Guest Reviews
- John (6/5): - Old and outdated
- Leonel (6/5): - I don’t really spend my stays in the hotel room so I wasn’t too concerned with the property however I found the guest policy a little interesting. Wasn’t a big fan of the idea that i couldn’t fully enjoy my stay.
- Oliver (8/5): - I stayed here 5 years ago and liked it a lot. At the time it was very good value considering the area. I found this recent stay (9/22-9/30, 2024) offered the same room for a higher price. When I say the same, I mean exactly the same furniture, amenities, even bedspread. Still a good value in this expensive city but perhaps should have upgraded the rooms especially amenities. My biggest concern was the Wi-Fi did not work...EVER!
- Giovani (4/5): - You would get something better in a better price in same area or not far. This one would be the last option
- Daisy (2/5): - .
- Rocio (7/5): Good -
- Dennis (5/5): Passable -
- mark (6/5): Chair chair come out wherever you are! - Bathroom was modern. Air conditioner worked well. The room with three desks had NO CHAIR. I asked the manager for a chair. He said to wait ten minutes. Hours later, no chair! I was uncomfortable. Who has a motel room without a chair?
- Giovanni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rocio (10/5): Exceptional -
- Miriam (9/5): Overall amazing staff & cleanness was the best - Parking availability amazing. Room service at whatever time is convenient and available for us when needed. It doesn’t have microwave or fridge and for someone who stayed for two days and didn’t have cold drinks or anything to eat your leftovers warm sucked
- Verified traveler (2/5): Poor Review - The management was rude. Hey had no problem stating what he would do if something went wrong. The managements poor communication reflected a prejudice that he was concerned about without any concrete evidence there was anything warranted against African American person. I felt so offended I never stayed there. I never physically went into the room. I would respectfully request for my money back. His affect was poor, his demeanor was hostile, and his poor choice of language was offensive. I never recommend any person of color/ LGBTIQA individual to stay there because of how prejudicial and criminalizing the man who spoke to me was.
- Ender (10/5): - Great hotel for the price
- Marcus (1/5): One of the worst motels in America - Nothing Everything
- Sergiy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jonas (2/5): - Our room was filthy, burn holes on the bed, door frame looks like someone kicked it in, mysterious drips all over the walls and there was no headboard for the bed. Tables were burned and graffiti covered
- Edgar (10/5): - I would stay again
- Madeline (4/5): - The staff at the hotel were very kind and very helpful. Upon first glance at the room, we knew we would not be able to stay the night. There were cigarette burns in the bedding and the room smelled like cigarettes. The towels in the bathroom were visibly dirty, but the bathroom was the cleanest part of the room. The staff offered to show us other rooms that were available, but we did not feel safe in the area regardless. I don't want to takeaway from the staff who helped us. They were great and understanding when we checked out 10minutes after checking in.
- Giovanni (2/5): - Leaving time starts at 9am instead of 11am so be prepared for people to rush you
- Nicole (5/5): Passable -
- Afaf (6/5): - The smell of smoke was very strong
- james r (6/5): - Area was ok and felt it was a safe stay. The bathroom tub faucet leaked and the tub wasn’t very clean. I and my wife felt the bed was very comfortable.
- Robert (2/5): No good - No good No good
- Rush (7/5): Good - All the TV didn't work
- Julian (5/5): I’ve expected better - Most of the staff was nice The location
- Tuan (1/5): Do not recommend - Nothing Cleanliness.
- Kajetan (4/5): Disappointing - Close to city center Really old room that's needs some fixing and a good clean
- Justine (2/5): - Dirty roach motel. The manager is a piece of crap. The parking lot is way too small. I had to leave early because I couldn't put up with the bull. Never again.
- Miguel (1/5): Bad -
- Verified traveler (4/5): Ghetto Motel - Pictures advertised are very deceiving. The Parking lot is tiny, the size of parking spots are so small you can bearly get out of a small car without dinging the car next to you. Rooms look differently then pictures advertised. Horrible mattress, broken glass on floor next to bed. No Ice machine or fridge in room. Are'nt allowed visitors even when its just for a few minutes. Wasnt expecting much but it was far worse then i imagined.
- Rinki (1/5): Bad -
- Micheal (10/5): Exceptional - Respected by staff
- Martha (5/5): Passable - The staff were great! They stored our luggage while we went out for lunch and they even let us check in a bit earlier. They were all very friendly. The cleanliness was not the best. The staff make do with what they are provided with. The towels were very dirty and looked old. The building itself looked very worn and not properly taken care of. It’s not a horrible stay if you’re not too picky and need a place just to sleep.
- Warren (6/5): - Very run down rooms. But clean. Secured parking. Wi-Fi didnt work. Close to quick food options. Easy to get to and from. Desk clerk was no nonsense.
- Jack (7/5): Good -
- Shannon (6/5): Pleasant - Clean bedding, and property. Free parking available. Quick check in and checkout. Visible wear and tear on all walls, appliances, and furniture.
Difficult enterance, rooms are not soundproof, door sticks and deadbolt is missing.
Uncomfortable bed and pillows, but that is subjective, so I am not really holding that against them.
- Johnny (8/5): Very good -
- Kazi (6/5): - Old motel
- Harold (3/5): I wished I had made my reservations earlier and paid a higher rate. - Had a table but no chairs. Even after I requested one, it did not appear. The front door and the door to the bathroom were only held on by 3 screws each. There was no bathroom rug. I slipped upon exiting the tub on the tile floor and dislocated my shoulder. The fire department and ambulance were called. I spent time at ER and missed 45 minutes of an hour book signed at the Los Angeles Time Festival of Books--which was the motive of my travel from St. Louis. The location is also in a bad neighborhood. Taxi from LAX was $ 65 and from the festival was $ 30. Taxi costs were very high.
- Luis (10/5): I enjoyed my stay here looking forward to visit California again - I felt welcomed by the staff that works in the front desk and as well housekeeping. It very quite and comfortable and very close to downtown LA Everything was fine
- Victoria (8/5): Very good -
- Allan (9/5): Superb -
- Enrique (4/5): - Very bad place to stay wouldn’t book here again no Parking property owners are rude it was cold with no heater working when asked to move said was only room available horrible experience I was 300 miles away from home
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mari (8/5): Paying for deposit, room was OK - It was okay but the thing I didn’t like is that I had to pay for a 50$ deposit when i didn’t get a notification ahead of time that I was going to.
- Rainer (7/5): Good -
- Thomas (1/5): Bad -
- MOSES (2/5): - N/a
- Moncada (5/5): Passable -
- Johannes (5/5): If you are looking for a cheap stay in central LA this is fine for a few days. Neighborhood is bad but the motel fulfils - Good value for the money. Cleaning and reception staff was nice Some small bugs in the room. Rooms not in the best condition. Neighborhood pretty bad. Definitely don’t roam around at night here
- Victor (9/5): Superb -
- Andrei (10/5): - It was great
- Anthony (2/5): - The worst motel in Los Angeles. The room smelled so bad and the staff do not know how to operate a business
- Vince (8/5): - Yay
- Ronn (8/5): Love this place - Great place to stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - check in and check out times a little too sporadic
- Armando (6/5): Cant complian - Good spot no problems with the staff or front desk they are on site ready tonassist you and they let you in your room on time or if ready sooner if possible
- Steven (10/5): Rest Assured - It was very quiet and relaxing. I slept through the entire night
- Gd1991 (2/5): - Was not allowed to stay in the room because the 2nd person did have a valid ID. Before I made the reservation I made sure I reviewed everything needed to turn in at the front desk and nowhere in the page did it specify that all persons staying in the room needed proof of ID. Ive stayed in many motels due to my current living situation and ive never been ask to shownthe second persons State ID. I wasted money on lyft and had to find somewhere else while standing in this hot summer sun. Please be more specific on what is required to provide at the front desk it made my day very stressful due to the lack of information provided.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Smelled to much like cigarettes needs more cleaning
- Margarita (8/5): - I love the beds here
- Michael (8/5): - They were good. The only thing that I don't really liked was that I couldn't have any visiting. But everything else was good
- Maritza (10/5): Great - Verry. Nice place
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice and warm the staff was pleasant they met all the needs that I needed
- LD (10/5): - Price is right. Nothing special but I've been charged more for much less at other Motels.
- jess (2/5): - bad just bad IDK if I even wanna use this app. I am done
- Verified traveler (2/5): - There was nothing to like about this property. I could go into detail, but no sane person would want to stay here. Not sure how this place gets anything besides a 1 star rating. I’m not hard to please, but this place felt dirty and unsafe.
- Doreen (8/5): - Won’t complain. I travel for business so you get what you pay for. Easy access to the fashion district, bus stop at the gate and gas station and food stores all round.
Don’t expect your room to be cleaned until you leave . Would I stay there again? Yes I would but just for business and only for a few days
- end_of_days (2/5): - The room wasnt even fully cleaned as i found used trash in the bathroom and shower ...now i wasnt expecting much but the house keeper came barging in when i was fully nude. They wouldnt give me a partial refund for the things i had an issue with. The latina working the window would be the only reason i would go back and i would only be asking for her number and leaving immediately after.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Very odd place! Couldn’t sleep the entire time. Room was by busy intersection with loud traffic 24/7. Parking lot was full, sometimes with people who weren’t staying there, but doing some kind off business out of there cars. Place was pretty clean though. No where within 10 miles to eat. Motel is in a scary neighborhood in South Central LA.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I liked how quiet it was but I didn’t like how the showers weren’t hot enough
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was a pretty comfortable place to spend the night in.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Employee at check in was super nice and helpful. Room was ok
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Absolutely nothing. Roaches dirty room. Blood stained sheets. Broken air conditioner flimsy flat balled up pillows..No refund or discount for the dissapointment bug bites and disgustingness. I dont even know how this place is still up and running
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This is not in the best area of town, and is definitely an economy stay. That being said, the room is nicely decorated, with granite in the bathrooms and the bedding was clean. The parking is off-street and enclosed. It had a window AC unit that was a bit noisy but adjustable to our comfort level. There really were not much in the way of amenities - didn't see vending or ice. No toiletries beyond a bar of soap and a packet of shampoo. But if you are just looking for a place to crash for the night, this place is affordable and suffcient.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location!! Very friendly staff!! It's time to renovate the property.
- Jay (4/5): - I didn’t like nothing at all at this property but the price of the room.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Didn’t like anything. There was graffiti all over the furniture. The paint on the walls were chipped off. There was ONE towel. The fire alarm was ripped off of the ceiling. 94$ for the worst hotel stay of my life. I want my money back. There was weed residue on the dresser as well from previous tenants. It was disgusting
- Dorcas (2/5): - It was not so good. The room are big though, no amenities for morning coffee/tea. There is no value for money in this hotel. On a couple of occassions my room had to be cleaned at 9:00 pm when I got back on demand that it should be cleaned. They would tell you they were busy that is why they did not clean.
The location is okay if you are looking for something simple.
- LaRonda (10/5): - Great customer service i loved it
- Verified traveler (2/5): Never again! - Don't stay here. So so dirty.
- Jonathan (8/5): Work With Whatchu Got - The motel could benefit from an upgrade. The rooms are shoddy, furnishing bear heavy graffiti and cigarette burns and some of the bathroom walls have mildew. Overall, the rooms are fairly clean for whatever that’s worth, it’s not a bad spot to lay your head if your for those on a tight budget. WiFi is a B+ and seems stronger in rooms closer to the front desk. Some shower knobs need to be toyed with for hot water. The area, itself leaves little to be desired, but it’s not dangerous. If you’re looking for affordable, decent lodging within distance to DTLA, Central Inn Motel is the place.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - A lot of stuff was broken and graffiti all over. Limited parking. Not a nice area. Next to a club with loud music. No tv. Advertisement for bedbug extermination around the corner from the motel. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- Sabrina (10/5): - Wasn’t in the best part of town but was definitely a nice room. A family owns this motel and lives up stairs so I felt safe being there. Close enough to walk to a handful of places to get food, too. Great shower, comfortable bed, and clean room. Just wish they had a few more parking spaces but I’m sure there’s parking around the corner.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - No phone in room yet was oddly comfy and door latch busted off
- Bertha (10/5): Awesome service - It was very clean and tighty it made my stay very welcoming i recommend the stay at this place to anyone..... It was inexpensive. Plus the customer service was absolutely responsive and prompt
- Cesar (10/5): - I had a great time and experience staying in this motel it was awesome and super clean
- leland (8/5): Clean & Comfortable - The motel was clean and comfortable, I did not have any issues.
- Kingme44 (2/5): - Dirty small rooms in a horrible neighborhood. Got back from the game at midnight and there were no parking spots. Took half hour to find a place to park 3 blocks away! DO NOT STAY HERE!
- Man (2/5): - The power went out, horrible and rude service. The room had the walk damaged. We left at 1030pm dude to the horrible condition. People knocking on the door and no one even being at the door. Rude
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Area wasn't the greatest and when I moved the night stand to look for a power outlet, there was a used condom on the floor!!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The stay was great , easy check in. Great service and professional . The room was good except there was only two small pillows and a bit uncomfortable .
- Alaa (8/5): - Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Clean rooms. Fast check in.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - This place is cute. And not the cleanest. And quite noisy.
It’s not the peak of comfort, but you get what you pay for. This is definitely bare bones, with outdated amenities and all sorts of aspects in need of repair.
- Kevin (10/5): - Definetly a great room for the price. When im in town i wouldnt go anywhere else. Only thing is they need to upgrade to HDMI cables for the cable.
- Kevink (10/5): - Fast and easy checkin. Room was lean and the lady at the fro t dest was very helpful
- Daniel (10/5): Great Place - Basic, clean enough, nice people, cheap and available.
- Holly (8/5): - Great value for the money. This isn't five-star, but the location is great, and the bed was clean and comfortable. The room and bathroom were both spacious, and the bathroom's updates were nice.
- Verified traveler (4/5): would not stay here again - It's cheap and it's close to USC. But the motel is very old and neighborhood very sketchy. Furniture has graffiti, toilet water runs all night, and thin wall that makes neighboring room phone call sound like right by my side. Right on street and noisy indeed. Toilet seat cover has more scratches than a public toilet.
- joel (2/5): - The room was very stinky... I guess because there was mold in the bathroom... there was a leak under the toilet tank...
There were roaches too...
for that kind of service the price was very high... I paid close to 80 dollars for one night....
