Anthony (4/5): - First, if you enter the address into the GPS, you will not find this place. Thank goodness I was able to use Expedia directions to find Vinehurst. The room was ok. We reserved a suite with a jetted tub. Bedroom had a TV but the sitting area/jetted tub did not. Jetted tub, unfortunately, was on a timer which only lasted 15 mins. You had to get out to reset this timer which I was not a fan of that. Kinda killed the moment and relaxation purpose of it all. Unexpectedly, the wifi was horrible in this room. There was work I needed to finish via wifi, but was unable to complete it all. I had to drive 15 mins to a McDonald's to use their wifi. Huge inconvenience! I did express my dissatisfaction with the wifi but the only solution was to sit in the dining area next to the office/check-in. I didn't feel comfortable with that and I should have wifi in my room. Another inconvenience was the fact the windows had sheer curtains with extra long drapes. With it being our first time at Vinhurst and the air conditioning unit right below the window, we had to have the drapes open so the AC would work and not be blocked but the sun shined right in bright and early Saturday morning so sleeping in wasn't an option for us. We were both up by 630am Saturday morning. Super bummer to where we were exhausted by late Saturday morning because of the late check in on Friday since we both had to work. Breakfast was ok and below average for a continental breakfast.

Loretta (8/5): - Very charming rooms. Keep in mind that the next four units which included ours will be renovated during this winters off season. I did discuss my concerns with the owner. Upon entering our room we were hit with a musty damp smell. We left the door open to get some dry air in the room. There was no ventilation fan in the bathroom thus the cause of the dampness. I felt like my sheets were wet again due to the dampness in the room. The owner appreciated my comments and will be addressing them. Carpet to be removed and exhaust fans will be part of the renovation. We were not to thrilled about the breakfast options. Yogurt and cereals. No fruit and only regular coffee, no decaf. One nice thing was there was regular dish ware to use. No styrofoam or paper plates. Kuddos on that.

Rickey (8/5): Great for quick overnight stay - Older Motel that has been cleaned up. Rates were good for the area. Room was clean. We just needed a place to sleep. We got back to the room about 110pm and left the next morning at 7:30.

Peggy (10/5): - The Vinehurst Inn and Suites is a motel along the road leading into Hammondsport. The room was extremely clean and the check-in was very efficient. The beds were really comfortable. The ceilings are high and the air conditioner was doing extra duty trying to keep the room cool. The bathroom is small and there is no shelf to put toiletries. The continental breakfast in the morning was excellent. I would stay here again.

Deepak (6/5): A reasonable stay for the price. - The room I was in was quite practical - outlets where I needed them to be, bathrooms holders where I needed them to be. The room is quite large. Outside there was a nice sitting area. The ice machine is a big help as is the water filter to fill up water. I really couldn't hear any noise from the main road that runs in front of the property even though my room faced the road. The room was quite dated and old. The sitting area in front faces the road so one can hear the traffic in the evening while reading. The breakfast was mainly processed foods except the hard boiled eggs.

joenronnie (10/5): Pleasantly Surprised - I was a bit nervous when we pulled up the motel. The photos I saw online looked a lot better then what I saw when we arrived. We went to check in and the woman who greeted us was very nice and personable. We had a standard room on the second floor. The room was so nice. Newer carpeting and a very large bathroom that looked like it was recently upgraded. There was a table and 2 chairs and a decent size fridge and microwave. Our 2 night were very pleasant. We were close to Hammondsport and the lake. I would recommend this motel if you are looking for a reasonable rate and close proximity to the lake and wineries in the area.

We were in town for a concert and when the concert was over there was nowhere open to eat so we didn’t stay, we packed up our stuff and drove home after the concert. Nice area to visit but I wouldn’t recommend staying unless you bring your own food

I would have liked another protein option besides hard boiled eggs, like protein bars.The room was beautiful and felt warm and refreshed. The property was inviting and had nice chairs and tables outside each room. Great management and felt invited. Beds were a bit hard, we had an issue with a few ants and bugs, and there is very little sink space to set out your bathroom accessories.

Linda (4/5): Ok if your stopping by on a business trip but for a vacation - meh. - It was close to Wineries and other places of interest. Many things need to be updated. We stayed in the King suite which was 2 rooms plus a bathroom. Both rooms had a small window air conditioner. Thank goodness the air conditioner worked in the room with the bed because the AC in the room with the jacuzzi bathtub did not. It was so disgustingly hot in that room that we did not even use the jacuzzi bathtub!!! So we paid for a beautiful room that we couldn’t even use. The write up for the Inn said exquisite breakfast. So when we checked in we asked for details and were told it would be pastries, bagels, yogurt, coffee etc. when asked about the “exquisite” breakfast the woman told us “oh- I don’t cook anymore.” Well then how about removing that description from the amenities!!! The only good thing I will say is - the bed was very comfortable.

This place has NO redeeming qualities inside or out!! It needs painting with sanding first. Entrance and hall carpets, filthy; room repair look like a handyman went to the junkyard for parts. The list is endless. I don’t think it would pass inspection if one was done.

Anonymous (5/5): Facility was very clean, clerk was very informative, and places we wanted to see were close. - Breakfast was not what I expected. Could have been better. We set our air conditioner on the lowest temperature and the room stayed extremely hot.

Melody (8/5): A very warm welcome & a good value - The Vinehurst has been a stable location in our extended family for decades, but we had never stayed there until last weekend. The welcome was very warm and friendly, the room was spacious and clean, and we really appreciated eco-friendly touches like large, refillable toiletries and an option to use real dishes instead of wasteful plastic and paper at breakfast. Our bed, unfortunately, was very hard and quiet high off the ground, which made for a bit of a difficult sleep. But overall it was a very good value and a very pleasant stay.

Katherine (10/5): - "Old School" - which we love...keys on a plastic ring and greeted by name from the owners when we arrived. Location is perfect to reach many local spots, room had everything we needed and was super clean. Would grab a night here again.

Alex_g (9/5): Superb - Nice, little inn on the road around Fingers Lakes. Super friendly, quite, spacious with fair breakfast. It is in the middle of nowhere with only one other place across the road - another inn and a cafe/restaurant. Everything was great - for drinks/food you would need to drive up or down the road (about 15 min either way).
