• Imogen (10/5): - The bed was very comfortable, bathroom was well equipped, the housekeeping team did excellently at resetting the room everyday and it was so nice to receive a fresh bottle of water everyday. The rooftop was beautifully designed and lovely to sit at. Hossein and Anouar were incredible - very kind, informative, friendly and so welcoming from the start.

• Jan (10/5): Eine wunderbare Oase der Ruhe und des Wohlbefindens - Tzarra ist eine Oase der Ruhe und des Friedens in einer manchmal anstrengenden Stadt. Kaum tritt man aus den lauten und staubigen Gassen in den hellen und harmonischen Innenhof fühlt man sich in eine andere Welt versetzt. Das Riad ist ausgezeichnet unterhalten, sehr sauber und die Gastgeber ausgesprochen hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir haben auf der Dachterrasse gegessen, das Hammam mit Massage genossen und einen Ausflug gebucht. Alles war top. Und preislich sehr fair. Eine glatte 10. Da gab es nichts auszusetzen.

La struttura è situata in una posizione ottimale, in una via laterale e tranquilla ma a pochi passi dai souk principali. Il personale è molto cordiale e disponibile. La colazione è molto abbondante e variata e la cena è stata eccezionale. Torneremo sicuramente molto presto.

Les parties communes sont réduites, le patio est un peu petit, on a pas envie d’y rester. Et puis c’est un peu sonore : si quelqu’un parle dans le patio dans une chambre avec les fenêtres ouvertes, on entend tout, et si des gens bougent le’mobilier sur la terrasse, ça résonne dans le Riad

• Floris (10/5): The perfect Riad! 10+ - Just the perfect Riad to enjoy your Marrakech stay! There are a lot of Riads but Riad Tzarra is one of those gems where you feel at home instantly. The team is amazing, the manager, Anouar, Naima, etc they do everything to make you feel very special and help you with all the information you need about the city. Enjoy your breakfast at the rooftop, it’s beautiful. The rooms, it’s interior, bed and bathroom all amazing and stylish. Nothing. Everything is perfect

Purtroppo ci siamo stati solo per una notte e nonostante la nostra partenza alle 6 del mattino ci è stato servito una semplice, ma bella colazione. Noi abbiamo cenato nel Riad, ma credo non sia facile trovare ristoranti nelle vicinanze.
• Emma (10/5): - Beautiful riad in a great location; it's a 5 minute walk from the souks and close to other attractions but is just outside the main tourist trail so is very peaceful. From the ground floor room we stayed in, the call to prayer was even quiet enough to sleep through in the very early morning (a rarity!). The staff were all so kind and welcoming. The room wasn't huge but was perfectly clean and comfortable. We used the communal areas a fair bit during our stay, both during the day and in the evening - the terrace has been set up well with a couple of comfy corners to relax in and there's a quiet little reading nook on the ground floor too. The breakfast was good with plenty of options. We took up the offer of a taxi from the airport as we were worried we would have trouble locating the riad within the medina without help - I'd recommend the service for anyone who doesn't feel comfortable potentially getting a bit lost, but the position of the riad on Google maps is fairly accurate so in retrospect I think we would have managed fine without it too! This was a great place for our 3-night stay in Marrakech.

The Riad is perfectly positioned up a tiny quiet lane about five minutes walk from the main medina. It is a peaceful and beautiful tonic to all that bustle. The rooms are simply decorated and gorgeous; the beds are so comfortable; the staff could not be kinder and the breakfasts are fresh, homemade and absolutely delicious.

The staff was extremely helpful and attentive: they assisted me with organizing my stay even before my arrival and continued to be supportive throughout the entire visit. They were always available and happy to help with any request. One of the most convenient services was the possibility to arrange taxis through them. They would accompany us to the meeting point and pick us up afterwards, which was incredibly helpful since navigating the Medina is not always easy. I stayed in the Piment d’Orient room. The room itself is fairly simple, but the bathroom is beautiful and spacious. There is also the option to reserve dinner in advance. We decided to try it on our first evening and it was excellent: a three-course meal with typical Moroccan dishes. Finally, they made my stay even more special by surprising me with a birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would absolutely recommend this place. -

• Jürgen (9/5): Super Lage, sehr sauber, freundliches Personal und ein kleines Abenteuer im positiven Sinn 🥰 - sehr gute Lage, man kann alle Souks, Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen; es gibt sehr viele und gute Restaurants in der Nähe des Hotels; das Frühstück war sehr gut, wird direkt zubereitet und es wird auf Wünsche eingegangen; das Personal (allen voran Mister Hossein) waren überaus nett und zuvorkommend; grundsätzlich war es für uns ein kleines Abenteuer in einem Riad zu übernachten und das Design unseres Zimmers (Cardamome Suite) war vom feinsten 😀, es gibt auch noch eine kleine Dachterrasse zum verweilen und wo man das Frühstück einnehmen kann. Würden wir wieder nach Marrakesch kommen, währe das Riad Tzarra unsere erste Wahl. Über das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis unseres Zimmers lässt sich diskutieren. 10-15% billiger wäre angemessen gewesen. Diesen Umstand vergisst man dann aber doch wieder, weil alles top ist 👍

• Maria Angela (8/5): Great (but don’t do the hammah!) - Staff was great! Manu Young Giusy extremely nice and helpful Unfortunately, this was the most disappointing experience we had during our trip to Morocco, mainly because of the attitude of the staff member who treated us. From the beginning she was quite rude and unwelcoming, which made the whole experience uncomfortable. During the hammam she poured the water very abruptly, at times almost throwing buckets of water on us rather than gently rinsing, which did not feel relaxing at all. The room itself seemed more like a small storage space adapted into a hammam. Our bathrobes were left outside on the floor together with her jackets and shoes, which did not feel very hygienic or respectful. The massage was also not pleasant. The movements were rough and abrupt, and the pressure was uncomfortable. I ended up with significant back pain afterwards. The oil seemed low quality, my hair became extremely tangled, and my boyfriend even developed some skin irritation. Considering the overall experience and the unfriendly attitude of the therapist, the price of 50€ per person felt very high. Unfortunately, the poor service and the behavior of the staff member really affected what could have been a normal experience.

Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen egal ob für ein kurzes gateway oder auch länger.

Molto accogliente, ottima opzione in generale I servizi complementari si potrebbero migliorare.. Il servizio taxi è ottimo ma è un po' caro, l'area wellness è solo una stanza piccolina per l'hammam, il massaggio va fatto in camera uno per volta, il che è un po scomodo! Ultima cosa, la posizione non è ottima a mio avviso, è molto dentro la Medina, quindi per gli spostamenti diventa complicato

• Massimiliano (9/5): Pausa invernale a Marrakech - Incantevole. Non facilissima da trovare la prima volta. A differenza di altri Riad non ha servizio di sorveglianza per strada la sera e infatti si può incappare in bambini che chiedono l’elemosina e le stradine prima del Riad erano molto sporche.

La struttura, completamente ristrutturata di recente, è molto bella con le camere raffinatamente arredate in cui ogni dettaglio è stato attentamente curato. Posizione molto tranquilla e comoda per visitare i souk nonchè tutte le principali attrazioni all'interno della Medina. Il personale si è sempre dimostrato molto premuroso e cordiale. Colazione e cena deliziose, ben presentate e abbondanti. Abbiamo vissuto un'esperienza magica nel Riad Tzarra e possiamo consigliare senza riserve questa caratteristica struttura. Netjes en comfortabel - Mooie kleine Riad met 5 kamers in de historische oude stad maar niet op de hoofstraten, zodus toch zeer rustig. Mooi dakterras waar je kan ontbijten en zonnen. De kamers zijn klein en smal maar alles is aanwezig. Airco en badkamer zijn prima in orde. De wifi werkt zeer goed. Zwembad is meer een voetbadje maar je hebt het eigenlijk niet nodig want je bent de ganse dag weg op ontdekking. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk zeker Anouar ( de service en nachtman). Om de Riad te bereiken de eerste keer heb je hulp nodig maar die leveren ze graag. Ontbijt is zeer goed en uitgebreid. Kamer zijn klein maar is niet beklemmend. De prijzen die ze vragen voor het regelen van de taxi is wel echt veel te veel ( dubbel van wat je kunt vinden). Geen mogelijkheid tot snacks of diner.

• Veronika (10/5): - We were allowed to stay at this accommodation twice. We stayed there one night before our bikepacking tour. Anoire welcomed us very warmly, allowed us to park our two bikes overnight, and left our suitcases in the riad without any problems until our return. We're already looking forward to the next time.

• Keena (10/5): - Tzarra is a Beautiful Riad within the old city Medina. The staff were all wonderful and did their jobs to a very high standard. The rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. We had a lovely Morocco dinner on arrival and breakfast each morning on the roof top terrace was always lovely. The roof top terrace was a great place to relax with plenty of comfy seating. Thank you all for making our trip to Marrakech very special. The Riad was difficult to access without assistance from staff. After a few trips away from the Medina we got used to making our way back. Google maps was good, sometimes the signal was poor. The pool is small but good for a cool down.

• Esther (10/5): - A very intimate Riad with a refined Moroccan atmosphere. The room is very spacious and every detail has been taken care of. Excellent location, on a very quiet but well-lit street, just a short walk from the Ben Youssef Madrasa and the souks. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast and dinner are delicious and beautifully presented. The airport pick-up service is much appreciated. Their contact person drives you to the nearby square, from where you are accompanied by trolley to the entrance of the riad.

• Laura (2/5): - Prior to arrival, for 1 month staff refused to answer phone calls, respond to emails thru 2 of their official email addresses, nor respond to communication sent via expedia.com thru which I booked hotel. On arrival, found my room in disrepair. The hot water faucet was non-functioning, the shower hot water faucet was broken & would not turn off -had to call staff to turn off shower every time I used it. The shower gel container dispenser was broken. The air conditioner in room barely worked, had to leave the door open to let hot air out. Staff attendant Anouar & riad owner Hussein do not respect customer privacy. After requesting directly to Hussein that we did not want my room disturbed, he refused to tell me he planned to send a repair technician into my room to repair the shower, nor did he notify me anyone came into my room after I returned. I found out only after notifying manager when I discovered my personal belongings were disturbed. When u leave premises, secure ur personal belongings! Assume staff members will come into your room without notifying u & despite your request to not be disturbed. Lastly when we checked out, Hussein tried to scam me out of money by making me pay TWICE for the hotel room! I showed him I paid the full amount through expedia.com + my bank statement & was only was required to pay city taxes upon arrival. He still insisted I pay $366 euros for "properties taxes." AVOID this riad!

• Jonathan (9/5): Lovely staff, great location and highly relaxing - Breakfast and dinner were delicious. A lovely introduction to Marrakech for us! As you might expect with a Riad in the central medina, there isn't much insulation between rooms or the central courtyard so you might want some ear plugs if a light sleeper. The street noise is minimal though and it was never bothersome to us. We slept fine!

• Sian (9/5): we will be back - it was wonderful! - the staff were very friendly & welcoming. We were lucky enough to have the space to ourselves & the staff were on hand day & night to offer help & advice on the stay & exploring the city. Really wonderful people. The location was great for us, because it was a 10 minute walk into the center, but quiet around the riad. For some the walk might not be ideal - it is trciky to find the riad at first, recommend taking the transfer with them to help you get your bearings.

We explained that we are vegan and they went the extra mile to make our included breakfast vegan-friendly and got soy milk for our coffee. Aesthetic and affordable Road stay in a good location (short walk to the main square).
• Ulla-maia (9/5): Superb - A stylish and elegant riad, tastefully designed rooms, a peaceful oasis in the middle of the bubbling medina. Friendly and helpful service. Maybe the shower room needs a bit of repair
• Alessandro (10/5): Cool staff - Top staff and very nice riad; breakfast was excellent; high ceiling in the room, very clean Only the position, I mean it's 3 minutes by walk from the taxi station but the riad is in a position that SEEMS a little bit unsafe and it's in an area of Medina a little bit dirty. Anyway it was only a feeling , we walked in the night and nothing happened.
• Antoine (10/5): Exceptional - Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the Riad on the last night and the food was incredible. Definitely our best meal in Marrakech. You're a bit further out from the main areas of the Medina and some of the streets to get back at night are quite dark.
• Stephen (10/5): Beautiful road , great location in the Medina- and happy, lovely staff - This is truly a most beautiful riad. Its in a great location in the Medina, nearer to the top of the markets so you enter them near the souks -great to see. the staff were all lovely - they just wanted to make our stay as we wanted it to be : at our request, they lined up a guide for the markets on our first day, arranged a hammam etc. The room - especially bathroom - was exquisite. The first night we arrived, they made us dinner in the riad - and the breakfasts were great. We'll definitely be staying there again on our next visit! Nothing!

• Laurie (8/5): Riad Tzarra is strong - The roof terrace has alot of space for reading and sunbathing. The staff were very attentive and the breakfast was good. Good coffee too. I was there during the earthquake and they were very kind and supportive and helped with dinner when things were closed etc. Internet was good. The bed was pretty hard and it was difficult to sleep as it was kinda noisy and the mosque is so close. It blares at 5am. They only cleaned the room when I asked specifically and there were debris and dust from the earthquake left around the bed. It's just quite expensive so I would expect a comfier bed and a duvet. The room is beautiful though.

• Cool (9/5): An oasis of calm and charm. - Delightful accommodation in the heart of the Medina, an oasis of calm and charm. First class service, very clean and fresh, thoroughly recommend this Riad. Thanks to all the staff. Difficult to find anything wrong here, it ticks all the boxes.
