- Gary (6/5): - This place was dark, dingy, unwelcoming, and cold. Not at all what we were expecting. Apparently the owners are getting older and don't appear to have much interest in welcoming their guest. The website referenced a "gourmet breakfast". We were told by the host there wouldn't be breakfast served and she recommended a few local restaurants. I was understanding the price included breakfast. We were quite happy that our reservation was for only one night. It was rather spooky being there alone. At least it was quiet for sleeping and the bed was comfortable. We won't be staying here again, that's for sure. I wish there was a way to get my money back!

- Judy (4/5): - Beautiful Victorian Inn on the pricy side. Good location. No one is on property if you have a problem. We had problems with the heat. They need instructions for the thermostat. The room temp was 67which is good for sleep but not otherwise. We could only get one channel on the TV because there were no batteries in the remote. Parking lot is not large enough to get all guests in it. Needed more choice in teabags. Lovely setting but they need to up their services.
- Peter (10/5): - A real treat. I've been coming to Williamsport for years, heard about millionaire's row and finally took a stroll and spent a couple of nights. The restaurant is awesome, food was delicious and then some.

- Richard (8/5): - The breakfasts were great. Everyday something new and interesting was cooked up. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Other guests were very interesting. The old house has tons of character. Yet, old houses need lots of touch up and this house needs a little freshening up in the bedroom and bathroom areas. We will be coming back.
- Jim (8/5): - The only negative we have with the visit and stay is that access to the parking was not provided until after we circled several blocks multiple times looking for a way in. Only after a phone call to a VM did we receive a text as to how to gain access. Other than that, we greatly enjoyed our stay.

- Kosturi (10/5): - We stayed for a night on a holiday weekend. A number of restaurants were closed the Morning of checkout. But the owners were so sweet, even though they don’t serve breakfasts on Mondays they still made all the guests breakfast. It was really sweet, we definitely appreciated the hospitality. We would definitely recommend the place on service alone. The house itself is beautiful and our stay was amazing!

- Ron (10/5): - Just a wonderful place to take a break. Nice Victorian Home with a fabulous restaurant next door serving up an excellent selection. Owners and staff are attentive to details. This was our 5 time to spend a night or two while enjoying the dinning opportunity next door.
- Robert (10/5): Very charming and memorable Hotel - Very charming old mansion on the street known as Millionaires' Row in Williamsport. Hosts were equally charming and warmly welcoming, and the room was spacious and comfortable. After a long drive and a long hike that afternoon, we were not very keen on touring Williamsport, which aside from the uniquely interesting old houses on that street does not have much attraction. Going one block to the rear or front of the street entirely changes the neighborhood, so it does not seem a place that encourages a longer stay. But the surrounding country has excellent touring and hiking prospects so we would definitely return and stay here again for that. I do suggest however that it may be more practical to trade some of the authentic antique furniture in the common areas for reproductions that are actually comfortable to sit in, and to put bedside lamps on BOTH sides of the bed, that are bright enough for night-time reading.

We loved the walk ability of the town, the architecture and houses everywhere (not just millionaires row), the mountain as a backdrop. Everything was so lovely we can’t wait to go back!

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Don't be an idiot and stay in a cookie cutter hotel when in Williamsport. This is the coolest place to stay. You will feel like you are in the 19th century. Brooke is your Maitre de Hotel and makes you feel right at home.

The only downside is that they only serve breakfast on the weekend. Not a big deal but the link from travelocity's website didn't make this very clear.
- Cathy (4/5): Workers start at 6:15am right outside your window! - Was so looking forward to having a nice romantic stay at an old mansion. The mansion had a lot of character. Maggie kept in contact with me and met me after 7:00pm to check us in. The room is what I expected and the bathroom huge and full of character. Bed was not so comfortable with overly heavy chunky linens. We had read reviews that the innkeeper also ran the gourmet restaurant next door. We learned that it was closed. Only open Thursday-Saturday. We were bummed as the info I read did not mention that. We went to an OK sports bar down the road. We went to bed and slept well until 6:18am when workers outside started their hydraulic high lift. It was the most loud, obnoxious sound I ever heard. I get construction is a necessity but this was on the mansion we were staying at! Not across the street. Next thing you know, we hear scraping outside our 2nd floor window. I opened the blinds and see a young man scraping paint from the window. He was 2 inches from me. I gave him nasty look and he said “what??!” and kept scraping. The owners of the place should have had explicit instructions to workers to not start until after 9am and to not go near windows in the rooms that were occupied. It was truly horrible and violating. Additionally, the kitchen in the common area was dirty. Fridge was jammed with misc items and looked like it was not wiped out in years.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Very unprepared for us. Never saw anyone to sign in. Room was dirty heavy dust on head board and furniture. Dead branch of bust in corner of our porch, wicker dirty and broken, birds nest in corner of porch. bathrobe was for a kid. TV was not able to get shows was stuck on Basketball and olympics. We were the only people in place. Cob Webs and hall window was filthy. I feel we were not acknowledged by the management. They were more concerned on the large wedding they had booked in Restaurant next door that they owned. We were returning from a funeral of A trooper I worked with and were hoping to get a nice different place to stay. It was "DIFFERENT" No one from Peter Hendric Inn has reached out to us. Would not recommend it to anyone after our Experience. Having stayed in many Bed an Breakfast places and if this was my first one I would never stay in one again. Dennis McMahon

No information or brochures to locate a breakfast cafe the next morning since the inn only serves it on weekends. We finally found a terrific cafe a few blocks down, The Backhouse Cafe.

No sign outside to give you a clue about parking, and no warning on Expedia about the maintenance taking place. (The ladders being set up at 6:30 AM were annoying.) Coffee was promised for AM but did not materialize.

The location was very convenient for our trip everything was centrally located near a lot off sights and restaurants. - Chris (6/5): Anniversary trip - This is an old mansion on millionaires row. Our room was on the first floor and we heard everyone going up and down the steps. The bathroom was just w closest with pink walls and a green toilet and sink. The television was just a small twelve inch flat screen hidden in the armoire. The furniture was antique as well as the large piano in the room. The fridge worked great, but I needed to plug it in. The bed was so close to the wall that I had to shimmy along the side to get out. The Jacuzzi tub had very little power. It was also a bit warm in the room for my liking and there was no thermostat to control the room. The place needs some repairs on the front door and the screen needs replaced on the door. The young lady who is in charge was quite friendly and helpful.
