- ROBERT SUTTOR (1/5): Enjoyed the room and location, just not the behaviour downstairs from my room. Designated staff room - When a quest is staying in double room own suite. Staff room and quarters staff underneath need a cut of time around 10pm. Both nights i had to ask the people underneath weather they were staff or not, to keep it down im trying to sleep this was 11pm and 11.15pm. Not acceptable. When you have a guest upstairs in a suite should be 10pm cut off. No more noise or smoking bongs. As above, unacceptable behaviour.

- Edual07 (7/5): El alojamiento más cálido de Hobart. - La calidez del personal, su vocación de servicio al huésped. Muy atentos, especialmente el muchacho que estuvo en nuestro último día. Quizá los baños. faltaba mejorar la ventilacion y el dispensador de papel higiénico aveces lo encontrabas en el suelo. Después el lugar me pareció muy bueno, una vibra agradable y familiar. Punto extra son las dinámicas de integración (juegos) que hacía el personal con los huéspedes.

It’s a typical backpacker hostel with lots of socialising. The kitchen and other shared facilities were very crowded and not well organised.

- Carlos A. (10/5): Cozy weekend in Hobart - The whole place it is amazing, my wife and I loved the murals, and the kindness of the staff and the frog aparment very nice and huge! An small problem in the roof of the aparment but at the same time undertandable for an old building not a biggy

- Marco (5/5): Leider wurde geraucht auf dem Zimmer. - Die Lage des Gebäudes, die Ausstattung der Küche sowie die Aufenthaltsräume selbst. Die Manager waren unkulant gegenüber dem Fakt, dass die Preise für die Touren falsch deklariert worden waren. Zudem empfand man die Preise als nicht nachvollziehbar hoch. So wurden für eine 2-Personen-Tour auf Bruny Island ganze 120 australische Dollar gefordert. Zudem wurde in Zimmern geraucht.

There was lots going on here, so many activities, and it’s quite social which is nice if you’re looking to make friends but not go far. Only one shower in the girls bathroom had hot water but maybe that was just a fluke. The beds were pretty rickety as well. Other than that the toilets were nice and clean!

- Ryan (7/5): Decent place to stay but other tenant might not be respectful - Location is very strategic, really close to most places in cbd. Staff make sure to clean the room and common area almost everyday which I appreciate - Door lock on my room suddenly broken when I came back one day. It just didn't lock. Not sure what happen but it makes me worry abkut my stuff. - Area under the bed are not cleaned regularly, understandable since people leave at different times which sometime might make it hard to do a thorough clean. - Not the lodge's fault but on my first night, the backpacker sleeping below me on the bunk bed keep kicking my bed and the bed frame throughout the night because I was snoring. Keep in mind that the other 2 people in the room also snore, but I'm the closest to her so I'm the main victim of her anger. Then when she made sure I was woken from the kick, she will occassionally hit the other bed to make sure everyone that snores wake up too so that she can sleep without noise. I barely had any sleep on my first night because of that.

- Kati (3/5): - The staff was very nice and helpful and seem very social Unfortunately, we can’t leave a good review. The hostel is completely outdated, metal beds are creaking with every movement and shaking if anyone gets in or out. No privacy curtains and a loud banging door. Room was super hot, despite the open window there was no air coming in, leaving us with a sleepless night. Kitchen and bathroom were messy and not clean. We only stayed one night and will not come back.

Location about 700 metre from a major supermarket and short walks to cafe's and restaurants was a bonus. Met lots of travellers from many countries so great for socialising. Beds were ok but not that comfortable. Could be very noisy at night with loud conversations till 2 am. Very hard to regulate guest behaviour in a busy hostel.

Unfortunately needs plenty love and more clean and care ...in general. !!!!. For this really extraordinary place and concept. Boys in the reception are very kind ....mostly the guest are longterm guest .. don't miss the frogs every where ! Awesome ! Thank you I booked a female room and where boys too, my room was very dirty..bed could be little more comfortable.
