- Edgar (3/5): Nichts passt und keinen kümmert es. - Strandnah, 5 Minuten zu Fuß Das Zimmer hat nach Schimmel gerochen, den man an der Decke und bei der Klingelanlage gesehen hat. Der Sitz der Toilette hat überhaupt nicht gepasst. Wasser ist den ganzen Tag in der Dusche gestanden weil das Gefälle nicht stimmt. Der Wasserhahn war nicht richtig befestigt und hat gewackelt. Das Wasser der Dusche hat komisch gerochen, vielleicht war es aus einem Brunnen gefördert.

- Danielle (6/5): In good location - Staff very friendly, the balcony was nice to relax on. Good location. It was quite a cheap hotel if they just changed a couple of things in the rooms. Pillows and towels it would have been slight better. One of the pillows we had on the bed had slight mould on the actual pillow case. Towels where cheap ones didn't really dry you. And the room had a slight damp smell.

The bed was comfy, we had water given to us every day, there was a refrigerator in the room also to keep drinks cold. Would definitely return Road was a little bumpy with the moped but with care it was fine.

- Hans (1/5): - nichts Ich habe einen SUPERIOR ROOM gemietet. Das war ein Zelt auf einem Motorradparkplatz. Da insgesamt 148 Fotos veröffentlicht wurden, auf dem auf einem davon ein Zelt zu sehen ist, sagte Booking.com, dass ich dieses gebucht hätte. In der Booking.com App stand weiterhin ROOM, und zwar SUPERIOR ROOM MIT KINGSIZE-BETT UND VERANDA (also der Motorradplatz). Das Zelt war von vorne durchsichtig, so dass jeder ankommende Zweiradfahrer direkt in das Zelt sehen kann. Ich bin noch nie so reingefallen.

- Josh (9/5): Amazing stay for the price - Location was perfect, bungalow was very clean and everything worked perfectly. There were pet rabbits and friendly dogs, that came with us to the beach and had a swim.

- Sara (6/5): Good location for lovely beach. Manager made sure I got to my ferry in time which was appreciated - Location was excellent and close to a beautiful beach. It had its own restaurant on site and mini mart close by and was available when needed. There were a range of restaurants also close and Thai food served at a sweet under used restaurant run by mother and daughter situated by the gym. The towels were like back packing towels and the garden view was disapointing as it wasn't like the photo and wasn't a garden in the traditional sense but was a sustainable one i guess. Staff were difficult to find before 7am.

Also very near Maenam Beach and the immigration office (this is nice if you need to extend your visa). The area is pretty slow, there is not much around. Water would occasionally run brown and have a weird odor.

- Craigwales93 (9/5): Mostly great! - I liked the quietness of the room, the feeling of security. The manager was exceptionally nice and hospitable The water ran brown for quite a long time. Even after this, it made it unappealing to wash due to the use of a medical device. Highlighted this to the manager. I know this is common in some places but the first time during my 2 year stay travels in Thailand and neighbouring countries. A simple problem easily rectified. Make sure the water is running clear to save the guest having to wait at least 10 minutes for it to be clear, although not sure of the water cleanliness

The clth covered furniture was badly stained, the bedding had torn sheets and pillowcases, the cloth covering the refrigerator had something on it and was in need of washing, the bathroom was really in need of s thorough scrub. No complementary water or coffee, but it along with other junk foods are present in the room for purchase. The hotel is surrounded be excellent restaurants and is just a short walk to the beach, and the Maenam morning or afternoon markets. I liked the area enough I moved to another hotel and extended my stay in the area.
- Tyler Jane (10/5): - SO UNIQUE!! What a delightful surprise to discover after check-in, that Everest is actually a serious organic vegetable farm. And, as a guest you're gifted access to every kind of lettuce, celery, rocket/arugula, and more. The love and care the proprietors put into the cultivation, is so special. Everest is also a short walk to a quiet but very long beach, and there are a couple of restaurants, chill bars, and grcoeries all in walking distance. The rooms are not immaculate, but the other elements make up for it.

If you have any problem with the room just ask politely and the very friendly staff will help you out. We had an aircon issue and had our room changed. Great value for money. 3 minute walk to a beautiful beach and quite a few restaurants close by. I will be back!

Very rude and negligent staff, first we got the wrong room, but no apologies only a bored look and a new room, the whole building was tilted and ready to collapse, very dirty rooms, no cutlery or plates and cups in the kitchen, nothing to wash the dishes with, room cleaning only once during our one week stay, no clean towels or bed linen at all, have to ask for more toilet paper, ants and other insects inside, mold and bad smell, couple times sewage water started to come from the pipes to the floor in the bathroom when the neighbour flushed their toilet…

Small porch looks at garden Room was actually tilting over at a crazy angle, due to subsiding land under foundations, probably uncomplaining with housing regulations . but was told this was the only one left even though I booked a month in advance. Manager turned up at 7am in the morning with next guests demanding I leave because they booked the room for early arrival. I told them to go away and checked out later at a more sensible hour. Floor angle is actually a bit dangerous in shower when wet. Recommended manager provide a rubber mat if guests are to stay there, so they don’t slip over.

I don’t recommend this place to anyone, especially women traveling alone. as a bonus I got not polite and inappropriate attention from the owner… it was terrible,I felt very uncomfortable and not safe.my holiday on Samui was poised. better choose other place, there are a lot of them same price much better

The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. There’s not much to do in the area, apart from going to the beach, which is fine since there are miles upon miles of gorgeous beaches to enjoy. If you’re looking for an awesome beach getaway, I highly recommend this gem of a hotel.

- filip (2/5): - No rooms available although we had a booking. No help from the staff. Hope i get my money back
- Brandy (6/5): Room for improvement. - This property seems to be undergoing an upgrade. The lobby/restaurant areas were under construction. The room was spacious, the AC worked, but there was a bad smell that seemed to be coming from the plumbing in the bathroom, which was attempting to be masked by 4 or so orange scented air fresheners. When I arrived, my room was not ready. I waited over an hour before there was an explanation, or a prediction of when the problem would be resolved. Frankly, I'd have been happy dropping my gear in the lobby and waiting on the beach, which is a short walk away, or even in the bar next door, rather than sweltering, mystified, in the lobby. While I was there the power went out unexpectedly, possibly due to the construction. I was checking out, so I don't know how long it was out.
- Olesya (10/5): Great place close to the sea - Nice location - close to the sea. At Maenam Resort there is a good cafe on the beach. The Indian restaurant to the left from the hotel is also good. There were so many insects and animals - ants, who ate even the toothpaste (so do not leave any food on the table), frogs which managed to get in during the nights, bugs..But this is Samui))) The staff is quite relaxed, so if you need cleaning in the room - just ask at the reception, they will do. The room was not 57 m2, as indicated on booking, rather around 30 m2.

- Dean (8/5): Cosy and Cool... but not much else to it - The staff were incredibly polite, the room was clean and beds were comfortable. Great for a short stay and only a 10 minute drive/ride to Fisherman’s village and 15 minutes from Chaweng. Also very close to the beach. 3.5 stars
- Peter (8/5): Gut gelegen aber ruhig - Ein ruhiges Resort, nahe am strand und gute einkaufmöglichkeiten in der nähe. Leider ging das kabelfernsehen nicht, lag aber nicht am resort.
- Gabriel (6/5): Work in progress. - It's in a good location, walking distance to beach and several bars and restaurants. The property needs maintenance it seemed like a work in progress. AC didn't work had to be moved the another room fortunately that was a newer AC. Water pressure was insufficient, that had to be repaired. TV did not work as no decoder in the room. Occasionally the water supply in toilet was brown in colour And it would correct itself, not sure why or how. The cleaning staff were great but did not seem to have the time to do the rooms daily , only upon request did they oblige.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful Stay - I was pleasantly surprised by my stay here. The little cottage I had was very nice and comfortable. The bathroom was great. There were 6 windows, and it was nice to open for some of the cooler breezy mornings. The ac worked great. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed my table and chairs on the porch for working at sometimes. Having a tea kettle is always a plus. The majority of the other guests were from Russia, and I made a couple of friends, while learning my first few Russian words. It was always quiet, with the exception of the occasional child's cry or laughter. In the mornings & evenings, as I laid in bed, I could hear the crashing of the waves, along with insects, birds and monkeys (?) It was a short walk to the beach, and China town. You could find foods from EVERYWHERE! I ate at a French bakery a few blocks away, and a fantastic Indian restaurant, just a couple of doors down. I try to eat mostly local foods, and there were plenty of those too. The island wasn't as expensive as I'd expected, and I enjoyed it a lot. I've spent nearly 3 months in Thailand in just over a year, and I would definitely return here!!
- Bitu (10/5): Great low cost hotel - Really good stay. The owner is very pleasant as are all the staff. The room is super clean. I had a king room the bed was amazing and the pillows super soft. Great bathroom, large fridge, freezer and wifi everywhere.f Highly recommend place to stay for the price. Just a short walk to the beach and close to Hippos Gym
