totiandale (10/5): Super friendly staff, comfortable rooms! - We had such a great stay and were so happy we chose Riad Tizwa for our last two days in Morocco. After 40 days of travelling, we were looking for a quiet place to recharge. The room was huge and incredibly comfortable. I think we had the best night's sleep here; the pillows and bed were exceptional. They have a lovely terrace where breakfast is served, and you can enjoy the city view. You're 10 minutes away from the chaos and busy medina and right around the corner from Bacha coffee. A big thank you to Aziz and Mohammed for making us feel at home. We will be back!!
lorip102 (10/5): Wonderful Riad! - We had a wonderful four night stay at Riad Tizwa. Hasan and the entire staff are amazing - very helpful and welcoming. The Riad is beautiful with a rooftop terrace with views over the city. We had a delicious breakfast there each morning. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring Marrakech - within the medina, but quiet inside. Highly recommended.
MagsCarter (10/5): Double fabulousness - I stayed at this riad nearly twenty years ago and it was fabulous then. Now it's doubly fabulous. Every room (I had a small tour) has it's own appeal. I was in the room facing the roof terrace, next to the perfect nook for breakfast, which is first class. Everything from the pancakes to the orange juice to the muesli and homemade yogurt. Coffee is left outside your door every morning. Nothing is too much trouble. The location is ideal, allowing you to walk everywhere. Except to the restaurant Plus61 which is definitely worth the cab journey. We walked to the YSL gardens. The medina is wild - beware mopeds but it all adds to the amazing Marrakech experience. Go! And if you do, stay in this riad. Loved it.
H5908EEvalentinap (10/5): The decision to stay at Riad Tizwa, both in Marrakesh and Fez, was the best choice we could have made. - Everything was exceptional – the team (Hassan, Aziz, Meriam, the ladies ensuring the daily cleaning, as well as Richard), the riads themselves (the architecture, the room designs, the terraces), and, last but not least, the breakfast served every morning on the terrace at the time of our choosing. The tranquility in both riads was a delightful surprise. After the hustle and bustle of the medina and the streets, stepping into such a peaceful oasis was incredibly refreshing. All of this made our one-week stay in Morocco truly enjoyable. As I mentioned when we left, we felt like we were at home, surrounded by close friends. The team helped us organize transportation from and to the airport, provided excellent suggestions for local guides in both Marrakesh and Fez, and shared great recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try. Both riads are very well located – we were able to walk to every major tourist attraction. Once again, thank you to everyone for making our stay in Morocco so pleasant. I wholeheartedly recommend both riads. You will feel at home, make immediate friends with Hassan, Aziz, Meriam, and the team, and there will definitely be moments when you’ll prefer relaxing in the riad over exploring the medina.

The staff here is incredibly kind and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The staff were fantastic, so warm, welcoming and helped us whenever we needed anything, even arranging our unforgettable Hot Air Ballon ride (highly recommended). The Riad and rooms are exquisite and it was a haven of tranquility to come back to amongst the exciting bustle of Marrakesh. The location is fanatic as it right next to the soak but just far enough away not to be noisy. I can’t wait to go back, plus to stay at their place in Fez. Thank you for making our trip so memorable. 🙏 p.s the breakfast was delicious.
andrewjO5730BH (10/5): Traditional meets modern - Having stayed at its sister riad in Fes, we suspected that the Marrakesh branch of the Tizwa family would be equally stylish and welcoming. I'm happy to say we were correct. Like the one in Fes, this is a calm and peaceful oasis that is conveniently located in the Medina, with tastefully decorated rooms that mix and match mid-century classics with traditional Berber touches-- the huge mirrors, dark woods, colourful wool rugs, 50s plastic chairs and zellij mosaics are made for Instagram. The breakfast of fresh juice, coffee, pastries, breads, fruit and yoghurt is available all day for anybody that's stayed up all night, though as less-than-hedonistic Brits, we opted to take it at 9am on the roof terrace. The latter, incidentally, is a great place to meet other travellers with its mix of seating areas, lounging areas and outdoor showers. Once again, the staff were exceptional, especially Hassan, the manager, who organised a desert excursion for us as well as proffering hints and tips throughout our stay. 5 stars!

The staff are super, they all feel like family the moment you step over the threshold and as dond really appear to see that their role is to enable, support, have a chat, offer advice, make you comfortable. The road is gorgeous too, full of personal touches, love the bathrooms and all the local Berber products to try. Bed was super comfy and huge! Location is great, easy walking distance from everything it seemed, only problem is deciding whether to while away the hours catching up with old friends on the rooftop or head off into the Medina...

This is a beautiful traditional Riad with stylish boutique touches that make a stay here extra special. Riad Tizwa really does feel like a home from home, the staff are delightful, super welcoming and attentive. The courtyard and terraces offer calm relaxing spaces away from the bustle of the Medina. The day starts with the sound of bird song and it’s hard to drag yourself away from the wonderful breakfast served on the beautiful roof terrace! Location is excellent, a short walk to restaurants and a number of places to visit. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and individually decorated with carefully selected pieces. Above all it’s the personal touch that makes a difference. We will be back!

We enjoyed the afternoons on the rooftop drinking tea and enjoying the views. The breakfast was quite good! The staff was all very kind and helpful!

Hassan and Aziz where thee prefect hosts, always there for every need we had and very knowledgeable about the city. Would highly recommend this Riad if you’re planning to visit Marrakesh.
sophiehull21 (10/5): Tranquil, bird song, beautiful interior, excellent staff, comfy beds, extra clean rooms, excellent location. - From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with such kindness & of course Moroccan tea. I instantly felt at home. Breakfast is served with a smile, the sound of birds & the morning sunrise on your face. The Riad itself is a very tranquil & calming place to stay with beautiful interior, comfy beds, extra clean rooms, and the most attentive staff members. They go above and beyond to cater to your every need & we were so grateful for their help. (Thank you Hassan, Aziz & Bouzaid) The location of the Riad was perfect for us as it was a short walk to the cafes, markets and hustle & bustle of it all. I highly recommend this Riad if you want to kick back, relax in the most beautiful space, whilst also having the option of stepping outside into the heart of Marrakech.
Stodsa (10/5): Looking back over the years 🇲🇦❤️ - After stumbling across this riad in 2016 whilst staying out on the Palmeraie, my wife and I decided to try a nights stay. We fell in love with the place and since then it has become our second home. The owners and staff we now consider as family. So many happy times have been spent inside the tranquility of this riad. Birthdays, Anniversaries and celebrating new jobs. We've shared happy news and sad news with each other here. Seen off a pandemic, visited during a curfew, visted in the extreme august temperatures, stayed up talking on the roof terrace until the early hours, sank one or two gin and tonics, even held a boxing class on the roof. Drank copious amounts of mint tea and have now mastered the art of making it. We have met people from all over the world who we love to pass on our Marrakech experiences and tips with. If you are reading this and are looking for a traditional riad perfectly located, where the staff are amazing then I guarantee that this is the place to stay. Hassan the riad manager is the heart and soul supported by Aziz, Malika and Aziza they will take good care of you. We visted in June 2023 to celebrate Sam's 40th Birthday, an 11 day stay in the city. isisarab (10/5): An Overnight to Treasure - What a magical place! Down a typical narrow terra cotta alleyway to the majestic wooden door with the immense brass knocker. Then granted entry into a world of wonder! Open sky courtyard, gurgling fountain, my large, comfy lovely ground floor room to one side, and a warm “Welcome home” from the attentive and caring staff. Room highlights: rainfall shower, big cushy bed, a variety of continental-styled delights for breakfast, and real help with an errand to FedEx! I will stay again and again.

At Riad Tizwa we felt like friends. - Imagine getting up in the morning at half past six and Aziz comes up to the terrace with his bright smile and brings you a pot of fresh coffee. We felt welcome from the first moment when Hassan offered us tea to the last WhatsApp message reassuring that we had returned safely to Southern Germany. We had an impeccable, large suite, many different places where to sit and let the time pass by. The riad is close to Dar el Bacha (easy to find by foot or taxi), the souks, funduqs and museums. And most of all: We were helped in every imaginable way when looking for help with any questions a tourist might have. When coming back to Marrakech, inshallah, it will be to Riad Tizwa and its wonderful people.

In fact, they continued to take care of us via WhatsApp even after we’d departed! We loved our terrace room as it allowed us some extra space to enjoy the mornings and evenings after busy days in the Medina. Our room was clean & comfortable and all that we needed. Riad Tizwa was the perfect landing and start of our trip in Morocco!

What a kind soul who preempts every wish or need. Mouad is also very caring… cannot find a single fault with this dreamy Riad. El Fenn and La Mamounia being a short all away is another bonus….

In a central location, but set back from the main street making it quiet from the city noise. The rooftop terrace and beautiful architecture is also a nice touch.
