Guest Reviews
- Hozalian (10/5): -
- Thomas (7/5): Excellent for the price....not very comfortable - A granola bar, coffee, and that was about it. Bed was very uncomfortable. Shower leaked hot water out of the spigot, making for very hot feet. A place to rest, yet not a destination in our estimation.
- THIANRAT (8/5): -
- Camille (6/5): - Tres proche du centre et points d’activités La chambre était sale. Des taches jaunes sur le mur de la salle de bain et le canapé dans la semble semblait avoir 120 ans
- Colton (10/5): -
- Chad (9/5): -
- Clauson (10/5): - Quiet extra friendly helpful staff All ok

- Renea (7/5): Comfortable beds, quiet room. - Location to fairgrounds was walkable distance, room was clean, beds were comfortable and stay was quiet. There was no where to hang jackets or clothes, and while there were towels a bath mat would have been nice to have.
- Ron (7/5): -
- Taylor (7/5): -
- John (8/5): -
- Lori (10/5): Perfect. - Friendly and prompt staff. Cozy -and warm.
- Dean (10/5): - The owner was lovely! I had to call to update that I will arrive much later than I expected. The owner was nice, helped me make the payment remotely, and made sure that I will enter the room and get my keys at a very late hour. Thank you! Nothing to complain for...
- Colleen (1/5): - I didn't stay here because the office was supposed open at 4pm we wanted until 4:30. No one came.
- Addison (5/5): -
- Carla (10/5): Quiet and comfortable - Quiet and close to the largest mineral Hot springs.
- Mike (4/5): Simple & Basic - The room and bathroom were clean. Good stay for those that need a quick overnight and simple room. Overall lighting needs updating. No lamps for device charging. Couldn't take a bath, couldn't plug the tub. Noisy location and room felt crowded and old.
- Jim (10/5): - Clean room. Close to downtown businesses. older hotel but ok
- Kory (8/5): - Good location, near Hot Springs Park, easy walk into town. Good value, nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. Terrific service from on site assistant, very helpful with easy check-in.
- Michela (8/5): Good value for money motel - Location & good value for money towels ripped and with spots, dated decor
- Lidwina (10/5): - Don't expect modern rooms, but what you can expect is a clean room, with microwave; small fridge and coffee maker for a reasonable price. Friendly staff.
Very close to Hot Springs Park and Taco John's neighbor.
- Waiva (4/5): - While it was less expensive than other places in the area it was old and needed a lot of work.
It was clean but...There was no outlet in the bathroom, light switch missing a cover. There were little bugs in the sink when we got up the next morning. Fitted sheet didn't stay on the bed.
Traffic noise during the night kept me awake.
- Ken (10/5): - Good place to lay your head down at night.
Place was clean and very accommodating.
Will definitely stay there again.
- Roxane (8/5): - Easy check in
Very clean
Bed a little too firm
Very friendly staff.
- Casey (8/5): Quirky inn - It was a last minute booking. Place was clean though a little dated. Homey. It had WiFi, tv and mini fridge. Place was quiet save the neighbor that had the tv on repeat all night.
- Joe (8/5): - Cute older place that served it’s purpose for me
- Robert (8/5): - Rooms are nice, the outside needs attention
- FREDERIC (8/5): -
- Brittany (4/5): Add things - Top Door didn’t lock microwave almost set fire in room 11 in about 2 minutes. No mirror in room no plug ins in bathroom. Add a mirror in room and fix microwave. And door. And clean under the cubby too that looks very nasty or just repaint it.
- Gerald (10/5): - Liked the large refrigerator with the freezer. Nice hot shower.
- Stephen (5/5): Don't bother - Property was pretty shabby. So was the room, but it was clean.
- Janet (2/5): - Filthy room. Man in room next to us was very threatening to us, he knew we asked him to turn tv and music down so we could sleep. Adjoining door between our room and his flimsy. Not secured. Door to room wasn’t secure, hard to open, knob was falling off. Flies all over the “office”. The whole place was in disrepair. I’ve travelled all over the world, even in poor remote places, rural and small cities in the USA, hoteliers take more care of the rooms and spaces they rent to the public, or at least try to make an effort. Not here. Ignore the great, good, or even fair reviews. Horrible people and disgusting place.Even though we paid for the room in advance, we packed and left at about 9:30 pm and went to a different hotel in Thermopolis! Not a people friendly place. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid.
- Susan (8/5): Clean and comfortable, decent for the price - Close to state park hot springs
Friendly staff
Comfy bed and sheets No outlet near bed for charging
No desk or dining table
- Tammy (2/5): - Rooms are dirty and outdated
- Joyce (6/5): Vacation - The positive was a very friendly young man checked us in very nice and helpful. Negative this hotel is very overpriced the pictures on hotels.com must be from ten years ago.very noisy next to a busy highway with paper thin walls. Don’t always believe the reviews on hotels.com
- Bev (6/5): -
- Mirjam (6/5): -
- Jerry (10/5): - Clean place. Simple. Everything you expect.
- Grace (8/5): - Stayed here after a wedding and it was great!
- Dale (10/5): - Good basic clean room with all the expected amenities at a fair price. No complaints,
- Sharon (4/5): Not Again - Had 2 night reservation, charged CC 1/2 day before 4 o'clock check in. Very old motel with amateur remodeling. It was small but clean except for the pillow which had odors from previous guests. Left after first night.
- Ferguson (9/5): Cozy value motel. - The motel is basic but the decor is tastefully cozy. The location is close to Taco John's and also a family run ice-cream shop across the street. Close to the hot spring baths, as well. The host isn't always on site, but they apparently live close by and will come over to assist if called upon,
- Michael (10/5): - Great lodging option option in Thermopolis. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped room in an older property. Would definitely return!
- Carolyn (10/5): - Great location, quiet, and the room was cozy, clean and comfortable! It was a great stay!
- Caroline (9/5): -
- Dana (8/5): - We just needed a place a sleep & it served that purpose. The room had everything we needed & was clean & comfortable.
- Michael (8/5): - A good basic motel. Great location for exploring the area and the town. Would benefit from a refurbish but more than adequate for what I needed. Staff were great. Always helpful.
- Chris (6/5): - ceiling fan all bulbs either missing or burnt out, bathroom vanity lights only 1 bulb of 4 working
- Nathan (6/5): - Easy to check in. Just called the number and got the room and key already for me. It's close to things. Bathhouse and State Park. Could use aittle attention to upkeep. I had no lights on ceiling fan and bathroom lights had 3 of 4 bulbs out. Bed was stiff but better then the floor. Ya know what ya are getting and that's ok. Would stay again
- Douglas (8/5): Great Value and clean - Loved the quant rooms, dated but clean and organized. Dont let the outside fool ya.
- William (10/5): - Easy check in and nice, clean rooms. Location is central with an easy walk to everything you need.
- Lucretia (8/5): No hotel contact?? - This was the first time i have stayed at a no contact hotel. Key was in a lock box. The only contact with management giving me our room number and lockbox code.
- Robert (8/5): - This is an old property that has been refurbished. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. No amenities like a free breakfast, or even an ice machine. Had to go next-door to taco John’s to get ice. I would consider staying at this motel again if the price was a bit cheaper, or the amenities a little more.
- Donald (8/5): - .
- Susan (8/5): - While an older property it was tastefully updated and welcoming. Appreciated the amenities provided in the basket (water, snacks). Great fridge and microwave. Very soft towels. Nicely scented soap/shampoo.
- Dawn (10/5): Never judge a book by its cover - At first glance, every horror movie with a seedy motel came to mind, and for the price, I didn't have high expectations. However, the owner went into our room before we got there and turned on the AC unit and the TV in preparation for our arrival. The room was quaintly decorated and very comfortable. The bed was also comfortable, and the room and bathroom were very clean. Given the age of this motel, I expected an old, musty smell, but there was none. It was nicely amenitied with a coffee maker, microwave, and 3.2 cubic foot fridge. It is very apparent that the owner of this motel takes pride in his property. It is situated behind a fast food restaurant, but there didn't seem to be any traffic or noise. And at 50 dollars cheaper than 2 other hotels during our trip, it was very well worth the money. I would stay here again if I ever find myself in Thermopolis.
- Oberwegner (8/5): - Very clean room. Nice front desk clerk to check us in. Air conditioner and darkening curtains. Convenient location. Can't seem to leave the ceiling fan going without keeping the lights on.
- russ (6/5): - Didn't see breakfast. A little beatup
- frederick (10/5): - Very kind staff too very good care of me. I had trouble accessing the key but we worked out. I will be back
- Jani (10/5): - The outside of the building is very dated but the inside is very cute and updated.
- Doreen (10/5): - Excellent value hotel in Thermopolis. Room was clean, they provided bottled water. Brought us a new mini-fridge after we discovered ours had no shelves. Bed a bit uncomfortable, but we are seniors so it may be fine for younger people. Dated decor, but it is such a good value who cares about that!
- Andrew (8/5): - Good, basic place. When I arrived, I didn't know where to go to check in. Another guest had the same problem. A sign directing people to the store would be helpful.
- Cheryl (1/5): We did not stay there. It was awful in the place should be closed down!!!!!! - It was awful. You walked in the front door of the office and it smelt horrible. Then you went into your rooms and they even smell worse. We actually went down the street and paid for a different hotel
- Dennis (8/5): - Just fine
- Elizabeth (10/5): Hidden Gem of a Motel Within Walking Distance of Thermopolis State Park - I really appreciated this comfy and homey mom-and-pop motel that's within a short walk of the Thermopolis State Park. Lovina, the proprietor, met us at the motel to give us our key and answer any questions that we had. We appreciated the mini fridge, microwave, and little coffee maker. There were even bottles of water and granola bars for us to have for a snack. The room was very clean and there was a table and chairs where we could sit and eat. Lovina also helped us to find a gift shop in town. We could have used another towel rod in the bathroom.
- Michael (10/5): - Quiet, clean, comfortable, plenty of hot water. Walking distance to downtown.
Friendly staff.
- STEPHANIE (10/5): - Quite and comfortable
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay for price point - Great sleep and stay! Nice to have a queen bed, bathroom, fridge, microwave, and convenient location
- Ludovico (4/5): - If you need the most cheap solution to sleep in Thermopilis could be good but everything is wrong. Despite the managers was very kindly the room located at ground level has no chance to keep the room obscured, the noise from the road is atrocious. I wake up more tired than when go to bed.
- Beverly (4/5): - Room smelled terrible, carpet was filthy. Bathroom was as clean as possible. Bed/linen was clean (I hope). We had two rooms reserved for four nights. I informed the manager that we would not be staying. She was apologetic that the facility did not meet our needs and said she would issue us a refund.
- David (10/5): - The room was clean, comfortable and had a nostalgic charm. It was an easy walk to Hot Springs State Park as well as the restaurants and shops downtown.
- Simon (10/5): - Interesting property with convenient self check-in. Good continental breakfast available in the morning.
- Miriam (10/5): - As a person who has extreme anxiety, and this trip was made to help me conquer it. I arrived. No one was there. Called the number. No one answered. So i followed the message that said to text. Immediately got back to me. Immediately arrived to check me in. Very friendly, very nice! They made me feel welcome. The place looked old, and rustic, but i liked it. It was quiet. Taco Johns was located directly behind my room. Open my door, and there was breakfast. Everything fun and exciting to do was a walk away. I felt very much safe. It was like a home, and a safe place away from home. I felt extremely comfortable there. The bed was very much comfortable, and the room was spotlessly clean. I absolutely loved my stay. I would completely recommend anyone stay there. I will be booking here everytime i stay in Thermopolis.
- Ian (8/5): Very good -
- Roberta (1/5): Bad - The manager at the hotel was unable to be at the property to check me in. So I had to go across the street to another hotel and pay for that. She texted me an hour and 19 minutes after check-in time told me the code for the room.. that seems a little sketchy
- Jeanette (10/5): Exceptional - It was good all around for a night.
- Anna (8/5): Just right for a stay right next to the state park, clean, safe, inconvenient. Also, comfortable!! - The room number 12 bathtub didn’t drain quickly, seems like there is a plug that needs to be fixed
- Patrice (7/5): Worked well for me. Lavina was very pleasant. - Liked the laundry room
Rooms could be updated
- Renee (10/5): We had a great time '' - Miss Lovina was very understanding caring end kind. The room was clean comfortable and fantastic That it snowed and caused a LOT of road -& school closures
- Moore (9/5): Superb -
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kyle (10/5): - Friendly and Helpful staff. We will be back!
- Jeanne (6/5): - Cute and cozy room... but no makeup light ot heat in bathroom. Also, only a light bedspread so had to turn the heat way up.
However the price was perfect and I love the fact they are staying open in winter with a work around for staffing
- Zac (6/5): - Looks like a start of a remodel that was not finished. There is Room for improvement. overall not too bad and we where thankful for a decent price and place to stay. I think if things in the remodel were finished more, the room would feel cleaner.
- Malinda (8/5): - The owners were so kind and friendly. The room was definitely older and could use some TLC, but it was large, clean, had everything we needed and the beds were surprisingly super comfortable. It was also right next to the High School for our event and within a brief walk of the springs.
The only thing I missed was I thought there was a breakfast, there wasn’t, but I’m not even sure where I saw that listed, the grocery store and local bakery had just what we wanted so it was all good.
- James (10/5): Exceptional - Great place and stay!!! Nice owner.
- Russell (10/5): - Older building but clean. Nice sheets and towels. Maintained fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Coffee and some breakfast bars were included. Livian was very sweet and helpful.
- Brittney (8/5): - For the price, 10/10! Clean & cozy. I’m a travel nurse, and for what I need it for, to sleep between night shifts, it’s great!
- Pat (8/5): - It worked fine for my needs.
- Robert (10/5): - Vintage stay
- Brittney (8/5): - For the price it was wonderful
- Mares (10/5): Exceptional - Me and my husband stayed it was very clean and the lady of the place called me to make sure I was still coming and asked me when I was going to arrive so she could have our room nice for us when we got to the hotel she was very polite very nice person to deal with the hotel was wonderful all the way around I can't wait to go back to stay again I loved everything I didn't have no dislikes
- Jeremiah (10/5): - Great place to crash and great prices
- Catherine (8/5): - It's an older motel in a small town so I didn't expect anything too fancy. It was perfect for what we needed, and very clean for an older place. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Thank you for having us!!
- Stephanie (10/5): - First of all, you have to understand that this is an older hotel. It was perfect for our needs, though. The room was small but clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. There was a setup for coffee and even some granola bars. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Can’t beat the price. Would stay here again.
- Bruce (8/5): good location - ease of checking in. close to hot springs busy with vehicles outside during the night
- Ron (7/5): Good -
