Everything was beautifully arranged, and the atmosphere was elegant and memorable. A special thank you to Anushima Kodikara for being extremely helpful, professional, and supportive from the reservation stage until the end of the function. She ensured that every detail was handled perfectly and coordinated everything smoothly throughout the entire process. She never hesitated to accommodate any request we made, even with our last minute changes, and always handled everything with great care and professionalism. The buffet was absolutely delicious as well. Huge thanks to Executive Chef Suresh Kahadawala and his team for serving such a tasty and well prepared spread that all our guests enjoyed. Highly recommended for family functions and special occasions !

Who seemed to build a lovely bond with my Kenyan partner very quickly and was there to greet us at every meal and even at checkout. The room was beautiful. The dinner food had so much choice and puts you in a food coma The views were pleasant too! The laundry service wasn't able to complete our laundry in a rush . There was no standing fan. The breakfast didn't have any mangos or chocolate crossiants which we were disappointed about.

Food was average, limited veg and jain options and available jain and veg buffet food was cold and not tasty at all. , we emailed meal preference earlier but still nothing done specifically for veg and jain food. On arrival day dinner was not good at all, next day breakfast was little better. One mirchi fritters with veg symbol has fish masala in it, if we had not asked specifically for each dish, we would have consumed by mistake considering it veg. We asked to prepare dal Khichdi but it was not cooked properly, no masala no lemon just bland Dal and rice. One suggestion to keep all pure veg without egg stuff on separate counters , else One can interchange spoon and mix veg non veg egg stuff. Kids area , indoor games area and swimming pool we just checked from outside, no staff were there , we wanted tonplay Foosball but no staff was there and ball wasn't present there.

The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, and offer lovely views, making the stay extremely relaxing for families. What truly left a lasting impression, however, was the exceptional hospitality of the staff — especially Mr. Wijekoon from the Savana restaurant. He went completely out of his way to help us with our baby’s food requirements, accommodating unusual meal timings and even arranging specially prepared items whenever needed. His kindness, warmth, and genuine willingness to help made a huge difference to our stay. The entire staff at the property was courteous, supportive, and always ready to assist with a smile. We genuinely felt cared for throughout our visit and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kandy, especially families traveling with young children.

The room had new technology that I have never experienced before in a Sri Lankan hotel, which made the stay feel very special. The infinity pool was one of the best parts of our stay. It felt very safe, and even my wife was able to enjoy swimming comfortably. The view from the pool was absolutely beautiful. The food was really good as well, with different cuisines and plenty of options to choose from. - Andreas (3/5): Enttäuscht. - Wir waren nur eine Nacht in dem Hotel und haben uns für ein ordentliches Check - In um 02.00 pm. angemeldet. Wir waren um 02.45 pm. im Hotel und unser Zimmer war nicht bereit. Wir waren letztendlich um 03.45 pm. mit Gepäck auf dem Zimmer. Wir konnten das Hotel nicht wie geplant geniessen, da wir um 04.30 pm. bereits einen weiteren Termin für eine Tempelbesichtigung hatten. Ich forderte das Team der Rezeption dazu auf, dass ich mit dem Vorgesetzten sprechen möchte. Leider klappte auch das nicht. Am Tag der Abreise - kurz bevor wir in unser Fahrzeug eingestiegen sind, kam die Vorgesetzte und entschuldigte sich knapp. Trotz einem weiteren Mail an das Hotel und ihr Versprechen, dass die Situation mit dem Management besprochen werde, hörten wir nichts mehr. Das Restaurantteam war top, sehr nett. Die Hospitality entspricht jedoch nicht dem Preis den wir für eine Nacht bezahlt haben und erst recht nicht einem 5 Sterne Hotel. Da hat das Schwesterhotel, Golden Ridge in Nuwara Elyia, eindeutig die Nase vorn.

After realizing I had lost my pearl bracelet only once I got home, I contacted the hotel Assistant Front Office Manager Minon Rodrigo, who responded immediately. She quickly coordinated with the security team and personally took the effort to assist me, even arranging for CCTV footage to be reviewed and shared. The security department and Ms. Minon Rodrigo was incredibly supportive and cooperative throughout, showing great professionalism and care. Although I later found the bracelet in my car, I am truly grateful for the time, effort, and reassurance the team provided. Their kindness and dedication made a stressful situation much easier, and it speaks volumes about the level of service at the hotel. Thank you once again for your outstanding support.

We came early yo the hotel but the room was not ready we came before 2 pm but Minon took us around the hotel and escorted us to the restaurant to have lunch. By the time we came down she gave us the room. She is very humble and kind. Thanks Minon you were really helpful. Highly recommend. We will come back soon.
- 160aaminai (6/5): “The last hour of our stay completely shifted our opinion” - First off this hotel is fantastic. From the rooms to the food at the breakfast buffet, even the amenities and the staff were all so amazing. In fact we even planned to return in a month for a family trip with our relatives who were coming down to Sri Lanka. Unfortunately an hour before the check out we were treated very rudely by a female reception staff. The night before our checkout, my father made a call to the front desk and requested to have an hour extra before we checkout. Check out time was 12pm and the gentleman at the front desk agreed to extend it to 1 pm, at no cost. The next day at around 11.50 pm we get a call from the front desk from a very impolite female staff asking why we haven't left yet. Then my dad explained the situation and she very reluctantly said she would check and call us back. She never ended up calling us. Again around 12.45 pm we get a call to our room (we were all packed and just about to step out). I pick up the call this time, and it was the same lady. In a very sarcastic tone she proceeded to ask us that it's nearly 1 pm and why we haven't left yet. I respond saying we are just about to step out now. She cuts me off, in a threatening tone she says "If you are not down before 1 pm, we will charge you" Even during the checkout procedure this particular staff was very loud and behaved in the most impolite manner. We have been to several high end hotels and this was the first time we have had such an experience. I wonder if it was a foreign guest if the treatment would have been the same, as there has been an increase in events of partiality towards locals, in the hospitality industry. We only stayed till 1 pm because it was agreed upon in advance, if it wasn't possible we would have certainly checked out at 12pm. Before this incident happened our probability of returning was at 100% but no matter how minor, this incident instantly reduced it to a zero

Honestly, after visiting multiple hotels in Kandy (and some not even answering calls), this level of service really stood out. - TOmb152014 (10/5): Fantastic hotel to explore Kandy. - We stayed here during our recent tour of Sri-Lanka. This hotel is Five Star all the way. We were lucky to stay here at the same time as the England Cricket team during the T20 World Cup. The hotel appears to have been fully updated with rooms fully upgraded, new carpets, paint and a fantastic Bathroom. The rooms are all very quiet and private. We greatly enjoyed this this wonderful hotel. The hotel is located 25 mins form Kandy and is elevated offering grat views. The roof top bar and pool are great, with a wide selection of dishes and drinks. The evening meals offered a very wide range of foods and I am confident that there would be something for everyone. This hotel offers good value for money and is first class space to stay. Overall I would strongly suggest that this hotel provides a fantastic location to stay during your Sri-Lankan experience.

I was well looked after by a fantastic team led by Mihirini Shanali (front office), and including my wonderful driver Chamila Ranawaka Everything was perfect!

They had allocated client service staff ( Ms Mihirini) and she was so helpful and always checked on us. She gave her WhatsApp number and it was so useful and everything were message away. Communication via WhatsApp made our stay very easy and hassle free .Specially for families this kind of personal service means a lot. Also they have a play area for kids and adults. Our kids loved the play time. This was another plus for the hotel. Food was awesome .We had a wonderful stay and planning to come back for sure. Highly recommend. Shower could have bit bigger as it was little hard for kids to have shower compared to room size. (Not a negative point but something to consider in future)
- Benjamin (10/5): This 5-star hotel has all the convieniences you could wish for, set few minutes from Kandy in a peaceful valley. - The hospitality of staff is second to none, the room we had was very spacious, we had a wonderful and knowledgeable tour driver Wasantha who took us to many sites in around Kandy. The infinity pool and bar area are really excellent and the dinner buffet is good value. Some parts of the hotel could do with modernization.

- Toma (8/5): Pleasant stay thanks to the staff, though not quite 5 stars - The staff really went above and beyond to compensate for the hotel's downsides. We received a free upgrade to a significantly better room in the renovated part of the hotel. Moreover, they treated us to a surprise afternoon tea with light bites right by the infinity pool. Overall, despite the issues with the facilities, we are extremely satisfied with the level of service we received. The hotel doesn't quite live up to its 5-star rating. There is an older, unrenovated section where the overall appearance and furniture are quite worn out. They haven't put much thought into guest entertainment—there are a few table tennis tables, but the paddles and balls are in terrible condition, and the pool table doesn't even have chalk. We tried the massages but were not satisfied. Furthermore, there is nothing interesting around the hotel: no sights, no places for a walk, and no shopping. We constantly had to rely on taxis, which were both expensive and never arrived on time. Another very frustrating issue was the pricing. Even though we booked half a year in advance, we found out that making a last-minute booking on the same day or directly at the hotel is actually cheaper. This pricing policy feels completely illogical and unfair to early bookers.

- Mirjami (8/5): - Sijainti oli hyvä, näköala upea. Allasalue oli viihtyisä. Henkilökunta palvelulatista. Ala carte ravintola oli surkea kokemus. Kahvi oli huonoa, aamupalaa lukuunottamatta ravintolassa tarjottiin pikakahvia mikä oli pettymys.
- Reut (10/5): - מלון מושלם! לכבוד חגיגות ירח הדבש שלנו קישטו לנו את החדר והשאירו לנו עוגה (טעימה ברמות!), בנוסף החדר מהמם עם מרפסת לנוף ירוק ומקסים. הוא מצויד בכל מה שצריך ומעבר - יש גם אמבטיה מפנקת וגם חדר נפרד למקלחון. מעבר לכך קיים חדר משחקים עם טניס שולחן, שולחנות סנוקר וכדורגל שולחן לשימוש האורחים עם נוף עוצר נשימה. וכמובן בריכת האינפיניטי המפנקת בגג - פשוט מושלם! ממליצים ממש! אהבנו הכל!

I booked a presidential suite to celebrate valentines with my wife. chathurika ( Chathu) the guests relations executive was very welcoming and has been very supportive throughout. The infinite pool is awesome with breathtaking views. presidential suite need to be improved interior wise.
