- Enikö (9/5): - There was complementary water, coffee, and tea. One could sit on the terrace with a wonderful view on the harbour. The apartment is really large. One can choose between air conditioning or just a fan, which for me was a plus. Calvin was really helpful with suggesting taxies, restaurants, and things to do. The wifi is good. The house is perfect if you like to walk (or have a car). The house is a little outside of the town, 25 min till the "centre". If you don't like walking, you need a car. Most activities on the island are organised from St, John's. So, if you want that you need again a car to get there in time. But this is not the fault of Villa Touloulou.
- Zana (10/5): Definitely had the "Wow!" factor! - Fabulous, huge apartment with stunning views from our massive wrap-around balcony. Air con in the bedroom was a very welcome bonus. A proper well-equipped kitchen and big fridge-freezer, so we could actually cook and eat in if we wanted to. The whole place was really comfortable and felt luxurious. Even the toiletries were lovely. Room service was included (wasn't expecting that). We were there 8 nights and had towels (including beach towels!) changed 3? times and bed linen changed once. A very welcome surprise on our final day was when the manager called and offered a later check-out, which was perfect as we had just devised a really complicated plan involving walking quite a distance with all our luggage, as the flight wasn't until much later in the day. We really weren't looking forward to that! Good Wifi. Locally, there's a brewery making/serving English-style ale 10 mins walk away (limited opening) with food outlets and garden games. Great, if that's your vibe. Other local bars/eateries to choose from too. Small supermarket also approx 10 mins walk. (Beaches are a lot further away - see next section.) Hummingbirds in the garden, finches and bananaquits visiting the balcony, lizards, geckos..? Oh and did I mention the stunning views?! I really miss those views! The apartment was lovely. The housekeeper and manager were also kind and responsive. My only complaint is that I found the pillows on the bed far too thick, which gave me neck and back pain, disrupting my sleep, because my head was pushed up and out of alignment with my spine. I ended up swapping the pillow with a flatter cushion from the living room and putting a pillow case over it, which solved the problem. A couple of thinner pillows along with the fatter ones, so people can choose, might be helpful. None of what follows is a criticism, just things to be aware of if you're thinking of booking. The slope and steps up to our apartment were killing in the heat. Not for the faint-hearted or if you're a bit wobbly on your feet. You need to be of reasonable fitness. Even if you hire a car, the carpark is at the bottom of the slope and steps. (Some apartments are on lower floors, so not everyone has such a big climb.) We didn't have a car and beaches are a long walk away. We walked to Pigeon Point regularly and it's about 30 mins walk, in the heat. Of course, there are bars/eateries along the way if you fancy taking it slow. (Zelma's was our favourite lunch stop.)
- William (9/5): Perfect stay for a small family - will come back! - Very spacious apartment. Lovely views. Convenient parking at entrance door. Great well equipped kitchen. Appreciated the fitting of baby gates to ensure safety for our toddler. Calvin and Orlanja were very helpful and welcoming I think some mosquito screen doors at both exits to balcony would allow for better airflow while keeping the bugs out!

Host was great. - Host Calvin provided a great orientation to the property and checked in with us on the second day to make sure everything was good. He also booked a driver to meet us at the airport which was great. We were very appreciative of the coffee/tea/juice/milk provided and the welcome cold beer offered us on arrival. Our private outdoor seating areas were a wonderful place to enjoy the quiet of the evening and watch the sunset. Mostly all was good but one of the bar chairs had a broken back. We could not find suitable baking dishes for the oven (we planned to cook dinner one evening) but generally our other kitchen needs were met.

Our host, Calvin, was exceptional - always ready to help and made us feel welcome, providing us with all we needed for our first morning on the island. We would definitely use the Villa again! The kitchen could do with a couple items such as a chopping board and if you intend sitting out on the terrace (which we recommend) don't forget the mosquito repellent.

Well equiped kitchen with complementary salt/pepper, water and even two cans of beer. (After the long distance flight it was exactly what I liked) Short walk to next mini-market und to English Harbour with restaurants, bars etc.

Kitchen was on the small side and I had to use a saucepan for cooking a dish in the oven. There was only one shallow oven tray, no oven dishes.

Comfortable very large bed, air conditioning in bedroom excellent. Well equipped kitchen and we appreciated the welcome pack of milk, beers, juice and bottled water. Also a bottle of prosecco for New Year's Eve. Regular changes of towels and bed made up, felt like hotel service. No real complaints although our hire car had problems driving into the steep parking area due to it's low body. Should be no problem for most vehicles.

- Alyson (10/5): Heavenly apartments with glorious views. - We loved staying at Villa Touloulou where we enjoyed the one bedtimes option in Glory Lily. The location and views were excellent and the interior great room with marvellous cook’s kitchen were superb. But like most I guess we lived on the gorgeous huge veranda looking down at the beautiful Falmouth Harbour. We had regular towel changes by excellent helpful housekeeping, a treat not often seen in stays of only a week or so in self catering. Calvin who manages the property was very welcoming giving us loads of tips about where to go and answered any questions immediately whilst we were there. We loved it and will go back when we are next in Antigua which we plan to be December 2025 Nothing

Nothing I can think of that was wrong. The mosquitoes are the only part we found a problem but I imagine it’s the worst time for that in November.

Location is great to get to English Harbour/Nelson’s Dockyard and . A variety of restaurants are close by as well as The Crab Hole and Convent Garden for grocery/beer needs. Calvin was amazing at communicating. We needed a late check in and Calvin met us at the property after dark. I’d recommend a 4x4 just in general to drive around the island. Nothing.

- Tracy (10/5): Another Wonderful Stay - Upon our arrival, the apartment was clean with frequent housekeeping during dour 11-day stay.. The apartment is comfortable with great wifi and air conditioning. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed to store, cook, and heat up food. The location is serene and peaceful. The property manager Calvin is very friendly and helpful. The bed is comfortable. Seven years ago, I stayed at Villa Touloulou, and it is wonderful to return and experience another successful stay. I liked everything about the apartment with one exception. In my view, the toilet sits a little low, and it would be great to have a higher seated toilet.

- Sarah (9/5): Gorgeous hillside apartment with great views - This is the fourth booking we have made at Villa Touloulou. We keep coming back because it's so lovely. There are five apartments in the building of varying sizes, and because of the hillside location, all have wonderful views across Falmouth Harbour. The villa is modern, clean and stylishly decorated, with well-tended gardens full of trees, flowering shrubs and birds. The top floor apartment (the latest one we have tried) has the best views. Essentially it's a spacious studio room, with a large four poster bed, desk and a sitting area, with ensuite bathroom, and the kitchen and dining table are outside on the balcony. This may sound unusual, but works fine in practice, as it's a lovely place to hang out - even during the occasional rainstorm, as the side shutters can be closed. When it's very hot outside, the room inside is air-conditioned. We had everything we needed, and Calvin the host was easily contactable. This might not suit you if you have mobility issues, as it's situated up an extremely steep hill and the top apartment is up a flight of stairs. But if you are mobile and packed some trainers, the opportunities for walking are wonderful. It's about 15 minutes walk to shops, cafes and restaurants, 25 minutes walk to Nelson's Dockyard, and 30 minutes walk to gorgeous sandy beaches (Pigeon Beach just beyond the Falmouth marina or Galleon Beach on English Harbour).

- David (10/5): Beautiful accommodation that surpassed expectations and that was beautifully presented. - The views and the peaceful location of Villa Touloulou were fantastic - as were the array of birds who'd often join us on the balcony for breakfast, the bananaquits being our favourites. There was a bit of a walk (about 20 mins) into the main English Harbour area, but it wasn't too bad. The drive to the top apartment is pretty steep, but you get used to it.

Warmly greeted at the agreed time by lovely Calvin who showed us around and helped with restaurant and beach suggestions. The apartment is beautifully furnished. We were on the top floor and the veranda and view was to die for. Beautiful sunsets while preparing dinner in the outdoor kitchen. Ten to fifteen minutes walk to nearest restaurant. It is uphill right at the end, but that is a small price to pay for the magnificent view. Nice little touches like the very welcome cold beers and juice in the fridge. Also milk, tea, coffee and sugar. Two beach chairs and beach towels came in very handy. We thoroughly recommend. Thank you very much for a lovely stay. Nothing Yes the track up to the property is a bit pot holey, but so is the whole of Antigua!! Just drive slowly around them - it’s part of the fun!
- Agnieszka (10/5): Perfect honeymoon - The villa is well equipped and in a very convenient location. The entire accomodation is much larger than we initially expected. There is pretty much everything you need for a stay there and the hosts are always willing to help with any questions. Their responses are immediate! We stayed on the ground floor, therefore, the view at the harbour was somehow limited but still very relaxing to sit down in the evening and enjoy a drink. The nearest beach was GAlleon Beach and it was our absolute favourite - we kept going back there multiple times throughout our stay. The beach offers everything you need from Antigua - sand, snorkeling, great food and drinks. Our flight back was at 8pm and the host allowed us to check out late which was a perfect way to end our beautiful honeymoon. Thank you. We would happily return. The only real issue is the poor condition of the road that needs to be driven up to reach the villa but we appreciate that's not something that is within the hosts' control.

- Tyler (10/5): Great location, great price and an overall great experience. - The rooms at Villa Touloulou were larger than expected. With ample space to sit out on the patio and relax while eating breakfast. The host was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the area and helped us with all our questions and requests. There was little to not like about our stay. The only issue we had was that one side of the bed did have a dip in it but this was extremely minor in the grander scheme of things.
- Barry (9/5): Relaxing, enjoyable, plenty to see and we didn't lose both cricket matches. - The view was excellent from our top floor apartment. Helpful and friendly manager made us most welcome. The villa exceeded our expectations. Favourite beach was Pigeon Point. Top meal at Catherine's but a little ££. The only downside was the track leading to the apartment car park. There were several pot-holes but we're used to those in the UK!

- Michelle (10/5): Fantastic apartment with best views ever - looking forward to going again! - Location and views were amazing and Calvin was so helpful. Facilities were great. We ended up not going out to a restaurant at all and just self catered as the view from our balcony was so fantastic - hard to beat ! Mozzies were the one and only bugbear and tjose you get every where - just remember to cover up and use repellent.

- Dylan (8/5): Very comfortable stay overall with quality finishes in a spacious apartment. - Beautiful view. Large room and bathroom. Full kitchen. Beer, juice, milk and water provided was a nice touch. The wifi could have been better. It dropped the signal often.
- Gaynor (9/5): Lovely Villa , Beautiful grounds , great apartment, excellent guest support and wonderful warm and friendly Antiguan wel - Facilities in the apartment , lovely grounds and excellent customer service . The dirt track leading to the property could be an issue in the dark to navigate and especially when it rained as parts of it would become flooded . Also it would be helpful to have a direction sign to the Villa from the main road , it took us a little while when we arrived to find the right turn off . As the property is up a little hill and a 20 minute walk or so away from the main Harbour Town area to the bars and restaurants some guests might find access / getting around difficult without a car . We like to walk so for us walking to and from town and to the Beach etc was not an issue . Public transport is very limited on the Island so without a car it is difficult to get around and explore more of the Island .
- William (10/5): Very relaxing and beautiful view - This was a great location! Beautiful view of the water and easy access to some great hiking trails, restaurants, and grocery stores. Calvin was very nice and helpful.
- Sherri (10/5): Exceptional - The location of Villa Toulou is great - it's only a 5-minute drive to Nelson's Dockyard national part, which was a big draw for us. It's also close to several restaurants. It's on a hill, though, which makes mornings nice and quiet. Calvin, the property manager, was there to greet us as was available to answer any questions we had and gave us restaurant suggestions, too. I would definitely stay here again! Our little rental car couldn't make it up the hill to the top parking lot but getting up the stairs from the lower parking lot wasn't bad.
- Eleanor (10/5): Excellent hosts and property - Beautiful building which is close to Nelson's Dockyard. Views were amazing and the rooms very spacious/comfortable. Calvin and Christophe were wonderfully attentive hosts - especially Calvin who was always happy to help if needed and gave us great restaurant recommendations/ activities to do. They would also provide us with fresh fruit from the property's own garden (limes, pineapple, mangoes and advocado). They truly made our time more enjoyable and comfortable and we would definitely stay again! Nothing to dislike! We couldn't recommend this place more!
- Jane (9/5): We loved it and would willingly go back. - The owner kept us fully informed amd was exceedingly helpful in getting us settled in. there were even a few essentials in teh fridge for us. The view was awesome. The climb up to it, bit steep but the owner came down and helped carry bags etc.

- Alec (10/5): Wonderful stay! - The villa had an excellent view of the harbor, and the rooms were clean and spacious, with well-shaded outdoor seating to stay out of the sun while lounging. AC in the bedroom worked great. The manager, Calvin was very friendly and attentive and had pre-stocked some essentials (milk, tea, juice, bottled water) for us when we arrived. Nothing really - mosquitoes were the only annoyance and there is no fix for that (and they weren't too bad).
