Guest Reviews
- Kelly (10/5): - What a beautiful little gem! Very quaint historical manor with lots of history. Rebecca the Innkeeper was so sweet. She made the stay that much more incredible. She is very kind, helpful and an amazing chef. Her breakfasts were a great way to start the day. She made us feel so at home. Will definitely return next yr. If you have the time walk up the back trails to the waterfall. Beautiful. Thanks Rebecca. Hope to see you again next yr!
- Gerhard (10/5): - Overall it's just a feel-good place where you can take a deep breath.
- Bradley (10/5): - It was a beautiful place that was very quiet and relaxed. Our hosts were lovely and the breakfast was pretty sizeable. We look forward to coming back sometime!
- Peter (10/5): - Rebecca, the innkeeper, was the most wonderful welcoming person one could possibly imagine. She should be treasured by her employer.
- steve (10/5): - Lovely historic property. Rebecca, who cooked breakfast and welcomed us, was so wonderful and a great cook too. She also left us bowls of ice cream every night. Rooms are lovely with vintage furnishings. Quiet and beautiful garden. A special place.
- JPC (10/5): - HOSPITALITY AT IT’S BEST! thanks to “Lady Colleen”. The host and her team preserve the history of the manor while catering to the guests’ wellbeing with great kindness.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I would like to visit again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very unique and quiet. It’s was tastefully decorated and looked period appropriate. I really loved it and plan to go back.
- Reta (10/5): - WONDERFUL....RELAXING...BEAUTIFUL.....I CAN HARDLY WAIT TO RETURN....SERVICE WAS AMAZING...
- Verified traveler (8/5): - What is unique is the quietness. The staff is friendly and the food is good.
What I would have liked is a change of towels (face cloths) as we were there four days and used the same one for 4 days. Also, they were kind enough to offer a snack in late afternoon, but late afternoon was 7 pm. For us from Alberta, it meant 8 pm. It was really too late as it meant it was about the time we were at a restaurant. I would suggest to offer the cheese and wine at 5 pm.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Incredible quaint Manor. Tucked on a hillside in Crawford Bay. Very gracious hosts - Charotte and Callum going above and beyond. This is a truly great find
- Reta (10/5): Restful, amazing weekend... - AMAZING....LOVED EVERY MINUTE...Unique, quiet, clean and VERY BEAUTIFUL...Great staff...Can hardly wait to return...
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful charming place. This place is a little piece of heaven. Cabin was cozy and serene surroundings ouside. A must if you love peace and quiet in a superb nature setting.
- Laddie (10/5): Charming turn of the 20th century manor - Beautiful and charming old family homestead with a rustic and historic feel set in a wilderness setting. The rooms are cosy and romatic and the downstairs room has its own private balcony. The house is only a few minutes drive from the little village of Crawford Bay where there are anfew nice dining extablishments including a pub that serves the best ever mousaka. Would not hesitate to stay at Wedgewood Retreat again.
- Casey (8/5): Going back in time! - It was like we went back 100 years in this place. Large room. Very relaxing setting on the whole property.
- Verified traveler (10/5): A wonderful place to stay! - We absolutely loved this place! The home is a bed and breakfast setup but you will have to pay for the two types of breakfast offered. The room was spacious, the property is well kept with many outdoor seating areas. There is a hiking trail in the back. The room is many thoughtful amenities. Very clean, quiet and would stay here again and again and recommend this place highly!
- John (8/5): - beautifully restored historic property...very quiet and comfortable....

- Joe and Kay (8/5): - The manor and location was great. The breakfast was delicious but pricey. First time we have ever stayed at a B&B where breakfast was not included.
