• Marlous (1/5): Nooit meer. - De locatie. Al ligt het verder weg dan ze aangeven. Het is beloopbaar. Heel heel smerig. En zeer verouderd.
• Isis (7/5): Leuk verblijf en op loopafstand van het centrum. - Leuke locatie om te overnachten! De ruimte is wat klein vooral de badkamer, dat moet je maar net fijn vinden.
• Jaco (8/5): Loop afstand van het centrum en rustig - Prima ontbijt, veel keuze en goede kwaliteit Op een van de kamers liep het water van de douche niet goed weg, andere kamer werd de föhn bijelkaar gehouden met pleisters en viel uit elkaar en de vloeren waren niet helemaal schoon. Ook was het jammer dat het parkeren niet bij het hotel kan tenzij je 15 euro per dag betaald

• Hilary (9/5): Lovely quirky place to stay, short distance from the centre of Brugge - Lovely quirky place on the canal. Location was great, about a fifteen minute walk into the centre, but there is a free shuttle bus a five minute walk away at the station if wanted. Rooms nautical themed, nice view over the canal. Staff friendly. We chose not to have breakfast . Bar/reception opening hours a little erratic.

• Alison (8/5): Quirky fun place to stay with easy walk into town. - It was very cool to stay on a boat for the first time. My kids loved watching the boats coming and going on the river. It was a super easy gentle walk into town. Staff on the desk were very helpful. It was a little older and more tired looking than in the profile photos. Because the desk was only manned in the day time it also felt quite deserted in the evenings. The breakfast was expensive so we didn't eat there.

• Peggy (10/5): Hôtel atypique et charmant très bien situé pour visiter Brugges. - La localisation, l'environnement, le charme de la barge, la décoration qui rend le séjour inoubliable, le petit-déjeuner, le kit d'accueil pour le chien La musique trop forte de la barge voisine tout l'après-midi du dimanche, heureusement ça s'est arrêté avant le coucher.

Pas certains d'y revenir à ce prix. - Le calme du quartier et l'aspect authentique de l'hôtel Il faisait chaud et très lourd dans les chambres même avec un ventilateur, cela ne suffit pas. De plus, il n'y a pas de moustiquaire aux fenêtres. Il n'y a pas de bouilloire dans les chambres basiques. Les prises ne sont pas solides. Nous n'avons pas mangé sur place mais les boissons sont plutôt chers. En général, le prix me semble cher pour ce que l'hôtel peut offrir.

• Anastasia (5/5): Cute boat hotel - It was a pretty good location, not extremely central but we knew that and a 15 min walk to the centre wasn’t a problem for us. It’s a quiet area and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful On our last morning I woke up with some itchy cluster bites on my arm, however I didn’t really pay attention and we had to check out so we were occupied with that. Now, it’s been two weeks and I still have the bites and they’re red and itchy. After looking into reviews and doing some research I suspect it’s a bed bug bite. Of course I can’t say for sure, because I didn’t see nor paid attention to it in the first place while being in the room, but it’s a not very pleasant idea, that we might have brought some bed bugs home and contaminated all of our belongings. Considering the price we paid, it didn’t occur to me, that this could have been an issue in the first place.

Ne vale proprio la pena - 15 Min a piedi per arrivare in centro All' arrivo camera ghiacciata con caloriferi spenti, nessuno alla reception dopo le 16 .Camera piccolissima con bagno minuscolo con 1 flaconcino di doccia schiuma e 1 di shampoo per 2 persone per 2 giorni...La nostra stanza era sul lato giardino quindi mai visto il canale. Si sentono tutti i rumori delle camere di sopra. Senza che mettessimo il segnale "do not disturb" hanno deciso di non cambiare asciugamani e rifare la camera.

Logement insolite agréable au calme , avec une vraie jolie cabine de bateau bien équipée et décorée.Parking à 500 m pour 7 euros les 24 H . Petit déjeuner trop cher , 20 euros , pour ce qui est proposé , pris une fois le 1 janvier sur les trois nuits . Personnel ne parlant pas le Français ( ou ne voulant pas …Flandre oblige ) et un peu austère .

O facto de não haver a possibilidade de fazer check-in com funcionários depois das 16h, pois precisamos de algumas explicações. Estas questões poderiam ser respondidas por mensagem de whatsapp, mas, apesar de ter sido disponibilizado um número de contacto, não tinham whatsapp. E, como para fazer uma chamada para um número estrangeiro teríamos de pagar 5€ por minuto, acabamos por não esclarecer a dúvida.

• Oliver (4/5): A comfortable place to stay however I was disappointed with the breakfast. - The barge was unique place to stay and the room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was quite disappointing as me and my partner booked this place after seeing the breakfast advertised online, which included a wide variety of fresh food. To our surprise there was very little variety of food and bread was stale. All the equipment wasn’t ready to be used and the staff didn’t seem very bothered. Also there was very little onsite available parking and the closest carpark was a 10 minute walk.
• Moira (8/5): Nice rooms, not a bad location, - Room was nice, clean and comfortable, bathroom was spotless, Don’t get the breakfast it was awful, bacon swimming in water, eggs like rubber, croissants the cheapest of the cheap, we thought we could sit somewhere and watch the water but there is no where like that available on barge.

C'est la localisation de l'Hotel boat qui m'a permis de booker pour un weekend. Le personnel ne parlait absolument pas français alors que Booking.com affirme de trouver un personnel parlant notre langue.. Alors que la communication,et la compréhension pourrait être plus simple pour des clients français. Heureusement que la demande basique a été honorée par l'hôtel.

• Melanie (4/5): Price and performance do not match; overall disappointing. - central location and quick response to follow-up questions by email The price–performance ratio is disappointing. For nearly €140 per night, the room is very small, poorly maintained, and not clean. There was a musty smell, a hole in the ceiling panel, mold on the hairdryer cable, frayed towels, and worn-out furniture. No water, tea, or coffee was provided. The Wi-Fi was almost unusable due to a weak signal. Check-in is only from 3 p.m., but reception was unattended past 4 p.m., and check-out is required by 11 a.m. Parking is limited and unreliable. Compared to other hotels in Bruges at this price, this feels like budget accommodation charging premium rates. Overall, we are disappointed

• Bruns (8/5): Unique stay for our first trip to Brugge - We chose this hotel because we thought it would be a unique experience to stay on a barge. Everything clean and warm, although a little dated. The view across the canal was nice in the morning and breakfast was great. The location was nice on the south edge of the city, right next to the train with €7 daily parking, and across the street from the buses. We walked a lot and it was 20 min to be in the heart of downtown Brugge. Overall, it was interesting with very kind and friendly morning staff. I would recommend for an individual more than a couple, but it worked for us, and now we've stayed on a barge. The photos were a little misleading on the size of the rooms. We had to shuffle around each other most of the time and could not freely move about because the room was so small. Also, the shower water temperature fluctuated during the shower and we each had to avoid standing directly under the water because it would get so hot it could almost burn, but only sometimes. Maybe when someone flushed the toilet?

• Annetta (8/5): A bit overpriced but pleasant for a short stay. - Nice cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff. The room was smaller than expected. It was not soundproof. The parking was expensive and we had to pay extra for our tiny dog. Considering the size of the room, the extra charges for parking for our tiny dog, as frequent travelers we didn’t feel it was good value for money.

• Aina (8/5): - La ubicación estaba genial ya que a 10 minutos estaba la estación y a 15/20 minutos andando estaba el centro. La habitación está bien, es igual que en las fotos. Para ir a dormir en un hotel diferente está bastante bien. El check in mas tarde de las 15:00 es bastante incomodo porque no puedes entrar a la habitación pero al menos nos dejaron guardar las maletas allí tanto a la ida como después del check out. El desayuno no lo cogimos porque 20€ por persona me parece exagerado.

Manque d'une petite bouilloire dans la chambre pour pouvoir prendre un petit café ou thé. Les douches sont à moderniser. Prix du petit déjeuner très onéreux 20€ par personne.

Very good shower. Breakfast was 20 Euros each and was a good buffet spread No tea and coffee in the room. You could get it for an extra cost
• Eveline (7/5): Leuke ervaring! - Leuk om eens op een boot te slapen (hoewel je daar weinig van voelt). Leuk uitzicht vanuit de ontbijtzaal en prima ontbijt. De andere hotelgasten waren 's nachts luidruchtig, en de dunne muren hield het geluid niet tegen. De boot is al wat ouder, en dat zie je aan alles.

• PhilipS58 (9/5): Restful and quirky! - At the outset the location is not exactly picturesque, as it's next to a coach park and beyond that a main road, but once on board it's very quiet and our room overlooked passing barges, open land and inquisitive ducks. On arrival in the rooms, there are life jackets on the beds which, even if it's a legal requirement on a barge hotel, really made us smile! Room size was good, albeit a little cramped in the ensuite ... but you can't expect more on a converted barge! Reception is staffed till 1600, and they were only too willing to help with any issues and queries. We opted for twin beds, and they were very comfortable. Complimentary coffee/tea facilities in the room would have been appreciated - it was a payable extra, as were on-site parking and breakfast, both of which we felt were expensive at 15 and 20 euros per day respectively. It's a shame, as the dining room looked very pleasant and cosy.

• Marie (3/5): Séjour catastrophique - Nous avons apprécié l’originalité de ce logement, la chambre était propre et le lit confortable. La salle de bain était bien aménagé avec tout le nécessaire Le gros point noir de ce séjour est l’insonorisation qui nous a fait passer une nuit horrible, impossible de trouver le sommeil. La chambre se trouvait au rez de chaussée, le plancher du premier étage grinçait énormément et ce pendant toute la nuit sous les pas de nos voisins du dessus, peu respectueux. Le matin c’est du couloir que le bruit provenait, avec un gros jour sous la porte de la chambre et des voisins de chambre, une nouvelle fois, peu scrupuleux de crier, rire et claquer les valises dans le couloir dès 5h du matin et ce pendant toute la matinée. Également très déçus de l’emplacement et du parking de l’hôtel. En effet, celui ne dispose que de 3 places de parking, qui sont, évidemment toujours prises. La dame de l’accueil nous a maladroitement dirigé vers un parking payant à plus d’1km de l’hôtel. Cette dame d’ailleurs, plus ou moins sympathique, ne parle que très peu anglais et nous a offert un accueil des plus sommaire et à eu beaucoup de mal à répondre à nos quelques interrogations. Soyez aussi avisé que l’hôtel dispose d’un bar et d’un restaurant qui ont l’air fort sympathiques mais demeurent tristement fermés. En bref un séjour d’une nuit assez onéreux que nous avons dû écourter dû au manque de sommeil. Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel

• john (8/5): Good location - This is good value accomodation situated a 15 minute walk from the beautiful centre of Bruges.The walk itself is very pleasant.The rooms were clean and the shower was powerful and hot.Reception closed at 4pm and we arrived after this time but our room keys and hotel information was waiting for us on arrival so no issues here. The rooms are small but if you are only in them to sleep as we were then this was not an issue.Soundproofing was not great and if you have neighbours you will hear them. Unusual not to have any teamaking facilities All things considered the hotel.met our needs and expectations and we would use again.

• Yann (5/5): Décevant - Bruges est une ville agréable. L'isolation phonique est très mauvaise, les équipements sont vétustes. Pas de communication claire pour le parking.
• Sophie (7/5): - La vue sur le canal et la proximité du vieux Bruges. Proximité du parking de la gare. L'établissement aurait besoin d'un bon rafraîchissement. Les chambres ne sont pas bien isolés. On entend les voisins ! Le restaurant annoncé n'était pas ouvert. Nous avons trouvé le prix élevé par rapport à la prestation.

• Logie (8/5): We komen zeker terug - Het prachtig gezellig interieur. Dat je het echt niet voelt dat je op een boot logeert. Dat er menu kan gebracht worden naar boot zelf. Dat het heel dicht bevindt bij centrum en cactusclub. Dat het proper was en direct hulp gekregen bij binnenkomst. Dat je veel info krijgt. Prachtige foto's aan de muur. Een stukje achtergrond geschiedenis. Is voor herhaling vatbaar. De mensen die er rondlopen op het verblijf zelf waren ook zeer vriendelijk. Je hebt nog 2 zaken in de nabije omgeving Mayflower en de Brasserie De Flandria aan de yachtclub. Ook is er om de 20 min. busje naar centrum. Veel tv-mogelijkheden. Goede wifi. Beetje fitness om naar toilet te gaan, beperkte douche met glad oppervlak.
• Miche (6/5): - It's a cosy room. It's fun to sleep on a boat. The bathroom is very small. The hotel is outdated and old.

• Pierre (5/5): Hôtel bien localisé. - Situation bien placée par rapport à vieille ville, personnel à la réception très professionnel, suite à notre mécontentement du contexte de la chambre, après la première nuit. Cete personne a été très compréhensive en mettant à notre disposition une autre chambre plus confortable. Nous tenons à la remercier pour son professionnalisme. La chambre qui a été mis à notre disposition, présentait différentes malfonctions, radiateur bruyant, certainement à purger, SdB sans prise de courant, fuite tuyau douche, enfin moquette vetuste et deux lits minuscules ... Cette établissement est vieillissant et mériterait d'une remise à niveau.

• Joy (5/5): - The location was nice. It was a 5 minute walk from the station and only 15 minutes walk into the town centre. It was also lovely to be on the water and to hear the river sounds from our bedroom. The beds were comfortable too. The room and bathroom especially were quite run down / tatty. The furnishings were not great and needed tidying up. It felt like the floor had not been cleaned properly. The shower broke quite dramatically and we nearly had a flood. It's a shame there were no bar facilities as the communal areas of the hotel looked very nice but we didn't use them because 20 euros for breakfast is too expensive and it was closed the rest of the time.
