I found the room very hot and the heater couldn't be turned off. No table or desk where to sit comfortably with the laptop. The staff is very helpful. Very good location. Easy to find and to park.

• Philip (8/5): Good option on highway and near bus statio - Stayed only one night during transit. Smooth check-in. Friendly helpful staff. Nice clean room at front of building facing highway. Some road noise with window open but good sound proofing when closed. Good view of Mt Ararat from top floor terrace. Drinks available from front terrace. Nice shower. Bed was a bit hard. Good breakfast. Dolmuş available to town and palace, both of which are interesting. 10-15 min walk to bus station. Good value for money.

Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und das Personal sehr freundlich. Insgesamt ein guter Standort um z.B. das Ishak Pasha Serail zu besuchen. Für Reisende mit eigenem Fahrzeug perfekt. • Veronika (7/5): Good - Excellent location of the hotel. There is parking. The room has everything you need: slippers, shampoo, hair dryer. The biggest disadvantage is that the rooms are cold. The heating was turned on only for the night, but at 7 a.m. at a temperature of -2 degrees, the heating was already turned off. There was nothing to eat at breakfast. There were soup, french fries and eggs. There was no omelette, no sausages, only water in bottles and no juice. As a result, all 4 people were hungry.

Wifi was not strong in the room (we'd read a previous review about this so we hadn't expected wifi) but was strong in the halls & reception (which has comfortable seating). Staff were helpful. Close to the bus station & easy to get into town for food/transport to palace.

• Edgar (9/5): Superb - I stayed here 3 nights before climbing Mount Ararat and after coming back. Very comfy hotel. Young helpful receptionists that are from the family of the hotel owners so it's a family business. Delicious variety of open buffet for breakfast. Overall Good for the price. I chose 9 instead of 10 just because of the shaky internet that they must really solve. Good location near main bus station and bus stop just in front of hotel to go with cheap public bus to Dogubayazit center.

• KT (8/5): Decent hotel, beautiful terrace - Ertur Hotel is not really a boutique hotel but a very clean place with very helpful staff and owner. Its terrace is overlooking magnificent Mount Ararat and one wishes the rooms would also had the same gorgeous view. The owner Mr, Eryilmaz acted more like a host accompanying us to see the Ishak Pasha Palace and invited us to a wonderful dining on the terrace. The breakfast was also decent and wholesome. Overall, it was a nice experience especially the way in which the staff was helpful.
