- Courtney (9/5): The room was perfect for what we needed. We came up to Pretoria for one night to visit a sick relative and having a safe - Air conditioner in the room was a plus. Loved the estate. Felt very safe. Shared balcony isn’t ideal but for our short stay it wasn’t an issue. Having the back gate right there and not being able to use it was very frustrating.

I would also have liked attention to detail eg same cutlery, variety at breakfast, proper coffee and milk in the room, fluffy bath towels, not to leave the tabasco in the sun where you could clearly see it was no good anymore

- Itebogeng (10/5): - The place is well kept and clean. It felt like home away from home. The hot water didn't disappoint at all it was hot throughout our stay. The lady (Goodlady) who helps out was always able to assist and she is very kind, she made our stay beautiful. It is very rare to find a 3 bedroom apartment were all bedrooms have their own bathrooms, that was beautiful loved it. Everyone has their own privacy. Nothing.

- Paul (1/5): Zero Access to the place - I booked it for my Son to stay while he was writing exams. After readig the poor reviews, regarding entry, I called them to confirm his stay wrote them emails, sent SMS's but received zero response On the day of arrival, sure enough, he sat outside the security complex, in the rain, for 2 hours as he couldn't get access to the place. The security guards told him these guys had a failing access system as clients are forever loitering around the security gates due to an ineffective access system. The security guards could not let him in due to their protocol and he called me with this information. I then called them, & tried to contact them with no response. I then booked him another place. As he was leaving, I received an access code for the place!! Definitely WILL NOT be staying there again. I don't think they really like having guests as the guests are not able to get in!!! Zero

They informed me that the apartment was no longer available as it is under construction and they don't have other accommodation for us. Also bad service from Booking.com for confirming our booking and not letting us know. I had to start searching for accommodation for a family of 5 at 18h00 yesterday afternoon. I am very disappointed 😞

- Verushca Johnson (5/5): - The area was very nice and quiet. I booked a three-bedroom apartment for one night for my family of five. According to the listing on Booking.com, Rooms 1, 2, and 3 each had double beds and en-suite bathrooms. However, upon arrival, we found that it was rooms with bathrooms — it was not actually an apartment. To my understanding, an apartment includes a kitchen and a living area for the family. That said, this wasn’t a major issue for us. When we checked in, I was placed in Room 4 instead of Room 3, which appeared to already be occupied. I didn’t mind at the time, as we were in a hurry to head out and watch a show. We just wanted to drop off our bags and leave. The staff did offer a room on the lower floor, but because we had booked as a family and wanted to stay close together, I accepted Room 4, assuming all the rooms were similar. By the time we returned later that night, it was too late to request a change. Unfortunately, Room 4 was very different from Rooms 1 and 2 (and I believe also Room 3). Room 4 was extremely cold. It had no air conditioning like the other rooms — only a wall panel heater, which was broken off the wall (though still functional). The toilet seat was loose and shifted when sat on, the shower drain had green mold, and the basin tap leaked when in use. I considered using the spare blankets from the cupboard due to the cold, but they didn’t appear clean based on how they were folded. While the TV offered access to apps like Netflix and Showmax, you needed your own account to use them. Most frustratingly, the Wi-Fi didn’t work at all in Room 4. Overall, I was very disappointed with Room 4. It did not meet my expectations, especially considering the location. That said, my family was happy with their rooms, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The estate was beautiful. The property was a very long way away from the main gate, and right by the back gate (which we couldn’t use).
- Adele (1/5): Not impressed. The owners really shouldn’t run a ‘guesthouse’. - This is NOT an apartment. There are 3 rooms upstairs and a lounge and kitchen separate downstairs. The absolute bare minimum is done for guests. Breakfast is 7-9am not a minute earlier or later. Breakfast is 2 rashes of bacon, 2 eggs and white bread. Cereal is straight out the box. Banana and questionable apples. The staff, Palesa and Goodlady are fantastic. But the cameras watching you in every corner of the house definitely gives you a clear understanding that the owners are watching. Showers leak. Doors don’t lock. You get one access key for the gate. Honestly, it felt like a hostel. I cancelled future bookings there.

The carpets were so dirty, there was no hot water to shower either in the evening or in the morning, no fridge in the room (it was on the list of room supplies) and the room did not smell nice. It looked like a room you will pay R500 for a night for not a room of a R1200 per night. Very disappointed as we reported it to the manager and still have not received any feedback.

The property was in a security estate of which the closest gate closes at 19:00 and nobody can go in or out. Have to enter at the furthest gate which was a big drive around. When arriving I had to call the property to get a code to enter at the furthest gate without any prior notification...

Their service were exceptional. The lack of service from the manager/owner. She did not reply to any of my messages sent through Booking.com prior to arrival. She also did not send an access code prior to arrival on the day of check-in as she said she would. On their website they advertise it as a four-star establishment, but it is very far from four stars. Our room has a shower over the bath, which is ridiculous in 2024. The breakfast was OK, but nothing exceptional.

Difficult to get to the property as GPS takes one to the nearest estate entrance which is only for residents. Had to drive around estate to other entrance. No code was provided beforehand to enter the gate of the estate once one actually gets there. Had to phone the property to get a code. Door to room did not lock and one needed to lock it with a key as it opened easily when pushing the door. An alarm sounded each time when door was closed. Door to communal stoep was not locked. Safe did not work; no batteries and lockbolts were protruding. Breakfast was awful.
