Grave problemas de ruídos e barulho vindo do apartamento de cima qu - Localização excelente, limpeza excelente, equipe atenciosa e prestativa Fiquei no quarto 1, e à noite descobri um problema muito grave de barulho vindo do andar de cima. Cada vez que alguém anda no piso acima do quarto, faz um barulho muito alto - a noite que estava lá foi um sábado, fui acordada às 3:30 da manhã e só pude voltar a dormir quando o vizinho acima foi dormir, 6 horas da manhã.

• Robert (8/5): Old world in the perfect location in Rome - The apartment in a fantastic location. Close to the many wonderful sites in Rome but also in a vibrant super cute and cool old neighborhood that we loved with many restaurants narrow lanes churches and charm. The location can't be beat. The staff there are very kind and friendly particularly Laura who was very good to us. Much appreciated. She is a real joy. The room was clean and neat and totally met our needs. It has coves ceilings and is has some old world charm. There is an attractive lobby to enjoy coffee and pastries in the morning. One power outlet didn't work by the bed.

Koffie en gebak iedere dag voor de gasten. Iedere dag werd je bed opgemaakt. Schone handdoeken Het was toch wat gehorig zo langs een redelijk drukke weg. De douche mocht wat meer waterdruk geven.

The location wasn’t ideal for many of rooms, main attractions, but was great if you want to spend time in Trastevere.

It was just far enough from the loud nightlife but within minutes of all the restaurants and attractions. Being on the main road wasn’t an issue at all since the windows are soundproof. • Matthew (10/5): Trastevere gem! - Laura was amazing and made us feel so welcome. Lots of recommendations which was much appreciated for first timers in Rome! We will be back. Only slight issue is there isn't a communal bathroom meaning it's hard to freshen up if leaving the property for a later flight, after check out time. Not an issue affecting our stay but more a limitation of the building. This shouldn't put you off booking!

• Jeanette (10/5): Our stay at Palazzo Baj was a perfect first stop in Italy (we stayed in Rome 5 nights) and will look back fondly on this - We loved everything about our stay here. Upon arrival, Laura welcomed us as we arrived and showed us around. The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. When we asked a question we received prompt assistance. There were baked goods left each night that we ended up looking forward to as we came back to our room at the end of the day. The location was perfect and I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. If we had to choose one thing, we did notice that sometimes the lights from the police cars would show in the window. But it wasn’t enough to bother me since it didn’t affect my sleep and wasn’t constant.

Busy street in front but the rooms are sound proof enough from traffic. It is a 4 bedroom guest house not a hotel but there is super helpful staff at the front desk during the day for all the help you could need and more including plenty of advice on sites and food. They provided an early check in for me as it was available and watched my bags for me after checkout.

In the middle of the night our room was fill with the overpowering smell of Ammonia. Not sure what happened but it made my wife and I nauseous . The room was not occupiable. We Brought this to Laura’s attention immediately when she arrived in the morning. She didn’t appear to take this seriously until her maintenance man brought it to her attention.. We feel the situation was handled poorly as any hotel/ motel, etc would have moved us or comped us 1 night…

• Jacki (8/5): Fantastic guests house, the room was perfect and in a great location, but light sleepers beware. - The guest house was lovely and had everything I needed. It was easy walking distance to attractions and the fantastic restaurants of Trastevere. Laura the host was gorgeous and very helpful. I was unaware it was on a busy street and the room was on ground level. There was slight evening noise which was fairly well contained by the double glazed windows, however the room was very light with headlights shining on the roof during the night. It needs shutters or a black out blind installed for a better sleep experience. It is also noisy when loud guests come in (both nights 1-2.30am) and bang door and talk loudly in the way to their rooms.

Also not too far away from the Vatican. Communal area for guests to sit and snacks, drinks and fruit available for guests. Busy street outside and curtains didn’t block out the headlights of passing traffic. Heavier curtains or blinds would reduce the glare from passing traffic headlights at night

The snacks provided in the lounge area were delicious. The bed was a little too firm, but that may be because we’re used to a memory foam mattress.

Our room was smallish But perfectly fine for one night. The price was higher than we should have spent for a small room but Rome is pricier than I think. The location is ideal.

There are only four rooms in this establishment, contained in an area of a centuries old building. The owner was there to greet us and give us a tour of the facility. She also provided advice for visiting the surrounding area. The room itself was clean and updated. You are within walking distance to all tourist attractions. Highly recommend recommended.

• Alison (10/5): Beautiful comfortable room in a delightful neighborhood. Personalized service and attention. - Had the pleasure of 2 nights at Palazzo Baj. Laura was immensely helpful and kind with check in. Extremely personal and thorough. Room was Beautiful with lovely design and comfort. The common room had many goodies of high quality, books magazines, and delicious expresso. Off the beaten track of a somewhat popular neighborhood.

• Chongjun (10/5): A great hotel in a great neighbourhood - Overall a great experience staying at this little gem in Trastevere, which is a bustling local community offering a rich selection of restaurants and markets. The room is well equipped, cozy and clean. I particularly enjoyed the lounge area where the host Laura has arranged cakes, fruits, and coffee to be enjoyed by guests for free. Bus and tram stops are nearby, and the isola on Tiber is a must-visit in its own right. Nothing. But would suggest complimentary water bottles be provided daily.

• Robert (10/5): Great local location - We loved the different cake offerings each morning. We appreciated the local restaurant recommeded listing. Location of the nearest taxi stand was a short 2 minute walk. The fact that bus number 23 from Vatican City stopped right outside our accommodation, extremely handy when traveling back from the Vatican Museums. Also easy walk to the Colloseum from this location. Nothing. Everything was fine

• Scott (10/5): Palazzo Baj - It was a very convenient location for us, walking to the Circo Massimo and Colosseum. Room was easy to find with Laura's excellent communication and instructions. Comfortable room, small snake area had coffee's, teas and snacks available.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - This place was super cute and I would definitely stay here again! Its located in right over the river which we ended up loving. Its a bit further away from the tourist-y stuff in the best way possible. Still walkable to the Colosseum and the Vatican (30-40 minutes) but tucked away enough that we felt like we were getting a more authentic experience. The host was super nice and helpful with recommendations and assistance in getting rides.
• Michael (10/5): - We arrived early in the AM (3am). Instructions to enter were very easy and safe. Clean room and staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Great location for restaurants!
• Rachel (8/5): - Host was very kind and a good baker! Room was clean and cozy, and had a great shower. The only hardship was not having much of an area to pull over to check-in, and maybe a map of where the parking garage was. Otherwise place was great
• Rod (10/5): - This was our first trip to Rome and we made a great choice to stay in Trastevere (thanks to advice from recent travellers). Laura made us feel welcome from day one, helping us to find our way around Rome, offering great recommendations for restaurants and general assistance. The location is superb, easy walk into to central Rome, whilst having access to a plethora of restaurants, cafes & bars in and around Trastevere. Our room was what we expected, decent size for Rome and price range.
