Guest Reviews
- Jennifer (7/5): -
- Ronald (8/5): - They could not find my reservation so I paid direct for a room and appears you also billed me. I didn't like getting charged twice and would like your fee refunded.
- Myriah13 (10/5): If you would like a friendly laid back atmosphere and a comfortable stay, I suggest that this is it. - Communication, and friendliness. Will recommend this to others. Comfortable and relaxing.
- Tommy (2/5): - We were informed the booking was not valid due to Expedia being closed and should not have been able to book a room. We ended up at another hotel for the night.
- Rebecca (2/5): - Roaches everywhere, urine everywhere, room smelled of feces, ac unit didnt work in the first room and the second room it was just sitting in a hole in the wall. Lights were flickering, stains on all of the furniture. When i brought this stuff up to the owner he said "thats impossible, all of that room was remodeled." Evidently not, this was the worst place ive ever been to. We couldnt even stay as he was unable to provide a habitable room. We were in and out in about 5 minutes.
- Steve (6/5): - Cool building, great restaurant next door.
- Ian (6/5): Pleasant -
- Heather (8/5): Very good -
- Thaddeus (2/5): - Terrible stay. Rooms have bed bugs.
- John (5/5): Passable -
- Terry (4/5): Wont stay again - Was not happy with the cleanliness of the room.
- Darrell (10/5): - Clean room
Friendly front desk
Easy access
- Jack (6/5): - I mean for the price can’t complain really…
You get what you pay for.
- Roy (1/5): Bad -
- maria (2/5): Wildfires and rundown - Really dated and rundown. Office smelled terrible from cigarette smoke. TV didn’t work and bathroom was bad. Stayed 1 night and then there was an evacuation due to 130 wildfires in the area. Manager said no refunds act of god. We moved to anther hotel out of evacuation zone
- Johnson (8/5): Very good - Staff was very friendly and met our needs and expectations
- Joy (7/5): The employees were very nice and helpful we slept great. - Very cute, clean and comfortable. Great location with nice restaurant right next door. I couldn’t figure out the TV and WiFi password wouldn’t connect, but I was ready to crash for the night anyway.
- Scott (6/5): - The area was fairly quiet but also was not close to many businesses. The staff were not all that friendly. The wifi was mediocre at best and when the staff was asked about it I was given a response of "I should just get rid of it altogether". There was no desk in the room despite the listing clearly indicating that there was and when I asked about that I was told "we removed all the desks". The lack of desk and mediocre wifi made the small amount of remote work I needed to do while on this weekend getaway very difficult.
Over-all, I feel the room was overpriced given the condition of the property, lack of a desk and crappy wifi internet. The only saving grace at all was the quiet area do to being slighly out of town.
- Judy (1/5): Bad - There is no breakfast and my grand child was bitten by something in several places! Will never stay there again
- Linda (6/5): Family Christmas trip - Hotel was located well for my needs. Room could use some updating. Bed was comfortable. Heater not working well and could not take shower in morning because water would not flow to shower head. The manager was friendly. And it’s located right next to a wonderful restaurant. Home cooking.
- Jiwan (4/5): - Ok
- Spring (1/5): Bad - Nothing! This
Lace is cockroach invested not just one room 4 rooms Same as above. And trying to get a refund from booking is awful.
- April (10/5): - Its a very nice hotel
- Judith (6/5): Pleasant - n/a the property was in need of some repair
- Heather (9/5): Superb - Rooms were clean and comfortable. Convenient to where I needed to be this weekend. The carpet needs replacing.
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- April (10/5): - The staff was very nice and friendly
- Kari (9/5): Great value - New beds are great. New owner is making major changes that make it a more desirable place to stay. The pillows
- Stacie (7/5): Good for what I needed. - EXTREMELY CLEAN!! Cramped parking and very outdated. Holes in walls
- April (10/5): - Very easy to access
- Krisha (9/5): Was visiting a friend - Friendly service willingness to help when needed and good location
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shannon (2/5): - Property itself was fine, had no complaints initially. The big issues were that there were bed bugs, guy at the front desk is grumpy and has a terrible attitude, and refused a refund for the bed bugs. I understand they have a no refund policy no exceptions, but bed bugs is a health hazard and they should’ve insisted on a refund themselves. Guy at the front desk thought it was ok to be a jerk and give me attitude even tho I was being nice, but when I gave him the same energy back he just said have a good day and waved me off.
- Leslie (1/5): Disgusting - Close to family Rudest man I have ever met. He was angry at me when I walked in. He was angry that I used booking.com. room smelled like cigarettes and a wet dog. Will never stay there again.
- Paul (2/5): - not a good time
- Jim (4/5): - Cute building on the outside. No hair dryer or cups. Globs of hair in bath drain. No fitted sheet to sleep on . The bed had two flat sheets.
- Diana (6/5): - The internet service was terrible needs to be improved. Would be nice to have a coffee pot in every room. The room as very clean.
- Mindy (8/5): - It was a good room for the price. I only needed to sleep there basically. I do wish the wifi worked better but that is out of their hands. I have stayed here twice in the last year and it's a nice little stay.
- James (1/5): Bed bugs - Cheap All three rooms I had were infested with bed bugs and one bed broke and was held together with zip ties
- Patricia (4/5): - TV did not work. Could HEAR everything through the walls in the room next to me. Did not appreciate someone knocking on the door at midnight looking for someone---NOT ME... the bed was broken/down like (really Bad) and I had to take my laptop to the office to insist in internet and later I saw an important file MISSING from my laptop (will be watching for mischief activity as a result he now has my personal identity, numbers, etc... AND last but not least.... OMG - NOW I know what BEDBUGS look like! Had to lay/sleep with lights on, on top of the bed at the foot of the bed.... killing them as they approached me. I'm very pissed about my file missing though. As a former cop. I will be watching as THIS man is the ONLY person ever to have had access to MY laptop.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The place is horrible. The toilet seat wasn't attached plus the toilet itself wasn't even attached to the floor. No maid service for clean sheets or towels the entire stay. False advertised as having free WIFI and being pet friendly. Very unclean rooms and unprofessional staffing
- Daniel (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jose (4/5): It was an experience that left me remembering to pack my sidearm next time. - Easy access to the highway was about the only true value. The description of the facility was way off. The king suite was actually a standard room. There was no private entrance to the room, nor was there a patio. Soundproof walls… yeah the tenant next door and his girlfriend had an argument the last night I was there and I heard all of it; even before the screaming started. There were clicking/tapping noises on the walls that pretty much went on through the night. There was no occupant lock or peephole on the door, but I suppose the crack between the door and the jam was wide enough that it could have been used as an alternative.
- WESLEY (10/5): - Very quaint and clean. Don't let surroundings fool you. It's a very nice place.
- Jerome (6/5): - The people running it were great but the inn has recently taken over and in the process of making long needed repairs so it had its issues but the beds slept great
- Rhonda (10/5): - Staff very friendly and willing to meet all your needs
- Donita (6/5): Pleasant -
- Barbara (2/5): - My room was NOT cleaned. The bathroom was filthy and the bed was very uncomfortable. Keep driving!
- Allyson (2/5): Sadly cannot recommend - The location was great. We were close to where we needed to be. Found a great coffee shop down the road from the hotel and WalMart. We were sleeping on top of a set of box springs on top of the box springs. It was not a comfortable sleep. I woke up with bites on me, so either bug beds or hungry some other type of bugs. But the way the bites were, you could see a track.
- Jamie (10/5): 2nd stay. Will stay again. - We have stayed twice here while visiting Pawhuska. We’ve enjoyed our stay both times! Well cared for place.
- Chris (2/5): - Gross, dated, woke up with a bed bug next to me. Go find anywhere else.
- Gregory (8/5): Fixer Uper - Under new management and they are working to fix, update, and upgrade several things. WiFi was unreliable. Closest dinning option is about two miles away.
- Mary (2/5): Bed bugs. Pictures included. - Bed bugs. Bed bugs. Run down place. Please spare yourselves the hassle of going home ready to fumigate luggage because of this place. Pictures included. I called and knocked on entrance night window at 3a about bed bugs. No response vis phone or in person. I sprayed lysol and put my luggage in trash bags I found on a cleaning cart and took a hot shower to kill anything I had on me. I had my carry on closed on sink so I wore "clean clothes" I washed immediately upon returning home. Fumigated my car and luggage upon returning home. DO NOT GO HERE.
- Krisha (6/5): - When I first got to the room it stunk and the tv didn’t work. I told front desk and they told me to keep trying to get it to turn on. The next day I told them again and they moved me to another room. It was better but kinda stunk. Also I was told a price and was charged extra.
- Michael (8/5): - Come machine out of order. Spiders in my room. No room service to change out sheets and towels. Lots of dirt along edges of floor.
- Julien (2/5): -
- Justin (2/5): Update please - Nice outside Very old and dated
- David (10/5): - Great people. Clean quite place
- Steven (7/5): Good -
- Jason (4/5): - When you book a $50 motel you know exactly what to expect so i dont have any complaint with the product i recieved which was indeed sketchy. This property does the best with what they have to work with but the room was indeed gross. My complaint is about how the lady at the front counter complained that expedia gives their rooms away for $50 dollars. Lets be honest here and say this room isnt worth half that price.
- Drusilla (7/5): Meets explanation for the price. Staff is very nice. - I was not offered Breakfast but I also did not ask about it. The staff is great. I left something in the room which I did not realize until they called me to let me know they had it in the office. This is above and beyond great service. The room was clean and comfortable. While it does need to be updated for the price it was fine. If I can get a room next time for the same price I would stay there again. Has a good size refrigerator and a microwave. The location is perfect for me. I was not offered Breakfast but I also did not ask about it. No coffee maker. While the place does need to be updated for the price it was ok. They had only a hand full of ice, but staff was very apologetic about it.
- E (8/5): - Did not like the cockroach Crawling up my arm in the middle of the night.
Otherwise ok
- Aller (10/5): Exceptional - All All
- David (6/5): It Struggled to Achieve an “OK.” - It was a pretty good place to sleep.
Parking lot was extremely small, only 6 slots near the hotel. The other parking spots were obscure, unlighted, not friendly for a guest who arrives in the dark and doesn’t yet know the layout. Leads to security concerns.
Large stains on the carpet. The room was heavily perfumed— you can’t completely mask the cigarette smoke.
- Martin (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jeremy (8/5): Very good -
- Sue (6/5): - There aren’t many hotel/motels in the area - this motel is def affordable the main frustration is they show free wifi but I was unable to connect all weekend and another guest we talked to mentioned same thing. The bed was ok - not great but it isn’t a pricey hotel so my expectation wasn’t high - ours also had a plastic protector on it that made noise when you moved. Not sure about breakfast - don’t recall it being mentioned so idk if it’s offered and at this price it prob isn’t. The room seemed clean - it had really dark carpet so it’s difficult to tell the condition of the floor. Also for whatever reason the bathtub was really slick to the point my husband almost fell while taking a shower.
- Chris (2/5): - It was very inappropriate of them to start ripping the roof and doing shingles at 6:30 in the morning and we were not even warned. And the lady at the desk said oh I didn't know they were coming I feel like I should get a comp room but no nothing at all.
- Michael (10/5): - Nearby where we were going
- Jamielovescharlie (2/5): Very poor - It was quiet and quaint. It a was an easy check in. There is no breakfast. No snack machine or anything to eat. There is a restaurant next door but it wasn't even open. The bed was the most horrible sleep my husband and I have ever had. The bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor. Our backs are still hurting. We have never checked out of a room before 8am until this one . We left before 7am.
- Coonce (6/5): Pleasant - Quaint and quiet. Nice set up. Very nice staff. Could use updated mattresses.
- Robin (10/5): - I cannot say enough how thankful I am at how well my mother & son were treated and taken care of by the manager & staff! Excellent service that went way above and beyond would highly recommend!
- Loren (2/5): - The caulking of the seams of the tub and shower looked like they were done with a handful of caulk and just smeared on, but the worse part was it was all blackened with mold.
The last morning there, we left the room to go have breakfast in town, after breakfast I brought my wife back to change clothes and I left again to take care of some business. This was at about 9:30. While I was gone the staff unlocked and opened the door while my wife was in there. No Knock, No Nothing !! She said she was sorry and left.
When I found out I confronted the person in question. She said she thought we had checked out. I told her that when the key is turned in, that is when I check out. She said "well some guests leave the key in the room". I understand that, but where I have a problem is, it was done an hour and a half before I had to be out. That room was still mine until 11 AM whether I was in it or not. I'm hoping it was poor judgement and simply a mistake, but you do her reports on the news from other places where jewelry, cash and other items come up missing while guests are away from their room.
Our privacy and security will no longer trusted to Victorian Inn in Cleveland Oklahoma.
- Justin (10/5): - The Management went above and beyond what was necessary to please me, she has my 5 star rating
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Minor maintenance problems were a nuisance. The manager had to get the TV working with the DirecTV. Simply turning it on just presented a screen full of snow. My room had a burned out light bulb and the microwave had no power. Stuff like that.
- Collins (1/5): bedbugs - location was nice but we didn’t stay. there were bedbugs. bedbugs
- Jessica (1/5): Disappointed - watching the staff fight with their family members and threaten to call the police and then ram a car. . the room was dirty, a mouse hole in the wall, barely any toilet paper, no phone in the room, no ice after 10pm, and the bed was hard.
- Marcus (10/5): - The bed was super comfortable. The lady at the front desk was super helpful. She gave me coffee to make in the morning. She also came over and helped us with the TV. She gave us a bag of ice for pur icechest before we left, that morning. The room smelled good. The water pressure was fantastic.
- Savea (4/5): Hopefully you get lucky - Cable t.v. and that it comes with a fridge The beds were hard, and their were bed bugs. Couple of months prior my other half n myself stayed in a different room and there was no bugs. So maybe they pick rooms.😜 But, Ms. Maria and her lovely granddaughter were really nice and she (Maria) had to do some shifting around bc the travel app I used to book my room was supposed to be closed to general public for this location. 🤷
- Stump (6/5): Pleasant - The hotel is very old the rooms are kind of small the bathroom is ridiculously small it's well kept and the owner runs the place
- Graham (10/5): - Great.
- Tessa (10/5): - Very sweet lady. Enjoyed spending the weekend here and will definitely be back.
- Chad (8/5): Convenient/Unimpressed - Booked this hotel for my parents to visit us while we were at the State Park for the holiday weekend. They stayed here the year before as well hoping they would have done some changes but nothing. The outside of the hotel needs a lot of TLC. A simple paint job,and new paint in the parking blocks would be a improvement.
- Dustin (10/5): - It covered all our needs.
- Jennie (8/5): Nice for the price - The place is cute and has a nice homely vibe. Only real complaint is the beds are hard as a rock. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant next door, Shilohs, was very very good. Would stay again if ever in that neighborhood.
- Lee (4/5): - The room was decent and better than I expected for the price. Couldn't get the TV to work. The worst thing was being kept awake by tenants talking loudly until 3am.
- Teresa (10/5): - The staff was so friendly and accommodating.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It is a bit old, but clean and pleasant. Everything in the room was as it should be. I was at Hallett Raceway for the weekend and this was quite close. Next time I go to Hallett I'll stay there again
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The property was convenient for my visit to Hominy, OK. However the facility is very outdated. There were numerous flies outside, which also found there way into the room. The lighting was dim and the AC unit separated from the wall. The shower curtain was torn. The room smelled stale
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Room was pleasantly clean
- Verified traveler (8/5): - as always i love that i am remembered by the staff and that they work to give me all my request although not always able to do so they r very courteous and friendly my only dislike this time was that the dead bolt didn't work on the entry door but all in all once again my stay here was affordable clean and very welcoming and i will stay here again and again because of this all
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The property was old and the front desk lady was smoking inside so the lobby smelled like smoke. Our room door had been broken into numerous times. You could see the repairs. I wasn’t happy at all I got sick snd had to leave early
- Deana (8/5): - Only issue was the AC kept freezing up. It was clean and not to hot outside so not a major issue
- Verified traveler (8/5): - As has the last 2 times the Victorian inn I a good quality hotel clean priced right and staff is good to have all paperwork ready when u arrive will stay here more I am sure as I go to Cleveland quit often
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Older hotel, facilities in fair to poor condition. Room was hot, small, beds were hard. Location was great.
- Gwynneth (10/5): Old fashioned charm. - We love in the area. With the cold weather among us, our water pipes froze. We wanted a shower and thought it'd be fun to go stay down the road at the pretty Victorian Inn.
Pets aren't allowed, that's kind of a bummer.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Disappointed - The room was not clean.
The sheets and bedding were not clean.
Shower wouldn't drain.
Smelled of smoke in a smoke free room and had ashes in an ashtray on the table.
- james (10/5): Fixer-Up, please. So sweet. I wud stay again. - Needs ice machine, but you can get some in ur bucket at the office. Building is a pretty Victorian-style. The spider webs have taken over the soffits & underpinnings. Needs paint everywhere outside. Inside, in our room needs a spring cleaning, scrubbing & vacuuming in the unseen places. Good water pressure. Told the Licensee about TP holder being too wide, so allows the roll to fall to the floor. Needs work but Wud return.
- james (10/5): Would stay again - Rooms are very comfortable they have a refrigerator microwave rooms are clean only thing that they need to work on is better Wi-Fi
- Dm (4/5): - The people were nice and friendly, very helpful. What I didn’t like was loose door handle / poor quality of motel. Major updates are needed. The location is close to the track but not much is around.
