Guest Reviews
- David (8/5): - Power went out for 4 hours out of his control but he let me stay a couple hours longer than check out the next day.. great guy will be back
- Davila (10/5): -
- Camp (1/5): Not to be repeated. - The location is handy and the building looks well kept. The owner's are pretty rude. There were constant problems with the TV and remote, and the owner is the only person able to fix it but he's sleeping and this went on half a day
- Willie (8/5): -
- Deborah (5/5): Only a one night place - Location. Bathroom was clean. Floor seemed clean Smelled bad in room. A/C needs new filter. Blanket had cigarette holes, sheet clean but stained. Old pillows.
- Camp (1/5): -
- Frank (5/5): For just one night on the road it was ok. - Price No breakfast or continental breakfast.
- Camp (6/5): - It was clean and the outside of the facility was well kept. The towels need replacing. Also, the TV gave us some difficulties
- John (8/5): Comfortable room, good Value and friendly staff. - Good location and plenty of parking. It is easily accessible and well lit. N/A
- TAMMI (1/5): - Nothing was treated in humane Different people
- Deborah (9/5): -
- Lydia (8/5): -
- Melinda (8/5): - Helpful staff. Pillows are not comfortable. The fridge was a bit noisy, which was noticable while trying to sleep.

- Gerald (8/5): - The day itself was fine. I would have enjoyed having the room cleaned or have had more towels to use besides one face towel that I had to use both nights. The parking lot is lit up. The rooms are clean so I enjoyed that. I travel often so checking into a hotel is normal for me however having a smiling face to check in with also is normal for me. I am not saying everyone has to have a smile, however in business when someone is spending money with you you tend to show your appreciation with a smile. Now that had nothing to do with the stay and I will stay again, so yes, I approve this hotel.
- Emma (8/5): - Clean & perfect for a quick overnight stay.
- Salinas (7/5): -
- Pardo (5/5): - Better assistance on fixing internet issues No commitment

- RubyB (7/5): Overall a decent place to stay. - Staff/owners were very friendly. Room was clean and a decent size. Only one night stand, would of been nice to have 2 as we both had things that needed to be charged. And I like to keep water next to me so I can drink through out the night. Room got cold very quickly and bed was comfortable. Pillows could of been better, they were really flat and only 3 were provided. Bed comforter had a rip and stuck on gum in a couple of places. But overall it was nice, property was clean, other guest weren't loud so that was a plus. Would stay in again if going through Luling. It was close to Bucces and not to far awat from the center of town. A second night stand, better comforter and more and better pillows.
- Cherlyn (10/5): - The love the property owner had for the residents there. Always professional and smiled. When I go out of town again, Im choosing Coachway Inn. Whooooooo!!!
- Issac (10/5): - Good people
- Marlon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jason (6/5): Pleasant -
- Marc (6/5): Be alert at Check-in - Although I clearly told the attendant I had a reservation, he tried to charge me full price. Had to repeat over and over had a reservation…finally he got it.
Overall, the room was comfortable and worth the price.

- Francisco (8/5): Very good -
- Garcia (7/5): Good -
- Oscar (2/5): - Roaches all over the room, old and unmaintained, and dirty all over!
- Cecilia (10/5): - Clean quite room
- Efim (2/5): - The hotel room is horrible - the “white” towels are dirty and look yellow; the microwave does not work and in order to turn it on, it needs to be unplugged and only number 2 or 3 works to start it; the AC until leaked water on the floor overnight; the sheets were with holes; the room was full of cricket and there was a cockroach in the dog’s water bowl. Spend more money and stay at a better hotel.
No breakfast or anything - the front office door remained LOCKED in the morning too. The staff smiled but it was absolutely not genuine.
- George (10/5): - The good size room. Clean and quiet.
- Teresa (2/5): Not recommended - Roaches, not clean, toiletries wasn’t at all what expected.
- Samuel (2/5): - Towel where dirty they didn't clean the room next day.
- Joseph (10/5): - Next to town
- Slava (6/5): - It's a bit messy, but for lack of an alternative, it's fine.
- Joyce K (10/5): - Great stay!
- Janet (10/5): Definitely will stay there next year - Quite, respectful Everything was good
- Siamak (2/5): Very poor -
- Norma (10/5): Exceptional - My stay at Coachway was exceptional. I traveled for work.
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. It was quiet, I had WiFi, refrigerator, microwave, and an ice machine on the grounds, everything was in perfect working order. It had plenty of parking. The staff was pleasantly nice. Most important thing, I felt safe here. I highly recommend this place if you are in Luling Tx.
- Kevin (7/5): Good - The lining was very nasty looking The plumbing was bad
- ALFREDO (2/5): Don't stay here!!! - The place was dirty, hair on the sheets, ice machine did not work, the owner of the place was behind a dark window...very scary place.
- Jennie (1/5): Bad -
- John (10/5): - Great Hospitality
- Roderick (1/5): Bad - Quiet Charged me a extra $20 to check out at 11 why I don’t know when check out clearly states 11am.
- Kevin (2/5): Very poor -
- Mendez (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phillip (9/5): Superb - comfortable bed, hot shower, very clean, staff very attentive and friendly. I will stay here again
- Dalila (4/5): Good hotel but VERY rude staff. - just the sleep The staff. Very rude and also very pushy people. You were able to tell in their body language and breathing on how angry they got quickly. The tone in their voices were very aggressive. They started to touch personal belongings and tried to throw them away without consent.
- James (10/5): - Always clean and quiet
- Pedro (3/5): Felt rushed like we weren’t wanted there like we were forced to stay but the only other place was nasty dirty luling inn - The property was maintained The owners were really rude
- Pedro (3/5): Poor -
- Pedro (3/5): Poor -
- Pedro (3/5): Poor -
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brian (8/5): - The room was very clean.
- Santiago (6/5): - I booked a smoking room and when I checked in, they didn't have any and stayed in a nonsmoking room
- Josefina (3/5): Bad customer service -
- johnlN7661ZV (2/5): Watch out on pricing! - Be carful on price!!! I called the Wednesday before or stay and was quoted $95.
When I called Friday to reserve a room for Saturday no rate was discussed. When I got there at 10pm Saturday he wanted to charge me $192!!! We argued and he brought it down to $156. The next morning I went in and argued some more and he offered $50 more off. Other than that, the place was okay at best. We will never be going there ever again!
- Natalie (4/5): Disappointing -
- Diane (8/5): - It was ok . Only gave 1 face towel for 2 guest. Best thing it was pet friendly.
- Kathy (6/5): - The property was okay! The lawn had been mowed but was covered in stickers! My dog couldn’t walk on it! It appeared that they had renovated, but didn’t scrape anything down before they painted so the underlayment was showing through the paint. There was hair on the floor of the bathroom, and in the bathtub. They put us in a room across from the vending machine, which was beside the ice machine. It dropped ice every 15 minutes all night long.
- Charlotte (7/5): Good -
- Jesus (8/5): Quiet place for a Friday night stay - Comfortable bed. Clean bathroom. Quiet location. Not too much traffic in area despite being next to a highway. Minutes away from a Buc-ee's. Almost missed it because the first sign I saw says CoachWay Motel instead of Coachway Inn. (Sign on building however does say Inn.)
Disgusting popcorn smell early in the morning when waking up. (I tolerated it so it wasn't that much of a problem.)
- Kenneth (7/5): Overall, our stay was a good value. - Clean, comfortable room. Ongoing remodel construction noise lasted until after 7:00pm and noisy neighbors above us were outside partying until midnight.
- Louis (8/5): - I would've preferred not to be so close to other guest bcuz clearly there were empty rooms available to accommodate.
- Patricia (8/5): Good for the price - They need was very comfortable.
The towels were old and stained in the bathroom.
For the price it was good
- Juan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (2/5): I'd probably not go back to rude owners and thus shanty facility. - I did not see or partake in any food or beverage The booking said check out time was at 11 but they told me it was at 10. They called and woke me up at 10 saying the internet was wrong and that check out was at 10 even though I told them it said 11. You'd think they would change the time or honor their mistake. Comforter was dirty, towels had holes and it realed of smoke.
- Stacy (6/5): First room we were given stunk to high heaven with cigarette smoke, I refused to sleep in that room. - Breakfast was not offered. The place is ran by a family who seemed to live there. The very young adult came to the check in counter from the back wearing no shoes and a mouthful of food. We may have interrupted his late afternoon snack while he had been watching TV. The room we were given smelled of cigarette smoke and was outdated, dark, and dingy. The two pillows that were offered were flat and so uncomfortable.
- Victoria (2/5): - Take your money elsewhere and pay more for a better stay elsewhere. Let me preface this by stating that I travel alot and usually stay in Motel 6's so I've seen some pretty bad motels. This tops the list for the worst stay I've had. I debated on sleeping in my car. The room was just a bedsheet, no comforter. When I was checking out, I was accused of stealing a comforter by the family who owns this hotel. Why would I take a bed bug infested comforter with me?
I'm guessing this is a scam tactic to get people to pay for more supplies for them. After I opted them to look through my car for a "comforter" that I never received, they said "oh, no it's OK. No worries." worst stay ever at a hotel. Will not be back, and will tell everyone who passes through to avoid this motel at all costs.
- Nina (10/5): Exceptional - always Clem and quite
- Daniel (4/5): - While I was waiting to check in, the guy working the front desk handed a customer keys to two separate rooms without verifying who he was or what room he was in.
- Nina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ernest (4/5): - Rude people not friendly did not give you receipt
- Angelina (10/5): Staff was friendly, room was clean. - Breakfast was not offered No coffee in room
- James (9/5): it was great - it was clean nothing
- Scottie (2/5): - The room was filthy! Bugs everywhere!
- Richard (2/5): Bad night - WE were given a room next to the ice machine and sodas machine. We had a hard time trying to sleep because of that. To much noise. We arrived early and they had plenty of other rooms that were more quiet.
- Guadalupe (6/5): - We stay only for one night and the room was actually really good i was impressed that had no carpet wich i loved, location it's not bad the surrounding area was clean and quiet the watermelon water tower is can be seen from the back street 👍 but the negative side was that showers show not enough cleaning there was hair's every where in the bathroom and not enough towels when we ask for extras they said they didn't have any more available wich it makes no sense we reserve the room for 4 and we only got 2 towels and 1 shampoo and 1 conditioner packs we were also charge $25 dollars for pet fees wich in the website says $20 made no sense
- Hailey (10/5): - You get what is expected based on the price. Looked like they tried to do some remodeling but it’s not perfect. Clean room and bathroom.
- dany838 (6/5): Good value. - As a budget minded traveler I am happy with a clean, comfortable quiet accommodation where I can get a good nights sleep. That was my experience at the Coachway Inn. No problems with check-in or parking and everything in the room worked fine.
While the motel is ok, the restaurants in town like to close and go home for dinner leaving the traveller with few choices.
- Alan (8/5): Smell - The hotel was ok but the room had a funny smell like oil or gas! I would give this hotel a 5 because of the smell! No breakfast or pool!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not sure what that $20 pet fee is for considering. - Front desk help was unprofessional and did not wear a mask. Carpeting in the room was greasy feeling and stained - which was surprising considering that the front desk told me that the $20 pet fee was for "deep cleaning the carpets." The furniture had been DEVOURED by a dog at some point, so pieces of the MDF flaked off every time something touched it. Shower was weak, and the complimentary shampoo bottle appeared to have been reused. Towels were thin and stained. AC didn't work properly, would only stay on a moment before turning off and staying off until you manually turned it off and back on.
- amandawK2184IV (10/5): Great low budget hotel - Great little hotel=clean, courteous staff who very ethical and professional when a billing issue came up=town smells like oil as oil fields surround the place== no restaurants open after around 9 at night or so -plan accordingly!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great little discount hotel - Very good hotel, room was clean, staff was very courteous. Booked too many nights and shortened my reservation and they cheerfully refunded my extra night.
The town has no restaurants open after around 9pm so make sure to plan accordingly. The town also is famous for smelling like oil, as there are wells are all round it, so know that the smell is from that!
- Andres (2/5): - After our first hotel reservation was cancelled due to a "broken pipe" a week before our stay, we were assigned to this place because there were no more hotels in Austin for those dates due to the F1 GP.
First of all it was not a hotel but a MOTEL.We found broken, torn and dirty chairs, walls in bad condition with peeling paint, wooden furniture affected by weevils, corroded and sulfated sink faucets, microwave and mini bar fridge dripping with food debris, rusted doors and in general a health hazard for the guests.
The reservation was supposed to include breakfast, but at the front desk they only provided coffee of dubious quality.
We suggest that you remove this place from your list to prevent other guests from having the same bad experience we had.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice but paid too much - The place was a safe place to lay your head. We over paid but I assume it was because there was no availability less than an hour all around Austin (big event for weekend) which made me book an hour away. I just wish prices didn’t fluctuate so much due to events. We paid $180 for this after tax but this is an easy average $70 night hotel.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I didn't like that we did not have power for hours at a time and when we tried to get our money back so we can go to anouther hotel they told us no refunds so we had to stay in a hot room all night and half of the day
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Room was 88° when we entered, power was off for hours, with no back up generator. There were roaches in our room. Smelled like weed inside and outside of room.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The parking area was large enough to park my tractor so I didn't have to find alternate parking before checking into my room.
