Corinna (10/5): Tiefenentspannte Tage - Das Hotel liegt abseits vom Rummel mitten im Grünen, dennoch erreicht man kostenfrei mit einem Bus in einer halben Stunde das nette Städtchen Schmallenberg. Wer Entspannung sucht, ist hier richtig. Eine sehr großzügige und abwechslungsreiche Saunalandschaft mit großem Schwimmbad und Ruheräumen sorgen ebenso dafür wie die vielen gemütlichen Sitzmöglichkeiten drinnen und draußen. Das Personal, ob Reinigungspersonal, Handwerker, Empfang oder Servicekraft ist durchweg herzlich, so dass man sich äußerst willkommen und direkt heimisch fühlt. Mein kleines Einzelzimmer war gemütlich und funktional mit Wandschrank eingerichtet. Ein breites Einzelbett mit sehr guter Matratze sorgte für einen tiefen und erholsamen Schlaf. Ein Korb mit flauschigem Bademantel und Handtüchern für den Spabereich stand schon im Zimmer bereit. Das Badezimmer ließ bei mir ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen. Sehr positiv fand ich, dass Pflegeprodukte der Umwelt zu Liebe nicht per se in jedem Bad vorhanden waren, aber problemlos bei Bedarf an der Rezeption erhältlich waren. Ich hatte Halbpension gebucht. Das Essen war sehr lecker und durch die Büffetform äußerst abwechslungsreich. Ganz besonders lecker war das frisch und individuell zubereitete Omelett beim Frühstück. Positiv überrascht war ich von einem zusätzlichen Mittagssnack mit Suppe, vielfältigen Salaten, Kuchen und Kaffee von Mittag bis Nachmittag. Ich komme bestimmt bald wieder. Ich habe diesen wunderbaren Bademantel gekauft und stelle zuhause fest, dass ich nun mit einer Stickerei darauf Werbung für Ihr Hotel mache. Zuhause kein Problem, aber in einem Spa sieht es so aus, als habe ich ihn geklaut. Habe die Idee, die Rechnung vom Kauf laminiert darüber anzustecken. 😁

Stefan (8/5): Super Hotel, Super Essen, Super Wellness, Restaurantservice 10 Klassen unterdem Preis der Zimmer! - Das Essen war Top! Alles Speisen absolut auf dem Punkt des Geschmacks. Das Personal im Wellnessbereich ist sehr gut! Aufmerksam, freundlich, zuvorkommend und absolut Gastorientiert. Das Essen? Ein kulinarisches Meisterwerk, wirklich. Da könnte man glatt meinen, man sei in einem Spitzenrestaurant gelandet. Wäre da nicht dieser kleine, unbedeutende Störfaktor namens Servicepersonal, das sich offenbar zur Lebensaufgabe gemacht hat, die gute Arbeit der Küche systematisch zu sabotieren. Anstatt dass man als zahlender Gast vielleicht mal freundlich behandelt wird, bekommt man das volle Entertainmentprogramm: öffentliche Standpauken quer durch den Speisesaal, weil man es wagt, nicht militärisch pünktlich um 19:30 Uhr am Tisch zu sitzen. Schließlich ist ja allgemein bekannt, dass Menschen im Urlaub nichts lieber tun, als sich wie Schuljungen vor versammelter Mannschaft rechtfertigen zu müssen. Das Beste daran? Beim Check-In wird natürlich erzählt, man könne ganz entspannt zwischen 19:15 und 20:00 zum Abendessen erscheinen. Haha, was für ein gelungener Witz! Der wahre Spaß beginnt dann, wenn man diesen „Freiraum“ tatsächlich nutzt – und sich dafür an Ort und Stelle behandeln lassen darf, als hätte man persönlich die heilige Ordnung des Hauses geschändet. Zum Glück gibt’s da noch den Wellnessbereich – dort arbeiten echte Profis! Freundlich, aufmerksam, einfach großartig. Man möchte fast dauerhaft im Spa wohnen bleiben, nur um nicht noch einmal das zweifelhafte Schauspiel des „Service“ im Restaurant ertragen zu müssen.
