- Benjamin (8/5): - Very good hotel overall, very clean, reasonable sized room, great location in Barsha Heights close to some shops etc. Breakfast was average but did the job. The swimming pool was small and not a lot of loungers which was a bit disappointing. Gym was fine, could have been a bit bigger but never had a problem getting on machines. Quite a busy hotel, lots of guests in and out but was fine.

- Sandra (6/5): - The Buffet Breakfast & Dinner were excellent well worth to include! If you have an issue take it to the on duty manager and they will kindly look into it! My very large suitcase could not be accomodated in the regular King room but plenty space to put a bench to accommodate! What I didn't like was the pool shown on this hotel is a Wyndom Condo property 30 minutes by shuttle from the hotel which you had to pay for to get on beach & pool! The actual pool on premises is not show but I do have pictures! Miss leading to say the least but very safe hotel for single traveller's! My flight to Greece was delayed an extra day and hotel manager said hotel was full and quoted 907.00 for one more night but my agent that books found this very Hotel on an Expedia site for 2 nights in question for 450.00 for both nights ! I still opted to leave and went to Holiday Inn Express in Dubai airport! They made an effort to correct but a little to late!

Two restaurants available within the hotel, nice area with dining options close by. Short walk to the Metro. The only small complaint would be related to housekeeping (missed to leave towels and toiletries in our room), however, Front desk staff was more than helpful and received missing items in just few minutes. Hotel offers beach access with free shuttle, which is very nice and convenient. Overall, very pleasant stay and we would definitely comve back anytime.

- Sheila (10/5): - I really enjoyed this hotel- the room was very clean and attractive, and I was upgraded to a balcony room. Bonus points for having a tub too! There were a lot of options for breakfast. Highlight of the visit was the included access to Soluna beach and free shuttle to and from the beach. The hotel is also close to the metro for anyone who wants to access downtown Dubai and other areas without going through (road) traffic.

We decided to check out one night early as a result. The rooms are small, their respective amenities aren’t that good, plus I didn’t like the garbage smell in the underground parkade.

- Samantha (6/5): TRYP Dubai - Pro's - Good location - Good price (but probably due to lack of sun after 12pm on the pool deck) - Comfortable bed - Costa coffee & supermarket within 5 mins walking distance - Small fridge in the room Con's - Sun goes off the swimming pool for the rest of the day at 12pm because there are two skyscrapers in front of the hotel and the sun goes behind them - Didn't really get a decent upgrade for being a Platinum Hotels.com member, they were reluctant to give any upgrade at all Wouldn't stay here again due to the lack of sun from 12pm, especially as I came on this trip particularly for the sunshine

- Emil (6/5): - Perhaps Expedia is not communicating properly or the staff at reception doesn't read instructions, but none of the VIP perks were on offer. In fact when the confirmation was received, few minutes later I was invited to bid for a room upgrade, which was promised at a time of booking. It wasn't a big issue, because I wasn't there for the hotel perks, but it was a bit annoying. Another thing - guests should receive discounts if they dine in the restaurants. But that is not mebtioned. I was charged full amount, untill the very last night when I was asked if I am staying in the hotel and discount was applied to the bill. Overall staff is polite and friendly and hotel is clean. Breakfast is good.

- UPINDER (10/5): - The TRYP is a recommended busy hotel with many shopping and dining options close. The metro is a short 10 minute walk. The rooms are well equipped, however, avoid the rooms near the hotels Local restaurant as you will not get any sleep until midnight from the music and chatting of the guests. We were given a room on the upper floors once a room request was made due to this noise. Food options are plenty during breakfast. Staff at the hotel are great, polite and professional. The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to the nearby malls and beach area. I recommend the hotel.

The only feedback that would benefit the establishment in the long run is the food quality and selection could use a revamp.

- Lisa (10/5): - I was skeptical on the location, but I was trying to stay as close to Palmer Jamari as possible, this location was amazing, but the added bonus is the restaurant, and the breakfast buffet were insane in the best way possible. The staff was amazing. Everybody was super friendly. My only issue was I had an emergency and had to fly back to the states and they would not refund me my final four days other than that. It was a perfect stay

- Karen (10/5): - Just back from a 6 night stay. We had a one bedroom suite as our grown up son was coming with us. The room was fantastic, it was like 2 adjoining rooms so we had 2 bathrooms, 2 fridges and 2 TVs. Room was clean and staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the metro but Hala taxis are very cheap if you want a quick option. I would highly recommend this hotel.
- Katrina (10/5): - Fabulous stay! The staff was absolutely wonderful and accommodating. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. My room was very clean as was the entire property. It’s 15-20 mins away from the main attractions. They also have car service readily available all day.

- Zeyna (6/5): - Overall a decent option. Property is in a nice location, close to the metro. The rooms are nice. We had free Beach Club access with our booking, which also included a shuttle service which was very convenient. The Beach club is great. However, there were some issues with the room, staff did not deal with properly. Firstly, the TV and aircon would just randomly turn on at night, despite repeated off-switching which disturbed our sleep. Supposedly some technicians were sent, but they did not fix the issue, so we had to fix it ourselves. We did not get hot water at times, (only worked right on the last day) and the water pressure was weak (due to a broken showerhead). Moreover, the tissue box in the room was contaminated with an orange substance (?) which also looked moldy. We only uncovered this on our last day. When we raised the issue we were offered an upgrade, which was unhelpful as we were flying out the same day, and subsequently ignored. We were also asked if there was a special occasion for our trip prior to our arrival. Since it was a honeymoon, we communicated as such. This was subsequently ignored, which would have been fine if we hadn‘t been specifically asked for the occasion which made the whole interaction somewhat bizarre. Lastly reception staff was very blunt (with a few exceptions).

I got a bit spoilt with room as they put me on the top floor with a balcony. Great views and the lifts were quick which is normally the downside with a room so high. Room service was great. TV channels were good. Shower head fell off a few times due to the weight but all in all great value for money. Would easily recommend ☺️

- Verified traveler (8/5): Weekend stay - Stayed for the weekend only. Hotel was quite busy. Initially was in a room that had interleading door and could clearly hear the people in the next room. Had to ask reception to change our room. Also make sure you don’t have a room facing the street or too low down as it gets quite noisy. Overall a comfortable hotel. Though it only had a shower over the bath and bath itself was quite high which made getting in and out quite challenging and dangerous. Water also fluctuates between hot and cold even though it’s on hot setting. Lovely walk from the metro so location quite convenient. Also coffee shops and restaurants nearby in walking distance.

Requests take 2-3 times to be acted upon, no soundproofing, food is flavourless, having to book the day before to use the beach club is a pain especially when you are on holiday and want to go with the flow, gym is poorly equipped with minimal space, the TV’s don’t have smart features/they are locked with no Netflix etc, hot water takes 5-10 minutes to start in the shower and the flow is weak

Attention to detail helped me enjoy this unlikely choice for a Dubai Beach Vacation. Breakfast came with excellent choices. Now if only somebody could have the calls to prayers quietened at 5:15am from the local mosque my rest would have been perfect.

- premjit (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We stayed for 4 nights. Checkin and checkout was a breeze. Rooms are not that spacious. But they serve the purpose. Washrooms I found to be very tiny. Could be because coming from North America we have bigger washrooms here. Hotel is dated and it shows that it needs some modifications. But otherwise everything was neat and clean. We have half board option (breakfast and dinner included) which we really liked. Overall a good stay

The shower was not working so I ask to move to other room. And they gave us right away. The breakfast was good. But every day was same food. Still good for the price. The staff was very nice most of the time they gave us good cappuccino. I have to give a very good complement to the guys who help us with the luggage. And specially Aqeel who made our stay very comfortable. He was always arranging our schedules for soluna palm beach. The shuttle was none stop taking us to a lot of places and that save us money for a taxi. I will recommend this Tryp hotel. We will get this hotel again for our next vacation .

- John Rainier (8/5): Great value for money - It was my first time staying at the hotel and they made it really memorable for me. It was my birthday when we checked-in and the staff surprised me with a small cake that was delivered to my room. It's just a 10 minute walk to the metro station. What's amazing is that it also comes with a complimentary free accesa to Soluna Beach Club at The Palm! Definitely great value for money.
