, a Living room and a bathroom, at the second floor a double and a single bed and wardrobe. The house is very clean and there is a daily cleaning service. The bathroom has shampoo, towels , bathrope. Maria welcomes you with a bottle of local wine , fruits, a lot of snacks. In the kitchen, greek coffee, tea, milk , illy espresso capsules and a filtre coffee machine is available. There is local honey, and jams, and in the reffigerator, a lot of complimentary drinks , butter , jams exist. . The house is 5 minutes walking distance from the port , 2 minutes to the beach , bus stop and the supermarket. There is a bakery on the Corner, you can walk up to Chora in 5-10 minutes. Maria can sıggest you good restaurantts, beaches, boat tour, easily arange you a taxi or rental Car . Everyday you will find fresh cakes in the refrigerator . Astypalea is a quiet, beautiful Island with perfect beaches, good restaurants with reasonable prices. Go to Astypalea and stay İn Maria’s stampalia luxury houses for a perfect holiday exoerience . You will definetly reel as if you are in your own place. Nothing, everything was perfect.

Every evening coming back from the beach we would find her home made cake in the fridge, everyday something different and every time delicious! The position of the studios are 5 minutes walking from the port and 10 minutes to Chora. The studio has everything you need to prepare breakfast or dinner with a nice terrace to enjoy it. The bathroom has got a big shower and everything is super clean. If we go back to this beautiful island, we would stay 100% at Maria’s Stampalia Studios!

The location was 2minutes away by vehicle from the port and the center of the island. The room was big, clean, full with everything you needed. The studio was prepared and cleaned in daly basis. Additionally we were treated with with a different sweet every day from Maria. There was nothing that we didn’t like.

Immaculate sea and castle view from our balcony, wi fi, air conditioning both in the bedroom and living room and excellent location, steps away from the center of Chora. 100% recommended!

• Trevor (10/5): Perfect stay on a beautiful Greek island. - I can't speak highly enough of Stampalia Studios. They are beautifully appointed and furnished, and are extremely comfortable. Cleaning each day was meticulous. Maria, the proprietor, made us very welcome, even bringing us freshly homemade cakes each day. Generous complimentary food and drinks were also provided. Location is great, looking over the sea, with the old town and nearby tavernas and cafes also convenient. Maria also arranged airport transfers at no extra cost, and provided beach towels too. Nothing could have been better.
• P (10/5): Had the most relaxing week in perfect accomodation thanks to Maria. - Everything. The apartment, the facilities, the location, the host, the drinks & food given to us upon arrival and all the savour food andfresh baked cakes left for us every day of our stay. We were even given a present from our host Maria to take home with us. We have been all over Greece and the Greek islands and have never been treated so well or had such great accomodation. Loved the swing seats on our balcony. Very highly recommend this accomodation. Would give it more than 10 if we could. Nothing. Everything was perfect.
