Guest Reviews
- Vicki (8/5): -
- Julie (3/5): Very disappointing. - The location was very convenient. The most expensive place we stayed at on our trip and the poorest condition. The shower base was cracked with tape over it. The accommodation was cramped. It was difficult to find. The map sent digitally to us did not open. For the price it was very unacceptable. We stayed at a wonderful place the night before at Jindabyne which was $30 cheaper. You need to update. We will not book here again.
- TAYLAH (9/5): Room for improvement - This was the second time we stayed "This time we had a more newer cabin which was awesome! Warm and comfortable. The first time we stayed we were travelling and tried to get assistance to book a room and were met by average to very poor service told to book on line, due to bad net connection we booked via their website which cost me a considerable difference in higher price. Upon arrival we were looking forward to a meal to find the gas bottle was empty and no answer to the phone! Gave up tired and went to bed! Bed was lousy uncomfortable and I did not appreciate having to lug our luggage in so far from the car park after driving from QLD. The customer service could be way better one simple phone booking would have been easier the first time and the second time we stayed was because everything else was booked out, and we were moving into our house the next day! As a former Motel reception person I feel your business lacks human interaction with Managers. The second time a much better cabin with everything working and clean still very expensive for what you get! Oh and the grass was to long and guests advised us of snakes!
- Tracey (7/5): Would stay there again - Beautiful setting Doona covers could be cleaned
- Pamela (7/5): Beautiful Park but in need of some updates, that are coming (I hope). - Location. Cold metal seats around the dining table?
Vertical blind in unit was damaged so could not be fully closed for privacy.
Cabin located right next to both blackwater dump point and multiply rubbish wheelie bins near park entrance where almost every vehicle entering drives by the cabins.
Park is to be updated so hopefully some redesign of accomodation away from high traffic/utility areas might occur. I wouldn’t want the cabin I had if park was at high capacity as it would be endlessly noisy & lacking privacy. Tariff was relatively high in relation to other possible accomodation in the area also.
- Anna (8/5): - Good location to town. Warm and accommodating for our family of 6. Beautiful view of the creek and paddocks from Our cabin.
Beds were clean and warm. Benches had marks on them when we arrived, cleaned off once we washed them.
Tried to contact them via phone during business hours and received no call back only communication was via email, office not manned.
Only hand soap provided so dont forget your shampoo.
- Bruce (5/5): - Ground very good
Big communal kitchen Check in was a bit awkward
No wifi pass word supply
Tv reception not very good

- John (6/5): Thousand bug nights - Great location over looking the Nariel Creek in a quiet corner of the park. Nice spacious cabin with comfy king size bed. At night we were invaded by thousands of small bugs that could fit through the fly wire screens. No bug spray provided. This has regretfully negatively impacted our scores which otherwise would be MUCH higher. Would definitely stay again but take some bug spray.
- Ross (1/5): - Facilities were not clean, there were no cook top only microwave
- Peter (8/5): Great location in a beautiful area. - I could not have asked for a cabin in a better location at the park, it suited me perfectly, the cabin was lovely, clean, comfortable and quiet. Nothing
- Gillian (8/5): Lovely location - Shower/Toilet set up was very tight (but adequate)
- Jordan (10/5): Great spot and great caravan park -
- Kim (5/5): -
- Gina (7/5): -
- Anirban (8/5): Relaxing - Location Could’ve been more utensils

- Lisa (9/5): - The location was beautiful. The trees and park are beautifully maintained The light switch in the kids room was broken. Fine for an overnight stay!
- Renfree (1/5): Disappointing. The staff were not the least concerned that were leaving. - The location is lovely and the grounds are well kept. The pretty creek that runs beside the park is lined with trees that make it a beautiful vista. We were unable to stay for the 2 nights we had booked and paid for due to the following very important reasons:
1. The cabin had a very strong smell of body odour. So much so we could prepare food in the space.
2. The bed was noisy and very uncomfortable.
3. The aircon did not work properly which when the temperature dropped to minus 3, it was very cold and we had bring in another blanket from our car.
This is a real shame as the park is a lovely location but rather than put up with this lack of comfort, we elected to travel the 5 hours back to Melbourne thus shortening our weekend break. Very annoying and disappointing.
- Hayley (10/5): -
- Madi (5/5): Okay overnighter to get to where we need to go! - Lovely park, quiet and had a river flowing through. Really nice location.
Staff were accomodating and friendly. The ants coming out of the bathroom sink, very old facilities, very uncomfortable bed. Felt quite dirty. definitely needs a bit of a spruce up. Linoleum peeling everywhere. Grotty silicone in shower.
- Martin (9/5): -
- Praveen Pon Andavar (10/5): -
- Jackson (4/5): It was ok, but not a place to come back or recommend to fiends - Nice area and surroundings . Facilities like toilets and showers were great, building seemed recently renovated. Cabins are outdated, old and small. Bathroom inside cabin was full of water on the floor.
- Klaus (10/5): -
- Martin (9/5): Superb -
- Lachlan (7/5): Nice enough for an overnight stay on the way through to the snow. - The location was very quiet and peaceful. Bedding and toilet were clean. The floor, linoleum in the style of timber, had grooves in it which had collected a lot of dirt and not been scrubbed out. Going over this type of surface only with a mop does nothing. It needs to scrubbed out with a brush. Also, the reverse cycle air conditioner barely heated the cabin.
- Christine (6/5): Pleasant -
- Clement (10/5): Cosy comfy home away from home. - Quite, beautiful location.. 2h drive to either Mt Thredbo and Mt Beauty.

The location was 6km from the town of Corryong. Good flat walk if you like walking. Local man Pete was a friendly taxi driver, and the Black sheep cafe was a local gem.

- Bettina (8/5): Very good - Very friendly and efficient staff. Beautiful location, and the park is very clean and tidy and is great to relax.
- Chris (5/5): Passable - The grounds were lush and green and beautifully maintained.
Our cabin was tiny but clean. The bed was pushed against the wall so not ideal for those of us who need to use the bathroom during the night. Cabin size
- Kristen (9/5): A brief trip, comfortable and on a hot day the airconditioner being on for us was a blessing! Such a beautiful location, - Beautiful location
- Margaret (8/5): Very good -
- Colin (7/5): Had a great stay. Will be back. - Great location Kitchen facilities. Thought there was going to be oven and cook top
- Gary (5/5): Overnight at Colac Colac - The park is nice location with shady trees and river nearby. The cabin is old small and squeezed between the office and storage/ fridges so motor runs all night. Will ask for other more modern cabin further into the park near river next time.
- Carolan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the lovely trees, lush grass, amenities block, the bbq setup, the views and the creek. We will be back
Mags & Brian Boardman
- Mark (5/5): Okay, but could do with some improved comfort - The grounds are beautiful, it is spacious, good carparking Cabin probably didn't meet expectation of a 'chalet' - as advertised. Metal chairs uncomfortable.
- Des (7/5): no issues - no surprises it is as per the photos, clean cabin room no problems at all nothing
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Sheridan (9/5): Superb -
- Anthony (9/5): Great location and value for money. - Location, friendly and helpful staff. Price. Water leaking outside - side where I parked my car.
- Christian (5/5): Relatively nice spacious cabin in well maintained grounds, however it required some maintenance. - Grounds were extensive with nice lawn areas. Cabin was quiet and well separated from other accommodation. Cabin was clean and relatively roomy. Nice small verandah. Maintenance was required for entrance fly wire door and main bedroom wardrobe door. Exhaust fan in bathroom didn't work.
- Erin (7/5): Good -
- Donald (8/5): Very good -
- Nazmul (2/5): Very poor -
- Chandrasekar (8/5): Very good - Spacious place - was as described. Not exactly value for money as it's a bit remote...

- Erik (8/5): I’d highly recommend the Colac Colac C/P for the above reasons. - Beautifully shaded
Great location beside the Nariel Creek
Quiet and peaceful. Nothing I didn’t like.
- Randall (9/5): Superb -
- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb -
- Ian (9/5): Great park - Very clean park and facilities in a wonderful location. Fortunately we were only staying one night as it was a small cabin. If staying longer I suggest booking a larger cabin.
- Dettling (9/5): Superb - Beautiful spot, great place to stop
- Patricia (9/5): Very comfortable - The caravan park is full of beautiful big trees and there’s a lovely stream
- Brad (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (8/5): Beautiful view - Caravan park just out of town Bathroom small
- Larrie (7/5): Small Cabin - The grounds and the park were beautiful. The stream that runs across one of the boundaries plays a big part in the overall experience. There are plenty of mature trees that provide necessary summer shade. Unfortunately, our cabin was the last availab
le one. It was small but functional. The downside was the close location of the cabin to the proximity of the generator or whatever machine that started up at 4.15 am. We had no choice but to get up. It would be nice to stay close to the stream next time.
- Stacey (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful shady park in a pretty creekside setting. Park is incredibly tidy and the cabin itself was immaculate. I stay in a lot of cabins and this is undoubtedly the best. Great size, layout and facilities. Having a toilet separate to the bathroom is a bonus. Nothing at all.
- Brett (10/5): - Very scenic quiet by tge Nariel Creek waterfront
- Anthony (8/5): - A nice place to spend a week or two with clean amenities and friendly staff. Lots of things to do locally as well.
- Terry (10/5): Exceptional -
