Guest Reviews
- jemma (1/5): Didn’t let me in properly and kept my money! They do answer the phone or emails - Not being able to get in contact with the property even though I booked in March and then not allowing my entry even though I paid for 2 nights. Don’t waste your time and money Not be able to get in to the property on arrival and having to find alternative accommodation and parking an hour before my event. They do not answer the phone ever! They do not reply to emails and then they keep your money! Save your time energy and money do not book with this property

- Simon (7/5): A good place to stay for 2-4 people for a city break in Birmingham - There's a lot to like about the apartment - good location, secure, warm, reasonably spacious, car-parking. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, plenty of hot water in the shower. Fabulous balcony space and BBQ kit. Convenience stores and bars minutes away. The living room faces east and gets wonderful light in the morning. Comms were poor, TBH - despite an earlier request, we only found out that we had to collect the keys from a nearby shop on the afternoon we were travelling to Birmingham. But that all worked out, in fairness. The apartment could do with a deep clean - it wasn't dirty as such but some things need to be sorted. Too many light bulbs were blown with no replacements available. And for the cost of the place, it would be expected to have soap, shampoo, dishwasher tabs, none of which were available. Relatively minor things, yes, but the place could be so much better with a little more care
- Hani (10/5): - very clean and near to the city centre and nice view from the balcony
- PETER (6/5): - Location Finding the key. Someone should be there to greet us not walk 10 minutes to Costcutter for the key.
- M Omar (10/5): -
- CORINNA (8/5): - Ideal location, It was clean but could have been better. Not responsive to messages
- Nyari (10/5): - Felt really homely.
- Claire (9/5): Brill defo stay again - Location and very clean and spacious Was a bit cold
- Maria (8/5): - Good size apartment, nice and cosy, love view and big balcony. Good location. So after arriving to address you will find out you need to walk 10 minutes from the location to pick up the keys from the shop .
- Toni (10/5): -
- chris (7/5): Fine for a short stay - Location good Everything was adequate, no complaints
- Julie (7/5): Convenient for utilitarian stadium and restaurants not far from station. Beds were very comfortable. Very noisey at migh - Location although noise on a busy Friday night in December. Key collection in a different place to the property and having to walk further once we’d reached the property to collect keys. Although process was ok.
- lisa (10/5): 2nd visit will visit again - Location was great. Was clean The lift was broken and we had big suitcases to carry up flights of stairs but this was not a reflection on the company/ people.
This is just one of those things
- JULIE (6/5): Good location in city centre - Flat is in a central location just of Broad street. Wi-Fi is intermittent and the flat is showing signs of wear and tear. The bedding and towels were all clean but the flat is in need of a good clean. It says on the booking that someone would me us there. This is incorrect. It’s a short walk or drive but given Birminghams one way street system it’s not the easiest. You also have to return the keys back to where you collect them. Again being unfamiliar with the one way traffic system we ended up driving in circles. For this reason we would not book Class Place again.
- Wendy (9/5): - Location value for money Had to walk a far way to pick up and drop off keys
- Kate (5/5): Convenient location. - Location Very tired decor and furniture
- Celia (9/5): Lovely place and would stay again - Great location
Safe
Very clean How we had to collect the key - you have to go to a Coat cutter quite a walk away.
- Ane (10/5): - La localización y la comodidad La recogida de llaves que está a 7 minutos pero no es muy molesto
- Andrew (6/5): Great place but under delivered on facilities - Nice size flat with balcony and impressive views of the city, close to amenities and attractions we wanted to visit. Uncomfortable bed and sofa, lift broke down on second day (not good for 4th floor flat - reported to owner who informed management company, but not fixed while we were there), not enough complimentary supplies (tea, coffee, milk, toiletries). Very poor internet connection.
- farzana (1/5): NOT RECOMMENDED - location it was in a nice location local shops around easy to get around it's not how it presented in the picture. Sofas are completely worn out and have a lot of blonde hair . tv stand was broken. the garden had the bbq, which I was looking forward to, but it was all rusty and had grass or something growing inside it . the carpet is dirty, and the rug is not clean. It has crumbs and is all black around the edges from dirtiness. single beds are pokey and very uncomfortable. double bed is just about bearable but creaks it's on the 4th floor they failed to tell us the lift hasn't been working for a few days one of the neighbours told us they new we was coming with a baby so we had to carry our bags and baby and pram all the way to the 4th floor when your going for a break that's last thing on your mind is to be going up and down that many floors and being restricted of going out only to be told it may take 48hrs to fix further more they told be they would refund me 60% and if the is anything else they could help me and my baby with during our stay which i assumed so did booking.com customer service "here's your 60% refund for you inconvenience. please enjoy the rest of the stay" they then message in the morning after a hard nights sleep "are you checking out" if not we will charge you full amound please checkout by 11.09 I woke up at 10.53 how was it mean to get my things together and a baby i had to force them to give extra time
- Karen (10/5): Comfortable stay in centre of Birmingham - Had a great stay in the heart of Birmingham. Key collection was easy - from a local shop and car parking was secure on site. The apartment was modern and clean and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of places to visit and restaurants all in walking distance.
- robert (8/5): -
- david (1/5): - We never got in , they failed to give us access
- Martin (7/5): - Terrasse sehr schön. Grundsätzlich gute Lage der Wohnung, aber lärmig. Nachts immer sehr lärmig wegen angetrunkenen Personen auf der Strasse und Autoposern
- Janet (9/5): - The apartment is very well located for the ICC and the canal walks. Its clean and comfortable rooms were a welcome to come home too. Being close to the city centre, it was a bit noisy late into the night. But the folk outside were enjoying themselves.
- Robert (5/5): Just adequate but no more - Secure car parking was great . Location was ideal .
Request fir for an early check-in was granted The apartment needs a deep clean from top to bottom .
Old used towels were left in a sack in the airing cupboard.
The furniture was cheap . Lacked any quality .
Bed mattress was poor quality . Pillows virtually flat !
- Dale (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samuel (8/5): Very good -
- Andy (7/5): All good - Great location
- Naomi (10/5): Exceptional - Very close to everything and clean
- Clare (10/5): Great city break - Ideal location to visit the city, close also for restaurants within walking distance
Good communication with host Nothing
- Deana (9/5): .. - Brilliant location, very clear instructions. Not knowing prior booking that we would have to retrieve keys & return to a location not within the building and more than 1km away.
- Merve (10/5): Exceptional - Very central and close to the arena. Modern space.
- Stephen (5/5): Great break but upset at paying for parking in booking then getting fined after! - Properties location is ideal for a visit to all of Birminghams city centre attractions. The bed was comfortable and the rest of the facilities were very good for our stay. The keys had to be collected from a supermarket away from the location that we had to drive to No mention on collecting the keys was made of a car park pass and the email sent by the host on the day of arrival was corrupted and unreadable. I contacted host who texted instructions but again made no mention of a parking permit. 1o days after our stay I received a parking fine of £60 for parking in the allocated spot but without a permit. This I appealed and it was reduced to £20 even though the property is advertised as having free parking!!
- Shirley (2/5): Would not stay at this property again. Very surprised it was on Booking .com. - The Apartment was close to the area we wanted. we were told on the date of arrival we had to collect the keys from a supermarket, which was a 15 min walk away. If I had known this before I booked I would not of booked the Apartment. I have walking issues and found this not acceptable. The Apartment is in need of a good clean, very dirty on woodwork, cobwebs behind doors. Dirty outside terrace area.
- Diane (7/5): Great locations - Location brilliant for ICC, central Birmingham, christmas market etc. Didn't use the balcony (in November) but nice to have one. Not that I used them either, but the kitchen was equipped with washing machine, dishwasher and oven. Good value for location and great to have free car parking included. Apartment looked a little ‘tired’ in terms of decor and the shower/bath area. Slightly ‘musty’ smell in the apartment with staining on ceilings in some rooms indicative of historic leaks.
- Deborah (8/5): Very good - Location Difficult to get keys
- Rebecca (8/5): Lovely place for short breaks. - We had to pick keys up from a near-by (8 min walk) shop which wasn't too big of a deal but may be an issue if you have mobility concerns.
The balcony was much bigger than we imagined and the beds were great.
A few people have commented about noise from near-by but I'm not sure that that's fair due to the property being just off Broad St, one of Birmingham's busiest streets at night. If you're after a quiet stay, this isn't for you. The kitchen wasn't entirely clean but this wasn't too big of a deal because we didn't really use anything anyway. The lights in the main building lift were also out but I doubt this is the host's issue. It was also a bit of a shame that the bathroom didn't have an extractor fan.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Nice modern apartment in the centre of Birmingham. Close to the symphony hall for our night out. Parking space on site which is fantastic. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Some noise at night from the road below, but you have to remember you are in the city centre.
- Mary (8/5): Very good -
- Jessica (8/5): Perfect apartment for a group or family to spend a few days in Birmingham - The property was perfectly situated for exploring Birmingham and was in a walking distance to the centre of town and also easily accessible by public transport! The apartment was quite warm but there was a fan provided for one bedroom:)
- Hien (6/5): Pleasant - It's value for money in terms of location since walkable to many restaurants. Washer and fridge (esp freezer) are not well maintained - not usable actually. Key collection was also quite a distance away, pretty inconvenient. Also inconvenient was having to provide car details by 5pm inorder to park within compound else has to compete with others along the free side road parking.
- Gareth (8/5): Very good - Clean, good location, nice balcony, comfortable Annoying walk to shop to get key for check in
- Nurul (5/5): Passable - Location was great. Facilities were great. The host was very helpful. The blinds were poor, the carpet needs changing. One of the sofa beds didn't.
- Funmilola (8/5): Very good -
- Abhishek (9/5): Perfect stay - Great location and everything was very comfortable May be key collection process. It was 5mins drive from the apartment.
- Adepoju (5/5): My stay was great and good location as well. The host in to improve in providing enough Toiletries in the apartment. - Location The Tv remote is bad but the management couldn’t do anything about it all through my stay. So I have no access to Tv all through my stay and I have kids with me in there.
- Gene (10/5): Thoroughly recommended, great apartment. - The apartment was clean, well appointed, comfortable and in a fantastic location with the address bonus of outside space on its roomy balcony.
Only a few minutes walk from a tram stop and very close to the canal district with all of its bars and restaurants.
The keys need to be collected from and dropped back off to a shop 5 minutes walk away, so that was no hassle.
The owner was very responsive and incredibly helpful with all of my queries and requests.
We couldn't have asked for better.
- Maqsood (9/5): We enjoyed the stay generally - There was no breakfast but the location was excellent. We enjoyed our stay No Exhaust fan in the bathroom
- Lisa (10/5): Girls weekend away - Great location for the ICC. Clean, comfortable all the facilities you would need. Perfect for our weekend away with the girls. Allocated carparking space. When contacting the owner they were quick to respond.
- Diane (5/5): Disappointing in quite a lot of ways! - The location was good. The place could do with some TLC. There were no dishcloths to wipe up surfaces, no oven gloves either. The tap came off in my hand in the kitchen (a loose screw) and the toilet roll holder dismantled (a loose screw). The duvet in the double bedroom was very thin and the bedding was very poor quality. The bed was very uncomfortable and I was in quite a lot of pain at the end of the night. The communication for picking up the keys was really poor -- we didn't hear about how to get into the property until after we were due to leave home on the day, despite me asking several times. Why not tell us a few days before? And the place the keys were picked up from was quite a walk from the property - if we had been on foot with luggage it would have been a problem, Table mats were not clean and there were only 4 dining room chairs despite it saying the flat slept 6. I'm very glad that no one had to sleep on the sofa beds!
- Rehan (8/5): Very good - Apartment was nice and comfortable. We received parking charge notice for parking in our already designated area.
- Rachel (7/5): Ideal location for stay in the city near Symphony Hall and Bars / Restaurants. - The location for the show we attended at the Symphony hall was excellent and the secure parking was bonus in a city centre. The apartment was spacious and beds very comfortable. There was also a good variety of facilities available. The apartment needs quite a bit of maintenance for example chain on the front door not there, kitchen tap was broken, stains on ceilings from obvious previous leaks, balcony needs tidied up and kitchen appliance’s need a thorough clean as we had to clean the microwave and fridge before we could use them. The oven was left covered in grease from previous use so we didn’t use it. The ironing board cover also had a lot of burnt holes in it, needs replacing.
- Ellen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jacqui (8/5): Great stay, would definitely return - Great central location
Good facilities- everything you could need
Contact with host was very good- really helpful Only downside was street noise during the night, but it is a central location so need to expect it
- Ian (7/5): Good -
- Owain (9/5): Lovely stay, would certainly book again. - Location was perfect for us - very close to where we needed to be in the city centred. Facilities were also great for a family who had a lot planned, but needed somewhere comfortable as a base. Very good for a weekend stay, or longer. There was quite a bit of noise from the streets outside overnight, but that was not a huge surprise as we were close to the city's nightlife.
- Mick (9/5): Great location for a weekend with free secure parking - Clean tidy great location Not applicable
- Katheryn (9/5): Really great location, comfortable home from home accommodation. - Might need a bit of extra info about how to find the door into Block C. It was a bit hidden in the car park so we went back out to the road through the car park doors and found it that way.
- Kellie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Susan (8/5): Enjoyed it overall thank you. Suresh was brilliant and always answered queries quickly - Central location with on site parking. Very quiet. Spacious Could do with a refresh of paint. Looked tired in parts in daylight. Having to collect and return keys to a shop 15 minutes walk away. TV didn’t work
- Michrlle (8/5): Good apartment, but key location not convenient - The apartment is nice, but you have to go to a shop to collect the keys which is a 15 minute walk round trip with your luggage to get them and then return them at the end of the stay. I am sure a more local solution could be found.
Apartment was fairly clean, but some big cobwebs e.g. near the plant in the lounge.
They could do with looking at how much crockery and glass wear they have as it is certainly not 6 of everything, glasses particularly.
We had to go find the bedding for the sofa beds and make them up, even though they knew we needed them, it would have been better had they have made up the duvet and covers and left them on one of the beds with sheets, pillows, towels etc.
The apartment itself is nice and conveniently located and suited our needs.
- Pauline (9/5): Lovely accommodation, perfect location & suitable for children. Friendly and responsive host. - Perfect location, spacious, very clean & good facilities. Supermarket, restaurants & bars on your door step. Large terrace with views of the city. The host was very helpful and allowed us to check into the accommodation early which we were delighted with. We had a lovely weekend here. Key collection and drop off is at seperate location which is a 10 min walk away. This was fine but worth noting in advance when travelling with luggage and children etc.
- Davide (8/5): Very good - Great location near the tram and Brindleyplace with easy access to the mailbox, sealife and legoland.
The property has a nice balcony area and a very roomy lounge. Could benefit of having more children stuff like a high chair, cups, cutlery and plastic plates.
- Isabel (4/5): Disappointing - Location, balcony, light Cleanness,
- Kelly (6/5): Very central and big, but flat is bit tired; needs to be cleaner with more home comforts. - The apartment has a lovely big lounge, easily seating the four of us; two beds and one bathroom.
It is central but there are two rowdy pubs on the corner so it isn't the quietest of stays.
The secure parking is a bonus.
Good wifi and a TV that has Netflix etc.
It really easy to walk into the city centre, Gas St Basin, Brindley Place etc, and there is a tram stop two mins away. Really easy to get to all venues, station etc.
No noise from other neighbours (as some reviewers had mentioned). Generally, the apartment could have been cleaner (all crockery and glasses dirty, sticky floors, filthy windows) and it felt a bit tired and unloved.
The bedding was ok, but the linens in the main double should be upgraded- thin quilt and v lumpy pillows.
The lift was broken for the first day and - at four flights up - it was a pain to carry all luggage.
Bit of a pain to collect keys a 10 min drive away. If I had come by train, I wouldn't have wanted to lug my bags around just to get keys.
The flat owners clearly can't do anything about the noise from the street, but as you are two mins from the corner of Broad St with a big Weatherspoons and O'Neill's you can hear the people leave well into the early hours. This is not the place for you if you want a quiet weekend away.
- Goutham (8/5): centrally located, good amenities, value for money. - Facilities, location, large apartment. Only thing I found inconvenient is that the key collection point is different. If they had informed me earlier, I would have gone there directly before reaching apartment. It’s (10+10 min walk to collection point)
- Kimberley (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (8/5): Very good - The location was great for us being near to the arena and was great to have on site secure parking was clean and comfortable too Wasn't really any negatives
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tommy (9/5): Superb -
- Linda (7/5): Great 2 bed apartment - Comfortable, well equipped in good location for ICC and arena.
Responsive staff
Convenience stores and restaurants very close by.
Parking for 1 car available The collection point for keys is approx 10 mins walk away, which icpuld be a challenge if you have luggage and kids and are on foot so bear this In mind We had a car, (3 min drive) so it was not a problem for us, and the process was quick and easy.
Need some instructions on operating the heating. We struggled, and it was only as we left that we located the thermostat, which was at ankle rather than eye level..
Absolutely great place orherwise
- Kirsty (10/5): Great location and facilities. Would go back again! - Great location, excellent facilities, secure parking and a lovely warm toasty apartment with a nice roof terrace. The parking is secure and was easy to find the apartnent once we navigated which lift and block we were in. Loved the location, would recommend and come back again!
- Amanda (8/5): Excellent city centre apartment with parking, remember to pack your ear plugs!! - Great location with secure parking essential for us. Easy collection of keys from local store (and returned when we left). 4th floor flat with a big balcony which would be great in the Summer but perhaps not November. Clean and tidy, towels, easily enough cutlery, crockery etc and dishwasher tabs (although machine needed rinse aid). 2 loo rolls a little tight! Great location right in the centre, Broad Street literally at the end of the road. Take ear plugs, Birmingham central is very noisy at night even with the windows closed. A few more coat hangers would have been useful (3 ladies who don't travel light), kitchen towel and an additional loo roll would have been useful, towels but no tea towels but everything went in the dishwasher (tabs provided). Recommend ear plugs, Birmingham at night is very noisy, not quite sure what was going on, just car horns and boy racers most of the night.
- Clues (4/5): Over-promised, under-delivered - The location was very good. Ideal for getting the metro into Central Birmingham. Size of the apartment was good - plenty of room for the 2 of us and whilst we didn't use it there was a rooftop patio area, giving even more space. Shower was good, and plenty of height for me (6ft 2in). The beds weren't very comfortable.
Apartment wasn't overly clean - quite dusty and lots of stuff on the floor (including clumps of hair) showing it hadn't been hoovered for a while.
No tea towels in the kitchen, so had to use a hand towel from the bathroom to dry items up.
No oven gloves, so once again had to use the hand towel from the bathroom to take food out of oven.
Netflix was installed on TV, but no log-in details provided so couldn't watch TV (no other channels available). Contacted property asking for details but received no reply.
Washing up cloth was filthy, covered in clumps of hair.
Saucepans hadn't been cleaned properly.
Vertical blinds in lounge area were quite dirty and not nice to look at.
- Emily (7/5): we had a good weekend and property was clean and comfortable - property was clean and comfortable very noisy overnight, lift didn’t work at all while we were there and no hot water but that was resolved.
key collection could really do with being closer to the property
- Ward (10/5): Exceptional -
- Boyce (10/5): Exceptional - The location was excellent There was nothing not to like ,
- Jecko (10/5): 👌👌👌👌 - Central .
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matt (6/5): Pleasant -
- Rajiv (8/5): host is helpful and location is exceptional and overall comfortable accomodation - location
- Dean (8/5): Very good -
- John (9/5): great location.. spacious.. clean.. as good as anyone needs -
- Lorraine (7/5): Overall a lovely, spacious property, very clean and in a great location - Location was great. Close to Broad Street and Brindley Place There was a smell of dog mess when we were on the balcony. It was definitely NOT coming from the property and there was no mess on the balcony, we kept getting a waft but just couldn't work out where it was coming from. Also, shame about the block of flats to the right of the balcony - we had to put up with a man who stood naked in his window for most of the night {we all had a good sense of humor so it didn't bother us, however other people might not find it quite so amusing}
- Janice (1/5): was not happy will not go again to stay - location was fine resturant
- Kiran (10/5): Exceptional - Location N/A
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional - Great place to stay wi-Fi good beds comfy everything we needed host easily contactable and was very helpful in alternative place to drop keys would stay there again recommended
- Georgia (8/5): The apartment was lovley and decorated nice. Was on the small side but worked for us as we didn’t spend much time their. - Was a very good location. Pretty much on broad street and very close to Brindley place Some areas hadn’t been cleaned properly. Some cobwebs and dust on mirrors. Outside area is very basic and wasn’t very inviting.
- David (7/5): Good -
- Ann (9/5): There for our daughters graduation so apartment was ideal. - Space and very bright with lots of natural light Nothing really, outside terrace could be better maintained though. Swinging bench was on the floor but was easy to re hook.
- Deborah (7/5): Good -
- Caren (8/5): great location, easy to find, clean and comfortable - great location
nice to have a balcony
nice and airy we were missing sheets for the sofa bed and the cloth for cleaning looked a bit old
- Justin (7/5): Good -
- David (9/5): Great place - Superb location with all you’ll need. - Location was brilliant. Just off Broad Street and 2 mins from the tram to town. The secure gated parking was great. We thought we were to be met at the property as per the communication from booking.come but when we arrived there was no one answering the door. Called the provided phone number and spoke to Suresh who had everything sorted for us in a matter of minutes. Nothing not to like about this apartment, it has everything you’ll need. The lift was out of action for a couple of the days we were there but obviously out of anyone’s control. These things happen. The cleaner at the apartment block reported it and it was fixed quickly. Only thing to confuse us was that when we received the check in and check out instructions it stated the keys were to be left in the postbox upon departure, which I did. We left early on our last day but by the time we’d got to the airport I’d received another email to say they needed to be left at pick up location. Maybe something to addressed in future to avoid confusion.
- Lynn (8/5): Very good - The property was in a fantastic location and the roof terrace was great. The collection of keys was changed on the day and we had to go and collect the keys from a shop and was not met at the property as previously advised, this wasn't a problem but think we should have been informed of this earlier as this was sent via a text on the day about 3 hours before keys were available. The property was clean but it does have a problem with ants that needs addressing The double bed was hard but that is a personal preference. Previous occupants stated that the property was noisy due to the location but I would say that we didnt have any noise from the bars/nightclubs it was just passing cars beeping their horns.
- Malcolm (10/5): If I go back to Birmingham again I will definitely look to stay at this apartment - excellent location well equipped and very clean
- Keith (7/5): Good -
