Guest Reviews
- Frances (6/5): - More sockets needed in the bedroom. Paid for a superior room. Not sure this is what we had.
- Gill (8/5): One night stay for a party - Great overnight stay for local party , nice clean room. Little areas need refreshing and damage to bathroom door , hence good not excellent.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Clean & Helpful! - Stayed in room 4, quite tight but very clean and very functional. Food was not served on the day we stayed but close amenities were fine.
- Brid (4/5): - On checking in we were not told that there would be no housekeeping on Saturday or Sunday. We had tiny bottles of toiletries between two for 4 days. Tea/ coffee service was there but the cups were not changed every day and we ran out of supplies. And bed was not made Really bad value I’m afraid.
- Thomas (4/5): - The room was small (despite the staff saying we had been “upgraded” to a bigger room) and was stifling hot, far hotter than outside. The room was like an oven and there was only one tiny window to open and no air con. The room was also very noisy, and we could hear both other guests in the corridor and music from the pub. The room was extortionate for what it was and not worth the money paid.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Room extremely small and price too high - Room was very small it did say small double but you could hardly move. A kettle and milk in in the room and coffee sachets but No cups, no teabags. No wardrobes just hooks in the wall. The shower was good but small and the sink was so small could not fill up the kettle with water. For £110 for the night room only - No Breakfast ! it is not worth it at all - should be about £70 - we did find a nice cafe that did breakfast dine the road. No apology for no cups and if fact no customer service at all. It was convenient for the wedding venue we went to but that’s it. I would not recommend although the room was clad and nicely decorated but not work the money we paid.
- Gary (10/5): - Lovely suite with twin baths for the romantic getaway
- Philippa (4/5): Not recommended - Clean but room so small. No space for bags. No long mirror, no hairdryer, no wardrobe sink too small to get kettle filled. Over priced .
- Jeffrey (8/5): - Nice room comfy bed and free parking
Will stay again
- Verified traveler (8/5): Lovely - The hotel is brill. The budget rooms are small but immaculate. Staff were lovely. The only thing that happened is the electric went off twice while we were getting ready which was a bit of a pain because it was pitch black! Other than that it was perfect
- paul (4/5): Small and expensive - V small room , which was v expensive. Service was good at reception but for a small double with no breakfast £132 is a bit expensive.
- debbie (8/5): - We had a lovely stay at Peaky Blinders , good location , staff very friendly and accommodating.
- Omoyemi (6/5): Okay - My stay was okay, but I was unable to sleep because the staff kept on opening and closing doors till late in the night, and the closing of the doors was loud. Each time I tried to sleep, one door would be closed and I would wake up.
- Debbie (10/5): - The stay was amazing, the only downside was there were no services available after 11pm.
- Michael (10/5): The room was clean plenty of tea and coffee - This is my second time staying here just easy to Southport Churchtown is very nice place
- Nick (4/5): Terribly Overpriced. - The room was tiny. So much so that there was nowhere to put any luggage except at the side of the bed.
The tea/coffee were good but there was nowhere to put them except on the bedside table, so you just knocked everything off in your sleep.
You couldn't fill the kettle in the sink because the sink was so small.
There was constant noise from downstairs because the bottom doors were chocked open.
This was a total rip off at £110.
- Michael (10/5): - Was in great location friendly staff the room was very good clean plenty of coffee tea milk got no complaints oh just the toilet paper could be better apart from that very good hotel will stay there again when I come down again used stay Southport was excellent top marks
- Dave (10/5): Top Quality - Brilliant, Room, Brilliant Staff, Brilliant atmosphere
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was very well presented, with good attention to detail. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Captured the theme of Pesky Blinders very well.
- Michael (10/5): Fab! - Lovely clean rooms. Good location, wouldn't hesitate to stay again!
- Mike (10/5): - We were skeptical when we pulled up, not what we expected from what we saw on Expedia, but it turned out to be a great place. After visiting with the guys in the pub (who also ran the hotel), we found that they named and themed the place after the TV show. We had a room directly over the pub and were pleased that we didn't have any noise issues. The rooms were updated and extremely clean, and lastly, the parking was FREE.
- Greg (10/5): - Very helpful and friendly staff
