• Caro (3/5): - La limpieza es deficiente. Tuvimos que enviar fotos sobre el estado de la casa. Estaba lleno de telas de arañas, arañas en las camas e insectos muertos. Además no había mucha presión de agua para poder tomar un baño. El dueño a ir a ver las cabañas, solamente limpió una habitación. No hay muchos enchufes y las luces de las piezas son deficientes.

• Miers (8/5): Estadía cómoda con hermosa vista al lago - El hospedaje fue muy cómodo y estaba bien equipado, con todo lo necesario para cocinar. La vista al lago es muy linda y suma mucho a la experiencia. Si bien se encuentra algo retirado del centro, se puede llegar caminando sin dificultad y el recorrido es agradable por las vistas. Además, hay un almacén a unas dos cuadras, lo cual resulta muy práctico. Cabe aclarar que no cuenta con televisión, pero no fue un inconveniente. La presión del agua en la ducha era muy baja, lo que hizo que la experiencia no fuera del todo satisfactoria.
• Anna (3/5): Old, dirty and smelly. - The view was nice, right next to lake. Lots of birds. I read the previous reviews and I expected some older furnitures but I found was old, broken and smelly cabin. The shower pressure not existing. Taps in the bathroom broken, in the sink there was no hot water. Flush working whenever it wants. Piece of package of mayonnaise under the shower! Everything dusty, needs proper cleaning. The whole cabin smells funny and after using the shower you can smell gas (I assume from the boiler). Plenty of dead bugs in the cabin, including food moths. We stayed for two night, despite cleaning services in the description, no one came and cleaned the cabin. No shampoo or soap. WIFI was terrible. I texted the host four times on booking and WhatsApp and he replied once to half of my question. No baggage storage. Thankfully we we are away for the whole day so we spend in the cabin only two night but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It’s a shame because location and property is amazing but the cabin itself is terrible. Oh and the key was stuck in the door meaning we locked the door but had to leave the key in the keyhole as it was impossible to remove.

• Tim Doup (8/5): Nice place to stay on the outskirts of El Calafate - The space, in our cabin (#5) we had two separate bedrooms with each their own shower. Nice living/kitchen area. Quiet and nice location for a walk around the bay. The walk to the city center takes about 45-60 minutes, but a fairly quick ride with the car or taxi. We stayed three times and we enjoyed coming back to this place. Shower pressure is a bit low. Kitchen utensils need an upgrade and it would be nice to have some cleaning cloths. Overall, it needs a bit of an upgrade but we still had a very comfortable stay.

• Dolia (8/5): Beautiful lakeside setting - could be amazing with better upkeep - This is one of those rare stays where it’s genuinely hard to choose a rating. On the positive side, check-in was easy and the location is absolutely beautiful. There’s a large, lovely meadow, the cabins sit right by the lake, and the house itself is very big with plenty of space. The setting is truly scenic and has so much charm. I don’t want to offend the hosts at all (it gave the impression they might be older), but this place has huge potential. With a good property manager and some investment in cleaning and repairs, it could be truly wonderful - the location absolutely deserves it. However, the condition of the house made it difficult to fully enjoy. It was extremely dusty, as if it hadn’t been lived in for a long time, and it clearly needs renovation, a deep professional cleaning, and some maintenance. The furniture felt very old and squeaky, and it took a long time to warm the house up - we ended up leaving earlier than planned.

• Milagros (7/5): Está ok - Las cabañas son lindas. La cama es muy cómoda y tiene buena vista. Está demasiado lejos del centro y en el calafate no hay ningún tipo de transporte como bus/ Uber por lo que si llegaras a necesitar moverte sin tu auto propio es casi imposible sin tener que pagar una fortuna en taxi, además de que alrededor no hay nada cerca ni para comer. La ducha no tenía buena presión de agua y no ofrecen jabón o shampoo. Nose si por confusiones de booking o de impuestos en el país a mi llegada terminé pagando un 25% mas que lo que decía mi precio inicial.

• Laurent (6/5): Pas cher mais vetuste - L'équipement de cuisine est insuffisant (1 casserole, pas de torchon,... ) et globalement tout l'équipement de la cabane est vétuste. Décoration vieillotte et kitch. Le ménage est fait tous les jours mais c'est perfectible (poubelle de toilette non vidée, nappe sale à notre arrivée... WiFi quasi inexistant.

• Letitia (10/5): Idyllic stay - Great cabins near the water, so very peaceful, clean and idyllic. Would suggest a car if you would like to do some town visits as it is a 3km walk to the nearest supermarket but it is a lovely walk along the waters edge. Great host, very helpful printing out some tickets for us and calling taxi's.
