• Blai (10/5): Excellent place to stay, in a great location, in front of the Sea and not in a noisy neighbourhood - We visited Weymouth during half term with our son and stayed in Lichfield House. When we arrived we were welcomed in a very candid way, and showed to our room. The room was perfect, facing the sea in a not so busy street. The breakfast is ordered the day before to be prepared to our liking. The food was delicious and the staff amazing. Highly recommend it!

• jeffrey (10/5): Perfect short break destination. - The view we had from the room only being across the road from the beach cannot be beaten, breakfast was excellent and a large selection to keep anyone very happy. we will go back sometime soon. Parking could cause a problem only limited space in the street which fills up quickly and very seldom gets an empty spot. If you have a disability badge you can park by Olivetto the restaurant on the street , I spoke to the parking warden who told us this after a while otherwise it was £10 for 4 hours .
• Andrei Nicolae (9/5): - Great breakfast cooked on the spot. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. It also had all facilities, such as wifi, a (really small) room fridge, TV. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would say the location is unbeatable - right on the beach and 5 mins away from the city centre. Good value overall. The bathroom smelled a bit like damp.

The old fashioned fire doors let down the ambience of the premises and the strengthened glass window in the room door could do with a proper black out blind, light shone through all night ., so the room wasn’t dark enough .

Das Betreiber-Ehepaar ist extrem liebevoll und um einen angenehmen Aufenthalt sehr bemüht! Der Fussweg ins Zentrum ist in 10-15min spazieren gut machbar. Schönes Städtchen mit einer langen Promenade, wunderschönem langen Strand und vielen Pubs, Cafes und Restaurants, Unterkunft definitiv empfehlenswert! Nichts

• Debbie (10/5): Litchfield House truly made our holiday a real break. - I am a returning customer who will be returning again next year. I had my adult special needs daughter with me, so it is imperative I know she is safe and comfortable. Alec and Sue are such lovely hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Alec is a one-man tourist guide and is able to point you to some wonderful locations and eateries in the area. Our room was beautifully decorated and refreshments were replenished daily. The beds were so very comfortable and the bedding was plentiful. The shower was spot on and everything easy to use, with complimentary toiletries. Our location could not be beaten! I could leave my daughter watching a DVD in our room, walk out of the front door, cross the single track lane and you are on the beach. A beautiful swim in crystal clear water. Roll on next year!

Our room was opposite the beach amazing view, the room was clean and nicely decorated. Our room was refreshed daily and items replaced. The owners were lovley and friendly and very helpful. • Frances (9/5): Superb - The room was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The room was cleaned everyday to a high standard and clean bath towels changed whenever needed. The location was excellent, the beach was just across the road. It is a 10 minute walk to the main shopping area and close to the railway station. The breakfast room and hallway needs updating . And the breakfast needs more options for continental choices e.g. pastries & pancakes.

• Hall (10/5): If you want a very nice friendly B&B look no further. This place has it all. - We have stop in Weymouth a few times but Lichfield house was the Best B&B we have stopped in. It was very clean and smells fresh the moment you walked through the door. Our room was outstanding with a small fridge and all amenities to make drinks. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of space to walk round the room. And a stunning view off the sea. 100% happy

He's 10 years old & has ASD & ADHD they completely understood him & he felt so at ease staying here & has already asked to go back for another stay. We stayed in room 6 & the view was absolutely stunning, even more so at 6am to watch the sunrise. Had everything u needed to help travel lighter, including towels , hairdryer & toiletries. Breakfast was amazing & there's plenty of choice. Alec & Sue even left a Easter egg for my son on our table when we went down to breakfast on our last morning. Followed by pleasant landlord and lady who were amenable to our wishes and gave us some good recommendations for day trips.👍😊🏊‍♂️ Personally, we found the bed a bit small as we are used to superking size. Took a bit of getting used to it but still got a decent night's sleep 😴

The carpets are beginning to show their age and could possibly use just a good cleaning. The shower’s grout showed signs of mold. Breakfast ending time could be a little later, though they weren’t rigid with the check out time. Tight hallways on upper floors.

I travelled with my mother who has mobility issues and requested for a room on the first floor with a sea-view. The hosts were kind enough to rearrange with other guests and allot us a room on the first floor. Very warm and welcoming hosts! Lovely sea-view. Great breakfast. Very cozy ambience overall.
