John (10/5): We had a very enjoyable Staffa usual would like to see some improvement to the dining room furniture - My wife and I have used this hotel for many years. We always enjoy staying there and its location is perfect for our needs. The one con I have is the dining room furniture. Two years ago I committed that the furniture in the dining area needed to be reupholstered or replace as it was in less than perfect condition. Fast forward to our recent stay and same dining furniture is still there and still needing to be reupholstered even more so. The hotel is such a nice place to stay but the dining area is an eyesore and one of the first thing you see when you enter the hotel. It would really be a benefit to the hotel if you gave some attention to this suggestion. Liked the room, location and the friendly staff.

Very affordable and good location. Pool room could be a little better attended and the bathroom needs a vent for shower humidity and white noise.

KY_EMT54109 (10/5): Great Choice property - Booked a night here for a local play. Really felt welcome as soon as I arrived. Gentlemen at the front desk was attentive and helpful. The room was very spacious and clean. Really enjoyed the shower setup at this hotel, and I slept great on the bed. I didn’t stay for breakfast, I noticed several people enjoying themselves on my way out though. I’d definitely stay here again.
Lisa (7/5): Good - Clean, comfortable. There was a lot of snow overnight and they only scraped a circle around the parking lot. I had to dig out my own car, with their shovel, and the sidewalks could not be used. I am a 61 year old woman with disabilities and this was an issue.

Stanza ampie, abbiamo ricevuto un upgrade gratuito a una suite con balcone, abbiamo molto apprezzato e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Molto gentili tutti quello dello staff, siamo arrivati molto in anticipo per via della tormenta e ci hanno subito fatto accomodare nella lobby e dopo poco la stanza era già pronta. Letto comodossimo e tutto molto molto pulito. Il parcheggio pieno di neve, scherzi a parte, ci è piaciuto tutto!

However, the request was never sent to the hotel. Since I had prepaid, I had to book the room again and was charged twice. The man at the desk refunded my duplicate charge without having to go through Booking.com. which I will never use again. Everything was good.

Robyn (7/5): It was a mediocre hotel with a great location. - The location was great and having a balcony was great also! Our fan in the bathroom didn’t work, one side table lights didn’t work, the other bedside table lamp, it only partially worked. The latch for the balcony door was ready to fall off, the inside handle that is. The walls seemed to be thinner than most hotels I’ve stayed in, our neighbors were up to 5am roughly and we could hear them throughout the entire night.

The equipment chargers did not work in my room nor those of my friends. Both nights my heater did not work. This is my BIGGEST complaint. VERY COLD! I did as the guy at counter suggested but still heat did not work.

Thin walls, could hear a lot of noise and voices. I suppose most hotels are built that way

It was close to the interstate, so convenient to getting to attractions in the area. The biggest downside was there was no variety to the breakfast. We stayed for several days and it was the same few offerings every single day.

Many of the spots were taken up by construction trucks and there was an 18 wheeler taking up a whole row. Also one truck was parked where it took up 4 spots and there was a barbeque grill. We had to park up by the building where you go in to the front desk area.

The rooms are very clean but unfortunately the first night we stayed the city was resurfacing the road all around the property and it was noisy. Tried to sleep with eat plugs and that didn't help. The front desk attendant was very accommodating and willing to move us for the next night but he said the road work noise was over and he was right. So we slept wonderfully then.

We brought our black lab and upon arrival were told that the room we'd been booked into was on a floor that didn't allow dogs, but they switched us to an amazing room on a dog friendly floor with zero issue at all!!! Super clean and quiet. Felt really safe and the location was gorgeous.

However, there was a strong musty odor in the room from the air conditioner and the carpeting was damp. There was also black mold on the shower ceiling. We were told at the front desk that all of the rooms were musty and that we just weren't used to it. This property would do well to service their A/Cs and address the mold damage in the rooms.

Autumn (8/5): Quick stop for the night - Just stopped fornthe night en route to Michigan from NC. Wanted a place with breakfast &close to highway. Rooms was spacious and clean. Good water pressure. Bed was more firm than I prefer. Would help to have a memory foam or pillow topper but in the end itbhelpsed usngetbup amd out and on the road pretty quickly.
