Guest Reviews
- Jack (8/5): Great location - Great staff, great location, older rooms but kept up fairly well.
- Ashraf Atieh (10/5): - Great location, in the middle of two markets with several bars around.
- Kevin (6/5): - The property overall offers a good price and the breakfast and complimentary shuttle service are wonderful.
However, we were bitten by bed bugs even after switching to a different room. The management may want to do sanitize the beds and bedsheets in all rooms.
- Liane (10/5): - Beautiful hotel and room. It is very close to lots of markets, shopping and points of interests. It is tucked away from the market area so it is also quiet. Would definitely book this hotel once more.
- jimmy (10/5): - Extremely happy I chose this for my stay the staff was very friendly and the room was Extremely nice. It has free breakfast everyday a decent gym and a nice pool.
- Sobeyra (10/5): - Very good
- Sobeyra (10/5): - Very clean maintenance. Highly recommended
- CHUN HAN (8/5): - Unique hotel to me. Nice quiant place behind a market.
- Edmund (10/5): - Location is great! Right outside the night market, walkable to all the restaurant, cafes, massage places.
- Dawn C. (10/5): - Overall, I had a good stay.
- Diandra (10/5): - Right next to the Night Market! Incredibly spacious rooms! Will stay here again!
- Randall (8/5): - Its not the newest property but it is very well kept. Rooms are not huge but very well laid out. The bathrooms are very nice and we had a small balcony. Now, i can sleep anywhere but their beds are not the most comfortable, they have room for improvement.
Now for the best part. It is located next to the night bazaar and you have great street food, shopping and events.
- Kyle (8/5): - We had a good stay, property is becoming a bit dated. Morning breakfasts are very good
- Nicole (8/5): - Very nice and friendly place. A little old but if you’re looking for a quint little place, this is a good place.
- Lucy (10/5): - Great hotel, nice big rooms and right next to night market, easy to walk and get to places, breakfast was good. Pool is good size but only 1 or 2 seats next to it so difficult to use if others are there.
- Andrew (8/5): - Not to bad
- Ganesh (10/5): - Very nice antique style Hotel I like it
- David (10/5): - A nice hotel in the east side of Chiang Mai, near markets and bars, massage parlours.
It had a good range of breakfast items.
The Staff were lovely and understanding.
A good place for couples a solo travellers to stay..
- Tim (10/5): - Great location and great rooms for the price. Breakfast and an airport shuttle too!
- Patrick (6/5): - The hotel sits on prime real estate and guests therefore enjoy easy access to some of the best spots in ChiangMai. The hotel is however dirty, smelly, and old. Good for folks on a budget.
- KEYUR (10/5): - Great Location and Value for money.
- isamar (8/5): - If you like to go for walks, shopping and dining this is a hotel is a great option. We love the location to go shopping at night, great food options, coffee shops etc.. Even though is nearby busy streets is also quite so you won’t be bothered by the noise.
We didn’t like a few things about it for example, it isn’t the cleanest hotel they need to do better and that the AC unit was not working properly.
- Roberto (10/5): - Great place and convenient
- Jacqueline (8/5): - We stayed at the NightBazaar on New Years Eve so probably wasn’t an accurate indication of noise in the area. Breakfast was good, with a nice range of different food on offer. Room was spacious, but dark. The balcony was small.
- Rick (10/5): - Perfect
- Mai (10/5): - If you like to party this is a great local
- Aabhas (4/5): - Not great location wise
- Hyrald (6/5): - As a solo traveller the location was fantastic and the amenities were quite satisfactory particularly the free airport transfer after check out. They’ve got a coffee machine too at the breakfast buffet which I enjoyed very much! The only let down was that the overall look and feel of my room’s bathroom wasn’t to my standards. But that’s only from a personal taste.
- Paul (10/5): - friendly and helpful staff. tasty and varied complimentary continental breakfast. daily cleaning and toiletry room resupply. great location and value room rate. would stay again!
- William (8/5): - Older property, showing its age.
- Maurizio (8/5): Good value for money - Nice old wooden building in a nice location
- Andrew William (6/5): - To be fair, I think the hotel was still in recovery mode from the flood one month earlier. It really caused a lot of damage everywhere. The breakfast area was nice and what was provided for breakfast was very good, though some of the dishes felt cool when it should have been warm (food safety). The pool was not available as it was being repaired from the flood damage. The hallway carpets were a bit dirty. I like the layout of the room (king, single bed), but the furniture and surfaces are very worn down. A little sanding and some new varnish would make things so much better! The bathroom needs a pressure wash or something, lots of dirt (maybe mold) in the stucko/stone surface. Definitely bring ear plugs as the night baazar area is party town! Also, walls seem to be paper thin, I hear alot from connecting rooms. Lastly, smokers on the neighbour's balcony somehow gets sucked into your room via a/c? For the price and location, a good stay in general.
- lenny (10/5): - clean nice
- Howard (8/5): - The mattresses were rather hard after a few days on the back
- Jeremy (4/5): - Hard beds. I let the front desk know the bed was hard and my wife and I couldn’t sleep. The lady told us all the beds are the same. We left after that night even though we paid for two. We told the ladies up front that we had to leave, didn’t expect a refund, but let them know anyways, and she told me all the beds in Thailand are the same lol. 🤣 It’s all good, I was nice, it was just funny. Well, every other hotel we stayed in around Thailand for $30-$40/night had soft beds. Nice older gentleman working up front though. And beautiful country. ✌️
- Victor (10/5): - It was a pleasant one night stay. Nice room with practical furnitures. In front of the famous night bazaar market.
- Vince (6/5): Go and buy your breakfast. - Hotel is old the location is good, the breakfast is a shocker but the toast is good if you like white bread and if you are checking out early don’t count on breakfast being ready.
- STUART (8/5): CHARMING EXCELLENT VALUE IN A GREAT LOCATION - This is a charming place with a nice atmosphere in an excellent location for the Night Bazaar. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful - The rooms had character if a little dated, but that is hardly an issue. Shower was great with a step and the bathroom a decent size and pleasant. The balcony though small was lovely with good views of the surrounding area.I often enjoyed the pool on my own and found it delightful. Breakfast was adequate - a bit basic for me, but those who prefer Asian style breakfasts will be happier. The decor in lobby was a little kitsch and over the top with artificial flowers, but that is subjective. The most important reason i recommend this Hotel is the awesome value for money - comfort, location and facilities make it an amazing choice - if you want to save funds and be in a good location in Chiang Mai and walk easily everywhere and have access to the major sights, then this is a number 1 choice.
- Michael (8/5): - Absolutely fantastic location. The rooms were nice. Older and a bit out of date. For the price, still a great deal. My only wish is they had done a better job offering dairy-free or gluten-free options for breakfast. We had let them know before we arrived and still was hard to communicate with the breakfast staff.
- Chow Ping (10/5): - Great location!
- Atthapong (10/5): - Small and simple. It’s everything we needed. Nothing fancy. Close to shopping and restaurants. Lots of nightlife around. For around $20 per night with free breakfast. It’s awesome.
- BEVERLY (8/5): - This hotel is right in the center on the prime shopping areas. Tons of food choices just seconds from the hotel. Accommodations were okay only because our room smelled of smoke and the bed was not comfortable. There was a lot of noise from other guests but that’s not the hotels fault. The staff was not as receptive as other places but were professional.
- Yudelka (10/5): - Hotel was very nice but a bit dated. Bathrooms is like a outdoor style you would need flip flops provided by hotel. Not too clean but the price is very good cause you are steps from the market. Staff was nice as well.
- Chee Seong (8/5): - I give a 4 star due to location. Over all stay was ok but need to improve on mosquito control.
- Michael (10/5): - Clean , i enjoyed the area , staff was great very helpful
- Richard (8/5): - The only thing we didn’t like was one of the four nights some of the guests were slamming doors and running around at 1:30 in the morning for at least 20 minutes or so. I don’t believe any security or anything was done about it.
This was the only blot on quite a nice stay
- Robert (10/5): - Great place to stay. Wonderful buffet breakfast. Staff is helpful. Great location. One of my favorite stays.
- Cara (4/5): - It is a cute hotel. The pool was not working when we went and I wasn’t happy. It was a heatwave and I counted on spending afternoons in a pool. I wish they had updated me through booking agent and allowed me to find a different hotel. Very convenient to everything you need. Staff not eager to talk to people.
- peter (8/5): - You get what ya pay for overall wasn’t bad
Very convenient to wonder around the markets main reason I picked it, I also picked it cause bar and restaurant, restaurant wasn’t opening for lunch and dinner and from the signs had been like that awhile. Pool was closed for maintenance and similar to kitchen look like it had been awhile
Breakfast was very ordinary
But again it was cheap so with all negative I’d probably still stay there again haha
- Pi Chieh (10/5): - It was conveniently located next to the Night Bazaar and therefore loads of reasonably priced eating and shopping places.
The staff were efficient and extremely helpful.
- Ana (8/5): - Un hotel agradable aunque recomiendo darle mantenimiento a las áreas de baño y maderas de la habitación.
- Wei (6/5): - The Gym could have been air condition and the swimming pool can be bigger.
- Richard (10/5): - Very nice hotel staff friendly spacious rooms and clean
- Julie (8/5): - Staff were great. Superb value basic hotel but clean
- Kimberly Michael (10/5): - Excellent locatipn, close tp laundry mat and restaurants.
- Maung Tun (10/5): - Nice location near night bazaar.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location, close to night market for food and shopping.
Hotel is a little bit out dated, but kept clean.
- Thipphavanh (10/5): - The staff were all amazing.
- Sin chai (10/5): - Our stay was good. But was disappointed that the parking facility was not condusive. Our car was blocked by another car and the driver was not contactable. As a result we had to take taxi to the place we wanna go.
- Chee Seng (8/5): - Everything was great except the water pressure in shower is not strong enough for my liking.
- Suzanne (8/5): Nice hotel - Excellent accommodation other than the toilet not working properly. Great location, nice staff and good breakfast. Highly recommend.
- Collin (8/5): - Very close to shopping and nightlife. Cheap as well. Clean and very decent rooms.
- Bin Abdullah (10/5): - worth for money
- Collin (8/5): - Cheap room close to many activities. Very happy that I chose this one for a couple of one nighters between other excursions.
A ton of food at the breakfast buffet. But, no black tea available. Blasphemous!!! Luckily I brought my own. Saved my vacation.
- Michael (10/5): - Excellent location, lots of shopping and restaurants close by. Hotel was nice and staff was very accommodating!
- James (8/5): Good Value, steps from Night Bazzar - There's not much to complain about especially with the rate we paid. The only issue we had was we were on the 6th floor and got some of the noise from the bar which is also on the 6th floor. Fitness center could use an upgrade, but other then that it was clean, comfortable, had a decent breakfast and professional staff.
- Robert (6/5): - Hotel is in a very walkable location to many things. Good central location to food, markets and activities.
Balcony’s have no useable seating area, rooms very dated, breakfast is so so. Good thing about this place is value for cost. It’s 2 star, staff were very friendly, cleaning staff super caring on a day when we were sick.
- BRIAN (10/5): - The location is pretty good, the staff is super nice.
- Kerry (10/5): - Nice hotel one block from Chiang Mai night market. The softest bed I've had in Thailand yet for a good night's sleep. Great breakfast and coffee machine for lattes, cappuccino and more. I would definitely stay here again.
- Lynne (8/5): - Good location and excellent value for money
- gina (10/5): - May at the front desk is wonderful! She is always so friendly and helpful. She is an excellent employee for your lovely hotel - please take very good care to keep her. All of the employees and housekeeping staff are friendly too.
- Lawrence (10/5): - Great location, right across from the night bazaar and lots of restaraunts and bars within walking distance. Breakfast was decent and the pool was refreshing. Not far from the airport or Wats.my stay here was above my expectation for the price.
- Bruce (8/5): good value but cold breakfast - Hotel and service was very good. Location excellent for restaurants and night baazar. Bed was good and clean, air conditioning and TV both good.
Only disappointment was breakfast. While food available was adequate it was cold.
Food servers had food warmers underneath but not lit.
If you like cold fried eggs, bacon and sausages will not be an issue for you.
Price was reasonable even without breakfast..
- Frank (8/5): - A nice hotel, decent room size, bed was firm, shower and bathroom were fine. My room had a balcony which overlooked a beer bar complex, but it never bothered me - they seemed to shut down at midnight. Breakfast was available, but not really to my taste. I would happily stay there again. I’m internet was available - was a 36mbs service whilst I was there.
- Melissa (6/5): - First, the likes: I liked that it was cheap and close to the Night Markets. I liked that it was close to my brother's condo. Now the dislikes: It was uncomfortable for me because the bed was very hard, there were only 2 uncomfortable chairs to sit in in the rooms, it was so close to the Night Markets that the live music kept me up until after midnight (very noisy at night), and the air conditioner turned off when I removed my key from the slot in my room so it was hot, humid, and sticky when I came back. I also did not like the configuration of the bathroom with the open shower as part of the room (which also was never air conditioned). After 3 nights, I ended up moving 4 blocks away to the Marriott. While I paid about 3 times as much, I was comfortable.
- James (10/5): - Very nice boutique hotel.
The Night Bazaar was great!
- LIM (8/5): - Hotel reception is very professional especially staff May that help to arrange for our customise tour transport . Thank you
- Pallop (8/5): - Every thing is superb and it’s way beyond my expectations. The room and bathroom were extremely clean. Everything is perfect except lots of tiny ants crawling around.
I recommend the property management to have pest control to get rid of those ants and it’s going to be one of the best hotel in night bazaar.
I will get back there again if I travel to Chiang Mai.
- Krisztian (10/5): - Great location, you can walk around to get food, drinks, souvenirs.
You can even walk to the center to visit the temples, or just get a cheap rideshare service.
The pool was nice, and the breakfast was good too.
- Sheri (8/5): - Nice hotel in great area for night markets in Chiang Mai
- Carmelo (10/5): - Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location enjoyed my 3 night stay.
- Atthapong (10/5): - This is the second time at the hotel 7 months ago. The hotel is close to everything. Bars, restaurants etc.. stayed here for a week this time. Had a great time. A lot of the businesses around are coming back. Will be back
- Sara (10/5): - Great property.great. friendly, clean, amazing location.priced perfectly.
Breakfast was fresh and had a variety of thai options.
My only complaint was the walls are a bit thin ... I'm i could hear my neighbor snoring and blowing their nose.
I would certinally return!
- gina (10/5): wonderful staff - wonderful staff
- Lisa (10/5): - You can't go wrong with NightBazaar Inn Hotel. This was our third time staying at this property and although not 4-star quality, it's always consistent in its service and cleanliness. Each room has a little balcony that gives major Japanese onsen vibes and the rooms are always roomy and clean. The pool is small but nice and there is an adequate fitness area with weights and cardio machines. The best part of this hotel is how convenient it is to evening activities - the Kalare Night Bazaar is right around the corner with a ton of eating options and there are cheap but good quality massage places right across the street. So easy to run over for a massage before going to bed. Also, down the street is the always fun Ram Bar.
Be warned that there are a lot of mosquitos around the area and we always shared the elevator with a minimum of 3-5 of the pesky insects. There is a mosquito net around each bed and although it looks very dreamy, it is also practical to use when sleeping. I did not get bit once which I am super happy about.
I would definitely recommend people to stay at this place.
- Victor (10/5): - Great value hotel, very clean, polite staff, and easy to walk to many places.
- Mark (6/5): - This is a hard property to review
The location is superb but the building itself is nothing special. The rooms are clean but they are tiny… once you open up two suitcases there is no room left lol. There is no counter in the bathroom so you can’t even leave a shaving kit out. The lighting is poor
But the ac worked, it was clean, no bugs and the price was great
Oh yes breakfast…. Pretty mediocre, even the coffee was only instant
It takes just seconds to walk to the night market, you can get a cheap massage right on the hotel street, tons of food choice, 15 minute walk to the old city and on a plus note there is a blues bar right across the street,
- marlon (10/5): - nice quite place that is surprisingly close to the night market and main road
- Kunal (10/5): - The hotel is in the heart of happening place. Markets were near and lot of activities there.
- Tasneem (8/5): - Really good location by the night market, restaurants, bars and shops. Around a fifteen to twenty minute walk to the old city. Hotel is clean as are rooms. Staff are pleasant. A good cheap and cheerful option.
- William (10/5): - Clean friendly
- Nazim (8/5): - Nice staff. Good location. Free shuttle to the airport.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent boutique type hotel. We will definitely plan on staying hear on our next visit to Chiang Mai.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - location was great. Right near the night bazaar. Staff was perfect. Breakfast mediocre. Hotel getting run down.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - a small hotel but complete with all the facilities and amenities.. Near to Chiang Mai Night Bazaar and Warorot Market. Staffs are friendly and helpful.
- Ronald (10/5): Great Hotel - Excellent location but the bed was hard, staff was great and the overall theme of the place was fantastic!
- Zhongmin (8/5): - Considering the price, the hotel is actually not bad. Good location, close to the night bazaar, many good restaurants nearby. The bathroom is a bit small, there is no separation wall between the shower and the toilet. The breakfast has limited choices but is ok. Overall we had a good stay here.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - this was my first time but not my last time stying at NightBazaar Inn Hotel
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent location to night bazaar that is also morning market where you can find some good local breakfast
- Nerilee (10/5): Great value for money with the personal touch. - Location is fabulous, However there is a very noisy bar nearby which has really loud music in the evening. Only other downside is the pool is small with only 2 deck chairs. That said it's very refreshing and cooler than most other pools we have been in whilst in Thailand. Biggest asset is the staff. General Manager Por drove us to airport on the last night she works so hard and Jujubee the receptionist is an absolute darling and so helpful. Our room was great with a cute little balcony. Breakfast is satisfactory. Not an enormous selection but fills the spot. Certainly more choices than I ever produce on my own table. Will definitely return. 1 minute to night market and unlimited places for massages shopping and fantastic food. 3 minutes walk to Le Meridien if your wealthy friends are staying there lol. Arrived for 1 night. Stayed 5!
