Ils ont accepté de garder mes affaires pendant mon trek au Macchu Picchu (j'avais réservé une chambre à mon retour aussi). Free filtered water and coca tea always available in the lobby. Nice little view overlooking the city. Wifi was great. No complaints!

Sehr gepflegte Grünanlage im Innenhof des Hotels. Die Lage an einer viel befahrenen, dort teilweise üblichen, Straße. Ausstattung hat schon mal bessere Tage hinter sich. Leider kein Balkon wie erhofft. Frühstück hatte keinerlei Abwechslung.

• Wei (9/5): Good value for money, a bit far from center tho. - The owner has a very pretty garden, and they have stored our luggage for almost two days. Really appreciate them. Breakfast was included but no substitute if we have to leave early, and no light for shower room.

The garden is very cool and there is also a nice view over cusco. The breakfast was delicious and it was not only basic stuff like in most of the places.

I would request an upstairs bedroom as in the lower rooms you hear everything above you and, being in Cusco, there are always people leaving very early for tours/excursions.

• Peg (10/5): This is a beautiful little quaint hotel with everything you need for a memorable stay in Cusco. - This hotel has a very beautiful garden area with a view out into the city. It is very charming! We also had a great view from our room. The staff were just great here and very accommodating. Meliza and Rita in the breakfast room put out a wonderful breakfast for us everyday. The beds were comfortable and the shower was very good! The location for this hotel was perfect for us to take our tours and walk about Cusco for all the sightseeing there. We found some great restaurants all within walking distance too. I would definitely stay here again!

• R (8/5): Lovely hotel - The courtyard was lovely. The view was great. The hotel always had filtered water and coca tea available in the lobby. There was always warm water and the room had heat for the cold nights. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was good for us because it was a quiet area but the old city was still close enough to walk to. The breakfast itself was very basic.

The most important thing in the room is the bed and bedding. The bed was very hard, so we had to use a blanket to make it more comfortable. Also, the bedding itself felt very cheaply made. This was not good.

Positives: - Excellent room for the price. - Hotel courtyard is gorgeous. - Breakfast was good, limited options but done well. Eggs cooked to order. Only open until 0930 was slightly annoying though. - Location is good, but not perfect (in hilly San Blas, about 10 mins from main square). - Stored luggage for free whilst we were trekking. Improvements: - Odd to take room key for them to clean room. - The whole being buzzed in and buzzed out process felt strange. - Shower took a while to heat up.

• Anastasia (10/5): Highly recommended !! - Μείναμε στο Amaru colonial για 8 μέρες και το δωμάτιο καθαριζόταν κάθε μέρα .το δωμάτιο ήταν είχε μπαλκόνι με θέα το Κουσκο.η κεντρική πλατεία βρίσκεται 10 λεπτά με τα πόδια . Το κρεβάτι ήταν πολύ άνετο και υπήρχε θέρμανση μετά της 7 το απόγευμα . Το πρωινό ήταν πολύ νόστιμο και είχε ποικιλία. Όλο το ξενοδοχείο ήταν προσεγμένο και καθαρό καθώς και το προσωπικό ήταν ευγενικό και πρόθυμο . Όλα ήταν εξαιρετικά !

There was one woman who helped us with oxygen who was lovely. The front desk staff also seemed very surprised and not particularly welcoming about keeping pur luggage on the last day- although they did so . We suggest communicating with the staff through the booking.com messaging perhaps- for clarity. The gardener was charming and the young staff around the hotel were kind and helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fairly basic, but the young woman who made eggs and managed the kitchen was very sweet and kind and helpful. The wifi was very spotty in our room. We think that if the front desk staff had been gracious, helpful and welcoming our experience would have been markedly different.

The room was comfortable and the shower was hot, and after 4 days sleeping in a tent, it was an absolute luxury! The pancakes at breakfast are delicious! Along with all the fruits and eggs made to order. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, I would highly recommend and if I go back to Cusco I would stay again! Nothing

• SNietgen (10/5): Incredible views & great location - We had a wonderful stay at Amaru Colonial. We spent eight nights there and felt well cared for throughout our visit. The room was spotless, the location was excellent, just a short walk from Plaza de Armas, and the breakfast, while simple, was good. The view from our room was absolutely incredible. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cusco. It’s worth noting that there is a fairly steep hill between the plaza and the hotel, which is something to consider when booking. Though this wasn’t an issue for us.

The property is absolutely beautiful, full of character, and has a charming colonial feel that really adds to the experience of staying in Cusco. The rooms and common areas were nicely kept and very clean, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, always available to answer questions and assist with anything we needed. The location was also excellent—close to everything, yet quiet enough to relax after a full day of exploring. Overall, this was a fantastic stay. Charming, comfortable, and well located. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

• Marina (7/5): - The breakfast was good with variety, and the hotel area is overall very nice and peaceful. The room view. My room was under the staircase and therefore quite dark. This might not be a problem for many people. However, if you prefer to have daylight, check that the room is on the upper level.
