• Francois (9/5): Séjour absolument remarquable à Essaouira - Outre l’accueil et le service exceptionnel que nous avons reçu de toute l’équipe de la Riad Émotion, nous avons été éblouis par la beauté du Riad et l’attention aux petits détails; Fleurs dans la chambre, biscuits et thé, etc… Encore merci à Gisèle et son fils pour leur accueil chaleureux et authentique. Ils nous ont fait sentir comme si nous habitions dans la famille ou encore mieux, des amis de longues dates. Rien de majeur mais quelques petits travaux devaient être complétés dans notre salle de bain après notre départ dont la cuvette de toilettes qui bougeait sur son socle.

• Francois (10/5): Notre séjour fut Exceptionnel et le Riad charmant. Elle a de loin dépassée nos attentes. - L’accueil de la propriétaire et de son fils fut fabuleux. Énormément d’attention dans les détail tel que chandelles allumées partout en soirée, pétales de rose et fleurs partout, sent-bon dans la penderie, pantoufles, biscuits à profusion, etc… Un incident mécanique s’était produit dans notre salle de bain avant notre arrivée mais qu’ils étaient a réparer. La cuvette bougeait sur son socle mais devait être réparé immédiatement après notre départ. Détail mineur.

The room had a lot of rose petals and some cookies, which was a nice touch, and the staff helped us book a few things. Good water pressure. A nice bed with great pillows. Riad Emotion is on every single list as a "best of" property for Essaouira. I definitely liked it, but I'm not sure it's anything more than any of the other spots and it's not exactly the cheapest, at around $100 to $150 when we were there. I liked it, but I'm not sure why it's seeming more expensive to be honest.

• Lidia (10/5): Wonderful Riad - Wonderful Riad with a lovey decoration and staff + owner. Very helpful all along the stay. We arrived late, but they received us with a warm Welcome. The breakfast on the roof terrace was outstanding and we enjoyed it very much. Great location
• Jenny (10/5): - The room was stylish, well equipped and very comfortable, with beds made and towels refreshed every day. There was wonderful artwork all around the Riad and several areas where you could sit, relax and appreciate the calm and ambience. The staff were very welcoming and it was a joy at breakfast every morning to hear laughter coming from the kitchen. The breakfast itself was wonderful - eggs, yoghurt, fruit, jams, bread, fresh orange juice - you could easily sit there for hours!

• Petra (10/5): petfekt*** - Das Riad ist unglaublich klasse,außergewöhnlich und mit so viel Liebe und Fürsorge durch dad Personal wie wir uns es nicht besser hätten erträumt können. Wi wurden mit feuchten Tüchern für die Hände begrüßt, es wurde Tee,Wasser und Kuchen zur Begrüßung und jeden Nachmittag serviert, das Zimner mit Rosenblättern auf dem Bett sowie im Bad selbst im WC. Das Frühstück war gigantisch und auf der Dachteteasse zu den Liegen ein Tuch sowie Sonnenhut liebevoll bereitgelegt.Die Hausdame hat alle Wünsche, wenn man einen zusätzlich gehabt hätte ( für mich Coca Cola) erfüllt. Wir waren 3 Nächte dort und kommen wieder!!! Dankeschön für so viel Service und Liebe. Petra und Uwe gar nichts
• olivier (10/5): Vacances Emotion - Magnifique Riad au cœur de la Médina. On ce sent comme chez soi. Le petit déjeuner est un régal, la décoration magnifique et tout le personnel aux petits soins. Nous avons apprécié, à notre arrivée les bons conseils et les endroits à voir par le fils de la propriétaire et sa disponibilité. C'est sur que si nous avons l'occasion de revenir à Essaouira nous réserverons à nouveau au Riad Emotion. Rien, tout est parfait.

• Ricarda (10/5): 12 von 10 Punkten! - Im Riad Emotion werden alle Erwartungen übertroffen. Es ist wunderschön und geschmackvoll, mit viel Kunstverstand und Liebe eingerichtet. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Was dieses Riad aber ganz besonders macht, sind die Details: Frische Blumen, am Abend Kerzen, die auf den Treppen den Weg weisen, das Angebot Tee zu bekommen, sobald man sich auf der wunderbaren Dachterrasse aufhält, ausgewählte Musik, die den Frühstücksraum erfüllt, Stoffservietten zum Frühstück… Das Frühstück ist sehr fein und hochwertig. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Und das Riad ist eine Oase der Ruhe mitten in der Medina. Wenn ich könnte, würde ich 12 von 10 Punkten vergeben. Wir haben uns wahnsinnig wohlgefühlt. Vielen Dank!! Nichts!
• Dr. Cornelia (10/5): - Das Riad ist ein Traum, wir würden sofort wieder buchen. Zimmer und Bad sind sehr groß und sehr schön eingerichtet. Und jeden Tag werden frische Rosenbläter in Zimmer und Bad verteilt! Die Besitzerin und ihr Team sind unglaublich freundlich und stehen jederzeit zur Verfügung. Das Frühstück ist lecker und immer frisch (frisch gepresster Saft, Obstsalat, selbstgemachter Joghurt, selbstgemachte Marmeladen, Eier, was immer das Herz begehrt) und jeden Tag etwas anders. Tagsüber werden häufig nochmals Tee und Kuchen angeboten und auch die Dachterrasse ist herrlich. Wir können es nur empfehlen!

Die Lage ist perfekt, ideal, um die Stadt zu Fuss zu erkunden. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet und strahlen eine gemütliche, authentische Atmosphäre aus. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend, frisch, üpig und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist top. Absolut empfehlenswert!
• Mike Inglis (10/5): a wonderful relaxing Riad where you are looked after like family - Breakfast was a feast of fresh fruit, homemade yogurt, breads, cakes and homemade jams - a wonderful experience. It was only surpassed by the warmth and care shown us by wonderful owner Gisele and her fantastic staff Samira and Hayalt who brought tea and cakes to our room in the late afternoon any time we were around. Really you are treated like family members and the Riad itself is beautiful, filled with outsider art and beautiful objects and furnishings. It is central and safe and the welcome is warm, generous and authentic. it was perfect

The smell of sewage in the bathroom, but, when located in the old town, we can't really blame our nice hostess....
• Charlotte (9/5): A peaceful haven in the heart of Essaouira - We had a wonderful stay at Riad Emotion, the team looked after us incredibly well, going out of their way to make our trip to Essaouira as comfortable as possible and accommodate our requests. Hayaat and her team provided an amazing breakfast every day - on the incredible roof terrace. The central location was perfect for us allowing us to venture our into the medina every morning, and only a short walk away from the port and the beach. It was also very peaceful as it was just set back from the main road. Thank you! No comments - we were very happy with our stay!

The location is perfect for exploring the medina, with the riad itself then providing an oasis of calm afterwards, with lots of lovely spots to relax and read in. The women who work there are lovely and the owners were very helpful in providing recommendations for places to go and making reservations for us. We would definitely stay again!
• Derek (10/5): An exceptional special Riad in the heart of the Medina - This riad is exceptional in every way. It presents as an oasis of calm, of comfort, care and civility. The thought and care that goes into every aspect of the accommodation is palpable. It is rare to come across this combination of discerning taste, genuine care for the comfort of guests and sustained aesthetic presence throughout the accommodation. The owners, Gisele and Phillipe are exceptional warm courteous and caring hosts. They are assisted by an excellent small team of housekeepers who also provide an outstanding individually prepared breakfast. I was in the Tuyua room, which had all I needed and more. I was fortunate indeed to spend my three nights en route to Scotland here in Essaouira. This is in all respects a very special place in my view, located in the heart of the Medina. Nothing!

• Gilbert (10/5): RIAD EXCEPTIONNEL - Le Riad Émotion est très apaisant. Sa décoration est très typique, mais aussi très cocooning, fait avec beaucoup de goût ; nous sommes au centre de la Médina mais c’est d’un calme absolu. Gisèle est au petit soin, le petit déjeuner fait maison est très copieux, ses couchages sont très confortables et elle est de très bon conseil pour la découverte d’Essaouira et ses alentours. Merci également à Hayett et Samira pour la qualité de leurs services.

• ILHAME (10/5): Un véritable coup de cœur ! - Dès notre arrivée, l’accueil a été chaleureux, avec une boisson de bienvenue accompagnée de délicieux gâteaux. La chambre, décorée avec un goût exquis, offre une literie d’excellente qualité et de superbes linges de lit. Les peignoirs à disposition sont très appréciables et ajoutent une touche de confort supplémentaire. Aucun détail n’est laissé au hasard : bouilloire et cafetière Nespresso à disposition, salle de bain spacieuse, parfaitement agencée et magnifiquement décorée. Le petit déjeuner est un moment d’exception : copieux, raffiné, intégralement fait maison, du jus aux confitures en passant par le yaourt/raibi… un pur délice ! L’équipe, de l’accueil au service du matin, est aux petits soins. Les propriétaires, charmants et passionnés, ont su créer un véritable havre de paix, en préservant avec élégance le patrimoine culturel d’Essaouira. Nous repartons avec de merveilleux souvenirs et une seule envie : revenir très vite. Merci pour ce séjour magique et pour toutes ces attentions, jusqu’au service de repassage ! Un lieu paradisiaque à découvrir absolument… Je vous laisse découvrir toutes les merveilles de cet endroit, je n’en dis pas plus. Allez-y les yeux fermés !

• Keiichi (8/5): - 街の中心部にあって観光や買い物に便利でスタッフも非常に親切でした。部屋は綺麗でしたが、窓の閉まり具合が悪くロックすることができずセキュリティに不安を感じたのと、夜にスタッフが誰もいなくなる日があり救急の用事があった場合どうするのか不安になりました。また英語が通じないスタッフが多いので少しコミュニケーションが取りづらいかも知れません。

The Riad is decorated beautifully, extremely tastefully. The breakfast we had was the best in our 2 week stay in Morocco. Our room was extremly comfortable and the Riad is perfectly located for exploring this gorgeous town!

• Joseph (9/5): Riad Emotion is a lovely property with large, comfortable rooms. Phillippe is a friendly host. - Lovely facility with comfortable, spacious rooms in the center of town. Phillippe is a friendly and helpful host with lots of good recommendations. Rooms have good showers and bathrooms. The Riad is a bit hard to find the first time but being set back from the main road is part of its charm. Pillows were not very comfortable.

The Riad has steps to all the rooms as is typical and a terrace where breakfast is served. The breakfast is delicious with fresh bread, eggs, pastries and homemade preserves.

El desayuno es riquísimo y variado y se toma en la terraza del Riad. Ubicación muy céntrica en la Medina. Totalmente recomendable.

• Nicola (10/5): - Ein sehr herzlichen Empfang durch Philipp. Er hat uns super gute Restaurants empfohlen. Dieses Riad ist sehr geschmacksvoll eingerichtet mit vielen kleinen Details. Das Frühstück war liebevoll serviert worden mit top Produkte. Wichtig man kann nicht vor das Riad fahren. Vor den Stadtmauern kann man jedoch ein Gepäckträger für 20 DH nehmen, der auch weiss wo das Riad ist und ihm dann folgen.

• Ayoub (10/5): Exceptional - When we first arrived at the riad, we were well received with tea and cake. The staff provided hot towels for us to clean our hands and face upon arrival, which was a nice refreshing gesture after a long day of travel. The entire check in process was smooth and relaxed. The riad is very well designed. Everything you'd need is provided for you. The decor and style is well thought out. My mom especially was in love with their art pieces. While Essaouira is lively and (somewhat) noisy, the riad was calm, you couldn't hear a thing from outside. The staff is proactive and competent. They go out of their way to make sure we're having a good time. The rooms are always tidy and clean, they provide fresh snacks and bottled water every day. The breakfast was a feast! We looked forward to it every morning.
